They transformed this grand estate into a cheesy Halloween fun house. Such a disappointment. We were heartbroken. If you are a paranormal investigator you will be deeply disappointed. Spare yourself the let down - don't bother.

Went for the tour ,but you are only allowed on the ground floor. Funny that the story about the devil playing cards there is just like the story about the hell fire club over looking Dublin city.

They played more towards a haunted house feeling with lighting effects and sound effects. Which killed it for me as all it needs is a quiet atmosphere. Only got to see 4 rooms all in and the tour was finished.

Plus to get out we were charged 2 to get out of the car park.

Great experience which is sure to get better as more of the hall is renovated. As it is at the moment, the standard "day" tour doesn't show you much of the hall and as such the tickets are a tad expensive, but the story telling is great and does a lot to make up for it.

When visiting Ireland for the first time I wanted to see the infamous Loftus Hall! Unfortunately this was by far the most expensive and disappointing tour. I had hoped to hear about the history and gain some understanding of this haunted building. Instead we got short stories and silly scare tactics with a brief tour. Overall I wouldn't recommend touring this place as you can have a better experience by reading online.

I'd passed by Loftus Hall many times but recently on a long weekend in the Hook peninsula, we popped in for the tour. It is brilliant and we'll worth doing. Facilities there are excellent. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommended!

A very good your. The tour guide Colm really added to the experience. The house its self needs a lot of restoration to bring it back to its former glory. Hopefully they will put more money back in to the house to improve it.

Loftus Hall is an amazing place to visit if your on the Hook Peninsula. The tour guide (Joe) was very funny and nice but he made the whole thing creepy also. They really did a good job when it came to showing off Ireland's most haunted More

Not as scary as I thought it would be but use your own judgement if you have kids... mine weren't scared but some in the group were. Staff are very nice, Joe is very entertaining! Lovely Cafe for tea and sandwiches and a small gift shop

Entertaining, not scary. A bit pricy for the amount of the house you see. I know they are raising funds to renovate more of the house, it was a bit underwhelming though...after a 3 hour drive.

I expected much more for Ireland's most haunted house. But as promised, all money earned from ticket sales and restaurant sales will revert to site rehab. I hope that when I get back from the next I'll find something more interesting. A very positive point goes to the guide and his performance, perhaps the highlight of the visit.

Pretty eerie place..you can really feel something around the place. The walled garden is well maintained with different types of flora and fauna. There are rare types of flowers that you don't usually see in the gardens and there's attention to details on the placement of the decors. A small souvenir shop is a plus supporting local artists. There is also a great coffee shop to grab a light bite or lunch.

It was a disgrace!

It was a disgrace!
I was there over the summer, it was very busy and the staff in the Cafe were outstanding with there Service. It was a fella and a girl working at such a busy time in and really friendly but then there was a tall enough man (Light Brown to Blonde coloured hair and looked to be the manager) not in uniform came up to the two staff members in the Cafe and treat like dirt on the floor. He then went into what looked to be the Kitchen and I could still hear him shouting at the staff inside!! He was very horrible to his staff and i dont know how people could go in and work for someone so horrible day in day out. I will not be returning to Loftus hall again due to this and will be spreading this review on facebook/twitter and local radios!!!
