Customer Service Agents are hateful. Act like they don't want to work and not very friendly. Poor communication skills. Email responses with 4 or 5 words. They've at least resolved my issues & questions in the past. I'd like to do more business with Lionel but need to call them if I want the Wooden Display case which is inconveniently no listed for online purchase. I refuse to accept their attitudes toward customers and keep giving them hard earned money. Having worked in Customer Service in the Air Force, you know from common sense how to treat customers.

It be nice after spending $70 on a diecast to GET IT OUT OF THE BOX!! This is absolutely ridiculous that every time I purchase one of these that I can't get it out and have to destroy the box, do you even listen to collectors who are the ones that are buying your products? These boxes suck and I know everyone has complained for 2 years but yet Lionel doesn't acknowledge it, thanks for that

Awful quality, prices, and customer support. Cancelling orders is an absolute pain, quality of diecasts are terrible based on prices. Cars have chips, broken chassis, wheels uneven, etc. Employees online take forever to respond, and employees in the store have no idea what s going on. For a $50-$150 car I expect better than what I can buy at Walmart from Jada Toys for $20. The 10 most recent cars purchased from them have had defects. 5 of the 10 were the same car, just return shipping and getting a new one. Wasn t until the 5th that it was almost fixed (chassis is still broken, but no chips) Amazing how they are still in business.

Horrible experience, order over $500 in cars with and 3 come broke and one scratched. Call Lionel and they exchange 3 luckily they had those but one is sold out. So basically it's send the car back or deal with it. Before that I ordered a car they send me the wrong finish again sold out and they tell me basically to send it back or deal with it. No willing to go the extra mile for the customer Poor customer service all the way around. I will be sure to cancel my other 23 orders I have pending for this year. Shop from your local diecast stores they appreciate you much more than lionel does.

Terrible company to do business with. I have been in the hobby 20+ years and never have been treated so poorly. They have quality control issues that they refuse to address and have started shipping product out with no padding in a flimsy box. They blocked me from their social media pages for sharing pictures of what they send out to customers. I first joined RCCA in 1997, and am ashamed that this is what the hobby has become since Lionel bought Action. Their corporate leadership is thin skinned and apparently can t handle criticism to the point where they silence anyone who shares pictures of their handywork with other customers. Don t ever do business with these people. I ve helped pay these bums salaries for years, and this is how they treat a longtime customer.

So rude! I call to ask a question that 2 operators have told me to keep calling and I'm dismissed as a snobby answer. Your company told me to call and ask twice as they often come in early. But this operator dismissed me didn't even look them up like the others did. Horrible customer service rep.

We placed an order on October 15th from Lionel in NC for a train set for our grandson. I called October 31st and was told it would ship "tomorrow morning". We still had not received the train on November 12th so I called and was told they would ship it "tomorrow morning". I told them to cancel the order that I was told that before. It is now December 27th and we are still waiting for the credit to my charge card of the $317.99 they charged speedily on October 15th. I recommend ordering from Amazon. They had the train at my door in 2 days. Still waiting for our refund.

Worked here in the warehouse and our boss began treating us very poorly and fired all of us temp employees after he found out he had cancer. I felt bad for him but we worked really hard for him and we were just let go without warning etc. The place is pretty small and the workload fell on us temporary employees while some permanent ppl would relax and go get alcoholic drinks during lunch hour. Oh well, they sell decent trains and die-cast nascar cars etc.

Disappointed in Lionel. After receiving an email stating both of my items had shipped, I received another email two days later stating one item was out of stock and would have to be refunded. I attempted to cancel the whole order because I wanted both items together and was told I couldn't because one item had already been shipped.

Ordered a car on 5/30 and still haven t received a...

Ordered a car on 5/30 and still haven t received any communication on the order 6/12. I called to find out why and they stated my credit card declined the purchase, even though I received a confirmation email on my order?!? I m a 38yr old NASCAR fan ordering a $75 Austin Dillon CC600 car for my bar during a pandemic, I m very surprised to hear my card declined.... No communication about this, even though they have my email and phone # in the profile they had me fill out online. It took me calling them 3 weeks later to find out they closed my order out. Customer service told me to go back on and try to reorder, so I did on 6/15 using my debit card this time, I still don t see any charge to my account and I have very low expectations that I will ever receive my order. This company seems very disorganized and unprofessional and could care less about getting business$
