Always kind and courteous. Never have to wait long and booking my physio was so quick and easy
Always kind and courteous. Never have to wait long and booking my physio was so quick and easy
I have never had a physio therapist who cared so much about getting me back to a pain free lifestyle. Brittany was very thorough with her assessment and her treatments were spot on. My back has never felt so good. Thanks for getting me "back" on track!
My physiotherapist Dylan went above and beyond to target my specific needs post ACL reconstructive surgery. I have benefited greatly from these sessions!
Best gym in the city wouldn't reccomend anywhere else.
I've had two injuries in the last few years that have required me to go to physio. Both times I went to Repsol Lifemark, and both times I felt truly taken care of.
The reception desk made sure that any coverage I could receive from the government and my insurance was used before I had to pay out of pocket. They also gave me a count down of when my coverage would finish up. There were no surprises here.
Both my physio therapists went above and beyond to address my injuries, the after effects of said injuries, and even the preexisting conditions I may have accumulated in the past that were hindering my recovery.
While I hope to never have to use their services again (knock on wood), Repsol Lifemark will be my number one choice if I sustain another injury.
They really specialize in certain injuries (eg there are physios who just do knees) so they have a ton of experience on how to help recover from an injury. They utilize the gym there so its rehab can be serious. No fiddling around with rubber bands when you can (and should!) be leg pressing decent weight.
Finally, a clinic with a team mentality and all team members under one roof! I've worked mostly with Julie Rabnett, an incredible physiotherapist. Her passion to help me is so motivating that I actually do my "physio homework" :)
Our team likes to use Julie Rabnett at your clinic. She is one of the most professional and knowledgeable Physio i know in the sport world.
Great physios so I d give the physios themselves 5 stars. The low rating is for the unfriendly front staff and dirty and rundown location. Location is dilapidated, rundown, and lacks professionalism. Front reception staff curt, and have poor customer experience skills.
Perfect place for fixing my chronic pain for the past 5 years, thank you so much Seb :)
Great location. However I've been booking online recently only to have every single appointment rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances with a provider. I think they can work a little better to make sure that someone isn't available on the online system who shouldn't be. I've been here for physio and massage and the team is pretty good.
I have had the most helpful experiences at Lifemark at Repsol. My physio Julie Rabnett went above and beyond to provide me with excellent care while in the clinic and exercises for home. The health of my knees and shoulders have exponentially improved since going to physio here. I recommend it to everyone!
Terrible via WCB. Got fitted for a brace they said a week for it to come in waited over 2 months. Straps broke same story a week to come in waited over 3 months for 2 straps
These guys know what they are doing. I had an ACL reconstruction done here recently and have had nothing but good experiences so far. The surgeon Dr. Timmerman is a no B.S kinda guy, the exact kind of person you want operating on you. I think the kinds of people that find him insulting are the kinds that cannot take an honest look at themselves and don't want to put in the work. I've had Jeff and Shannon both as physiotherapists and they are quite similar in attitude to Dr. Timmerman. No room for excuses, if you want your post-op recovery to go well, you have to do what they say. All in all I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help me through this.
I've been coming here for 3 years with multiple different injuries. I've seen the same therapist the whole time but the entire staff are extremely courteous and professional. The facility has doctors and X-Ray equipment on site. There is never an issue with booking as the therapists are very flexible. Highly recommend Lifemark for anyone and any injury. If you have the choice go with Julie.
Have had a few physio treatments with Brittany Jobagy. She is very thorough and explains the treatment plan and each step in the process. She also can provide access to other disciplines within Lifemark-Repsol. Would definitely recommend her.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Focus on the issue, make out a treatment plan and get you back out functioning in a realistic timeline.
I ve been a patient of Brittany s since 2016 and I don t know how I would function without her. She s the best!
They never listen to what you have to say, your never right. Only a couple of them there I would recommend seeing.
Superb care and personal service with a high level of professionalism from Rama during my pelvic floor physiotherapy assessment. Knowledgeable, helpful and honest, I was truly impressed with my takeaways following our appointment. Warmly recommend to visit Rama after your pregnancy!
I have had issues for over a year with my gluteus minimus muscles. I went here since I work out at Repsol Center and the help was amazing. The front desk staff were nice and my therapist Brittany was the best! Her positive attitude, friendliness and knowledge was reassuring as I struggled through the recovery process. I am more than happy to recommend her and Lifemark to anyone needing help!
I'm very lucky to have the best physio therapist in the country.thanks for all your help.
Mark
Not overly happy with my experience here. You basically are one patient being seen by a physiotherapist who has 4 other patients on the go at the same time. My physio was knowledgeable. But I don t think she was set up for success to treat me well as she was constantly running between clients. I would go to a smaller physio clinic (which I have) to get more one on one help to really quickly solve an issue. Would not recommend.
Bad customer service lady at customer service department
Very disappointed at the staff (front staff) I visited there 2 weeks ago and they didn't know how to submit the insurance coverage. They didn't bother to call to let me know. I usually get a call in other clinics if they cant submit coverage or something gets stuck...not here. Insurance is fully active, anyway if I had heard just a "sorry could of been a mistake from our part" that would of done it but I didn't see professionalism with this situation. Kelly the masseuse was great! btw
I never really believed that therapy would or could increase your recovery time because iam so active in my daily life that I considered that , that would be all I needed to do for a speedy recovery .
What I have since learned from going to lifemart , is that it's not just about going there and putting in your time. Its more about the the staff , the communication , the care , the relationships you gain with others who are going through the same thing as you .A BIG thanks to Riley ,Britney, Christine who work the front counter , who somehow are able to manage and schedule all my appointments considering I have weekly changes , and iam not always on time but none the less their always happy to see me as I am to see them .
A BIG thanks to Matt my therapist , Alex and Carmen who occasionally assist whith my therapy / crazy schedule,, they truly all make my day , I have been to many different places as I have had 10 surgeries and what I have learned is their not all the same , it's the people who work there that make it up and above any other place I have been . (Wayne Taylor)
Great staff and service at this location. Brit is truly awesome and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Unfortunately due to unforeseens I have been a repeat client of Repsol Lifemark for the past 18 months. Fortunately you could not ask for a better bunch of professionals to properly access and and treat your injuries. Stephanie is extremely knowledgeable with neck and back injuries involving car accident. Caroline was key in my road to recovery after I broke my wrist she pushed my limits to ensure that I got my full range of motion back. If you happen to hurt yourself and require rehabilitation treatment this should be your second stop after the dr s office.
This is the best Physiotherapy Centre in Calgary! As soon as you walk in the front, the receptionists greet you with a smile and know your name. The Physiotherapists are top in their field. I have had 2 knee replacements and the therapy got me walking without pain. Jeff met with me first appointment and laid out the plan for getting me mobile. I was assigned to Carmen and every session she had goals for me to achieve. She was firm and sometimes tough but she knew what had to be done and she did it with kindness and empathy. I appreciate all that they have done for me. A great crew!
I was injured at work and previously had a good experience at the Lifemark clinic many years ago.
I found the physiotherapy treatment conducted was very generic and not tailored to my specific needs.
I found my injury was miss diagnosed which caused many other issues.
I would suggest the knee clinic for any lower body extremities injuries.
My father-in-law has been coming here for over a year for his bad knee. The staff has been excellent to address his concerns and questions. He was gushing about how great the therapists here are, and they've given him his life back. He's had nothing but great things to say about this place and has gotten his coworkers and friends who have similar issues to come to this location. Thank you for the great service and for making my father feel comfortable and for being supportive. I can tell you right now, my father-in-law is a man of few words and he can be stubborn with his exercises, but the staff have been so encouraging and the entire family has seen an improvement in his mobility. Thank you!
Was in physio for 6 weeks it was great staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable nothing but good things to say. Great experience
Pranavi sports RMT was good very at her craft .I had two massages from her and helped me alot
I had a work injury on April 2019, I went to Lifemark medecine at Repsol and I saw Dylan Parsons. Seriously I couldn t have pick better physiotherapist. Dylan help me a lot with my back. Dylan is a nice human being and a terrific Physio. I would recommend him to everyone.
Thanks Dylan !
Great facility and friendly knowledgeable staff. Having the doctors and specialists together in the same facility is a huge bonus. Acces to the track and gym facilities is also great. I have seen Julie for physiotherapy after a knee surgery, stress fractures in my foot and for ongoing ankle issues. She is without a doubt the best physio I ve ever worked with. She explains what the issues are and how to get back to pre-injury status efficiently and safely.
Can't say enough good things about the treatment I've received from this place. I've been dealing with an injury for some time, and after bouncing around from other physiotherapists I came to Lifemark on the recommendation of a friend. Stephanie Inman did an amazing job of listening to the issues I was having, identifying exactly what the cause was, and explaining the cause and solution to me in an easy to understand way. Places I've been to in the past would usually just look at my injury, give me a list of exercises and ignore me for the rest of the session (until it came time to pay the bill). Before this place, I never understood why I was suffering from chronic pain, or what the exercises were supposed to accomplish. I'm just over 6 weeks in and can already feel a massive improvement - I've been able to play sports that I wrote off long ago due to the pain.
The treatment and incredibly personable staff made the best experience I've ever had in physiotherapy, hands down. Stephanie really cared about my individual treatment instead of talking to me for 2 minutes and running off for the rest of the session. If you care about actually understanding the purpose of the treatment and the root cause of your problems, I'd definitely check these guys out!
Eric Lee has helped me so much during my physiotherapy. Really nice place to.
I ve been working with Evan to get my shoulder and knee moving properly. He is always very knowledgeable and helpful.
I have seen both Dylan and Brooklyn many times. Both are incredibly kind, professional and considerate. They use the perfect blend of exercise and hands on work to ensure you leave feeling great and have the tools to self manage your injuries. Would definitely recommend to all my family and friends!
After sustaining a concussion this past summer, I was referred to Carmen. My treatment process was very simple, efficient and most importantly effective. I am grateful for my referral to Carmen.
I have a Grade 3 AC separation and Dylan was a fantastic guide to recovery. My shoulder now feels strong and pain free, and I have the skills to keep it strong! Thanks so much Dylan!
I received treatment here after having knee surgery and the therapists were very helpful. They spent a lot of time with me and provided a detailed exercise program that has worked really well. Also, the location is great. It s close to downtown and right across the street from the train station. I highly recommend this clinic.
Hard to find, located on right side of parking lot at the Repsol Center. Free parking
My knee was in great hands with Julie.
Treatment with a smile!
I've been going to this physio location for 12+ years. I've never had a bad experience with any of the therapists, they all make me feel super welcome. Many of my previous physiotherapists have gone out of their way to say hi to me each time I go in for treatment. The girls at the front desks are also very friendly and helpful.
I also like the access to the gym equipment at the talisman centre for when it gets busy at the clinic.
I definitely recommend this location to everyone!
This is a superb facility! It has most amenities of a sports complex. The trainers and coaches are very well educated to serve you in teaching and instruction. I was there for Total Cardiology. They have been very supportive in seeing my life get to a better place health wise! They have invested in me tremendously!
Admin staff are super nice and easy to work with. I have yet to have a bad experience with them and I have been going to them for about 2 months for MVA Recovery.
Eric Lee is my Physiotherapist and he has helped a considerable amount. IMS, stretching, and TENS has been the main methods of therapy and he has done a great job at helping with my neck injury.
Kelli has been my primary RMT, her technique is great and she is awesome to chat with during our sessions.
Pranavi has also worked on my injury, she was also great for the time that I saw her, she really helped release the tension in my neck and upper back to get me moving my neck again.
Dr Russell was good the xray tech was a pushy and one of these health care people that knows your pain better than yourself
Superb physiotherapy service performed during the Covid 19 Pandemic, initially virtually from Eric Moon then 7 visits ( both face to face and virtually from Evan Wasylyniuk, the Clinic Director. ) The series of exercises offered post knee replacement surgery saved me from potentially requiring further surgery to correct my knee bend. The expertise, the clear concise instructions, the intensity and duration of the exercises guided me to achieve the correct gait, muscle strength and knee bend. Evan was both personal and professional, offering continuous long term support. I now easily walk several kilometres a day due to the care I received from Evan for that I m truly grateful. I highly recommend their physiotherapy services.
I am very pleased with the expert care that I received for 14 weeks following my L total knee replacement this summer. All the staff are very pleasant, kind and encouraging. There is a team atmosphere and everyone works very well together. They show "tough love" when necessary, but get results. My improvement has been nothing short of miraculous, and I am grateful for the expertise and encouragement of Carmen Hon, my primary physiotherapist, and to Jeff Shulze who I saw initially. Thank you also to Lindsay Roussell and to Lynn.
In the last year I have blown out both knees and have had a scope done on both. Life mark Physio has been great with helping my recovery. Thanks for the great job guys! Very friendly and accommodating!
Saw Brittany when I was in town for a ski trip. She was thorough, professional and caring. Will see her again if I m I m back in Calgary and needing needling.
The physiotherapists who helped me within the past year at Repsol Lifemark were very kind and friendly. One young woman was a big help for shoulder and spine and I am most grateful.
I am very grateful FOR STEPHANNIE, she is good customer care
I've been going here for months, it is one of the best equipped places I have been to and the staff are great.
In my opinion the best of the best if it comes to physio. I came here for my pre and post physio after my ACL draft surgery and I'm happy to say my legs are stronger then ever. Ask for July and she will definitely take care of you!
Love them!
I went in to have my knee brace repaired and adjusted. The work was done very quickly. The staff were very cordial and professional.
I ve had several injuries and pains over the past few years and every time the physio treatments I ve received here has been a lifesaver. Both Carla Smith and Evan Wasylyniuk are fantastic Physiotherapists and have helped me through a lot of tough pain and back to normal or better.
Lifemark at Repsol Centre has a great team. I am very happy with all the services. Specially with my massage therapist Pranavi and my physiotherapist Melissa. They are very knowledgeable, highly qualified and very kind. They really care about helping and improving their clients health. I always feel better after receiving their services. I totally recommend Pranavi and Melissa!
Great staff, exceptional skilled massage therapists, thanks for your service
Superb treatment what I received from my physiotherapist after my wrist surgery not to using my hand for 6 months she gives me amazing treatment thanks Torri Barnes .
I've been working with Carmen for the past few months after an ACL and MCL tear. No matter the stress levels in the room Carmen always remains patient. She will also take the extra time to make sure you understand everything that is going on. Since switching to Lifemark my rate of improvement has drastically increased. I would confidently recommend Carmen and any other staff at Lifemark to anyone.
I received treatment here after having knee surgery and the therapists were very helpful. They spent a lot of time with me and provided a detailed exercise program that has worked really well. Also, the location is great. I highly recommend this clinic.
Following a hip replacement I completed seven physiotherapy sessions with Brittany; the results were great. Really appreciate the skill, efforts and dedication provided to help the recuperation process.
Very thorough physio. Understand the problem and make a plan for treatment.
Julie Rabnett is an extremely knowledgeable Physio who, while having compassion, is efficient and extremely thorough. She explains all my questions and recommends accordingly. Thank you Julie.
Great spot for physio. They got me back to action fast.
Not sure why they could not build this with a ground level entrance. Going in due to an injury and options are stairs or an icy path
Melissa is an amazing physiotherapist who has helped me recover after two shoulder surgeries. She is very knowledgeable, kind and personable!
The clinic itself could use some renovations and updated equipment. I sometimes find it difficult to reach the appointment desk to make an appointment, but now rely on the online option to do so.
Brooklyn was my physioterriost and she is excellent. Covid protocols are followed and i felt well looked after!
I visited Julie R. in the physiotherapy group and was so impressed. She did such a good job of making me feel cared for - she was never in a rush, listened to everything I had to say and spent so much time with me. She even remembered unrelated details about our conversations week to week - like a hike I was going to do, or how my weekend went. Very thoughtful.
She told me she came from a downhill skiing background and then worked with the national team(!) for treatment so she has a special understanding of athletes - even mediocre weekend warriors.
I've seen many physios in the past, but will only see one in the future - Julie is fantastic! Would recommend her to anyone.
If you have significant problems walking especially in the winter, I would not recommend this clinic. There is a very long ramp or many stairs to get to the entrance and the cleaning of the ramp/stairs is not effective.
My husband attended this Lifemark site after having a total knee replacement completed by Dr. Timmerman. He went to the clinic on the doctor's recommendation. This clinic, although has a ramp to the entrance, when snowy, icy or wet is not truely accessible to those with limited mobility or ability to walk without canes/crutches.
When we arrived for the first treatment 2 hours after the opening of the clinic, we were unable to access the clinic as the stairs (more that 15 steps) were completely snowed in and the ramp also was covered with snow. I went into the clinic to see if there was an accessible entrance to the clinic, the only alternative would be to enter (up stairs or a ramp) and then to go through the gym area and then down to the clinic. This was the first time that my husband was walking on crutches other than in our house, he would not be able to walk that far. The receptionist found a shovel and then one of the physiotherapists had to start shovelling the ramp and the stair. My husband came down the ramp, he was very apprehensive and worried that he would fall. When we left at 10 am, the snow cleaners were finally cleaning the ramp.
Zero stars. Patients are like spinning plates. Appointments start every 20 minutes and you re treated like an assembly line during your 1hr session. There s typically three patients to one physiotherapist. I think one time I had 4:1. Sometimes they ll just make you sit there for 20 minutes with heat or ice on your injury, like to the point where there s no more heat being delivered from the heat pack. When left alone, and things felt wrong, I would either suffer through it, or quit exercises early because I had no guidance or assistance until they came back 10-20 minutes later. My injury required manual manipulation, which I received next to no physical contact Like no physical contact except for checking for range of motion. Saw no progress after three weeks (6-7hrs), and left to seek treatment for different facility (and made progress there within a couple of visits/1.5hrs). Also during your appointment, you must endure listening the staffs gossiping. There are I think 10 beds in one area and lots of silly chatter. I m all for barbershop talk, but not when it s whiny. I chose Lifemark because they had extended hours, ample free parking, a big facility that would have lots of resources, and were WCB approved. Cannot recommend it. In fact I do the opposite...NOT RECOMMENDED!
A great group of therapists. I was there recovering from knee surgery. They push you to meet the recovery requirements and the result is a faster and more satisfactory recovery.
Referred by a friend that saw Carmen, I have personally seen Brittany and Eric for a shoulder injury. Both have been really helpful throughout my recovery. Highly recommend seeing Brittany if you want a physiotherapist that is up front and open to finding various exercises or treatments that aid in your personal recovery.
Brooklyn, wonderful person! Friendly, knowledgeable, and always listens to her patients. Provided very good support during my sessions and helped me a lot to recover my injury. Grateful to her! Wishes her all the best!
It's my second appointment with them, Brooklyn is so helpful! The exercises are working and hopefully my injury will heal eventually. Thanks Brooklyn!
I highly recommend Julie Rabnett at Lifemark Sport Medicine. She is very professional and experienced and has an in depth knowledge of sports injuries. I enjoy that she incorporates many aspects of rehabilitation into my treatment plan (IMS, cupping, manual therapy, exercises). I find her availability in the evenings an asset to my recovery so that I don't disrupt my day at work!
I went there and asked about shockwave therapy for calcaneus spurs and receptionist booked an appointment for me, but on appointment day therapist told me that Lifemark has not been offering Shockwave therapy anymore and reception forgot to mention or did not know about it!!! Really!! Is this a way Lifemark gives service to people??
Lifemark wasted three days of my life.
However i have to mention your receptionist people were so talkative with each other.
Great place for physiotherapy! Matthew was fantastic in helping me rehabilitate after ACL and ALL reconstruction plus meniscus repair.
I would highly recommend Julie R for any of your physio needs. She is thorough, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the person behind the injury.
As others who mentioned their reason for being at Lifemark was because of a WCB claim, I would have to agree I did not have the best experience. I felt rush through and my questions in regards to my injury brushed off as not being important or no time to answer. My experience brought forward concerns that perhaps the doctor's interest in my injury leaned more towards assisting WCB then concern for his patient's needs. To clarify, I am a single father with two children who cannot afford to live off of WCB and it would be to my benefit to return to work asap. However, in my opinion, the doctor could have taken more time to address my concerns. He demonstrated no empathy for the needs of his patient.
Brooklyn Halwa was my fantastic physiotherapist. She obtained my xrays, & after discussion with me started a rehab program that worked. Very impressed with her professionalism, knowledge & friendliness - a great experience. I highly recommend Brooklyn.
Friendly helpful staff and advice. Lots of parking spaces and handicapped access.
I've visited for both massage and physio a number of times over the past few years. They've always been on time, staff at the front desks have been helpful and practitioners have been excellent. They are very thorough in their assessments and approaches, focusing on long-term solutions to get you back to your lifestyle and activity/performance level.
Outstanding facility with all the equipment you would need for a speedy recovery and then some. The physios are invested and have a range of specialty experience so that you can trust you are getting the right information and the right treatment. I appreciated that I had to put in some work to get better and that my physio didn't just give me ultrasound and some massage and send me on my way, there was a real treatment plan and homework that I had to do which I appreciate.
