The food is surprising yummy here! Went here with friends during happy hour (3pm to 5pm). They have wine and beer for happy hour offering. The food was very good! Had lobster Mac and cheese (must order! There were many lobster chunks), fried squid (sooooo good!), Oysters were super fresh, truffle fries were very good as well. The service were very welcoming and the view was great.

Unbelievable! My family was traveling home from an otherwise incredible experience in Vancouver when we, unfortunately, decided to get dinner at Lift in the airport. Upon arriving, we were greeted with apathetic indifference at the host stand. After huffing off to survey the landscape around the half empty restaurant, the greeter (Jody) returned to the host stand, agitatedly grabbed menus and told us I ll come get you when I m ready to seat you. Both she and the male at the host stand seemed very agitated that we were disturbing them. After being seated, we waited for 10-15 minutes before someone came out and (with no greeting or introductions) asked what can I get you? She too seemed annoyed to be disturbed by us. She informed us there was going to be at least a 30 minute wait for our food. A guest at another table asked for some ranch dressing, to which this same server bruskly replied we don t have ranch and kept walking.

I ve worked in a number of service oriented positions throughout my career, so I try to be understanding of the challenges people face when dealing with the public. However, every member of the staff we encountered at Lift seemed not only unconcerned with the level of service being provided, but rather openly and intentionally unfriendly. My family and I were sincerely stunned. Truly the most unpleasant experience I ve ever had trying to overpay for mediocre airport food.
