We decided on eating at Lisa G's after reading the reviews. The reviews were spot on...great food, great service, worth the stop. Our server was a delight and very friendly. We ordered an appetizer and then waited on our main course. We did have to wait for an unusually long time for it, but when it arrived, it was hot and absolutely delicious. Given the chance, we would ear here again.

Excellent service, the Mango Margarita is fantastic! Dinner was awesome! The Belgium waffle dessery is a must have! Azar is the the best!

The food was amazing, wide bar selection and our server was great! As a local, I recommend Lisa G's to my clients often and it's one of my favorite restaurants here in Lake Placid.

Loved this place! It always makes for an enjoyable experience when a restaurant is this well-balanced from start to finish! Ambiance is a fun, Art Deco twist, with great cocktails & unique tasty food. We had the cheese treat appetizer (just get it, it s heaven), lobster pot pie (which was deconstructed & had fennel; amazing), the seafood risotto & Moroccan salad, all great. Can t wait to return!

Patio seating was a nice view. Ordered chicken parm and a salad for the wife.

Parm was nothing great. Sauce was probably from a jar. Salad came with the wrong dressing and without the feta topping. Come to find out we weren t the only ones missing that at that time.

Gentleman who brought our food out, not our waitress, couldn t understand us when I told him it was the wrong dressing.

Waitress was average. Not super attentive.

I would go back. Just with lower expectations.

Third time here and always good! Chicken wings, seafood and tostada were all delicious. We sat on the indoor/outdoor patio and felt very comfortable. Will be back for sure!

Always enjoy dinners here. A popular spot that is often busy. A little out of town but worth the drive there.

The food here was amazing and came recommended by the locals. They have many specialty drinks and the staff was super friendly. I will definitely be going here again next time i'm in town.

Place was great. something for everyone and our waiter was awesome.

On a dinner night, service was attentive, albeit could be faster. The food was okay. Pork loin was stiff. Shrimp taco was too sweet because of ample pineapple. The chicken tenders were properly Spidey though. And don't freaking call it a special, when you serve canned beer. That $5 for a can of beer seems a bit too pricey.

Off of the main drag and often-overlooked, Lisa G's is a wonderful place. The food Will Never Let You Down and the service is second to none. Make sure you asked about wing night.

Very interesting choice in indoor decoration for the main dining room however the food offered is very unique and tasty. Service staff was very very excellent friendly and attentive. Very busy when we arrived but they were able to squeeze us in with little to no wait. Only 4 stars because the food was good just not as amazing. Let's see how next time goes!

Omg. STOP. If you are in the area eat here. Ask for Mary the waitress or any of the other staff. All are fantastic and the food I kid you not is insane like actually delicious. From NJ will drive back just for food I don t care if it s 5 hours haha. Trust me get the coffee wings and cheese dish and anything else it is worth it.

If they ask you about where you want to sit, I suggest NOT to sit outside as their sunshade doesn't cover 2/3 of the tables. As food, their wings were okay. Also ordered Shrimp Tacos with pineapple salsa. To me, it seemed like the shrimp itself had sweet batter. It was like eating scoops of sugar, do not recommend. Everything was overly sweet. My husband got a burger with some toppings. One of the toppings (avacados) he ordered wasn't there but still got billed for it. On the plus side, good service and nice people. Also a dog friendly restaurant it seems.

As a pescetarian I eat a lot of fish. And this may have been the best salmon I have ever had. 100% recommend, the spicing on it is just perfect.

I will be back for more!

Superb beverage selection. Very laid back atmosphere. Food is incredible. I went with the meatloaf and it was the best decision I made food wise the entire time I was in the area. Prices are fantastic too. An absolute must.

Simply Fabulous. Service was excellent and food very decent. Top recommendation. Would come back anytime. Outdoor seating with nice view on the little River and water Cascade.

Best wings period. Cold drinks and the rest of the meal was very tasty. Our server was awesome.

We randomly chose Lisa G's while visiting the area and we're so glad we chose this restaurant! Staff was warm from the start (front door) to finish (waitress and busboy), and despite being seated after a large party of about 10 patrons (and amidst a pretty fully-seated restaurant and robust bar crowd) we didn't wait long for anything. And the food! Absolutely fantastic! We tried the calamari based on online reviews and we were not disappointed. Our main courses were varied for a family of three and everything was great! AND we saved room for dessert, which was sublime. The care, skill and experience of the culinary staff earns well-deserved kudos! If you plan to visit the area, I highly recommend Lisa G's.

My favorite restaurant in all of Lake Placid, NY. The restaurant s atmosphere alone makes the visit worth it. The food is modern, priced well, and delicious. If you happen to be in the area, check them out!

Great menu especially if you don't eat meat or chicken, lots of choices. If the weather is good try and get a table outside beside the river. Yes, get reservations, walk ins when we were there could be an hour wait even at 5:30pm. Great staff! Thanks for the covid precautions, we appreciate it.

Great vegetarian options and a friendly staff. Yummy food!

The food is very tasty and affordable! Menu has a nice variety of dish available. Laid back ambiance. There is also a pub area where you can drink fresh beer on tap and watch some sports! The quality of the service was really excellent, fast and helpful! We recommend! Make sure that you order some of their local brew fresh beverages!

Lisa G's is one of my go-to Lake Placid dinner stops. I've always had a good meal here.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and the staff were fantastic. We witnessed two particular instances where staff went out of their way to help customers feel more comfortable.
They have a couple gluten free options as well.
The most memorable, positive experience wasn't part of the restaurant but begs to be mentioned. We were there with our four young daughters after hiking that day. The restaurant was more expensive than we usually go to but we were tired, hungry, and had a four hour drive ahead of us. At the end of our meal a couple that had been sitting near us complimented our well behaved children and left. We soon learned that they had paid our entire bill!! We were told his name is Ralph. Thank you!! We will pass it on.

Menu looked great. Had the shrimp tacos which were tasty. Football games playing. Friendly owner and staff.

You have to have a mango margarita when you visit! The staff are always friendly and the good is great!

This was a good place to eat. However, while I was waiting to be seated and talking to a member of my group another lady who was also waiting started to argue with me about Korean Barbecue. I wasn't even taking to her, but she felt it necessary to tell me how she thought I was wrong. At first I thought she was kidding, but no. The food was good, but I can honestly say that I will probably never eat here again.

The food and service are always first rate. They have excellent choices on the menu and the specials outstanding as well. Service and staff are very good. All in all.. a very pleasant dining experience at a family friendly restaurant that is soft on your wallet. Highly recommend!

Adequate. Lots of vegetarian options to choose from but a real lack of flavor and seasonings. Plenty of cocktails and not too much of a focus on the beer selection. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.

This place has such friendly staff, amazing food and great bar! I will definitely rgo back here again and recommend anyone going here to have the calamari.

Better than average food that is more unique than other bar/restaurants in town. I had a Morrocan Burrito and my buddy had a chicken bacon BLT.

Had the chicken cheese steak wrap special and it was amazing.

Good food. Sat on the enclosed porch and it was warm and not stuffy feeling. Waitress was great.

Came here twice, sampled a variety of the menu. It's okay, but not 5-stars outstanding. Food is definitely overrated - it was about average, nothing special at all.

Fish fry was amazing, hendrix gin was pricey although a very nice pour for the sticker price.

Brazilian cocktail and Brazilian meal were good. Subtle but good. No spice to it but still cooked well. Mahi tacos however, canned tuna dried out and put in a tortilla. Used my balsamic dressing to help drag it down it was that dry.

Variety of dishes. Too much food! Skip the chips and salsa, but just ask for the salsa haha

My family and I came up on Saturday and were treated like absolute royalty by a gentleman whose name I regretfully forgot. Of all the places we patronized on our weekend get away, this place had the best ambience, the best service, and the best food. We were so impressed, we went back the very next day. The Tuna wrap special was delicious, the desserts were incredible (The Lemon pudding is amazing!) and even the drinks were well prepared. Shout out to their staff!

Good service, good food! Interesting mix of cuisines including Vietnamese, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and American. Would definitely go back.

Amazing food and location. So many awesome options on the menu and everything I try is excellent. Chicken nachos and maple bourbon wings are two of my favorite. We always sit on the patio which overlooks a gorgeous dam and bring our dog. It's great (and a bit rare) that such a nice place is so welcoming to dogs. We go more than once when visiting Lake Placid and I always recommend it to others in the area. It's extremely consistent. Best restaurant in the area!!
