Great upstairs with awesome dj!! The prices for drinks was very reasonable and the vibe is unbeatable!!

My last experience at Uptown Social was an experience I would never forget. Unlike other places, Uptown Social brings a totally different atmosphere to the business section as well as the community part of Downtown Charleston. A highly respectful and understanding staff. The food is great, the beverages are off the chain and the entertainment is straight. Uptown Social is definitely my new hang out spot for years to come, I hope. Buurrrp!!!!

Place us awesome. Happy hour cant be beat! Come down and see Pat, he is awesome. Friendly and know what hospitality means! We will be back! Btw. The sliders are sandwiches. Sloppy joes are amazing

Always a fun night and friendly staff. Especially now that they added the little photo booth in the corner. Will keep coming back to Uptown and bringing my friends and family with me.

Normally I don't review places that are great... cause they are already over crowed, but this place to too good to not to give props. Great Bartender's, great Happy Hour and plenty of space for all you Yanks that haven't found this place yet. Highly recommend this place. See you here soon.

We reserved a room for the after party of our wedding at Uptown Social. It worked out perfectly. The staff and owner were so accommodating and helpful and we had an absolute blast. Not to mention, the pizza was fantastic (and we're from the north and are pretty critical about pizza!) It was a lively environment. A lot of our guests were there the day before as well and loved the rooftop.

Fun awesome environment with second floor deck. This place is hopping and is an awesome environment to visit. Never seen a bar so decorated and nice. The staff is right on the money with everything and are always willing to help out.

A great place to grab a drink and snack after work! Very respectful of social distancing while still providing excellent service.

Frozen twisted tea cocktail is amazing and the frozen rose . Especially when you go during happy hour between 5-7pm, you can get these special cocktails half price. Food is also included in the happy hour. Like the pizza bites which are so delicious!!!!

Terrible service - bartender had a terrible attitude and would hardly acknowledge me.

Very nice place, we ate outside there was live music, I had the Buffalo Chicken pizza it was very good. My brother had a burger he enjoyed it.

Friday night it turns into one of the dopest night clubs in Charleston in my opinion - we love UPTOWN SOCIAL

Great sports bar, or quick spot to grab a drink. Came in to try Austin's Beer (TropHop) from Southern Charm while we were in the area and ended up staying for the good conversation and fun atmosphere. Patrick the bartender was fantastic, and we had a great time - definitely recommend.

Bartender Watson made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. Wife's Caesar salad was the BEST she has ever had. Pizza is phenomenal! What a happy experience!

One of the coolest newer bars/club/lounge on king street! Amazing staff! Great selection of beer and liquor! Great cocktails! Rooftop is a major plus! Always have great DJ's! Go check it out!

I have never had a more welcoming, warm and fun experience. The food is delicious, the service is on point and the entire vibe is the BEST. Love how big and open the space is. Would 10/10 recommend !

Food is good but live music on the patio was obnoxiously loud.

Rooftop bar was really cool! Rated one of the best in Charleston. Also had White Zombie from Catawba brewery

We had our welcome dinner at uptown social for our destination wedding this past weekend. We had family and friends fly in from Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, St. Louis, and Florida. The staff at Uptown Social was amazing and attentive. Our contact was Bryn and she exceeded expectations. Glass was never empty. Food kept on coming. It was too perfect.

Dj was awesome with an amazing set of mixes moved from the roof to the interior at 10.30 did not stay in the interior to listen but he had the roof rocking

Great bartenders, *amazing* (smoked then flash fried) wings and delicious hummus!! Definitely a place to go back to and recommend!

Our bartender was honestly just super grouchy and unpleasant. Our first night out in Charleston and she really made us want to leave this bar. We only stopped in for drinks but she really did make us leave quickly.

While visiting Charleston I went to this place 3 different times in 2 weeks. I had so much fun. First night it was Thursdays and the place was pack. I dance my feet off. Next I wen on a Sunday to have lunch and watch a soccer game, pizza was good. The third time....OMG. Friday night, and I tried the best shrimp tacos ever! I totally recommend them.

Nice environment. Caters to the younger crowd and sports enjoyers. Amazing happy hour. Half off most of the bar except specialty cocktails and higher end liquors. I tried a pork slider and curly fries. The fries were the best part of the food. Slider were fatty and bland. Ketchup was even nasty.

Great happy hour deals. Parking right across the street. Good food.

Great bar with an awesome rooftop. Went on a Thursday night. Not too crowded, great music downstairs. The rooftop bar wasn t too crowded, had 2 bartenders working. Never had to wait for drinks. Would come back.

Shrimp tacos and General tsos chicken sandwich were delish!

The sandwiches were awesome! And our waiter was great. Even took the time to hang with us and discuss things to do in the area. Would definitely go again.

Went there to eat on. Saturday night. Food was great and atmosphere was really cool. They had live entertainment and the guy was one of the best solo performers I have seen I a while. Service could've been better but they were busy so understandable. I would absolutely recommend this place Ifyou arelooking for good fresh food

Drinks were priced well, venue is really nice, but DJ's were sad, theres a reason when you drive by nobody is dancing. It's really ashame bc there's so much space for people to dance and instead everyones standing around.

As many flat screens as you want and packed with people on game nights / weekends. Quality food all through the night. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive.

Verrrrry slow....one waitress was seen . The weekend......Appetizers took an hour with a half full place...sad...could be a cool place

Their chicken tenders in the bacon honey mustard are the best I've had ever. Might actually be sad when I order tenders elsewhere!

Dined there last night (Fri 19th April) and tried the pizza and wings. Wings were very good, better than Wild Wings, the pizza crust was excellent but lacked body on top... some improvement needed here. Waitress was attentive but the music was overpowering.. this needs to stop or at least tone down significantly.. and all the worse when none of the music was known to me. I'm impressed by the scale of TV coverage and this place can make a serious go of it if they stop frightening customers away.

Great sports bar setting that features best thin crust pizza on the peninsula. Sharp service is appreciated as wll.

Our drinks were weak, I honestly do not think the first ones had any alcohol in them. Our server suggested we get a double and then the next ones were basically straight liquor, so not exactly what we were wanting when ordering a mixed drink. We ordered 4 drinks and walked out paying over 50 dollars for them. They would not play the free UFC fight on ESPN, so was boring, expensive with old sports playing.

Went here with a group of friends last night. After getting upstairs after patiently waiting in line, one of my friends was shoved and accidentally bumped into a bouncer. The bouncer immediately turned around and got another bouncer to help him forcibly drag my friend by the neck and arms with no questions asked. He wasn't given the opportunity to explain and did not resist being taken out. Yet, they still dragged him out. The bouncer downstairs at the door then told my friend that he had to get off the sidewalk (public property). When I asked the bouncer what happened, I was not allowed back inside. Shortly after this, 3 other bouncers beat up a man on the stairs. The man was taken to the hospital via EMS. All in all, this was a terrible experience. We caused no trouble, were not rowdy, and waited patiently. The staff is terrible and I will not be returning. I also encourage everyone to choose a different bar to spend your money (unless you don't mind getting assaulted).

Actually exactly what it sounds like. Huge facility on King Street with rooftop bar. Awesome cocktail menu. Great atmosphere for social drinking.

Slipped and fell down wet stairs , was promptly booted out from the bar instead of asking if I was okay . I was sober at the time . Avoid this bar and these tools at all costs

Had the rudest experience here and I hope you NEVER get the employee who sits at the bar and drinks while you re here. Good luck to whoever ventures here.

It was so hot today and I had to stop in for a drink, the service is really good and friendly and I'll be coming back there to eat lunch sometime today.

We had a blast with our home team party , it's a good spot to chill with friends or your lady and food was good also

The most banging spot in all of Charleston South Carolina. From their friendly staff to the amazing deals. As well Uptown Social has the longest running happy hour in town, till 8 pm.
The rooftop bar on the weekends is the spot to be Fri-Sat. If you are looking for a good time this is the place.

The chef here is top notch. I wish I remembered his name. I ordered something dairy free and he personally came out to let me know what my dinner would consist of once all dairy was removed. Not wanting it at this point he pointed out a few dishes that would be a better choice for my needs. The meal was great! As a chef he went above and beyond what I would have expected. I will come again next time I'm in town.

Staff is rude. Atmosphere average. Plenty of better spots on upper king.

This review is based solely on the food which was pleasantly delicious for American bar food which I love. The shareable food options were a good size to share with 2-3 hungry adults. It is not super family friendly as I am pretty sure we were the only people there with a 1 year old and it took the hostess a while to find a high chair. We also got carded at 1 pm to just enter the facility which I thought was weird but this may be Charleston rules. I would definitely come again just for a good quick bite to eat and watch a game.
