We drove up from Mississippi to buy this car (2018 Mustang GT Premium). I couldn t have asked for a better experience! This was my first time to buy a car sight unseen, and it was just a little stressful. But Lexi was very knowledgeable and patient with all my emails and text messages, and made the whole process painless! Everyone was courteous, kind and attentive. The car and paperwork were ready for us, and we were back on the road in record time. Thank you to everyone at Lindsay Ford!

My car buying experience at Lindsay Auto was great! My salesman, Boye Adeleye, the finance guru, Alex Hagos, as well as the receptionist, were all exceptionally professional and communicative from the beginning to the end. My salesman even went the extra mile and drove to another Ford dealer to get me the exact color and style (stick-shift, sunroof and black) 2019 Ford Fiesta of my liking. I m a happy customer. Thank you Lindsay Ford and all the staff persons who assisted in making my buying experience a joyful occasion.

I went to this place to buy a 2019 ford transit.
I provided the stock number for the vehicle I wanted. They said yes we have it. Then the sales person asked me if I'm willing to take it home the same day. I said yes if i get a good deal. I asked about the internet price listed on their website. She said not everyone get these prices because people need to qualify for incentives.
They brought the van over an I noticed that it was not the vehicle I requested. I was looking for a high roof extended one. They brought a high roof regular. When I asked about the extended one they said this is it. We do not sell anything bigger. I told them I know ford sells bigger cargo Vans. She kept saying we do not sell anything bigger. I just told them that I will come back a different day. I went to a different ford dealership the next day and I got the one I wanted.
This was a very bad experience.

Review is for the service department: I had three issues: hot AC, poor electrical connections in the driver's door, and a seat motor that didn't work. It would have cost $390 just to look at the issues. $130 each issue! You know what's crazy? They weren't joking! Go across the street to the Sunono garage. They fixed it all for $254.

I had one of the worst car buying experiences of my life. I am over 50 years old and this was not my first car buying experience. HOWEVER, I shall NEVER, EVER purchase a car from them again. This was the second car that we bought from them in six months. The salesman is a good guy, but the sales manager was quick talking, high pressure and not someone with whom I will ever do business again.

I can't say how many phone calls I had to make to them to get them to return money that they overcharged me and two months later I am still waiting for my tag transfer.

This was the worse new car buying experience in my adult life.

Especially if you goin in for service, and want a rent a car boy do they give you the run around. Especially when you have too keep taking time off for work, and it was a recall for your vehicle. Fair warning think twice about Lindsay Ford in Wheaton md, at least please do your homework. This happened 6/19/2017.

One of the worst dealerships I ever been too. I brought a Edge from them and was promised certain things. Since the previous manager isn't there they wont honor what they were supposed to take care of. If I would have known what I know now I would never brought an American SUV. The salesperson Tom Squire was good when i brought the truck after then when i started having issues he brushed me off and say they cant take care of it because i should have got it in writing. He knew about all the issues and the previous manager told him to make sure i got the work taken care of. Once I brought the truck it took me 2 wks to get in my possession and took 1 month to get the mats for the truck. I regret ever buying a Ford truck because they have the worst customer service and not genuine to the customers. I spoke to the new manager and his wasn't any better then Tom. This dealership took my money and don't want to honor there part of the deal. Anyone I know that is interested in purchasing car or truck I will make sure they won't buy a Ford and most definitely not Lindsay . Spoke to the used car manager Tim Lee was no help with the issue. Basically he only wants to give me a detailing for my truck. If I was purchasing a new vehicle they would make sure I am happy but since I already brought the vehicle they could careless if I am happy or not.

Does not honor prices offered through Truecar if you have additional incentives. They bait and switch products as well as switch teammembers to attempt to confuse. I had an internet sales person who I negotiatied with and constantly asking for me to come in. When I finally came to test drive I was passed to a salesperson with no experience. Only 4 months who fumbled through the whole experience only for the internet sales person to show up once I was leaving. Upon my second arrival to close the deal with my negotiated price the internet sales person was off. He knew my appointment and did not insure the agreement was clearly executed. The inexperienced sales person had to get a so called sales manager who essentially came out and disclaimed everything which was negotiated. Not a good experience for do they offer the lowest or best price as they will taunt. Well they offer the price to get you to come in but once you arrive go back to the standard old school wheel and deal the sale as high as they possibly can. They even tried to tell me the taxes are assessed on the price of the vehicle prior to the actual price you pay.

I bought a used car from this dealer and they were more than willing to give me the best deal possible. If your in search of a new or used car I would definitely check them out. The lady That assisted me was named Maribel Rosales if you plan on stopping by you should send her an email and she will set you up with an appointment for a test drive and have the car you are interested in ready when you arrive.

My Service advisor was Robert Ryan but I never met him. The gentleman who attended me blatantly lied to me and purposely put the wrong vehicle on file in order not honor my oil change covered by warranty. I don't trust them therefore will never come nor recommend anyone to come here.

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt wit...

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I purchased my 6th Ford (first time at this dealership) and was persuaded to buy a maintenance plan for around $900. I was told I could keep-up with my car's maintenance at ANY Ford dealership. After my first oil change I learned that wasn't the case and have been in the process of canceling this agreement to receive my money back for the past THREE MONTHS. When I call the person that deals with this is NEVER there. I have written her e-mails and never received a reply. I have left messages with multiple finance-workers, even the receptionist, and have yet to hear back. I went to the dealership once to confront this in person. Again, the person in charge of dealing with this cancelation was not there and after waiting for 40 minutes to speak to somebody I was assured this issue would be resolved. IT HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. I would never recommend this dealership to anybody, and I will never buy another Ford again.
Extremely disappointed.
After receiving a reply appologizing for my bad experience and giving me an e-mail to contact Ms. Ruth Aguilar to seek resolution, it has been a MONTH and I am still waiting for a reply to my e-mail. Will be contacting corporate and I hope I get a resolution once and for all

After waiting three hours at the dealership, I was signing a full price check to purchase the vehicle, when I was told I had to pay an additional $500 unless I financed through Ford Motor Credit. When I declined, David Sperau, Pre Owned Sales Manager, refused to sell me the vehicle.

I went in to see a Prius advertised for $12,500. I took a test drive, then sat down to talk about price, thinking I'd probably end up buying it. Then the bombshell. Ysser, the sales person asked me if I'm in the military, then told me "The 'Internet price' includes the military discount.

Astonished, I told him clearly that I would start negotiating from the price they advertised, but they refused to do this. Instead, they offered me the car for thousands more than their advertised price, plus added on a fee of $995 for preparing the car to sell, and a few hundred more that I think was for paperwork. All of this was in addition to the expected cost of title and taxes.

By the time I gave up and walked out, they still were asking more than a thousand dollars over their advertised asking price. In short, I wasted a substantial amount of time because I believed their dishonesty.

Our experience at Lindsay Ford was wonderful. Although it was an extremely long day Sarah worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were able to leave in our new dream car. Troy was our salesman and he was helpful as well but Sarah went above and beyond and even stayed late to make sure everything got squared away and we left feeling very comfortable and excited with out new purchase. I would recommend Lindsay Ford to anyone searching for their new vehicle.

These people are never on time. They give you an appointment, you show up on time, then hours later they tell you there is some delay, they are backed up and they won't get to you. Then you go there again, and again they don't get to you. Never when I have gone there has my car been done on time, nor has it been serviced as scheduled. Now I need them again and I had to call three times to even get someone to answer. When I drove over there and pulled into service to talk to someone, right outside the service door, a chirpy young man assertively approached e when I rolled down the window to ask for help and immediately asked if I was there to sell my vehicle, instead of listening to what I needed. They suck. They are not about service here.

I had an awful experience with them. I was told that they had a Fiesta with lots accessories for a significantly cheaper price than I found at any other dealer in the Washington/Baltimore area. I arrived late at night in a car that was essentially dead on arrival, so I needed to a buy a car right there and then (the cost to fix my previous car was more than the actual value of the car). Of course, the car I was planning on buying was not in the lot, but they had one with less features for a lot more money than what I was quoted. I was also told that the car I purchased had several features which, unfortunately, were not included in the car. I did not realize this until after I purchased the car. At that time, it was really late and the store was closed. I called the next day to complain, but nothing happened. About a month later and after a lot of complaining, I finally got the radio which I was told was originally included the car. The dealership acted as if they went out of their way to do me a huge favor. They didn't. I would not recommend going there for anything.
I should also note that immediately after I bought the car, it had to be in the shop. I was told it would take a few days to repair, but it took nearly 2 weeks; the radio, which was supposedly such a great concession to me, also did not work properly. I had to go back to the dealership to get it re-installed.
It's not worth the hassle. Just go somewhere else.

This dealership does not honor their listed prices ! My husband and I were looking to buy one of their 2021 F250s and after getting the run around the GSM called to tell us we didn t qualify for that price. He hasn t taken anything from us except our name and phone number but is able to tell us we don t qualify for the price they ve listed. Definitely wouldn t trust a company that list fake prices just to get your attention! We will gladly take our $70k somewhere else!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lindsay Ford!!!! From the first and immediate phone response I recieved from Mr Reggie Mack to ending a long evening with the Finance Manager Mr. Parks. It was a dream come true!!! Mr. Mack is an excellent Salesman with a real heart and understanding when it comes to the needs of the average consumer. I came in, a little nervous...but knowing what I wanted. Mr. Mack listened, understood and made it happened.
He was able to crunch the numbers and work with what I brought him. He AND Lindsay Ford of Wheaton are tops on my list and I'm telling everybody!!!!!!

Very negative experience today... I called the day...

Very negative experience today... I called the day before to confirm the price, informing them I'd pay cash.

Upon arriving, they told me there was a possibility they already sold the car. Magically they found it, and shared a strange story that someone in New York was coming down to get it today.

After test driving and getting ready to buy, they informed me that there would be an additional $2,000 surcharge for NOT financing with them despite previously confirming the price as a cash payment. They also added a ~$3,000 "product" fee for it being CPO.

This is the kind of experience I dreaded. Classic bait and switch. Safe to say, I was easily able to find another dealer who was up front about pricing.

Being a young college student with high student loans, and with a server income, Lindsay Ford provided for a truly memorable & wonderful experience in purchasing my first "big girl" car, which was a 2008 Hyundai Elantra for a great price. My salesman, Avan Harris was full of integrity and extraordinarily helpful, friendly, personable, and patient with me & all my questions. Tim, "the finance guy" was also fun & very helpful in explaining all my inquiries with a great attitude and honesty, which is very important to me. Overall, in a normally tedious & boring process with car purchase paperwork, I had an absolute blast with these guys. I will definitely be referring any of my friends looking for a great affordable car & an awesome customer experience! Thanks so much!

On Monday I was referred by a friend to check out Lindsay Ford. When I walked in I was immediately greeted with friendly welcoming from a sales associate by the name of Boye Adeleye. Throughout my time and visit there Boye was very professional, patient, and considerate. I did not at all feel any sense of "sales" pressure, instead I felt his genuine interest to help me find a vehicle that fitted my needs & preference. By the end of my visit I walked out of Lindsay Ford with a car I'm satisfied with and a wonderful customer service experience that I would highly recommend to any friend in search of dealership & representative to purchase vehicle from. I found that I was charged $3500 more then it was explained to me, they made it sound easy at the monthly payment and once you don't realise the raise the price by $3500.
I advise everyone to check the final $$$ amount before sing the final.

I bought a brand new 2021 Ford bronco from this dealership yesterday and they snuck in a maintenance contract (Blue oval certification) for $1800.I also didn t receive rear floors mats for my vehicle. I told my salesman Tom Squire not to wash the car a couple times and he said he wouldn t. Upon receiving my vehicle I noticed a lot of scratches and swirls from not being washed properly. I m also missing rear floors mats for a brand new vehicle. Not sure if this is common practice when buying from from Ford but I have bought from at least 6 dealerships before and they all had floors mats. The blue oval certification also said I received an all weather floor mats which I never received. I would not recommend buying a car here. I spoke to the finance manager over the phone (Michael Lopes) and he said he went over it with me which is a lie. I only agreed to the GAP insurance. He then said they can t remove the blue oval certification for 90 days. If you read the reviews on Yelp is looks like this is a common tactic used by this dealership.I never write reviews but this dealership deserves 0 stars. My car salesman Tom Squire knew nothing about the vehicle because it was brand new and I had to figure it out my self. I also called corporate to let them know about my horrible experience. I have owned a Toyota, Scion, Honda, Chevy, Infiniti, Audi and Porsche before and so far Ford was the only dealership that gave me a horrible experience. I doubt I ll be buying from Ford again after my experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My experience at Lindsay Ford was excellent. I worked with Doug Jackson who gave me and my wife his full attention. He respected our intelligence and didn't try to sell me with silly cliches. Instead he listened to what we wanted and tried to satisfy us completely. Once we determined the correct car, Steve Waldron (the sales manager) worked with us to structure a fair deal. Steve was also very respectful and in the end, all of us were happy. I highly recommend the dealership and seek out Doug Jackson to work with you.

Bought a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 from them and the back door was acting up from the beginning. Whenever I would call for help on how to get it fixed I got nowhere and the people on the phone were so rude. Finally took it to Toyota where they told me the bar behind the bumper was bent and to bring it back to Lindsay Ford. I brought it back and the manager said it has nothing to do with the bent bar and said that even with a maryland inspection no one would of noticed it, mind you if you lay on the ground you can see the bent bar. Some of the rudest people when you actually try and get your vehicle fixed.

I had the worst sales encounter of my life at Lindsay Ford of Silver Spring on 8/15/2020, because of a person by the name of Ariel Sandy (male clerk).
I had originally intended to purchase 3 vans at Lindsay Ford of SS but eventually purchased those 3 vans at a different dealership. However, because of the excellent customer service displayed by Anthony B. and Ludwing in a previous multi-purchase transaction a couple months ago, I opted to purchase one more van at Lindsay of SS.
When I arrived at Lindsay Ford to complete my purchase, I was approached by Ariel Sandy who proceeded to berate me for not purchasing the 3 vans I had originally planned on purchasing. He also accused me of using them to get a better deal at Sheehy Ford. I was literally in shock at this allegation, considering I spent well over $75,000 at this location just a couple months ago.
I found myself explaining to this angry man that I went with Sheehy Ford Gaithersburg because the vans they had offered included features that the vans at Lindsay Ford did not include, and at a lesser price.
This Ariel Sandy person then told me that I had caused the sales rep to work all day for nothing and wasted his time. I sat there in shock at how uncouth and unprofessional Ariel Sandy was. I apologized and mentioned how I was still intending to purchase a medium roof cargo van, but he responded by asking me if I would try to get a good deal from another dealership. I told him that I was physically there to purchase the van and that if he could have it ready in 30 minutes I would leave with the van. He said that was not possible. I then told him I would not waist him time any further. He then yelled at me Have a good day .
I am still in shock at my encounter with this seemingly unmannerly and unprofessional person. He made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. No customer, and especially no woman should ever be treated the way Ariel Sandy treated me. I have no doubt that if the customer was male and closer to his size (5 times my size), he would have never treated them the way he treated me.
Women beware! If you have to deal with Ariel Sandy, my advise is to have a companion with you because the type of anger displayed by Ariel Sandy was not in the least bit normal.

About as good as it gets buying from a large dealership. As to be expected, hours of back and forth negotiations, but at least they provided lunch. Vehicle cleanup and delivery could have been better. Other than that the sales staff were professional and kind.

Sheehy and should have stayed there instead of going to Lindsay. They brought a transit van from VA to MD that did not have Bluetooth which was one of the top two items requested. Was told they could not install that so now it is at radio shop being installed. Make sure if u have any customizations done that you get the price in writing, then u can do your homework or negotiate. When adding shelving units, ladder racks, blue tooth or cab divider, make sure that you have a commercial product salesman to advise and work with you.

My sales rep was Tom Squire. A phenomenal employee but better than that, a phenomenal gentleman. He took great care of me, while also exhibiting tremendous patience and empathy. I would highly recommend him to future, potential clientele. Tom is, without a doubt, one of the longest standing employees of Lindsay Ford and it is profoundly clear that he still loves what he does and the customers he does it for. Tom is one of the best and I give him my highest endorsement.

I purchased a 2016 Kia Forte-5 from Lindsay Ford this past weekend. My salesman Mr. Dabo was friendly and patient. Initially I was a bit hesitant because of the add-on fees but Mr. Dabo convinced me and made sure we got a deal that is agreeable to both. I haven't found time to drive the car much. Hope that it doesn't have any issues and Lindsay will fix it under the blue oval warranty if there are any.

Very pleased with our experience here! Purchased a new truck and were assisted by Hakeem and Sarah. We knew exactly what we were looking for going in and Hakeem took us directly to it. Sarah was very knowledgeable about finances and gave us multiple options that fit our budget, explaining each one thoroughly. Offered some discounted services with our purchase. All of the sales staff was very personable as we were waiting on the paperwork. Great service on all ends.

After taking my Ford Mustang 2013 to a couple different places where the first place misdiagnosed the issue and the other was suggesting a complete overhaul. At Lindsay they diagnosed the problem correctly and I have been very happy with the amount they charged and the outcome. Emerson was a great advisor.

Went in for a seat belt recall. The idiot light went on as predicted by Ford and they can deploy without warning. After repair the light was still on and I asked if the system was fixed correctly. I was assured it was and was to to diagnose the problem it would ONLY cost $180. I got the feeling that the diagnosis would point to something they had done and I would end up paying for a repair that was not needed.

I have learned not to trust Ford repairs since my truck had warped break disks in less than a year and was told it was a wear item. Unknown to me at the time it was a common problem with those vehicles. They then proceeded to cut my disks below specification (ie dangerous) without telling me. Did not find out until a year later and had to replace the disks at my own costs.

My next move is to run a diagnosis free at a auto parts place and find the problem via a diagnosis code just like they would do in 10 minutes of work..

This was a pleasurable experience our salesperson Marvin, was friendly & knowledgeable about the vehicle we selected and was great at negotiating our concerns to the managers. The assistant GM was fantastic.. she was straight forward and gave us great payment/finance options to consider. Ms. Pugh in the finance department was courteous as well.

Overall this was a great experience from start to finish.

I had a great experience buying my new car! Kemuel Stewart was very helpful and did not rush me to make a decision. Everyone there was happy to help and it was a Saturday! Very busy! The process of buying a car takes a long time. Everyone answered my questions and listened to my wants and needs for a new car. Great Experience!

It's a mixed bag with Lindsay Ford. I bought a 2015 Ford Explorer Limited and the salesman, Marvin Guzman was great! He even drove the car to my house in Midlothian, VA. The dealership sold me the car which was a CPO car but then added in the cost of the warranty instead of having it in the price initially. Also, the headlight had cracks that were discovered before I took a ride out of the driveway and they never responded as to if that would be a covered repair. All in all, I think you might be able to get a good deal but would go there in person. Marvin is super nice kid (only 22) and I would recommend him. Overall, a fair deal!
