Update: Came here again, so I gotta update my review. This place is awesome! Manager is super nice, he told us such appetizer would feed both kids. Portions are very large here. I got the grilled steak Caesar salad and some hot wings. The hot garlic wings are amazing. The staff is so friendly here you feel like you almost know them. My friend was eating wings and the waiter/manager noticed that he didn't have a bone plate and quick grabbed him on. 25% tip. Will be back.

Great food! Loved the Atlantic Salmon platter... Plenty of flavor! The steak salad is also quite delicious, with lots of big chunks of strip steak in it! The buffalo chicken salad is also really good, and they didn't overdo the buffalo sauce like a lot of places do. The seafood bisque is so thick and delicious that you almost can't finish the large portion size that they give you. Almost. The appetizer is the same size as the side, which is huge.
The downside is that the wait can get a little long for your food, and the wait time can be extremely long to even get into the place. Definitely will be going again!

Friendly owner and staff. Generous food and wine portions. Moderate pricing. Large local clientele. Welcoming atmosphere. When in the Scranton area, we always plan to dine there.

The crowd here is on the older side. It is very spacious, but call ahead if you plan on sitting in because they get really busy. Their wings are good and the service is even better. The owner blends in well so you don't recognize him, but he genuinely inquires about your visit and takes your suggestions to heart WHILE remembering you the next time you visit. The beer selection is also a selling point. The bartenders and waiters/waitresses are very knowledgeable and help you find the beer that suits your taste the best they can. The only down side for me was the crowd, but some people prefer it. Enjoy!

FANTASTIC FOOD AND Service was friend and plenty of food for your money. If you leave her hungry that is on you.

Quantity of food is decent for the listed prices. Food quality is often very poor (Brown, soggy, aged salad; stale fries, etc.) has lead to most co-workers refusing to return for take out food.

Food is amazing and the prices are cheap. My favorite wing place in the area, particularly the garlic parm wings. Very nice set up inside. This place can get very busy particular if you are with a large party. I would recommend getting there early.

Love stopping in at the Loading Dock for a bite. Along with LOTS of other people, sometimes there is a wait, but the food for me is worth it. Delicious food and great staff. Love their buffalo chicken wrap, and their wings are great!

Rather good food with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately the wait time for a simple table of 4 is rather ridiculous on most nights.

My partner and I went there for the first time and we absolutely loved the place! We are now regulars p, we love the place! Great, reasonable prices and awesome menu to choose from! A little hard to find but well worth looking for!

Buffalo chicken hogie with their special sauce is outstanding. Top 2 or 3 in the area. To me that's saying alot. I'm kind of a connoisseur of these. Large portions

Fantastic service, and the food is outstanding. The portions are extremely large, as well. Usually, I am hesitant to order popcorn shrimp because you don't get a lot for the price, but that is not the case, here. I got more than enough, and some to spare.
Great selection of sauces and flavors for the fries, wings, etc. And a wide selection of beers to choose from -- not like most places where all you can order is what's on tap. There are plenty of beers to try.
The staff are so helpful, and friendly, too. They really know how to treat guests and make them feel at home.
The wait time isn't bad, at all. We went on the day after Thanksgiving and expected a long line. At most, we waited about 15 minutes before we got our seats.
If you like seafood and you want to go somewhere where you get a great deal with large portions, definitely give The Loading Dock a try. It will become your favorite place to eat in no time.

We came here for my boyfriend's birthday and everything was incredible! Our server was lovely and super attentive and the food was incredible! Everything came out quickly, hot, and absolutely delicious! The portions are little big so we have enough leftovers for the weekend! Definitely recommend this restaurant !

The amount of food for the price you pay is unbelievable. The food is always fresh and hot. Great selection, even for picky eaters. Get here early as it is a local favorite.

Absolutely believed the food to be Outstanding everytime I've been here before this recent visit. The staff have always been amazing as well. However, we were there this weekend and the food was drastically different. I don't know if they have hired a new cook but it tasted like fast food slopped together. Something has changed.

Large portions, especially salads and french fries. Food is very good service is very good. Servers are friendly. Large craft beer selection. Expect a long wait on weekend nights.

The food is always delicious and portions are HUGE, especially for the price. Beer is a bit pricey but the food prices are so reasonable it doesn't matter. Staff is amazing, polite, and attentive. The owner's attention to detail is great!

My go tos are the signature wrap and signature salad. Salads enough to make 3 meals.

If going on weekends expect to wait a while because they don't do reservation and it is ALWAYS crowded. Consider take out if you don't want to wait.

New experience for me. Nice girl gathering spot. Good meal portion!ordered a shrimp Caesar salad and got chicken instead. They would have replaced it but I didn't want to wait with everyone else eating. I would have thought the restaurant would have discounted my meal for waitress error.no! Next time I want seafood I will head to RedLobster!!

The food is always excellent and the service is always excellent. And they give you a lot of food! I can never finish what I order! I have never felt rushed to finish my meal.

Very friendly waitresses and waiters. Food is always great and reasonably priced. As you leave all the workers that see you ways say Thank you for visiting. It's such a warm welcome place. We come here at least 2times a month for appetizers and for dinner. You will never find a nicer group of workers who really care how your visit was.

Yummy food, great beer and wine selections, friendly staff

First time to this restaurant. We weren't quite sure about it being in a strip mall, but the food was great and they give you a lot of it. The host made you feel important when seating you and the waitress was great too. I didn't give it 5 stars, because of the very dark atmosphere. The walls are dark, the ceiling is dark and the floors are dark. It was a little unsettling for the guests I was with.

Meh...just an average experience. We were in the area after purchasing a vehicle nearby and decided to give the loading dock a try based on several recommendations and discovered it was nothing special or out of the ordinary. The place was packed with several large groups waiting, but we were immediately seated. The first thing you notice upon entering is the dark atmosphere and overwhelming smell of dirty black carpeting. Whoever chose the dark carpeting should be fired on the spot, it shows all of the crumbs of food dropped and crushed into the nape, it's most unsanitary to have carpeting in a restaurant. The menu is vast but my husband settled on a BBQ burger and I chose the French Dip. Both were served with a mound of French fries straight from the freezer. I hate frozen potatoes and other such shortcuts. The French Dip was served on a huge chibatta roll which I could not eat, the roll came right out of the bag, cold and dry which could have been spruced up with toasting or grilling. The little bit of meat on the sandwich was tough and lacked much flavor. Plus, the menu said caramelized onions were on the sandwich but they were not caramelized, just limp onions. I left the huge bun and only ate the meat. My husband's burger was yet another freezer item and not a fresh, hand made burger. A restaurant should not specialize in burgers or sandwiches, then use frozen items. Neither of us ate the French fries and have no intention of going back. Try at your own risk.

Really good food defiantly a five for that. The only thing I wouldn't come for just drinks all the time they are very pricey, but a really nice place to go to eat.

I am soooo impressed with this place. The portions are huge and you wouldn't believe how much food you get for the price paid. I got a cheese steak wrap. The number four sampler. And a chef salad. I didn't come close to eating half of what I ordered. I will be back to this place!!

No waiting to be seated Thursday evening. Service fast as usual. Food came out fresh and hot. They are on top of their game.

First let me start by saying that I cannot recall the last time I have been to an establishment so hospitable. These people care that you have a great experience. They are passionate about their beer and food also. Great restaurant, very affordable, worth the drive. No wonder so many people were standing in line waiting for a table when we got there.
