Fantastic night in the upstairs section of the restaurant. Had delicious appetizers all night long and service was great! Great view over the water, patio looks like it would be great if the weather was warmer. Overall very good and deserving of the great reviews they get!

If you ever get athena as your bartender, you are so in luck. I guess that is why they hired her

Came here for my birthday, great ambience, service and the 30 dollar fish platter so good and the buratta.

We had a fantastic dinner and the view was stunning....we watched the sunset on the harbour. Our waiter Cale was fantastic and helped us select a B.C wine that went fabulously with our seafood. The atmosphere was friendly, yet professional. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a must do while in Vancouver.

Waitress refused to seat us stating there was no open room, even though there were clearly empty tables.

Our party of ten had a good time until our friend broke a sale glass and then another friend broke a wine glass and they cut off the entire group at 930 pm.

Location is aces but gone consistently down hill in terms of service and quality over the years. Used to be a five star five years ago...

Good place for celebrating birthdays and they have good food but the portion was toooo small!! Lovely view and I believe they have happy hours from 3-6 pm! Its great in summer with the best view in Vanocuver! Its great to spend quality time with family or friends

I visited Lift on August 19, 2018. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely. I had the most delicious white Sangria ever!!! Our waitress was attentive, chatty and personable. Would highly recommend.

Great location n good food. Happy hour daily 3 to 6 PM. Lovely place to have tea or drinks.

Liked the warm atmosphere a lot. The view to the ocean scenery was amazing. And the brunches were so tasty. Staffs were amazingly friendly

Great place to dine and enjoy the view along the water. The business is very thoughtful to have complimentary parking while you're dining in.

Ordered a bunch of stuff during happy hour and all of the dishes were excellent... Except for the chilled seafood platter which did not make sense to me in presentation, and was underwhelming in taste.

Regardless, it's a nice place to try at least once while you're in Vancouver.

Crab cakes are delicious; everything else is decent. They make some good drinks too! The location is everything you want, and you actually feel like you are "Lift"-ed above the water. Definitely a good place to dine after a walk on the seawall or visit to Stanley park. The price point is actually quite manageable and the food is better quality than Cadero's

Nicely prepared meals, interesting and tasty cocktails, a.on a rooiftop deck with the best view in town. Our server was friendly, and took care of our allergies. Lift totally breaks my rule that great views don't come with great food.

Amazing views and good service overall. Some amazing unique drinks. Too many rules about happy hour and drink sspecials and where you can and can't have it. Would be packed everyday for every season if they offered some better deals and weren't so tourist focused.

Favourite restaurant downtown. Good view of coal harbour and the mountains as well as Canada place at a distance. Sashimi is amazing better then most sushi joints. And the rest of the food is great as well. They can actually make delicious drinks. Expect so spend 100 to 150 for two people 3 to 500 for 4 people with lots of drinks

We enjoyed our experience here. We went for a quick drink as we started our seawall walk. The day was sunny so we went upstairs and sat in the far left table. Amazing view of the marina and mountains. Service was exceptional. Although we didn't eat, we did look at the menu for future reference. Menu looks very West Coast, similar to a Earls/Milestone/Cactus Club.

Great place to stop your bike trip for a cool one at Lift

We ordered the Vancouver dine out menu and had one of each option available. It was meh. The food was bland, especially the pakoras and the condiments that came with it. The fish was overcooked and also bland. The highlight of the menu was the deep-fried apple pie! I would order that again. Also, the cocktails were delicious. I would return again for the cocktails and for the ambiance especially during the summer when the outdoor patio is open. Amazing views! Staff were excellent as well.

The service was spectacular and the apps were great. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the beef tartar. Perfect place for a romantic evening.

Service was great, views were ok some reflection on the windows from the lights inside so we couldn't see much at after dark. Food was good nothing spectacular.

Geat view and perfect for having drinks on the padio. Food is nice, too. Service is good , but could be a bit more friendly.

Best meal we have had in a while. We both had the haddock. It was cooked to perfection. The sauce was exceptional. We also enjoyed the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It left us wanting more. The view was outstanding and the service was impeccable! Yeah it was pricy but worth every penny. This will be a must stop whenever we visit Vancouver.

Good eats, beautiful location. Lost a star because I hate spending money and Lift is fairly pricey.

Overpriced. Go to A&W and save yourself the trouble. At least if you go to the airport.

Not a bad restaurant, but I will not be back because there are better places to dine out in Vancouver. Also because they have taken the short ribs off the menu. Service is a little slow, and prices are on the high side.

The salmon was a little overcooked and the flavours of this entire dish was rather bland.

Perfectly cooked food, sophisticated flavours. Amazing service and a view that is so Vancouver.

The food was wonderful, however the staff were very rude. We ordered lattes and they braight us instantcoffee with warm milk which was half spilled and terrible. A waiter refused to take our picture because he was bussy and told his boss to take it. He than also said no. Overall the expirience was rushed. She also lied to us and said the sun blockers were broken and we had to deal with the light. 20 mins later after the sun was almost gone they pulled them out which by the way were perfectly working!!

Tremendous views and great wine list. So impressive we're booked in for a dinner a few days later.

Location and ambiance is perfect.
However we had a table of 10, service was like watching paint dry. The overall food quality was good, however given the horrible service and disorganization it was way out of line.

This review is for the version of the restaurant in Vancouver Airport. I d give zero stars if I could. The result of only building one licensed restaurant in an entire terminal. Overpriced with dismal, slow service (and this is in an airport!) and bad food. But they ve got you captive so who cares about quality?! The only upside of this place is no longer having to go to a sub-par fast food pizza place for a pre-flight beer, although in hindsight that might be a better option.

Everything about this place is awesome! The views, the food, the service - always excellent. Our favourites are the mac and cheese and the poke bowl. The best patio in Vancouver!

At sunset it is great to have a beer. the treatment of the waiters is very good

Fabulous location .. views amazing. Roof terrace beautiful location for wine and seafood.. and watching the boats go by.. happy hour also available.

Aside from the nice ambiance, it was overpriced, small portions, food was less than par and service was mediocre. Regret going here and definitely won`t be going back

Had great experience before, but last visit was terrible mainly because of the waiter. He was not attentive, or just didn't care..

Overpriced average food and surprisingly bad service. Our server was not comfortable serving the 8 of us over the course of 4 hours but she was polite the whole way, we didnt have any issues until we moved by the fireplace. One of the blankets accidentally knocked over a wine glass and a sake glass and they broke. We were not unruly, drunk or rude, the majority of us have worked in the service industry before and know how to behave in public. Regardless, she complained to her manager and they stopped serving us alcohol. When asking the manager why he was by far more upset than we were. He did not want to speak about it, we were level headed and frankly confused. He left not wanting to speak and we left feeling extremely surprised and insulted.

My wife's order, clearly labeled gluten free on the menus, wasn't and she could not eat it. However, we were charged full price.

I booked an evening dine in for my parents and they had a terrible experience. The food was undercooked. The duck breast was red and clearly raw. It took a long time for the replacement order to come in. Unpleasant experience and no efforts were made to provide compensation.

Great location and cocktails. Service. Little slow but dinner made it worth while. Will return.

Terrible customer service. I came by myself and was asked if I minded sitting at the bar. I said it was no problem but several sites were occupied with other customer's belongings. None of them thought about asking them to move their stuff so I could sit. I ended up asking them if they wanted me to deal with my own seating arrangements which finally made them do something about it. Ordered a burger, it came out fairly quick, when I tried to get attention from someone to request for mayo, a female server told me she wasn't my server and walked away from me without assisting me or calling the bartender's attention. Maybe because they're at the airport and the choices are limited they feel like they do not have to make an effort to provide with good service? Regardless I'm never coming back and will make sure to share my experience with friends and colleagues. Spend your money somewhere else!

Rude waitress happy hour only inside not outside. A bunch of us left and went to a more pleasant atmosphere.

Steak was bad. Management was rude. I never recommend to anyone to go there.

I was attending a Christmas function and had a set menu for dinner. I had the Ahi Tuna roll and Sable fish which was pretty good, same as for the service.

Fantastic experience and environment. I hope to be able to rdturn on my next visit.

Tried the Pressed Quail, Venison and Rabbit and it was great as a appetizer, could be an entree itself, also tried the BC Dynamite roll sushi maki and it was one of the very few dynamites I've liked till now, my girlfriend tried the see bass and it was amazing. Overall it was s quite good experience. One of our favorite places. Service could be btter tough.

The view is just amazing alone that is worth going, the staff is very friendly, dinks during happy hour are extremely fair prices and the food was very good, my partner and I went a few times during COVID and they took a lot of effort to make everyone feel safe and cleaned really well.

Great food and attentive, polite service and a great location. One of our favs for brunch or a glass on wine. Their Ceasars are fantastic!

Wife and I celebrated our anniversary there. Amazing place, great location, complimentary parking and food were absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back there again next time I'm back in town.

The Lift always seems to come through. Once again, a last minute decision to eat out, make a call and get a reservation for a larger group without any headache.

Service was a little slow, but the attitude and effort by the staff made up for it. An all around pleasant evening.

Have only ever gotten drinks here but every time has been a great experience. The staff and especially the manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Fantastic views and often times a quiet patio.

The view is great, very relaxing place. I love the squid. I will come back for dinner next time.
