Went to the night time Halloween tour and had a great time, tour guides were brilliant fun! Will definitely be back for the daytime tour and gardens!
Amazing views from outside! We done the tour at Halloween it was brillant
This place is brilliant. The staff are amazing and really give it their all. Well worth a visit as it's on the way to and from Hook Head.
They transformed this grand estate into a cheesy Halloween fun house. Such a disappointment. We were heartbroken. If you are a paranormal investigator you will be deeply disappointed. Spare yourself the let down - don't bother.
I cant weat to go back and do the 1hour 45 tour to see the three floors
Great tour. Loved the experience. Would definitely recommend to go visit
The kids really enjoyed the tour. Would have liked to have seen more of the house though. Never mentioned the baby in the wall of the tapestry room.
Went for the tour ,but you are only allowed on the ground floor. Funny that the story about the devil playing cards there is just like the story about the hell fire club over looking Dublin city.
Brilliant scary fun tour, would like to see more of the house accessible
I love hunted houses, for me it was like an atraction from Disney. I really enjoy it and got scary at some point!
Supposedly the most haunted house in Ireland
For only 10 a head
I really enjoyed my visit and the tour. Would highly recommend a visit to participate in the eerie goings on.
A great tour and beautiful gardens. Lovely cafe and prices were reasonable. Great to do before or after visit to Hook Lighthouse.
They played more towards a haunted house feeling with lighting effects and sound effects. Which killed it for me as all it needs is a quiet atmosphere. Only got to see 4 rooms all in and the tour was finished.
Plus to get out we were charged 2 to get out of the car park.
Over priced tour for the tour duration and limited access to the house (<1 floor out of 3)
Great experience which is sure to get better as more of the hall is renovated. As it is at the moment, the standard "day" tour doesn't show you much of the hall and as such the tickets are a tad expensive, but the story telling is great and does a lot to make up for it.
Very enjoyable family friendly spooky tour. Lovely building very historic. Apparently one of the most haunted places in Ireland.
Great tour! Well worth a visit hope they continue ur to develop the attraction!
When visiting Ireland for the first time I wanted to see the infamous Loftus Hall! Unfortunately this was by far the most expensive and disappointing tour. I had hoped to hear about the history and gain some understanding of this haunted building. Instead we got short stories and silly scare tactics with a brief tour. Overall I wouldn't recommend touring this place as you can have a better experience by reading online.
We absolutely loved our visit yesterday, our tour guide was brilliant, its a great place to visit with children, myself and my husband will definitely be going back for the night time tour
I'd passed by Loftus Hall many times but recently on a long weekend in the Hook peninsula, we popped in for the tour. It is brilliant and we'll worth doing. Facilities there are excellent. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommended!
Well worth a visit very entertaining tour guide Joe really brilliant , well done to all involved.
A very good your. The tour guide Colm really added to the experience. The house its self needs a lot of restoration to bring it back to its former glory. Hopefully they will put more money back in to the house to improve it.
Loftus Hall is an amazing place to visit if your on the Hook Peninsula. The tour guide (Joe) was very funny and nice but he made the whole thing creepy also. They really did a good job when it came to showing off Ireland's most haunted More
Brilliant place to visit , great guided tour , walled gardens and picnic area
Good fun. Guide was very funny. But they say kids from 5 years up. I'd suggest 12 years and older.
Such a great history to Loftus Hall and such an ery place, tour was a great experience
Super Guide. Great atmosphere! Unfortunately only a few rooms on the tour
It was a pity I couldn't follow the whole story (I'm Spanish). They acted quite good. The atmosphere is excellent.
Very good story behind the really nice house with the really big property. Always worth a tour.
Not as scary as I thought it would be but use your own judgement if you have kids... mine weren't scared but some in the group were. Staff are very nice, Joe is very entertaining! Lovely Cafe for tea and sandwiches and a small gift shop
Great tour guide really added tension to the story and very knowledgeable on the hall itself.
Lovely house, currently being renovated but stop by for refreshments if you're in the area.
Every time I go there they done something new to the place. Great day out to go on the tour of the house remember to book the tickets online.
It is a beautiful old house with a lot of history and nice gardens. The tour is very informative but does use some theatrical scare tactics that can be amusing.
Entertaining, not scary. A bit pricy for the amount of the house you see. I know they are raising funds to renovate more of the house, it was a bit underwhelming though...after a 3 hour drive.
Well worth a visit, even on sunny day . Great tour guide, Joe made it work for all in a nice varied group. No ghosts but I still wouldn't spend a night in the place
Fantastic tours for every age group but I think we got extra lucky because our guide Stephen was just fantastic
Spooktacular, well worth a visit. Thank you Lord Tottenham.
Expected a really scary place a bit disappointed did not live up to expectations Staff were very good at telling the story behind Loftus hall
I expected much more for Ireland's most haunted house. But as promised, all money earned from ticket sales and restaurant sales will revert to site rehab. I hope that when I get back from the next I'll find something more interesting. A very positive point goes to the guide and his performance, perhaps the highlight of the visit.
Great place to take a walk threw history the tour guides have great knowledge of the house and surrounding area and encourage people to participate in the tour it's a must see of Wexford
Excellent Tour & Guide. It feels real, the house is old and worn.
Pretty eerie place..you can really feel something around the place. The walled garden is well maintained with different types of flora and fauna. There are rare types of flowers that you don't usually see in the gardens and there's attention to details on the placement of the decors. A small souvenir shop is a plus supporting local artists. There is also a great coffee shop to grab a light bite or lunch.
Well worth a visit and located in beautiful part of the country
The history of loftus hall is amazing not only a place for those who love ghost hunting but there is loads for the family to do when there is festival's on and kids can visit loftus hall for the most adventures kids highly recommended x
Loved the your very entertaining and reasonably priced. Cafe ok my frappe needed more salted caramel flavour. House spectacular be great when more of it open.
It was a disgrace!
I was there over the summer, it was very busy and the staff in the Cafe were outstanding with there Service. It was a fella and a girl working at such a busy time in and really friendly but then there was a tall enough man (Light Brown to Blonde coloured hair and looked to be the manager) not in uniform came up to the two staff members in the Cafe and treat like dirt on the floor. He then went into what looked to be the Kitchen and I could still hear him shouting at the staff inside!! He was very horrible to his staff and i dont know how people could go in and work for someone so horrible day in day out. I will not be returning to Loftus hall again due to this and will be spreading this review on facebook/twitter and local radios!!!
Wonderful experience, thank you to everyone involved
A Beautiful place lovely scenery nice little cafe shop.
For the next who have been, is it as cringy and creepy as they show on ghost adventures??
Went on the tour. Fantastic home with a twisted and old history. A must stop. Wish that the upper floors would be safe enough to see as well.
The tour over all three floors is very scary and recommended!
Wonderful tour, they pitch it at a perfect level for all ages, which is not easy. Really want to go back now for the adult night time trip
