Food was ok. Service ok. Liked that it was a local restaurant. Would not go out of way to go there. I had a chicken panini, it was not a panini. Just toasted bread. Tasted good.

First time food was very good, but not the second time

I got the quarter pounder. It was ok, same quality as a "from frozen" fast food burger. The chopped steak seems pretty good, slightly better than normal.

Our server was a young man under 21 and he was hands down the best part about limestone. He was helpful and top of his game service wise and I appreciated that.

The worst part about lime stone was when I tried to order a bud lite, they wouldn't sell to me without my Id..... I mean I get it, but my wife is over 30 and ordered a beer, and all of my kids were 5-10 years old. I'm 20 years over the legal drinking limit and we are in the country in the middle of rural Kentucky. I think they made this choice in bad taste and it really degraded the rest of the experience for my wife and I. Hell, it felt downright disrespectful at the time. I didn't have my I'd because my wallet was stolen a few days before and I simply didn't have it. Thanks limestone, we won't be coming back.

Our first time there. The staff was extremely friendly and explained the menu items. The food was delicious, came out quick and tasted homemade. We are not from the area, but will definitely come back when we visit our family again

Food was great! Service not took 20 min to get drink order! Then had to go get the waiter to take the order.

Exceptionally good. Freshly prepared food, excellent service, nice atmosphere, flexible menu. We'll be back if we're in that part of the country again.

Best place to get grub in Mt.Vernon, if you have 25min to spare I recommend this restaurant.

Found this gem while working in Kentucky. Great food and very reasonable prices. The grilled pork chops were delicious as well as the fried green tomatoes!

It was delicious we always get a steak and baked potato for a salad or something else and it was great even the coffee was good this time we really enjoy going there we live in London we go down there at least once or twice a week

Wanted to eat somewhere non-chain while traveling. Stumbled onto this gem. Great country cooking! Service was friendly and fast. I had a veggie plate. The green beans were perfect, but as in most southern dishes, not vegan. Peach cobbler with ice cream was divine. Right off interstate but don't miss the street (it's easy to do)!

Dont eat at limestone! Unless you come full toke us like 1 hour to get food and this place is almost empty!

Up on the hill, don't drive by. Delicious meals. The hillbilly tacos were the favorite but the chicken fried chicken was also fantastic. My son said his burger was very good. A very good value and a busy local restaurant. Hard to see getting off the highway, but it's right by the hwy up the hill.

Love this restaurant. It was clean, staff were friendly and the food was great. It will be our lunch stop anytime I travel through Kentucky in the future!!

This Place Was Awesome. Service Great, Food Great, Decor Awesome, Atmosphere inviting. I am Sad I have to leave this town after one week because this place will not be in the next town. Everyone should try place.

Great Southern food. Easy access from the interstate. Portions are reasonable to large. Very clean and the staff is friendly. Don t be deceived by the outside once you get in it s a lot larger with plenty of seating. Try the fried pickles!

The fried shrimp and pickles chips are always a hit.

Good place & food but service is horrible. Once seated it took 15 minutes for us to even be acknowledged. I've heard tjis is the norm. Need more help. Family owned and home made.

Service was great but the food was only so so. Ordered the seafood sampler platter. Have never seen a crab cake quite like that before puffy and soggy. The fish was good. Hush puppies not edible at all. Would not recommend especially for the price.

Good food and good prices. We all especially enjoyed the catfish. My 8y old son was asking for catfish at every restaurant for the entire vacation after that.

Friendly staff, delicious food. We had fried bologna sandwich plus prime rib sandwich. Both with homemade chips. And you have to try the cobbler. Both types, peach and blackberry were wonderful.

While camping at Renfro Valley KOA we ordered delivery from Limestone grill. The service and food was EXCELLENT!! This will be our Friday night go to meal when camping at Renfro! Highly recommended!!

Great food, great people and nice comfortable atmosphere. The cook is excellent, my steak was and always is cooked to perfection. We eat there at least once a week sometimes more never disappointed

This will definitely be our go-to place when we are in the area. Delicious home cooked food, large portions, and good prices. We ate here for breakfast and dinner.

One of the few restaurants near Renfro Valley. My wife ordered ice tea and I ordered lemon aid. The first that we shoulder order either because the quality of water was so poor. It just made use leery of the rest of the menu that wasn't very impressive.

this is the best place to work great place to dine in too ... great hospitality and really nice waitresses and you get the best service out of this restaurant.. there has not been one complaint from this place since they opened... come in and see us in mt. vernon ky

Yummy home made food. I had sweet potato, fried green tomatoes-for first time , catfish and cornbread. Marie, our waitress, was a dear . She even fresh brewed me coffee to go. First right turn off West side of 75. It is up the hill after that first right turn.

I have ate at Limestone Grille many times, and almost every time I eat here, I leave full and satisfied. This establishment is a slightly smaller, rustic themed restaurant that most people enjoy having a dine-in meal with their families at. The theme of the restaurant is why many people decide to eat here. Limestone Grille use's wood, country-style dining chairs for the seating. Also, you may notice that when you get your drink, the glass is actually a tall, straight, Mason Jar. The main dining room of the restaurant, which is in the middle of the building, has wood framed tin sheets used for sliding doors that are supposed to resemble barn doors. In my opinion, I think that the whole theme and all the decorations was a really good idea, and I would really like it if more restaurants used the same theme and props.
Asides from the looks and feel of the place, I'm going to write about the service quality and the food here at Limestone Grille.
When you first enter, you should quickly be greeted by a waitor/waitress, and showed to your seat. Once your sitting, your tenant should stay to find out what you would like to drink, then leave. You and the people you're eating with are probably already scanning over the menu by now. The food at this restaurant mostly goes along with the theme, but I can assure you, anything you pick from the menu will be hot, fresh, and delicious. During my visits here, the waitress always came with our drinks fairly quick. But another good quality of Limestone Grille is that the waitresses are very nice, and will wait on you to decide what you're going eat.
Although there are all these good things about this restaurant, there is one bad quality. The only part I don't particularly like about eating here is the wait for your food. Which is to be expected, because the food is homemade and has to be cooked. However, there is an upside to the wait, while you and your family and/or friends are waiting on your food, you all can admire and talk about about the props hanging on the walls. And, depending on where your seat is, you may even watch some TV while waiting.
All in all, I have to say that I really enjoy
eating here, and I believe any one of you that
have not ate at Limestone Grille would really
enjoy eating here too.

We let before we ordered because we were told that the wait for any food would be at least an hour or an hour and a half. Have ate there before and the food is not worth the wait.

The food was ok. The service was very slow though, even though when we got there they were not full up. The kitchen just could not keep up with the wait staff. Our waitress was not ad good as some of the other waitresses either; I saw them probably 3 times as often as I did our waitress. All in all it was enjoyable, but for the price of the food, the service was too slow.

Had open face roast beef and seasoned fries last night ,, my hunny had a grilled chicken salad ,, tonight I had pinto beans,fried potatoes and corn bread cake ...she had chicken salad on a croissant ....all delicious .. we have no complaints about the food or prices ....we shall return...oh and the hostess and waitresses were great too...
