My friend bought a car here and paid cash for it in November of 2015. It is now the end of February, 2016 and he still does not have the title to the car! He drove from Ohio to purchase a car from Maryland. He is a very nice person and even left a nice review for this dealership! And yet - he still does not have his title. He has called numerous times and talked to many different people. His phone calls are not returned and every time he calls, he speaks with someone different who gives him a different answer. In Ohio, a dealership has 45 days to get the title to the customer. Wonder what Maryland's law is because his temporary tags have expired twice and the title is well past the 90 day mark. I dont like it when people's kindness is taken advantage of and my next phone call will be to the Attorney General on his behalf.

P.S. My friend received his title after 4 months of waiting. I will not be calling the Attorney General, but I will not be contacting Mike Engle either. There is nothing that can be done to improve my opinion of your company. There is no reason or excuse to justify waiting that long for a title. If I had a choice of negative stars - I would choose that.

I had a wonderful experience at Lindsay Ford, mostly in part due to Anthony Brearley. On Friday night, he help me set up a test drive appointment for a new Ford Pickup truck the following Saturday afternoon. The test drive was great and Mr. Brearley was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding me the vehicle I wanted. I came in looking to trade in my used vehicle for a new one, but a little hesitant to make a deal. I was offered a great deal for my trade in and walked through all my options for the payment of my new vehicle (including features, packages, etc.) in a timely but thorough manner by both Mr. Brearley and Mr. Michael Lopes who were both extremely helpful and willing to work with me to get the price I was looking for. Even though I did not have everything ready for the trade in hand, the Lindsay team was very kind and accommodating to my needs and helped me to get the deal done the same day I came in to test drive the new truck. I drove off the lot in my new truck within a few hours of arriving and in a wonderful mood due to the positive attitude and support of the Lindsay Ford team. For anyone looking to buy a Ford vehicle in the DMV, I cannot reccomend Lindsay Ford of Wheaton enough.

I didn't intend to buy at that time and was only seeking info on available cars in stock to look at and test drive. I definitely planned to purchase in the near future however. Randy was quite knowledgable regarding the vehicles and did not use any typical car dealer tactics to keep me in the building. I was straight up with hime and I believe he saw that my interest was sincere, but the timing wasn't quite right. He showed me around, allowed me to drive the car in snowy and icy weather and was willing to meet with me and talk with me even on his day off.
Then I me Sarah Byrd, the sales manager. She also seemed to realize that I wasn't prepared to purchase yet but persuaded me to listen to the five major benefits of purchasing today. Ford rebates, a deep discount on the MSRP, unique financing (which suited my financial situation as a retiree perfectly), a government tax incentive (plug-in hybrid), and the highest quote for my trade-in I have been given to date.
For me it was like a perfect storm of opportunities to get the best deal on any car I have ever purchased
Everyone at the dealership was personable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. I visited almost every department parts, service, body shop, car wash, the new car sales floor, etc.
Having moved out of the area, I am glad I did my research online and discovered this dealership. I drove 250 miles from Pittsburgh, Pa. for the purchase and had a great experience and a got a truly terrific deal on the car. Thank you Randy and Sarah for all you did for me.

I bought a car from here just about 2 years ago. At the time, I was young, trusting, in a hurry, but excited because it was my first car. Since then, I have had to have replace the radiator hose, the fuel injector pump, my entire braking system, the temperature gauge flushed, oil leaks, the ETC control, and many other issues. As a close friend of mine said, I was sold a lemon. I have not been happy with this car at all because everytime I turn around, it has to be repaired.

Buying your first car can be a nerve-racking experience especially as a recent college grad. The workers here made it so simple and easy that I felt like a kid in a candy shop! Upon arriving, I was immediately approached by a gentleman named Bryan who made the experience all the more better. I'm not really a car guy so he helped me with every little thing from what I should consider when purchasing, to the fine details of the features each car has to offer and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Bryan spent a lot of time with me going over pros and cons of each of my options and helped me quickly narrow my search based on my needs and specific features I wanted, all while staying within my budget. The staff was rude to my wife and I ,and other staff members, when we brought our 2013 Ford Escape in while it overheated for no reason and didn't have a car to give my pregnant wife and I in exchange. They told us to walk to a metro and go to an airport to rent a car. Absolutely ridiculous and now today I was supposed to get a call on what was wrong with my car that I've now owned for 8 days and no call came. Will never take my car here again.

I'm not sure where to start so I'm going to start here. I had been emailing Lindsay back and forth for a week and told them my situation. When I got there it was as if those emails where pointless because they still wasted my time. I told them through email that I would be trading in my car and they acted as if they didn't know that. So when they finally agreed to do the trade they went to do the appraisal on my car. Well apparently the sales women back my vehicle into another parked vehicle. They did not inform me right away by the way but instead they had me waiting around as if they where trying to figure out the numbers. Then they finally sent a manger in,who was very rude by the way, to tell that they couldn't offer me a deal with the trade and that I should give my car back to the bank. After I turned him down then he proceed to say "oh by the way the sales lady backed your vehicle into another car." He told me that there was minor damage to my rear bumper and that all I needed was a paint job which they offered to do. I am so upset with the service there and would recommend them at all. I am happy that I didn't purchase a vehicle through them. I hope they get better in the future because this was just unacceptable!!

In my experience over the last two weeks, I would not recommend this dealership. I've bought a lot of cars over the years and was very surprised to see that the price offered on their website for the SUV we were looking at was not REALLY the price...for my experience, I spoke with three different people, including a sales manager. When I asked if the "love it" price would be applicable for me, I was first told yes, then no, then probably, but that I would have to actually come into the dealership to go over the numbers in detail.

Again, I understand the process completely, and I understand how every rebate that was applicable would or would not apply in my specific scenario. With that being said, the sales manager literally said he/she was very proud of themselves for pricing these SUVs at the lowest price in the region, but that in order to ACTUALLY confirm that price, I would LITERALLY have to be in their shop...at a day and age where risk management means more than it has in the past, especially with everything going on. I respectfully asked what the OTD price for me would be...I gave them my zip code and information etc. I asked about two SUVs in particular and was told one price and then another. And after they called most recently (a few days ago) and asked if I was still in the market, I said yes. I again asked why the prices for the same MSRPd SUVs were $2,000 different from one another. The employee told me the lesser expensive ones were actually loaner cars...yet nowhere on the site did it say that. The ENTIRE time I just thought they were trying to move the lesser-priced new ones because the dealership had had them for a little longer. Nope.

Again, I'm sure many people have had a great experience. I have not. And more importantly, the lack of TRUE transparency with something like this at a time like this is not something I would recommend to potential buyers.

Horrible experience! Went in with a pre-approval, but was told by Sarah that financing with Ford would qualify us for several incentives, and there was no other way to get these incentives. We agreed to running a credit check for this purpose, and it was approved. After wasting much of our time, we did not make the purchase, as they did not keep their word on what they would give on our trade. Later, I found out that Sarah ran my credit through numerous finance companies (still receiving notices almost daily). One company even sent me a credit card...still trying to figure that one out! I found her to be very unprofessional, and even had to correct her on the tone she used with me. I would never recommend this dealership, but will submit to as many websites as possible. Although they are not BBB accredited, I will be submitting a complaint there also. I have purchased several vehicles, and this was the absolute worst experience ever!

I purchased a pre-owned 2018 Subaru Forester from Lindsay Ford today. Overall I was very satisfied with the interaction from this dealership. Paddy was our salesman and did an excellent job showing us the vehicle and navigating the purchase price. True to car dealership reputation though, the unpleasant aspect of the car buying was still present with this experience due to the interaction with the manager here. In spite of that, I came away feeling like a fair price was reached for a good car. I would ultimately recommend this dealer.

I travelled from out of state to check out a new car and as soon as I told the sales guy that I was already pre-approved through another bank which by the way is one of their lenders the price advertised went up to the original MSRP. Then they tried to get me to take a higher interest rate in order to get close to the advertised price. I took out my pen and paper and did the math right there in front of them (they looked surprised ) and after two finance persons came by to try their luck I ended up leaving and took my business elsewhere. I had already planned on going to 3 dealership while I was in the area and I made it clear and of course they tried to tell me they have the lowest prices in the area. Well guess what they don't. We were in the market for a 7 passengers car and we had several makes we were considering, Ford being in our top 5.

After requesting quotes from some dealerships, we decided to go for a Honda Pilot. When I informed the sales associate at Lindsay Ford of our choice he was very persistent and told me he could get me a great deal on an XLT explorer because they were "practically given away cars"(his words not mine).

Everyone likes a good deal and since we had not purchased the Pilot yet, we decided to go to the dealership to check the car. Long story short, we get there and the price he quoted us online went up by a lot supposedly because a lot of the rebates he applied to the online price were not applicable to us. That is a very deceptive practice. We have 3 kids and that was the whole point of contacting dealerships online because we're very busy. I purposely asked him before coming in if that was the final price and he said "As far as the price goes Like i told you we have an overstock of cars so I am sure my managers will work with you guys when you guys do come in. I will do everything in my power to get you guys the best deal possible".

When we got there he gave us a different price and brought his manager to do all the talking. When we walked out of the dealership, he did not even acknowledged us.

Needless to say I'm glad we took our business elsewhere! We're happy with our new Honda Pilot.

Terrible customer service. There was a typo in my appointment info so the employee decided to take all my info again. Never asked my name or for my phone number to look it up. He asked what was wrong with the car and when I told him he cut me off and walked away. He asked me the error code- then contradicted me and when I said I had a pic of it he said it didn't matter bc the tech would diagnose the problem. He was dismissive, rude and totally opposed to customer service. He asked me to sign a blank estimate and then said it'd be done by 5. The estimate or the work? He was unclear, impatient and accused me of yelling. It wasn't until after I left that I checked yelp - this is just how they roll. Lots of terrible reviews when it comes to service. If I actually get my car back I'll take it up the street to koons. Anywhere but here.

I worked with Eddie Castro to obtain an online quote for a lease on a ford explorer. He was a true professional and kept his word throughout the process. He quoted me an OTD price for a lease and I came with my wife to pick up the car.
Eddie paired us up with Juan Salazar who was extremely knowledgeable and pleasure to work with. He made sure that we knew all of the features the car has to offer and I was impressed by his enthusiasm, and his love for cars.
The entire process was quick and efficient since there was no haggling at the dealership and everything went smoothly. Thank you for the great experience, I will definitely recommend working with Eddie & Juan on your next purchase / lease. I will make sure my company will come to you for our next lease.

Service department. Where to start? I had been side swiped overnight, insurance sent me to them as the suggested place to get the repair. They did the repair; but claimed the windshield was not part of the accident and did not submit to my insurance the cost of the windshield. So, still hasn't been paid and the windshield cracked within 2 months of install randomly overnight even though I had to file a second claim. Called them to get it checked out to see if it should be covered under some sort of warranty. 3 days, no call back. When I picked up my car after the insurance repairs nobody bothered to explain what they had done or take pride in the work. When I took photographs with my phone to line up with the ones from before the accident it was met with 2 people rushing out from the office and pointing out everything that was there before the accident and saying if I had a problem they had pictures. Just wanted a few pictures of my own for my reference. This is probably the worst service I have ever had. So bad I am considering changing my insurance company because all they could do was apologize and say they stood by this shop. Will never take my car there again or buy a car from a place that doesn't take pride in what they do and provide at least average customer service.

Absolutely, the worst Ford dealership ever. My daughter had her car serviced there 4/2017; after talking to a dealer she was comfortable trading her car in for the Ford Explorer. She took the car home and traded her 2013 Ford Escort in. She completed all paper work and they even had a courier come to her job to deliver the remaining paperwork for financing. My daughter is a teacher in Montgomery County a single mom with a three year old son, so she s not able to leave work without prior notice and pulling her child out of school. Long story short in June and July she heard from her former finance company requesting payment for the trade in! She explained that she traded in the car and that she was under the impression that it was paid by Lindsay Ford of Wheaton. Late July she was contacted by LF that they could not get financing and she had to bring the car back well needless to say she was DEVASTED, she retruned to the dealership only to find that no one knew what she was talking about and the person that called was not there and never returned her call. Finally after several promises that they would get her financed they finally said she had to return the car the end of July 2017 and she could take her 2013 Ford Escort back. Fast forward to today her credit is now ruin with her former finance company because her car sat for four months without payment. The General Manager (Jerry Clark) called me and assured me that financing was taken care of that was a BIG LIE! She got her car back with the promise of one month payment and a letter to send the credit bureau to attach to the three credit bureaus. She did receive a check for one month payment $520 but nothing for the other months the car sat on their LOT and NO letter to forward to the credit bureau. This company is unethical it has a BAD Better Business Bureau Credit rating and overall is the worst dealership we have ever encountered. She is now stuck with owing her current finance company $2800 + and now trying to repair her credit. Do your homework before dealing with this company!

The reason is simple as You are welcomed here .

As a average consumer, sometimes the price wasn t the only or main reason that encourage you to make a purchase. Personally, I do think a better customer service matters more. Because when you think about purchasing a car, you are actually not just buying a car itself from that dealership, you are actually also investing on a long-term relationship between you yourself and that dealer. You may purchase some service package with a huge amount of discount on the same day when you purchase your car. Or if that dealership is very close to where you live, you may need to visit this specific dealership to maintain your car for a long run. Then the long-term relationship between you and that dealer matters way more than just a thousand dollars.

I bought my Mustang last week and spent my whole afternoon at here because the final price of the car was actually over my budget. But Boye and Mo really did their job and helped me a lot to find the best option for me to be able to afford my dream car. During the price negotiation, finance options conversation , I felt their efforts and hard work and that s why I finally bought my car from them.

I really hope Sheehy Ford Gaithersburg can learn a thing or two from Lindsay. I wrote another review of same day shopping experience with them. Anyway, if you are looking for Ford brand Vehicle, look for Boye and Mo.

As always, the customer service in this dealership is terrible. I got a call for a recall got to my appointment and there's no recall, so no apology or any type of explanation about the recall call. When arriving, everybody is fighting, they don't even acknowledge you standing in front of them, always with an attitude of anger and dislike. Really bad

Keep in mind, I don t write reviews. I ll sit there and read them like most people but I rarely ever take the time to write one but my experience buying a used truck at Lindsay Ford of Wheaton definitely deserves one.

I worked with Dan Harvey and Vianne Casteel (Sales Associates), both AMAZING! I called about a Ford F-150 posted on the website and it was still available. We setup an appointment and by the time I got there, the truck was already pulled around front ready to go. They walked me thru everything, pointed out all the features and answered all my questions. I took it for a test drive and went back to the showroom to work out the details . Before you know it, I was driving home in my new 2017 Ford F-150 well, it was new to me!!

Whole process only took a few hours. Sales Manager was extremely helpful. No back and forth games, he came over and talked to me directly. He gave me great price for my trade in and worked hard on my deal to ensure I got the loan terms that I wanted. Getting the interest rate and payment down to exactly what I wanted is what ultimately sealed the deal. Also, big thanks to Ludwing Arana (Finance Manager) who walked me thru all my options, answered all my questions and made sure to explained everything in detail Thank you!!

Lindsay Ford is one of the only dealerships that I would personally recommend to family and friends. If you are out shopping for a used car, check out their inventory online and always make sure to do your research. When your ready, give Dan Harvey or Viann a call you won t be disappointed!!

I was not an easy prospect. After a day of driving to dealerships 50 miles away, I stopped at Lindsay. I was exhausted. I spotted Ludwing, introduced myself and I said I want to see one specific car, no need to drive it. I then said here is what I want to pay since I was deep in negotiations with three other dealers. I gave my email and left.

On 5/30/17, I purchased a 2017 Ford Edge from Lindsey Ford. I have received outstanding service from the dealership. This is evidenced by the fact that my service advisor ( John Kernan) always ensures that the maintenance on my vehicle is performed in a timely an effective manner. In addition, my sales advisor ( Tom Squires) calls periodically to check on the status of my vehicle. I will certainly contact Lindsay Ford when I need a vehicle in the future.

I was in the market for a fully loaded 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Originally, I was contacted by Mr. Frank Destefano.
