Lovely place. Great rooms with views of the racecourse. Great day out.
Did fireworks and dinner great time .. Lots in the evening to do for us and the kids plus the fireworks
We stayed here for one night while visiting the area. The hotel is right by the race course so would be perfect if you were coming to see the racing! Check in was quick and efficient. The room was very comfortable with views over the race course and the usual massive Marriott bed.
We ate out elsewhere but breakfast was very good. I wish we could have stayed longer to make more use of the facilities! Only downside is the aircon was a bit noisy but otherwise it was a nice stay.
Great hotel and staff! Be aware, the place is a maze and maybe just me but easy to get lost.
Great Venue for the races as always but this was an indoor Antiques sale and it worked very well
Don't do it to yourself you get better service pitching up a tent.
Had a nice stay and the horse racing was on when we were there as well.
Uslaual Marriott standard. Restaurant is great. Awesome food
Lovely staff , room was nice size , beds very comfortable, good facilities available such as spa and pool but we didn't use them . Unfortunately the seat in the room was dirty ( see pictures) a chipped sink and mould in the bath/ shower area - so only 3 stars .
Hotel was perfect as was the spa. The golf course I would describe as a typical hotel golf course where more investment is needed.
Hotel stay and staff was fantastic, however the breakfast downstairs was a bit limited and of poor quality. Dinner options are also limited with barely any vegetarian dishes. I had the sense it was unorganized the morning i was there (one week ago Saturday) during breakfast, no idea why there's no coffee for guests to grab, instead you need to ask a water for a coffee and they bring you black coffee with seperate milk which just tastes bland and wait ages for it, what's the point. Bread was stuff you find at your local supermarket (sliced and of poor quality), it would have added much more value if it was fresh bread with more options. Dissapointed with breakfast overall for a Marriott Hotel.
This hotel is probably perfect if you're a racing fan. If you're not, then it's not very close to anything else and at the time of our visit, was very busy with people who were drinking a lot and quite loud.
I was surprised there wasn't any coffee shop or access to food and drink other than the (busy and full of racegoers) bar and restaurant. I ordered an afternoon tea with tea and scones in the absence of anything more straightforward and in need of a snack and I'd finished the scones with no sighting of my tea, which I had to ask for eventually.
The room was comfy if a little dark with a slightly yeasty smell in the bathroom. The net curtains had a couple of what looked like dead bugs on them and were in need of a wash.
The pool was lovely as was the jacuzzi. Towels available for use and a good changing and shower area. Availability of hair conditioner wasnt on offer and would been lovely but the addition of bags to put wet bathing suits in was a great idea. There was some mould in the shower than needed sorting out.
All in all it seems like it's been a better hotel in the past and it's in need of a bit if TLC. It's priced a little above it's present standard.
Great breakfast and lovely staff.
Narrow and short course and boggy. Love play it in summer.
Excellent rooms. Nice spa and a great golf course if you're straight off the the tee.
Loved the hotel, room was immaculate, pool small but kids really liked it. Breakfast was lovely, perhaps a larger selection on the continental front but not enough to hold it back.
Let down by rude manager Amy Smith. She was arrogant, mocked other customers, refused to listen and did not have a face mask. I m shocked somebody so unprofessional is able to represent Marriott. She ought to think about the way she speaks to people who pay her wages and apply make up in a more professional way. It might work for shirley on eastenders but it s not professional.
Rooms need updating asap old carpet old feel old cloth chair but nice staff. spa is tiny mold in shower stalls but workers great... 5 night... jacuzzi is just a hot tub like for a home....tiny... Good food at restaurant good restaurant staff enjoyable....VIEWS AND LIVE RACES ...AMAZING
Long cold walk to parking lot so drop luggage off first
went to public stamp auction very nice venue clean and socialable
If you have any dietary requirements and is attending a function or large company dinner, eat before hand. You will be hungry.
Really lovely reception/bar staff but unfortunately very average day spa experience - rushed treatments and small facilities - gets crowded if more than 4 people are around. Wouldn t recommend or go again.
In overall the hotel was good. Breakfast was nice except scrambled eggs, too much cream, however you can order any eggs on request. Hotel room was nice overlooking the racecourse. Location is good.
The venue is nice, if a little bit quaint. The decoration is dated, at least the room that I visited. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly and professional.
Just add the most fantastic weekend at Lingfield, very clean good food.
Stayed overnight as friend had an appointment at near by eye hospital
Went for racing, bars very very busy and expensive.
Stayed at this hotel three times now. I have always enjoyed my stay.
Loved it comfortable easy to find parked car really well friendly staff helpful and provided a good service with gluten free food and quiet rooms could not heat people was lovely would stay there again happily.
Could be a stunning hotel but is very tired looking. Could do with a revamp.
Quiet, great location for the races. Easy access to Gatwick airport.
First time at the Races , had an amazing time and won loads and also Take That tribute act night. Brilliant fun day and night.
Very friendly and supportive staff. Good breakfast and dinner ! Very nice view of race course.
The hotel overall is lovely. However I found the room not as clean as I would expect. Toothpaste marks on the glasses in the bathroom. Also I requested featherless pillows on arrival, only to be told there was only one available. However the desk said they would sort it for the next day. I asked again several times and still only had one featherless pillow. The air conditioning didn t work, the only way to cool my room was to turn it off and open the French door.
Friendly staff, comfy beds. Overall really impressed.
Beautiful hotel set right on Lingfield race track with views over it. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful, definitely one of my favored hotels. Would highly recommend a stay whether it be for business or pleasure
I enjoyed a good three days of golf here and the Hotel gave good service
Alright, lovely friendly and helpfull staff, except the security people, they were quite rude.
Excellent facilities, superb knowledgeable staff. Brilliant food in the Restaurant and awesome Cocktails, with speedy friendly service at the Bar! Lovely hotel, well worth the journey!
Great place to stay, restaurant has good food but poor service.
Super staff. Good food. Flexible people willing to help. Boys in the starter hut first class. Informative. Professional. I've been organising golf days for 25 years. Thus place is right up there with the best. The course???? Awesome. Fandabidosa. You don't need to be long to score well but accurate off the tee, oh yes. We'll be back. Great all round product, up there with Cowdray Park. You won't be dissappointed. Tony Perrin.
Clinical. Staff could be more welcoming. Don't like that they hold security deposit on your card even when you've paid upfront.
Great service, really looked after us well. Only issue was the rooms heat the Aircon was either way to strong or not. But aside from that was really happy with my stay
Night racing followed by Kylie tribute... amazing evening. Book hospitality table with afternoon tea ...Perfect ladies day . Drinks Very expensive. But for a special evening.. Amazing..
Lovely day at the races lovely food at trackside - silks restaurant
Went there for an antique fair and it was very good.
We were at the racecourse which was beautiful. The horse racing was well organised. The food in the hospitality suite was bland. Staff were nice though. Overall an average venue.
Superb spa , great views, rooms and customer services
Sadly not a good experience this time
We are frequent visitors and felt things have been slipping for a while and this time we had friends with us
A great hotel with some fantastic views, if you get the right room.
The staff at reception and around the hotel were a little stuffy and weren t hugely helpful.
First visit to the races, evening meeting, good fun lots of friendly people, food quite expensive, easy place to get to, lots of parking.
Went there for horse racing, had a great afternoon!
Unfortunately everything was a bit run down, mold in the bathrooms is normal, the sauna has max 60 degrees, wifi underground lame and an empty mini bar. The house has seen better times, unfortunately not appropriate for the price.
Love the bar set up and very curious staff.
Went there for a meeting and very impressed w just th the whole place
It was an ok experience and day out. But food and drinks were expensive.
Beautiful hotel with a lovely balcony view, nice small spa as well
Alway a professional and enjoyable stay. Great views over the racecourse. Staff excellent.
