I attended an event last week and had a great experience at the Library! The atmosphere was lovely and it was in such a great location. The staff were also super friendly, a lady called Shannon Lawes in particular was extremely welcoming and made my experience even better! Will definitely be coming back soon.

The rooms are so cozy and feel like home away from home. The food also was very nice and the staff were just excellent.All together a very wonderful place to stay in London.

I cannot stress how absolutely appalled I am with this business. After spending a fortune in advance for a meal (for a 30th), which was rescheduled by them to 3 months after the original date booked, we turned up on the day to be told they couldn't seat us at all and couldn't offer us an alternative reservation for the supper we had booked. They then refused to provide us a refund there and then despite having had our money for months, and tried to force us to take a 'voucher' for another dinner or hotel stay instead of returning our money, which we of course declined. It took weeks for us to finally get a refund for the meal, and numerous emails on our part (many of which were completely ignored). As per our rights as a consumer, we asked them to refund us for extra expense caused by their incompetence (as we had travelled to London especially for the occasion and had to pay for another meal), and they agreed to refund this in the form of a replacement dinner to the same cost. Unfortunately for us, since agreeing to this they have yet to respond to any of our emails to confirm a date and time for this meal (we've been emailing them over 3 months). The business is a joke, the customer service is non existent and I cannot stress how much you should avoid this place. Certainly don'y pay for anything up front. At this point I'll be taking the complaint to Trading Standards as well.

Only popped in for a couple of drinks not knowing about this place and ending up having a blast! Great customer service especially from a young lady Shannon Lawes who went over and beyond for our party! Will absolutely be returning!

I spent time here as a guest. Lovely staff, great atmosphere, and a surprisingly great beer! Looks very relaxed, and the food others were eating smelt good.

Quirky, individual, fab location for theatres , good helpful staff. Some attention to detail in rooms badly needed e.g. shower head missing, lights not working, things missing from breakfast area. Food in restaurant was ok, no great shakes but not overpriced.

They just recently launched their restaurant St. Luke's Table with a new head chef and menu, and everything was delicious! I would highly recommend the scallops starter as they were cooked just right, and the venison was excellent as well. For dessert, I got the chocolate fondant with a peanut butter heart (which had just enough peanut butter to add to the experience, but not so much that it felt overwhelming), and was also fortunate enough to share my wife's blueberry cheesecake which had a unique sort of homemade texture to it.

There is an extremely violent doorman, I was beaten while I was walking into the place, I could not do anything, the management did not care.

I went there couple of times, I liked the place, it is a small private club in London with two nice bars. One day I was invited by a friend and mistenkenly passed the reception without checking in, the doorman/bouncer pushed me on the wall and strangled me. I started shouting, saying he was crazy and he beat me. The whole situation became dramatic, I did not want to leave before talking to a manager. They say they would review the video but told me I could not get in. The only thing I did wrong was to pass the reception, I was not told to check in. They did not contact me after. I call them and they told me I was responsible! I contacted a lawyer, I had some marks on my neck and traces of the punches. The lawyer told me the club can do anything they want as it is a private club it is like entering someone s place, therefore if there had been a lawsuit I had small chance to win. I gave up...

A great club and the staff always go out of their way to make the experience amazing. I had my 40th birthday party here and Sofia who manages events ensured it was an evening to remember. A must visit.

I didn't stay the night in the hotel - but have seen the rooms before and they are phenomenal.

I attended last week to a event on the Thursday and had been taken on a amazing tour by a young lady called Shannon Lawes. She was very kind and I could tell instantly she was a natural at her job, I could feel her passion for the love of the library. She had such a great attitude & and a smile that was so welcoming. It was an excellent experience and the Library it self is such a beautiful location to be in, food was great, drinks were even more amazing. I would highly recommend attending to future events they have upcoming and moving forward. Well done Library!

What a fantastic first time experience we had here. There is a great atmosphere, with a lot of things to offer when becoming a member. This was explained to us by Membership Manager, Emma Tanner, who we were gladly introduced to as Emma helped us understand the different types of memberships and what the privileges were. We are new members who are excited to become apart of Library and to see the upcoming events, we shall no doubt be spreading the word!

I didn t stay at the hotel, but attended the event and it was great. Shannon Lawes was amazing. 6 Stars

Every time I visit the Library I am welcomed by such friendly staff, specifically Shannon Lawes who made me feel so welcome as I waited alone for a friend. The general ambience is great. I always meet such interesting, creative people and seems to be a hub for networking. The Food and cocktails are fantastic. There are often a number of really interesting and diverse events held at this space. I would highly recommend!

Menu and food could definitely do with work - quality just isn't worth the standard London pricing

Good food and great staff. The drinks aren't cheap but the cocktails are great. Personally I could go without the live music which is a bit loud to be able to talk easily and in truth none of the acts I've seen have been particularly great. The smoking area feels like you're on a break at a call centre. Despite that, it's a great place with a good vibe.

Service is deteriorating... A twenty minute wait to be acknowledged let alone served. A request for an orange juice and lemonade and a menu resulted in:

Another request for a menu

...and being given the distinct impression that I was some sort of inconvenient troublemaker.

I've been a member for a while now, but they REALLY need to up their game on the service front if I am to renew...

I love every time I come into the library. I love everything about it, the food, the cocktails, the staff! I always have a chat with a member of staff Shannon Lawes about which person I am meeting for a date each night haha she s great!! I would highly recommend to anyone.

We unexpectedly had our booking cancelled with no explanation as to why. Pretty shoddy service - if this is the first experience I'm glad we didn't progress to actually staying there.

Whilst the space is beautiful, the service and membership benefits are unfortunately well below standard

cocktails are average, food is average, the wait is interminable thankfully the bartender at the speakeasy is nice

Crooks - sold tickets to an event that they did not deliver. Refuse to reply to complaints or do anything about them. The food is terrible, best to avoid

Reasonably price coffee but was disappointed as the cup had lipstick marks. Wasn't busy and the sevice was quick and friendly.

Went here the other week with a few friends, it's a great place with fantastic atmosphere and food. We ended up staying for a while, the staff were all really helpful, we were greeted by Emma who gave us a tour of the club and took the time to see what we were interested in, and then all the bar and waiting staff were also really helpful. Would go again!

Had a really delightful time here. The atmosphere felt a lot more open and friendly than other members clubs that I have visited. The staff in particular were ace. We had a tour from a really lovely young lady called Shannon Lawes, whose attitude was really inline with what we were looking for in a place like this. Will definitely be coming back!

Been here quite a bit for meetings and Networking events, I love the atmosphere and energy. Everyone is so friendly and the setting is beautiful, I would definitely recommend.

I celebrated my birthday at The Library in the Dear Alice space. Perfect for the occasion and excellent staff. Scott was a great host, Constantin made us amazing cocktails and they had DJ Zay who kept us dancing all night, Great experience!

A good alternative to the likes of Soho House and the other more exclusive members clubs.
Loved the history of the building and the relaxed vibe.
After a scrumptious breakfast (egg benedicts done to perfection) we headed Into the board room for our first official board meeting. Productive place to work.

Got pretty busy in the main restaurant throughout the day.

Relatively attentive staff throughout the day...although they did need reminding about the odd drinks order.

Ps . Cool hidden bar in the basement...I won't reveal the fun of how you get in :-) maybe too well hidden? No one in at 18:30 when we found our way in.

The main bar upstairs was a little more lively . Had an interesting evening event interviewing entrepreneurs about their experiences. Problems with mics made it difficult to enjoy though

Went to a Harry Potter themed evening and it was wonderful. Cosy interior and lovely staff. A great place for an event

Fantastic. Great work place during the day to get your caffeine fix, all staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great food too, in a very relaxing setting. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a space in London. The club offers a really varied and enjoyable social scene in the evening as well, awesome cocktails and live musical performances. One of the best places in the West End to spend some time in.

We went to the bar for Dear Alice experience and it was just a train wreck. The clues were messed up, some people had 7-8 cards, some, like us, only 2-3. One couple couldn t find any cards at all. The final clue is only one per evening, and it was hidden so well that no one found it in three hours we spent on this. Also, the room where the clues are hidden is just filthy, I have never seen so much dirt and dust in my life. Service wasn t bad from the bar crew, they offered some free drinks when everyone eventually started to complain, but management didn t do anything at all. All in all, what should have been fun and light Friday night experience turned into 3-hour long disaster, with no satisfaction or joy at all.

This is a clique-y club with very poor service, rude staff and, frankly, a place that I dread to go rather than enjoy the membership. I would avoid it at all costs.

LOVED IT !!!! I was here for drinks with the girls and not only were the cocktails amazing! The customer service was brilliant the manager Laila was superb! So professional and running the place amazingly!!! 5 stars will be coming back soon ! Definitely recommend

Great during the day when you need to work or meet someone, fantastic at night when you want a post work drink.

The Lib-rary is great. Such a fun atmosphere with amazing creative people. Sian s high fives are the best. Such a great way to start the day.

I have attended the Library for an event. As well as visiting a friend who was staying in the hotel. What a fantastic experience I had. I had a great encounter with a girl there called Shannon Lawes. Great staff ensure a great experience. Thanks Shannon.

We are a young start up and come to the club every day. We all have Special Membership and it's a great value for money! Perfect place to have private and business meetings and cocktails of the week are top! The staff is super friendly and helpful :)

I travelled from outside London to a paid event at The Library only to be told I could not enter with my social anxiety dog. I had written confirmation from the event host permitting me to attend with my dog. Disgusting service that has left me very disappointed.

I have been working here for two years and love the vibe of the space... I still visit when I can as a guest for the various events they programme every day and I would work here again.

Cracking place. They have a great monthly comedy night. Drinks prices a bit steep, but worth it.

Good place, I recommend to all those who are here zonimaitsa Bisnis.

LIBRARY is a great members club with unique and beautiful spaces who we have held many events with. The staff have always been more than helpful and accommodating. I will continue using this venue in the future.

I attended the Library two weeks ago and had been greeted by a lovely lady called Shannon Lawes, she showed me around the place and I couldn't have been more happier. She is a fantastic individual and a very hardworking, thriving young lady. She knows lots of knowledge on the library and would hope she stays on for some time as she is such a help within this company.

Highly recommend coming here.

I found Emma to be very keen to help, approachable and friendly. She showed us round the club and was very clear when it came to explaining how the membership worked.

What a cool place! We recently had dinner at LIBRARY and got a quick tour of the whole club afterwards. The food was great and the club is beautifully decorated (books everywhere, my kind of place!). Great vibe! I don t usually have mixed drinks but had a lovely one here because it was named after Roald Dahl. Extra shout out to our server, Jean Baptiste, for showing us around the club afterwards!

This is a great place to eat, drink, relax and party! I use Library as a work space and for meetings when I'm in London. During the day you will find other like minded people sometimes working from the space so can be good for networking. I held my birthday here last year too and they staff really looked after me and my guests. Highly recommend :)
