Labor Ready Review

Did a bunch of work for PR Spokane half of the time I wasn't paid. Come out here same thing filing a complaint to the Department of Labor. Once the office realized what had happened went out of their way to rectify the situation

They are great to work for. Great job assignments and reliable pay. I would give them 5 Starts for caring about the work staff and making sure they get paid and like their work assignments. A great fit for workers & Employers who need temporary staff that is reliable and they have "on -call " situations for workers & clients on a "what ever is needed basis." I think the Kent office works for you. I am very happy with everything.

Worked for this company for a while when I needed them the most and I easily got on my feet and moved on to bigger and bigger jobs thanks!! And also Nicole is great with helping you get on track and in order five stars

Awesome for casual work. The ladies who work here are super sharp, always kind and get straight to the point to get stuff done. I ve worked with them three times now. The pay was really low, but the jobs were easy/fun and actually enjoyable so it didn t really feel like I worked that hard for it, thus the pay is worth it. 4 hours sitting on the couch traded for $45 in my pocket, and I still have half the day left to spare. And all three times I just walked in and asked where do you want me? And they put me to work in. No interviewing with hiring managers or commitments, just a simple screening process and they let you do your thing. Would recommend to anyone looking to put some cash in their pocket in their spare time.

This is the first job they sent me on and I've been here for a month not bad

People ready in a hole used to be a better company. They no longer deal with skilled or even semi-skilled work. All they have are crummy low-wage construction cleanup tickets. The seven years that I've been on and off of this company I have never obtained a full-time job through these people. But they have prevented me from putting in applications in several places due to a binary contract that you have to have in order to work with them. You cannot apply for work at the places they send you to. Furthermore, they've gone to an APP exclusive policy which means no one shows up at an office in the mornings, which means you don't know who they're going to be sending you without to a job site. Most of the time it's someone you don't get along with who's going to disappear and leave you with all the work. All in all the company's stock is going down ,probably due to poor decisions.

So I called in to ask about how to use the app. I got the rudest person named Keisha who said that the person who set you up should have walked you throw it. I explained that they didn't she got an attitude with me because of it. Then blurted out something, I asked her to repeat it she got even more of an attitude. Then told me to figure it out and hung up. I called back and asked for a manager and she said non was available. So then I asked why was she acting how she was when all I wanted was help with the app. She then said she has other calls to answer and hung up on me.....smh

These people are awesome. I can tell they really fight for you. I am very grateful for such an amazing staff.. they truly get you the work you need.

A great place to get temp work, where hopefully it will lead to full time employment.

They always do the right thing. The Kent office is treats you like family.

Had a black man outside, surround by 50 white men, burying trees and digging up dirt. U they me if this is something that should be happening in 2017

They try to low-ball your pay so they can get more money on their end. They call you 4-5 hours while your sleep asking if your still going to work, when you don't answer, they don't even tell you, that you're replaced. You go all the way to the job site, & can't do the job. You waste time & money. When you call the office, they laughing in the background.

If you need help with peopleready, this is the branch that can help out. Very helpful people..

I dont recommend this temp agency to anyone.
There is 100^ favoritism in the Kent and Seattle branch The pay is vary low compared to other agencies and the work is never really what they say it is. They never pay on time staff is extremely rude with the exceptions of 1 or 2 in the office. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! They really need to make changes!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! RUN!

No change! I still see alerts come through without pay amounts or important info so the employee can decide if the job works for them. I feel they do this purposely. I feel there is alot of favoritism going on in the Kent location. For some reason it seems to happen more in the aftrtnoom/ evening
I really hope people Ready makes better choices in staffing. Good and great customer service equals more people working

Still NO CHANGE in Kent office!!
Still NO work

I accepted a job on the app. 5 days ago. Get up drive all the way only to be sent home because the Kent office made a mistake and overbooked. I called and spoke to Jill the manager?? And was told I would be paid for 2 hours. They could care less about the mistake they made. They really should pay the entire shift, if they did I'm sure the carelessness in this office would stop. Just awful to treat an employee this way when all I did was show up to work.

Takes forever to pay out and takes time and if you ask for bus fair and standid they don't care at all

Due to a completely rude untrained staff member im giving a one star. They use to have really nice caring thoughtful selfless people working at the front desk here in Kent.... but now they all moved away for some reason and a female by the name of Keisha omg completely rude hateful heartless women. Words can't describe her sour bitterness. How is she employed anywhere???? When I call in to ask im my email was recieved and if I should be paid out she all I'd the sudden got support upset as if I was asking her to take money from her mother and deposit it into my account. I had just worked 8 hours and I called 1 time just to see if my email was recieved. She goes on a rant basically yelling saying "starting Wednesday your company won't even be paying until the next day after working. There's a bunch of other people who wanna be paid out too!! You need to be more patient I'll get to it when I get to it..... " I wasn't even asking about Wednesday's paycheck im asking about today... Monday... I'm just so confused why sombody would be mad while they're getting paid to do the job they chose to apply for. I wasn't requesting for her to do anything outside the realm of her daily jobs tasks. Anyways 1 star for keishas bad attitude

Horrible temp agency to work for. They Never tell you exactly the accurate job descriptiom if no one has accepted work through job app. For example a digging job they will say is clean up and when you get to the job site they have you dig. They also have dropped the pay dramatocly . The pay is poor! I have also experienced favoritism . If you aren't one of the staffs favorite. Good luck getting a good job.or even work at all I made a formal complaint and showed proof of favoritism and immediately right after. I couldn't get work nothing was done. Instead they treated me like I didn't understand the rules . unfortunately I worked through the agency for a few years and saw the injustices and favoritism at this company and I hope that things change .I've asked that they record calls and have staff sign off on assignments so they can track any favoritism or retaliation and nothing has been done. I truly hope that no one else experiences what I have at the Kent and Seattle branch. I would NEVER rrefer anyone to this agency . There are others that will pay BETTER and treat employees with more RESPECT. Good Luck!

Today I called in to ask if they had work and I was told yes they did as soon as she asked my name she then put me on hold and then came back on an told me they had no work at all. I find this odd! The women i was speaking to was trying to listen to someone instructing her on what to say. She finally said they had a warehouse job and i asked her why i couldn't do this and then she said i needed the qualifications and i told her i had done this job in the past then she said i needed a background check and i told her i can come in and do that and she said that the job would be ending soon. This is BS!!! Clearly they dont want to help me get work because if they did thw response would have been different like " come on in and lets get the paperwork started and if this job isnt available at least you will be ready for the next" These staff are unprofessional in my opinion and i definitely feel they do not want to help me. Well congratulations!!! I will NEVER try again to ask for work at this companyand will NEVER recommendmy family and friends!!. I just hope no one else has to experience what i went through!

They keep you working and all the employees are great

They definitely got some favoritism bs going on all they keep offering me is 12-13 an hour. When i text back about a 15/hr position on up (and i text back immediately) the job been filled when i call due to no text back. I mess wit express professionals down the street in kent off central and northwest industrial staffing down the street as well both will plug u wit a job asap if u need it. Put it like this i saw people ready offer job for shoveling snow 12.50 /hr, express offered 20/hr literally same job. I aint goin back to people ready they liars and got they lil favorites i can do without all that frfr let the people at the front desk keep makin pennies as well. I go union soon start off @ 29.82 /hr let them people dwell on that while they get minimum benefits and small pay checks also if u work their auction job dont let them lie to u about 3 hrs pay go to l&i and set them straight. They say the company only pays 3 hrs. If u work u get paid 4 plain and simple minimum its the law and the company and people readys business aint yours people ready is your employer and supposed to give u 4. Dont believe me call l&i see for urself. Literally.

This is full of lairs and this place needs to be closed. I was given a work ticket to go to work I was told there is no work. So I contacted the office. They said they can't prove I was there. But I did prove I was there on my Google maps. Lol still won't pay me.

It's been 2 weeks still no pay and they also won't let me work. See how these people treat their employees. Workers be warned you get better treat from other places. Don't come here. Real hurtful thing is I couldn't buy husband Christmas gift for our first year being married. You think they care. Nope

I had a very last minute request to hire a large number of workers, and Suzette with People Ready was able to step in and provide a team of hard working individuals to complete the task. Suzette went out of her way to help me, was very friendly and responsive, and overall just a joy to work with. THANK YOU!!

Tiera at the branch office has the worst mouth and attitude of anyone. She sent me out on a job at 5am which when I showed up no one was there. The two point of contacts were not able to be reached. She got angry with me as if it was my fault. Lied saying she would have a manager call me which never happened and when I called back 9 hours later she continued to lie and be rude in front of her co workers.

I usually don t write reviews but Kent office is by far the worst branch. Every run in I have ever had has been from TIERA. She has short me hours, money, I have lost time going to places she sent me too only to not have any work once arriving. Tiera really is the only one at this branch that can not do her job. You can tell she hates working for the company and feels entitled.

Tiera really should not be someone who interacts with people as her mouth is childish and ignorant. Each time I have started my conversations with her on a very polite note only to be met with instant aggression and lack of integrity. LYING TO WORKERS AND NOT OWNING YOUR MISTAKES IS UNPROFESSIONAL TIERA!

The jobs pay minimums... Be cautious with the payroll department, they paid me double one day and didn't pay me the day I worked a couple of times now. And another thing, just because they add you to a work list doesn't necessarily mean you get to work when you show up at the job site. I was sent home with two hours pay one day and called the nite before another time asking me not to come in, they overbooked that day.

Very unprofessional place to work. They lie to you about jobs. They show a lot of favoritism to certain employee. They do background checks on people and send them out before the background check is complete and call you to tell you you can't work. Very unprofessional service. And don't get into an argument with them either they have the power to remove you from a job over petty dissagreements. If you have families and people to depend on you don't rely on this staffing company

Cool place to find good work. And some good pay. Give them a try and get some money in yo pockets

I love everyone in there except Keisha...she is rude as hell to preople...today I had to put her in her place by asking her if she got an attitude problem, an when I ask here that question she dropped it down a notch...from now on I will be reporting everything rude an disrespectful about Keisha to Jill...I loooove Mecca an Amy, there my faves...but that Keisha need to get another job if she don't like customer service...enough said, an I hope Jill sees this post

On April 10th 2019 I went to an Auction job for this Office. I showed up on time, did a great job and, left when they told me the, job was done. The next day the office did not pay me and could not find my name on the list. I was rudely told on my second call. "When we find the Hours you'll get paid. DON"T WORK FOR THIS OFFICE-VERY GHETTO ATTITUDES.
