Comfortable with friendly wait staff and excellent food

Sometimes it hits the spot after a hike. The food is good.

Oh, I liked this place. Really delicious cuisine and wonderful, warm service. There's many good places to eat in Lake Placid, and Lisa's is among the best.

Great apres ski (or apres anything else outdoors) casual restaurant and lounge. Meatloaf was excellent!

Great atmosphere great people that work for lisa g's waitress checked in and was quick. Food is amazing for the price with is cheaper then anywhere else on main street and bigger portions hope you come hungary. Will be back again next year and lisa g's will be a stop for sure .

Have eaten there twice on our vacation. Great service. Casual atmosphere, that has burgers, pizza, wings, etc. But also creative entrees or pub offerings. Should be able to find something for everyone. Best overall in downtown Lake Placid Village, in my modest opinion.

Outstanding service, drink variety was excellent and food was outstanding as well. Calamari had a fantastic twist. Must have.

Greek wings!! I drive from Cape Cod for them. Haven't found anything even close to comparable all around Boston.

This was our fist stop in Lake Placid area and a good choice. Many options that looked good. We got a burger and salad. Both were good and the place was a relaxed place to rest a while.

Lisa G's has a wonderful patio by the waterfall. The food is very good and wait staff very attentive. Go here as opposed to the place across the street.

Good restaurant for comfort food and a variety of drinks. The burgers were okay but maybe it was just the daily special one that wasn't as good as the rest of the menu.

We really likes it here. We sat on the back patio and enjoyed the river scenery. I ordered the schnitzel and it was great. I would definitely stop again.

Very trendy and inviting inside. Wait time given was accurate. Food was great. Would go back and recommend to others.

Prices are great, wings are a little mild from a Buffalonian standpoint but are actually fried and really good! The fish is fresh and amazing, the scallion fries are delicious. Also there's a bar dog, her name is Kiwa and she is the sweetest and goodest girl.

Lisa G's, in my opinion, has the best lunch in LP hands down. Always fresh and tasty, and definitely not off the restaurant supply truck. You won't go wrong here for lunch. Can't speak for dinner - we haven't tried that...

I love it here. Food has always been great and the staff friendly. Never had a bad experience.

Have been there twice. First time it was spectacular. Went a week ago for the second time. The Moroccan nachos were wonderful. The greek wings were very bland. The pulled pork bahn mi was a soggy mess. The falafel tasted like it came from a mix. Pretty disappointing.

I loved this place. The food was delicious. The outdoor seating was soothing and the drinks were amazing. I am so happy that we stopped by!

I came to this restaurant numerous times and the staff are rude at times and they seem to get my order wrong as well. I don't know if they do this on purpose or they're just stupid. The food is decent at best.

Bar tenders there make one of the finest dark and stormys I've ever had. Great food with changing specials.

Lisa g's is a great place but our server "Nacho" (name changed to protect the innocent) forgot to bring our pu pu platter. She also ate half of my sandwich because management won't give her 3 minutes to go to the bathroom. What is this?...Amazon?

Descent eatery with good burgers that is away from the crowded main strip in Lake Placid.

Never a disappointment! This is a must go to if you're staying in the Lake Placid area. Awesome food and friendly staff!

The most idyllic setting anywhere off of Mirror lake and just the right distance off the beaten path. An incredibly diverse menu with something for everyone. A huge hit with locals and the price is right. The Monday night happy hour wing special can't be beat. Also some of the best staff in town.

Moved away last year and I miss this place greatly.

Recommendation came from local business ...great dinner excellent service....need to bring the Greek wings to Ottawa CDA

Got the hot wings here the other day. Definitely hot enough for your average hot sauce fan, but I can't wait to try Jay's extra hot wings next time!

Taco fish was hard like rubber. Fish and chips, fries were burned and fried fish was dripping oil and soggy. Log wait for the food. Most sad experience.

Service was absolutely AMAZING! definitely felt welocmed at this restaurant. Our sever was very polite and was great as well, I think his name was forest awesome name. I had orderd a virgin mango margarita since I cant drink yet and it was awesome! The added cinnamon sugar on the line of the glass was a great balance of flavors. I would like to say the bread they provide is a delight nice and crunchy with soft inside. For dinner I had orderd the duck breast the presentation of the plate was stunning. The cranberry with duck goes together and the meat was juicy and not dry at all. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Friendly staff. We had the falafel plate and the black bean burger. Falafel was a bit overcooked. Burger was great. The fries are excellent. It's loud and very popular so be prepared for a crowd. Their service is pretty quick, considering.

For certs y'all gotta get the FISH AND CHIPS (FRIES). AMAZE NAYSH!!!! Legit best fish and chips I ever had. That's coming from someone who sailed the SEVENS SEAS LIKE SINBAD. DONT @ ME.

Please bring back the old french fries and burger buns.

Good food with a varied menu. Great beer selection. Really friendly staff.

The appetizers were great. They brought me the wrong order (unfortunately, I did not like the sandwich they brought me). The waiter did not check on us after we received our food. He finally came by after my family was done eating their meals. The waiter offered to get my order right. At that point (at least to me), it was too late to correct the mistake with my order.

Had a quick dinner here, BBQ chicken thighs and Asian salad. Chicken was excellent, very tasty and appreciated the attention to detail removing the bones and cartilage from the thighs to leave just the tasty meat! Very well executed, chef!

Took off a star because when we were there, it was approaching freezing outside, but they left the back door open to the patio and the back third of the place was just freezing with the draft coming in.

This was a very nice place with great food and there was a nice pool table!

Great food and service. The menu keeps things interesting and I would definitely make an effort to eat here again on another visit to Lake Placid.

For dinner we had chicken parmesan and salmon. The chicken parmesan was divine, a nice tender well cooked piece of chicken in a delicious red sauce on a humongous pile if spaghetti (I could have done with a lot less, it even no spaghetti, that's good good the chicken was - a side of garlic bread would have been perfect). My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Asian inspired meal.

The atmosphere was great, our server (I forgot his name sorry - young guy, dark hair) was fantastic! He was very convivial, we enjoyed our interactions with him.

A number of years ago when we were here, they had bread pudding on the desert menu and it was fabulous. The dessert menu over the past few years has been the same three items and honestly the cake was ok, but nothing to rave about. It would be wonderful to see it expanded and improved.

This place is amazing. Great....and i mean GREAT food at reasonable prices. We come to LP every year and this will be one of our new go to's. There was a bit of a wait but soooooooo worth it.

My wife called in for take out. We picked it up and headed back to the Airbnb to eat. GREAT place. Fast and friendly service. My wife had the fish taco's and she loved them. I tried the short rib tostada and it was truly magnificent. Very tasty and filling. Was told by our airbnb host that this is where the locals eat. Highly recommend this place. We had intended to eat in, but they were full with reservations. Still, take out is a great option. You will love this place.

We stopped for dinner after spending a day in lake placid. The outdoor dining is great. More quiet and less rushed than Main Street. Three adults and 4 children all loved their food. Prices were reasonable. Staff was very attentive. We always plan on Lisa g's when we visit the adriondacks.

Mango margo and Chase the waiter. Can't get any better than that.

Food, drink and outdoor seating always top notch. Service great, too.
