We were traveling north and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered hamburgers and then waited for 35 minutes before asking the manager about our food. Shortly thereafter our waitress came to tell us our order was never placed. At that point we got up and left having lost so much time and we re not willing to wait any longer for our order to be cooked.
I just picked up 3 catfish dinners for my family tonight. I have had your fish about 5 times and I can say it is the best food! The coleslaw is very tasty too. As a caterer myself it is good to grab a tasty home cooked meal that I didn't have to prepare. The service at pickup was wonderful as well! Kudos to You Limestone Grille.
Breakfast there with the Kentucky Blue Knights this morning was zillions of miles beyond perfect and we had the prettiest waitress and most handsome server imaginable!!!
Well the food was luke warm and I'm pretty sure they forgot about us. The people behind us came in after us ate and was leaving when we for our food. We were almost late for the show. The place gas good reviews but we weren't impressed. The waitress waa good was dodnt keep us informed about why it was taking so long for our food.
Worst food I ever eat. Asked for a medium stake. I ended up with a rock hard burnt stake. Me an my family will never be back. An the waitress was rude as can be !
the food taste good and all but I've ordered delivery from here 3 times since I moved to town now and every single time my orders have been wrong. Tonight I ordered 2 BLTS one had 2 peices of back and the other had none. Ive given up on this place.
Ben the owner, great guy! Took us around showed us the place. Food scrumptious! Elizabeth our waitress- 21 in 20ish days! Great chick! Too stinkin cute. In town to watch Renegades at Renfro Valley-can t wait to come back!
Delicious, down-home cooking. Definitely try the Hillbilly tacos and onion rings. Fried green tomatoes are made fresh. Definitely will be stopping by again.
It sits on top of a hill overlooking Renfro Valley. From the time you walk in staff are very attentive to your needs . Waitress & waiters are very knowledgeable about the food & services that they offer Meal was hot & desserts were yummy They buy locally from meats to veggies, keeping it local They have outside seating & can accommodate tour buses We eat there every time we go
Restaurant and atmosphere were cool. Very neat location, perched high above the highway and surrounding establishments. However, I was disappointed with the food and my experience.
The restaurant was not very clean, which pushes me away during a pandemic. The floors were sticky like they had not been mopped in a few days. The chairs had not been wiped down with the tables either.
Our server was nice, however inexperienced. She took all of our orders accurately, but she lacked the personal skills and personality you would expect an experienced waitress to have.
Lastly, the food was disappointing. The burgers were overdone and the buns were soggy. The soda was extremely watered down and the cost doesn't make up for it.
The quality of the food varies. Sometimes it is good and sometimes like tonight when I ordered a burger and the meat was smaller than a slider, I brought it to the attention of the delivery driver and she said they probably didn't scale it or maybe they didn't pat it out. My daughters kids burger had more meat on it. The last time I had ordered a burger from here it was great. She said she would see if they could make another and send it out, its been over 2 hours and I am sure they won't be coming. Also my boyfriends chicken for his salad was undercooked. He had to finish cooking it. Also we have waited almost 2 hours for them to deliver on another ocasion.occasion. And on occasion they don't put tomatoes or croutons on salads. Also once we order drinks with no ice so that the ice wouldn't melt on the way. They charged us 2$ packed it full to the brim with ice and it was watered down. So please improve on your quality before I give up on you as an option.
Great prices. Excellent fried green maters. Best I've ever had. Really good cottage cheese for a side item and the hot apple caramel Walnut pie with a scoop of ice cream is soooo good... Make sure you try it. It! Our server was really friendly, nice and attentive. My husband thought his pork tenderloin was the best he'd ever had. We've tried tenderloins in Indiana here and there. They claim they've got good tenderloin but we have to disagree. This one's better. We'll stop in again when we're passing through. Thanks for the good food and good service.
what a wonderful place! headed back down south from a visit home and was looking for a place along the way we could get some good food and rest and we were so pleasantly surprised! such awesome service, good food, and great atmosphere! we will definately be back and recommend this place to others!
This was the worst meal I've ever had at Limestone. We were served salads made completely with brown lettuce and hardly anything else, the ribeye steak was nearly half fat and couldn't be eat and the bread had to be left over from yesterday. Then the bill came. We were overcharged for drinks and the onions and peppers side order which was around $5. The waitress made no attempt to correct the ticket and tried to explain away the extra charges. Finally she stated that there was no manager available and things had been really busy. Like that was supposed to make amends. Needless to say we WILL NOT be back. From now on Rod and I will be at The Cattleman in Danville , Ky where there's an endless Salad Bar and they never serve a bad steak! All for about the same amount of money!! Sincerely Tonya Chasteen
Ate here the night of the Jamey Johnson concert at Renfro Valley. BBQ Ribs we're the special that night and they were oh so good. Very friendly staff and a very "homey" place to eat.
We saw this place high on the hill during a road trip refill. We thought it might be a great place to have dinner and let the kids run. The server was so sweet and was really trying, but it was really slow service for having no one in the restaurant. We had 5 kids that were insane and it was a challenge to keep them from falling down the cliff. Especially when one of the guardrail sections on the patio was broken and just swings out for death. But we saw the cemetary behind and there was a hearse in the parking lot. Had the hillbilly tacos, which I found to be delightful with some extra bbq. There was local corn on the menu that was also pretty awesome.
I would like to come back when our kids are not in danger of running off the cliff and try again.
There were 8 of us in the group. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable. Sorry we were traveling up Iu5band don't live near. We'd be regulars if we lived closer!
What a surprising gem of a restaurant!! Friday night all you can eat catfish with two sides for $10.99. It was all delicious. I am very picky about coleslaw and I loved theirs. The fried green tomato appetizer was very good. They have homemade cobblers.
Our waitress was Angie. Great service, engaging and friendly. The menu is a nice size. Plenty of choices but not so many that you can't make a decision. I ordered the Limestone Grill burger and it came exactly as ordered. Great cozy place for a quick bite at lunch.
Nice atmosphere and great food ice cold beer with a 1/4 lb burger and fries more than I could eat I'll be back for the Shrimp dinner...Oh and the restrooms are clean...
Totally amazed with food and service from the Limestone. Heading back to Canada from Nashville. Stayed at Motel closeby. Ordered takeout. Amazed that they would deliver to motel. The owner delivered and would not take a tip. Excellent food. After grossly overpaying in Nashville for a few days this was a very pleasant find.
Just recently tried this place. 4x in 2 weeks and even some call in orders to go must say something! The girls are very attentive and seem to love their jobs there! It's a very welcoming atmosphere with a touch of good ol' country cooking or an upscale steakhouse!
This place is a little hard to find because it is up on a hill. There is only a little parking lot. The interior decor is kind of cool with rough sawn trim. The service was okay but not outstanding. I had chicken breasts on a bed of rice with a balsamic dressing, fried green tomatoes, and a baked sweet potato. The chicken was was good, the rice was rice, the fried green tomatoes were really good. The sweet potato was awesome. This place is worth stopping by and having a meal.
The food was great. My 4 year old loved her fish sticks and my grilled shrimp and baked sweet potato were cooked perfect. Our whole party of 12 enjoyed our meal.
