Very smooth process! And very tasteful amenities. I'd advise against going onto the balcony if you're afraid of heights though. Lots of overwhelmingly clear glass is a bit of a fear of heights.

Bar none the best hotel experience I have ever had!

Location is prime: walking distance to all DTLA sights and museums, and Whole Foods and Rite Aid around the corner.

Yes, the valet is expensive! But there are several public parking lots/garages on the same block as the hotel. The orange garage next door is your best bet ($28 for an entire weekend if you don't move your car.)

Everything else was pure bliss. The room was impeccable and completely stocked (bring Tupperware if you intend to cook and have leftovers.) It has EVERYTHING else--wine glasses, all essential cutlery+cooking utensils, even a potato peeler! Incredible appliances.

The rooms and amenities are top notch, impeccably maintained, and absolutely gorgeous. The furniture and beds are better than what I have at home, and the views cannot be beat. Even the sofa bed is phenomenal!

The staff is friendly, conversational, kind, and ready to respond to your every need courteously and promptly. Everyone I interacted with in person and over the phone was an absolute delight--even at 2 am (talkin' about you, Kimberly!)

LEVEL is worth every single penny per night and then some.
Cannot recommend highly enough, 12 out of 10 in every category!

I got to stay here two nights as a happy accident. It's amazing. The rooms look like something out of an Ikea catalog, and are fully stocked with absolutely top of the line appliances. Having a washer and dryer in the room was especially clutch. All of the staff was extremely professional and friendly. Protip - there are prepaid parking lots surrounding the hotel that are much less expensive than the $35/day valet service offered in-house.

This apartment is situated in a great location since it's very close to LA live & Staples Center along with all the bars and restaurants that are in downtown LA. This apartment and everything about it is just great, from the very modern decor to the balcony that overlooks the city you can't go wrong with booking this place for your stay. Of course it is a little on the pricey end, but for a secial occasion, you definitely get what you pay for.

I was actually visiting a friend who was here for work and this place is super nice it looked super shiek. If I wasn't a local I would want to stay here for visits. I m pretty sure it's on the higher rate for rooms but it's so much better staying here, as if youre at a mini resort.

We visited to attend the rooftop movie night. Oh my goodness, I left that event wanting to move in to this building. The interior/exterior design is stunning. There are so many amenities, including, but not limited to: giant Jenga, giant connect four, hot tub, pool, basketball courts, sauna, steam room, barbeque area, tables, and more!! I'll definitely come back for another movie night, and I wish I could move here!

Their valet service is always prompt. They have nice gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, sauna. I really enjoyed staying here for a week. Housekeeping service is excellent and I like how whole food store and Ralph's are close enough to walk. They are fully furnished so only thing you need is clothes and toothbrush and food I guess :)

Genuinely fabulous place for a break in LA, great apartments, fantastic pool. Highlight was swimming at 7am on a Sunday morning surrounded by buildings just chilling.

So good we are back in 10 days!

My fiance and I frequently visit LA, and after years of staying with family or in your typical hotel, we decided to look into staying at LEVEL. We'd never stayed in a short term rental before (they offer long term rentals as well), and didn't know what to expect. To be honest, at one point, we were contemplating whether we should cancel our booking and stay with a relative. We are SO glad we decided to check it out!!

When we pulled up to the building, all uncertainty was immediately wiped away. Located in the heart of DTLA, LEVEL is a brand new hotel that feels more like a luxurious condo with upscale finishings and just overall great people. We were greeted by a wonderful group of cheerful staff and treated with the utmost kindness and respect. Everyone who was working in the building looked as though they were genuinely happy to be there and were eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

After checking in, a young man helped us bring our luggage to our room and gave us a quick spiel of the building and the amenities they include. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THEIR AMENTIES!! My only regret is not staying longer and hanging out in their wonderful facilities every night. Beautiful, full-sized basketball court, a gym that makes other fitness centers look like they need a face lift, beautiful lounge with outdoor fire pits and tons of seating for a large party, heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna/steam room, free WIFI, weekly housekeeping and way, way more!

When we got to our room, our jaws dropped. As soon as we stepped into the unit, I turned to my fiance and told him, "This is my dream home". Everything about it was perfect... It was sleek, it was spacious, there was beautiful white, polished marble throughout the main living area, and new laminate flooring in the room. The room had many drawers and compartments for us to make use of. The kitchen was a dream and had tons of cabinets and countertop space. It was all a dream...

The developer and interior decorators were extremely smart about how they created and furnished this space. The square layouts showed no wasted space and the furnishings put in were minimal, yet was put in with the consideration of the guest in mind. There was ample seating for guests, two TVs (one in the bedroom) and a large balcony with some outdoor furniture. We very much enjoyed being able to end our day with a glass of wine on the balcony.

Realistically, we were in town for a vacation and didn't expect to want to stay in as much as we did. We came with the intention of being out of the home quite a bit and simply coming back at night to sleep. What we ended up doing (for almost half of our time in LA) was walk around the area to grab food, come back and enjoy our meals in the comforts of our beautiful temporary home.

Needless to say, my fiance and I never wanted to leave.. It was devastating to have to give back our room keys and even three weeks after our departure, I'm still thinking about and mentioning 'that time we were at LEVEL' to everyone who will listen. I'm already planning my next trip out there and can't wait to be back at the LEVEL apartments again.

My girlfriend was staying there and had an interview the next day! I called and the sweetest person, Wendy, answered! I asked if there was a gift store or shop nearby so I can send a gift package for when she arrives! Wendy simply asked her name and said....we will take care of it! Simply amazing! From here on out I won't stay anywhere else when I come to visit!

Where do I start? I m not sure if I booked a luxury hotel or a club house. It was massive parties every night! Loud music! A ton of people! Loud yelling! Smoke detectors constantly going off! Tons of liquor bottles in the hallway the next morning. Constantly calling front desk with no answer! I checked out in the middle of my vacation after two nights and wasn t once told sorry for the inconvenience one time. I was told that I ll receive my money for the night I didn t stay and still got charged for it. Called the hotel, she told me she see the note where I shouldn t have been charged. Told me she was going to refund me and I still haven t gotten it. My bank doesn t see it either. This was over a week ago! This made my vacation horrible. After packing our things up and putting them in the car we made a quick run to the mall where someone stole all of our things. If my stay would have went the way I expected at LEVEL, that would ve never happened. I been trying to talk to a supervisor but he hasn t returned my call from last week Tuesday! Horrible horrible horrible. Not worth it! Furniture had stains that I had to crop out of my pictures!

I went to watch a movie on the 4th floor roof held by Rooftop Cinema Cub. The place is amazing! The staff are great and super helpful (since I was late) and got me to the movie quickly. The deck chairs were super comfortable and the bluetooth headsets sounded great and I didn't have to be annoyed by anybody talking. AAA+ experience! Highly recommend!

Love this place. After our first stay we decided to stay multiple times after. This is our go to hotel now when we stay in LA. The staff is really friendly and the the rooms make you feel like you are living at home. Plus you cannot beat the location. It is right in the heart of DTLA. Walking distance to anywhere you want to go.

Clean rooms, spacious, and friendly staff. Housekeeping is kept at a minimal as it is apartment style living. Definitely worth the stay if you can get a decent rate. Location was also Central to DTLA.

The room service is not very good, there is no shower cap with the counter, the room cleaning is only a few times, the cleaning does not add shampoo bath products, the water pressure is too small, many shortcomings.

This hotel is not the best for long term stay. The cleaning was inconsistent everyday. Some days they did not replenish the coffee, soaps, and tissues. We had to ask the cleaner while they were here working on the room. Our dirty towels from the night before did not get taken away. The cleaner spilled shampoo without cleaning it up. Had a nice surprise when i returned to my suite. Some of the furnitures in the room are wobbly. Also didnt come with slippers for the suite. If the hotel wouldnt supply it they should at least notify the customer beforehand. We had one night that our neighboring guests were loud until 2 am one day and they did nothing about it. A series of little mistakes really build up. Few good things about this place is the location and the valet guys. The valet guys are super friendly. The hotel could do more to be better. I won't find out since i will probably never return again. Good luck being mediocre

Absolutely NO customer service what so ever. I was billed in error for parking. It s like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phones. When you finally get someone, they ll lie and say they ll resolve the issue to get you off the phone. Not to mention the cleanliness of the rooms. Dirty beddings and bed bugs.

If you are looking for a club scene and do not mind bed bug bites, this is the place to be. I personally suggest not to book any rooms here. Save your time and your money!!!!!

I am writing this email to communicate my remarkable experience at your property in LA over the weekend. This was my first trip out of Vegas since all of the craziness in this world began and the down turn began half-way into the road trip. I called LEVELS in the morning to confirm a 2 bedroom corner suite that I d booked was all set (trying to get a floor number) and was told everything was set but couldn t confirm the floor. About half way into, and getting a call to say due to maintenance that my reservation would get split into two 1 bedroom suites. We arrived late on Saturday to see about 25 people standing outside being checked by security (it looked like a nightclub) for guest entrance to the building. Valet let us know they would not be offering their services but that it was still the same $60/night for parking (almost suggesting we might want to park elsewhere and not pay). When trying to unload everything near the lobby was repeatedly asked to move my car. At check-in I asked again to see if there was no way to keep the 2 bedroom or maybe get a 3 bedroom. None of these were options I got the room keys for the two rooms and signed the room agreement detailing music/quiet hours and a $1,000 fine for smoking or evidence of it in the room. The lobby was very loud and the elevator area was crowed with people waiting to go upstairs. The multiple signs that marked that it was 1 person per elevator or everyone in the same party/family were completely ignored and no one was enforcing that. Once we got into the elevator 2 other groups of people joined. People were easily touching. We got to our floor which stank of marijuana smoke and there was thumping music coming from a few different rooms on that floor (I think it was 9). After getting into the room quickly noticed that the floors were sticky (maybe beer?) there were no pillows on the bed, Netflix had been left on either from the last guest or cleaning crew, the fan was on in the bathroom and toilet seat was up. Pictures of all of that are attached. There were also no soaps in either room. People were partying on balconies and in their rooms and you could hear it from any deck. I ve attached a video from the hallway. The following morning we had coffee and watched as one of the above rooms started throwing balloons filled with confetti off their balcony (probably around 30 of them) and as we left for brunch around 11am, noticed that someone had left their leftover McDonalds chicken tenders near the elevator windows and all over the ground. I mentioned everything to the front desk who apologized and offered no compensation for the quality of the property/room/experience but said he would block out a 2-bedroom room as originally booked for the last night. We got back around 9:30pm (did not want to stay at or near the property) and was told by that team that there was no record of a hold and that they d struggle to find an available room. We moved to a new room (I believe on the 21st floor) which was communicated as a 2 bedroom suite. It was a 1 bedroom suite with a second bed behind closet doors. In this room the fire alarm low battery warning was going off and we called down to reception who said they were going to get in touch with maintenance to have someone come up. After about an hour I called back and was told by the front desk they couldn t reach anyone and to just unplug it entirely from the wall otherwise it will just beep all night .

Stayed here 2 days for my granddaughters preschool graduation. It was fabulous! Movie theater with popcorn , swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, basketball courts, bar. State of the art stove, refrigerator, washer & dryer, dishes, pots & pans, robes, beds. It was a dreamy experience. They had a few celebrities there on the DL.

The outdoor basketball court is incredible, especially in DTLA. I had a long stay at the level and always felt taken care of, especially by Aaron in valet and the general manager whose name escapes me at the moment.

We love this place as our downtown base during our holidays. The staff was friendly and service on the nose. We cannot complain. Rooms are roomy in either the one or two bedroom apartments. It is also close to many amenities down town. I highly recommend it!

You get the intended quality of the nomenclature of what is expected from DTLA Luxury Living... For the most part, no expense was spared and the core of the staff embodies the reason why we are willing to pay more when it translates to overall satisfaction...

Therefore, if you believe that you get what you pay for; then you should find my comments very useful...

Better than the rest... Dwarfing places the Americana at Brand and Ritz Carlton...

Comfortable atmosphere that reminds you to go camping after your experience here.
Long wrap around bar in the main room with a behind the curtain bar lurking in the back of the restaurant.

Level furnished is the best. We had the most comfortable stay in the 2 bedroom on the
12 the floor. The staff is very friendly. The views were amazing, the apartment was kept clean & the location was perfect for dining. There is an ice cream shop is a must try. They have an array of delicious ice creams. The coffee shop down is good. We tried their almond croissants. They are open @ 7 am. They are good restaurants to dine closeby. It's an 18 minute drive to Universal studios.

I have been charged for the room twice. They do not answer emails or your web form. They do not respond in Spanish by phone, so the problem is not solved. The facilities on the other hand are good but if they use your card that way it is not worth it

I have stayed at level one when coming to Los Angeles since they first opened. Previously stayed at Watermarke down the street and watched this building be built from the ground up. I can't say enough good things about Level One and their staff of professionals. It is now a destination where I bring my Grand daughter as she loves Hope Park and the surrounding areas. I have no idea why anyone would go to a Hotel when they can come here and have a home in a fun and safe environment. One night or long term, they have my vote!

We booked this location on Airbnb and it was awful...

We booked this location on Airbnb and it was awful. First off, they didn't give us the space we paid for. We paid for a 2 bedroom executive corner suite and they gave us a basic corner suite which is cheaper than what we purchased. Check-in took an hour and the "valet" parking was terrible. We had to sit there in the car for a few minutes before shouting for help from someone. They just gave us a ticket and told us to park ourselves in the valet parking spots, then tried to charge us $45 for that. Additionally, the listing on Airbnb said parking was $30 and I had to talk to the valet parking desk, the front desk twice, and call them twice to get them to honor that price. They still charged me $45 and I had to call them to issue a refund. There were literally dozens of people waiting for elevators that were taking 20+ minutes for the doors to even open, so when the doors did open, 12+ people would pack into one elevator, despite COVID.
Now, all that I've mentioned I can give them pass for because there was a decent amount of people checking in and errors happen. But when we arrived, the place was disgusting. There was no toilet paper, no paper towels, no soap, no towels, or hand towels. There were hairs stuck on the kitchen counters, spills on the countertops that weren't cleaned up. Cigarette butts on the balcony. The worst thing was that the second bedroom was disgusting. The blankets were balled up in the middle of the bed and there were pubes and stains on it. I called them for toilet paper before realizing the other issues and when the guy from the hotel arrived, I showed him the other issues. He guaranteed us hed fix the issues, but an hour passed until I called the front desk. They told me they were working on it and 20 minutes later they came with a nonfitted top sheet and one towel. I called again to let them know we were still missing items and they sent some more toilet paper, paper towels, towels, another nonfitted top sheet, and robes. So we were still missing hand soap and we had to make our own bed, which included stripping the old nasty bedding off.
It was disgusting. We paid $440 for this space for one night. We booked it on Airbnb because it had windows and both bedrooms had phenomenal views but what we got was entirely different. The second bedroom was barely bigger than the bed and had no windows! The only redeeming quality was that we still had a decent view, but it was absolutely not as pictured and not worth the risk considering we are in a pandemic and we had to be in such close quarters with people on the elevators AND being in a room that clearly wasn't cleaned before we arrived. Avoid this place, considering the cost and how disorganized it is.

This is one of those special places that manages to tick literally every box. First of all the apartments are spectacular and stunning, they come with literally every amenity you could hope for and really do feel like a home away from home (although they may make you jealous as most homes i've seen aren't as nice or fantastically furnished). I have to also give special mention to Aaron and Mo on the valet team who showed me repeated kindness and flexibility as well as being proper gentlemen and professionals at the same time. Front desk and management were on point and there literally is nothing one could say about this place that isn't hugely positive. Keep up the good work Level Team! This is not your run of the mill serviced apartments, this is 5* hotel level standards of service and quality.

Let me start by saying I was not paid to do this! ...

Let me start by saying I was not paid to do this! I rarely leave reviews, but this time I m going out of my way to do so. In a word, Level is AMAZING. We stayed there for several months, and couldn t find a single bad thing about the place. Everything is first-class and the rooms and premise are spotless. Location is great, the building amenities are awesome, and groceries and restaurants are right at the corner. But the best part is the staff I have never come across a more well-oiled machine than the staff at Level from booking with Colin and Keisha in sales, to the incredible front desk team (those names I have to include because they were THAT memorable - Zack, Jason, Ross, Ana, Catalina, Brittany, Cynthia, Kim, Erin, Aaron ) to the maintenance, housekeeping, and parking staff headed by Mo all I can say is WOW you truly feel their sincerity in always wanting to make sure your stay is perfect and they do that job exceedingly well. Congrats to Level and their staff on a job beyond well-done. If you were looking for a review to convince you to book at Level, read no further THIS is that review!

It was not acceptable our first room was such a mess not cleaned at all. They never cleaned it their was trash everywhere, birthday signs , hair everywhere, the tables were not wiped it was disgusting but then They gave us a new room they did not have blankets for the bed. The pool was nice but they did not have any towels anywhere we kept asking no one came. In our room their was only one roll of toilet paper when 4 of my friends were there, we called room service no one came. Their were no bathroom towels to take a shower only 2 we called customer service again no one came till 4 hours later. People their do not care it seems like and it may look nice but I don t recommend staying here. To add to that are car in the Parking lot across the street people jumped on it for no reason so the area doesn t help either. It s a very nice hotel but service and area not so great.
