Lindsay Acura & Lindsay Honda Review

We purchased my DREAM TRUCK from Lindsay Acura!! Although it was not an ACURA, Eric McKee was very knowledgable and informative about the Ford Explorer. We were hoping for a bit more on the trade in, but Eric along with the manager helped us get a better deal and rate than we came in with on the financing side!! I absolutely LOVE my new truck and am more than pleased with the dealership! Did I mention that their service center stays open until Midnight, very convenient!!! Lindsay Acura works hard to get you want you want and better than you want it!! So glad we chose this dealership :-)

Bought a certified tlx and my mistake for not looking very closely and wiping rain off the car to see tons of paint chips all over the hood and sides of car and not getting anywhere with management besides offering a paint pen that obviously is a temporary fix since i had a body shop tell me the day after buying it needs that it needs re painted! Will not go here again or refer anyone

Today I was with a gentleman named Charlie. He was very professional and eager to help us make a purchase. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted to look at. We got the car test drove within the first ten minutes of being there, and began the process of purchasing after I fully inspected the vehicle. Charlie was very eager to make sure things went along smoothly. The only negative thing I could say is it did take a while to get with the man doing the financing, although the man doing the financing got me an amazing low APR rate and was able to give me a great price on warranty. Overall I am very satisfied with my visit. I would highly recommend coming here and giving them a shot. They are very respectful and tentative. Thank you Charlie for your wonderful service today.

I wish that it didn't take 4.5 hours to make a deal. They started out saying that they sell their cars for sticker price. I let them know that I never pay sticker price. After 4.5 hours and I got my payment down by $150 per month. Our credit rating was over 800, so that wasn't the problem. Buying a car shouldn't have to be so hard.

A great car buying experience. Eric was awesome, and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything that I didn't want. Everyone was really friendly. I would defiantly recommend checking them out.

It was very easy experience going to Lindsay to purchase my new to me car. The salesman was very knowledgeable in acuras and told me the difference in the cars that I was looking at. I will definitely be back.

My Girlfriend and I were trying to work out a deal on a used car at this dealership. The Salesmen told her that 24.75 % interest rate was the best he could do, The car was just a little over 13,000, the payment with 1500 down was going to be $427 a month. He said this was a good deal that she needed to build her credit up that he once had the same fate and thought this was normal. Well thank you for lying to us. We left and bought a car at Toyota West just an hour or so later at the same price same year and way less miles on the car with a 16% interest rate. I wouldn't even give you 1 star, but I'm doing so because your horrible deal got us a much better deal at Toyota West. By the way 3 trips to your dealership did show that we were serious buyers. I'd fire you if I was your manager.

Their cars are very expensive compared to other dealers. I don't see myself doing business with them.

Dealer owes me some trade equity , it has been 3 weeks now and I have not received a check. I have called numerous times and received no response. This is my second and last purchase from Linsday Automotive.

I moved to Columbus 2 months ago and desperately needed a car. After going to several car dealerships, I was frustrated by the lack of service and their selection of cars. Then I was advised to go to Lindsay Acura and ask for Shannon Dailey. With no success at the other dealerships, I was in no hurry to try another one. Reluctantly, I went and was pleasantly surprised by Shannon s knowledge, efficiency and attention to detail. I left the dealership as a happy customer and new a car.

Mixed feelings. All looked good, I was interested in used Acura. But before test drive they wanted me to sign agreement for test drive. This agreement said that car is perfect except issues I have listed and I am willing to pay for all damages. And they wanted me to sign before I've seen car. Than I saw the car and had no time to list all dents and scratches. This was 10 years old car! Maybe this kind of agreement makes sense (I don't believe it does) for new cars but definitely not for old ones. I decided to buy a car somewhere else. Few test drives later and nobody else asked me to sign agreement like that...

We just purchased a new 2015 TLX Advance and while the car appears great, the experience at Lindsey was superior. Our sales rep Eric McKee along with his colleagues John and Tom and Dan were superb and available to answer questions. We had no thoughts of purchasing a new vehicle or a sedan rather a used suv. I worked with Shannon Dailey to purchase my Acura MDX. I had set an appointment with him to look at a few sport utilities--I was open to new or used. We looked through the online inventory and picked a few to see. I had to go to an appointment before we were finished and while I was gone--Shannon picked the perfect vehicle for what I needed. He listened to what my goal was and was instrumental in getting me what I needed. Everything went very smoothly.

my most recent visit to Lindsay Acura has resulted in me terminating our relationship after 5 years of religiously attending for recommended service and repairs. in May of 2016, I took my Acura there to have my rear brake calipers, pads and rotors replaced. last week, I went to put my summer tires on and took a look at the calipers and slide pins, finding that one calipers had not been replaced and was not functioning. when I called the dealership to advise of the issue, the service manager immediately attempts to find fault with me, asking why I took the car somewhere else. when I advised that i had a choice of where to take my property, he tried to say that the mileage i had driven in the interim (68K) was likely the culprit. when I gave him resistance, he then converted his rebuttal to blaming me for declining service that had been solicited every single time I took the car there. I immediately returned home to retrieve my receipts and printouts, in preparation for a meeting in-person. when I brought him the broken part and the receipt for May2016 new parts and labor, he looked at the broken part, smirked and said "it's been over a year," like he was holding the antidote in his pocket. he then turned his back. my wife and I will take our Acuras elsewhere.

The process of finding and buying a car at Acura was a very positive experience. The used car selection on the lot included a wide range which saved time. Charlie Davis was great to work with start to finish. There were never any pushy tactics and I always felt that I had an advocate on my side guiding me. It was clear that his priority was my satisfaction. I am very pleased with the car and the customer service through the buying experience. Charlie even worked to meet a few special interests I had with a particular feature and he was able to accommodate. I recommend buying a car at Lindsey to family, friends, or anyone asking.

This is the 4th car I've purchased from you Lindsay H/A ('01 Civic, '01 CL, '05 TL and now '16 MDX). Shannon and the staff make it the easiest buying experience imaginable. I was also looking at Jeeps recently and the experience felt like I was being interrogated. I felt very uncomfortable, I had to watch what I said, I didn't enjoy it at all. On the other hand at Lindsay Acura I have always felt at ease and relaxed. I don't have to worry about anything other than picking out the car that was right for me. Approximately a month ago I purchased a TLX from Sales and Leasing Specialist Chris Capuano. It took me several trips to the dealership to make the decision as I was uncertain as to what model and what color I wanted. Chris did not pressure me to make a quick decision and answered all of my many questions. I had been listening to the River and heard about the great deal they were making on the new Honda's. So I was on my way to Lindsay Honda to look at
the new Honda's. I accidently pulled into the Lindsay Acura dealership and was ready to leave, when Cindy came out to greet me.
When I told her I was in the wrong lot, she
proceeded to ask me what I was looking to do. Before I realized it, I was driving off
the lot with a new Acura.......The process went faster than any other deal I have ever

My salesperson Charlie Davis was absolutely amazing! I didn't have a ride to get to the dealership and he personally came and picked me up. He showed me different cars in my budget to keep my payments low and he didn't try to take advantage of the fact that I was a woman and a first time car buyer! He found me a car specific to my wants and needs and I just love my car! He made my car buying process go off without a hitch! Lindsay Acura is amazing. They have awesome sales people to help you with whatever your needs may be. Greg Erby was our salesman, and he was very professional, and there was no pressure into purchasing a vehicle. If you need a car, I would definitely recommend them. Their finance department is fantastic!

Be very aware if driving from out of town and buying sight unseen or even if you are close. Before heading out with the purchase already complete, I was told more times than I can count by salesperson Tabitha that we "promise" nothing is wrong with the vehicle. 3 miles into my drive home to Buffalo, NY from this dealership in Columbus, the check engine light kicked on. I texted salesperson immediately and she stated that it was the gas cap not being tight and give it a few days, "I promise nothing is wrong" which made sense since the gas cap thing has happened to me before. A week later, check engine still on and after taking it to my local Acura dealership, I need a $1000+ catalytic converter and of course, Lindsay Acura refuses to help at all. I'm convinced Lindsay cleared the code in order to sell the vehicle with "no issues" and what am I to do? I'm in Buffalo, NY so drive 5 1/2 hours back and complain and then drive 5 1/2 back? They know I'm stuck with 0 options so they took advantage. Be very aware when buying here.

Something wrong with this Lindsay Acura dealership. I returned my leased MDX for almost a month and they are still calling me and send me letters to make payments. I had to call them many times and also called the main Acura Financing headquarter to tell them I returned the leased car and they are still calling me over and over and over. I don't know what else to do?
It is a mess. There is no communication between departments. I did not have a good experience with them.

Yesterday I decided to go car buying with my wife and ended up at Lindsay Acura outside Columbus Ohio. While looking at the SUV's I was approached by Tabitha Browning who offered to help me find the perfect match I was looking for. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dan Bornstein is an awesome sales person.
He spent several hours with us and explained everything about the two vehicles we were interested. A few emails later, we finally made it in and got our MDX. The process was painless. Dan then spent an hour going over all of the nav and Bluetooth configuration. It was a sad day to see our 2007 TSX leave, but a great day to drive home our new MDX.

i waited to do this because i wanted time to tell me that i made a good decision and I did. The car works great, The people that worked with me worked great. I had a great day at Lindsay Acura, not only did I get a 2017 Accord Sport, but I met a great guy Zach and he really took his time with me and made me feel totally comfortable in the purchase, no high pressure sales tactics or anything negative. Will never go here again would not even work with me and came back twice and the prices was more than the first time he came out this is not how you deal with someone when you don't want to sell a car. Then you just say it you don't keep coming back with hight numbers.

Their customer service is outstanding. This was my first time ever buying a car from an actual dealership because I am a senior at The Ohio State University. I did not have good enough credit to qualify for the Graduate program that they offer. However, after being denied at least 4 times for financing, Tony Williams went ABOVE and BEYOND to somehow find me a vehicle with $0 down. I was in a VERY tough spot financially and I had the very hard decision of getting another vehicle to finish my last semester at OSU or paying my rent to finish my last semester, but I could not do both. Because of the great people at Lindsay Acura (Tony, Charlie, and Greg specifically), I was able to pay my rent AND get a 2010 Suzuki Kasashi. I am so pleased with my new vehicle and would recommend Lindsay Acura to any and everyone. If I could give them more stars, I would!!!

Chris was very helpful in educating me about how loans are set up, what lenders look for, and what the dealers look for too. He was very conscience about keeping the price and year of the cars I looked at in the range Mitch, the loan officer, told him I was qualified for. He was very patience about me driving different cars and even re-driving a couple to get a feel for the different size cars. He was very willing to keep going back to the finance office until we got the loan to my satisfaction. I would recommend, not only Lindsay Honda to family and friends but I would tell them to ask for Chris. I had an issue with my key fob. The folks in the service department did a fine job of getting the problem resolved. Great customer service on a warranty repair.

My experience was wonderful. Charlie Davis was very thorough and kind. Ask for Charlie when you go in. Lindsay Acura takes care of their people. I compared their prices for vehicles and car pay off with Carmax which normally does well, and they beat them by far. I will go back to Lindsay for my next vehicle.

This is by far the nicest car dealership I've ever dealt with. Genuinely pleasant and helpful staff from the test drive to sealing the deal!! None that pushy, fake "buy this car now" stuff. What a pleasure! Who would have thought buying a car could be so much fun. My salesman Phil was well prepared with all the facts about the vehicle I was interested in and had everything ready for me to review. When I wanted a night to think about it he wanted to know what was holding me back but gave me no pressure. I am extremely pleased with my pre-owned car I bought from Lindsay and I feel my life was enriched working with Phil and Zach (in finance). What a wonderful and professional group of people.

Charlie Davis is a professional and thoughtful (no) pressure salesman. The process for us took several months. Charlie was helpful and understanding through the process. The bonus for us was getting to know Charlie. A man of character and faith. When the time came to purchase the process was seamless and painless.
