Maybe this is okay for long term stay, it is not comparable as a hotel. Amenities like soap and paper towels are missing - so if you're staying for less than a week it's not worth buying all the kitchen goods you need.

Room is lovely - nice views.

TV doesn't work. Fan in the bedroom is so loud it sounds like it's going to crash onto you. Fixtures are poorly made - broke my nails trying to move an inset door. If this were an Airbnb, I could understand. However, it's selling as a hotel and just doesn't stack up when it comes to quality and value.

Another thing that happened is that they had window cleaning without giving notice. I wasn't presentable when men appeared in my bedroom window. Have never had that happen at a hotel without notice. Extremely uncomfortable and intrusive.

We are here for 4 nights but I can already say the experience is awful.
Suite had 2 shower towels and 1 (one) small towel, for two people. 1 (one) roll of toilet paper. There s no room cleaning, we had to ask for extra towels and twice to get some toilet paper. Both tv s were not working we had to call maintenance.
But the most terrible thing is literally dozens of people continuously going in and out of the hotel, and in elevators, many without masks, and no one from the hotel who cares even for a second, which makes us feel VERY UNSAFE. This is not a luxury hotel, it s some sort of party house.
We were fooled by the overall reviews but I wish I had read with more attention.
Can t wait to get out of here.

Level, by far, exceeded our expectations. It started with the friendly hospitality extended by the concierge Aaron, who is one of the friendliest people I've interacted with in Los Angeles. Our suite was large, clean and had every amenity we needed: dishwasher, washer and dryer, convection oven, stove, pots & pans, etc. Because of the central DTLA location, you can walk to most hot spots like L.A. Live, the Last Bookstore, Ralph's, almost every eatery and bar. It was nice be able to walk to Whole Foods, buy our own food to cook for dinner then sit out on the balcony overlooking the city to eat. I am definitely making this a staycay location.

Stylish modern architecture and modern furnishings in an industrial setting. I absolutely love it. There is access to quite a bit of nightlife and shopping and location is in my favorite part of Lis Angeles - the art district.

Space was bright and large. View from room was the city buildings which were pretty especially in the evening. Amenities were great. Loved the fitness Center bc it had new equiptment and the pool area was beautiful.

Best place ever! I stayed here a few years ago but still talk about how good it was!! It may not be comparable in every way to a hotel, but that s because it s really not! It s a mixed long term and short term stay type place. But that doesn t mean it doesn t have everything you d need. Nice gym, amazing huge pool and best of all a full court outdoor basketball court with night lights and a fence around it. BBQs and loungers outside make it easy to host a gathering. Great views of downtown LA depending on which side you re on. Easy short walk to staples to catch a sporting event. Close by to tons of bars and restaurants. I really think it s a hidden gem because you re not in a touristy part of the city and can get anywhere if need be fairly quickly. Also went to an LAFC match which wasn t too far down the highway from here. I liked the interior design as it was minimalistic and simple. Concierge was very helpful when we planned a little fishing excursion in long beach one morning. Overall I will and have be coming back and also to their other locations in Chicago and Vancouver. Every city needs a LEVEL!! It s the absolute best

Clean and nice place. 2 BBQ grills. Inside seating for private events. 2 massive fire pits. A pool and basketball court. Plenty to do here and it was my 2nd time coming here for social events. I like it

Honestly, living at LEVEL has been an incredible experience. The staff from maintenance to valet to the reception became a part of our LEVEL family.

We needed a furnished place to live relocating from Seattle to LA for work and came across this gem. It was 1/2 a block from Whole Foods and walking distance to the Staples center and pretty much any area DT. As a woman I felt safe walking by myself in the area, and really appreciated the central location.

The building is incredibly secure, doggie friendly (a must for us) and most of all spectacular! The rooms are so bright and open with all the "comforts of home". I love that it's a hotel + furnished living as it crates such a unique energy.

The pool/cabanna/outdoor lounge area is huge with so many places to sit and enjoy. The fitness center is also super nice, huge in comparison to most and not too busy.

LEVEL will always be our 2nd home, and is our Los Angeles home. Whether your staying in LA for a few nights or a few months, this is the best place in my biased opinion :)

Location good next to Whole foods which was handy.
Valet very quick n pleasant.
Only fault would be the cleaners who did a suboptimal job.

We had a great weekend here. The room was beautiful very clean and chic and what an amazing view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A nice get away not too far away from where we live. We will be back very soon!

I wish I could give a negative stars.

I wish I could give a negative stars.

I reserved a room here almost a month in advance for a 1 night stay to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. 1 week before, I look over my reservation to confirm any and all info to make sure everything goes smoothly. However, nobody was answering my calls for about 2 days so I sent an email. They didn't respond to my email. Till this day I don't have a response for that email. I finally get an answer through the phone 2 days before my check-in date. They assured me everything was confirmed and that I had nothing to worry about.

I show up to check in with balloons (it IS my boyfriends birthday) and they start scolding me saying I can't have a party and that I'm going to need wrist bands for each person in my room. Of course they didn't mention this until check in, but since it was only 4 people I had no issue with it and was okay with it. No biggie.

I then start to sign the paperwork and initial all paperwork. Once I signed and initialed everything, that's when the guy working in the front decided to tell me that I wasn't going to get the room I initially booked because the person living in that suite extended their stay for another week or 2. They did not have the common courtesy to notify me of this issue beforehand until everything was signed and done. All he said was "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do".

I requested to see the room before I confirmed anything else with this place in case I needed to book at another hotel on short notice. With all this madness going on, I decided to just make the best of it. I wasn't going to let their "standard procedure" interfere with my plans I had for a month.

We finally agreed on a price of $364.50. They said they would reimburse me the $100 after I checkout and they would waive the parking of $50 due to the inconvenience. I agreed and went to my room.

Throughout my stay here, the elevator was jam packed, the lobby was shoulder to shoulder, MANY GUESTS NOT WEARING MASKS, and no wrist bands were provided.

They did reimburse me the $100 and waived the $50 parking fee, however, I was conveniently charged an "excessive cleaning fee" of $150. I emailed them explaining my experience and saying Covid guidelines were not being met. They just said " While we do try to enforce these rules as much as possible, some guests inevitably break rules." Basically, they TRIED to enforce rules, they knew people were breaking them, but didn't care about their guests concerns "that's just how guests are". You can look at the videos and photos provided.

OH, and conveniently enough, they stopped responding to my emails when I asked them to send me paperwork for additional fees. Nothing to detail what "excessive cleaning" defines.

I was invited by some acquaintances who were renting the place so I'm not sure about the service. But from my point of view it seemed very high-end. This place was furnished like and apartment. Washer / dryer, full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, two freezers, and cookware. Comfortable beds, couches, and outdoor furniture for the 23rd floor balcony.
The lobby staff was very friendly and so was the valet.

Highly recommend this establishment. We were in town for a long weekend and stayed here instead of a similarly pricey hotel room or AirBNB and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The minimum 3 day stay was perfect and because we booked on points it honestly felt like a steal. We've been fortunate to stay at some category 10 hotels in our day and, outside of some things like room service, this setup was nearly as nice. The rooms are beautiful and filled with fair-to-high quality appliances (Bosch) and furniture (Scandinavian Designs), are very spaciously designed, and really do feel like an actual apartment. In addition, the amenities such as basketball court, pool, sauna, and gym are very well kept and quite modern.

We had two additional friends stay on the pull out couch and so the value we got at a relatively luxurious property is very nice. I'd never pay to live in a place like this permanently, but it's designed for mid-length stays and for that this place seems perfect.

I lived at level for 2months on the olive street side. Everything was great! Staff always nice, place was kept clean, coffee/ice cream shop on lower level. BUT why I gave it 4 stars is because fire department is a block down. Every other hour they come screaming by. That s the only bad thing...

The service is terrible! The Valet Parking is rude and indifferent, they never help with the suitcases. They do not accept cards that do not have your name printed on the front of the card. The reception staff lacks service the only person who knows how to do their job is Ana.
The housekeeping is terrible, they left two towels when there were 3 people in the reserve, and there is very little staff. It took an hour to bring sheets for the sofa bed and you have to prepare it yourself.

I have stayed for 7 days every year for 3 consecutive years as a family.
The room is large and very easy to spend, supermarkets such as whole foods nearby
Daily commodities are convenient to buy, so there is no problem.
Until last year, room service was about twice a week, but now it can be entered every day,
Satisfaction is even higher!

Unbelievable experience!!! If you re in LA on business or pleasure this is the place to stay. Though it can be loud at times outside, as is every downtown residence, the amenities and the staff and just overall view on a perfect clear day was mesmerizing. I also stayed next to the room where they were shooting the movie Inner City that was renamed Roman J. Israel Esquire and got to have coffee with Denzel and Dan Gilroy the director of the movie. They liked me so much, that they gave me a part in the movie. What a wonderful experience and the money made from the film, paid for my room for my whole stay. Will always stay here when I m in LA.

This place was awesome!!! Room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Our view of the grounds was great. Housekeeping was always polite and quick with anything we requested. Reception was also very polite and accommodating. The valet guys were always very quick and awesome. I would definitely stay here again.
I would like to recommend they add a Keruig machine to the rooms and a room package which includes valet parking.

Everything you are reading in the reviews is true....

Everything you are reading in the reviews is true. Get ready for parties, long wait times for the elevator, and one or two things missing in the room. I personally did not have an issue with the parties on almost every floor or the noise levels of being in a downtown high-rise. We mostly stayed in our room for this trip, so going up and down the elevators wasn't really something we did. I did my due diligence when researching this place and I was fully aware that all this was going to be a possibility. You can easily choose to stay at a luxury hotel down the street for the same price, but the spacious suites and gorgeous views of the city really outweighed the cons for me.

The only reason why I am not giving this place 5 stars is because of the rudeness of the security staff. I was celebrating my birthday with my friends (there is a 4-person limit per room at the moment) and made sure we were as quiet and controlled as possible. Security knocked on our door THREE times asking us to quiet down, when there were literally two massive parties adjacent to our suite. Without trying to cause any trouble for my neighbors, I asked if anyone complained about the noise coming from our suite specifically or if he mistakingly thought it was coming from us and not the two parties next door. He told me it didn't matter, he just wanted to give us a "warning" about it getting late and said they've already kicked out dozens of parties in an effort to keep the noise levels down. I politely told him to come knock on our door when he's 100% sure that we're the ones causing the noise and not others on our floor; we didn't hear from security for the rest of our stay after that.

Also be aware that the deposit per night ranges from $200-$300, depending on what type of suite you book. I traveled from Las Vegas, so high deposits like that aren't uncommon when staying on the strip. However, this wasn't advertised anywhere on their website and I was a little surprised to hear this when I called in to ask about it.

Again, if you are expecting a quiet and uneventful stay, definitely don't come here. You will be severely disappointed and it will likely ruin your trip. But if you don't mind a little noise and want to stay in a modern suite with sweeping views of DTLA, definitely book this place.

Space was clean and well designed. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was really clean. Water pressure in shower wasn't strong enough for me but it was okay. There's a 24 hour gym which is awesome.

Aight.
