I saw two different PTs when I was there and they were great. They helped with my issues never letting me feel like a failure or a dork. Bless them both..

I was so impressed with this place. I had to take my daughter here today and the staff were very friendly and we didn t have to wait long at all. Highly recommend it.
Quick to be seen by friendly and helpful medical staff.
Having scratched my eye on a hike in the canyon I sought treatment at the only immediate care facility with in 70 miles. I was very pleased that there was one in Grand Canyon Village. I was pleasantly greeted my the admitting receptionist who efficiently took my insurance information and medical history. The attending nurse Janet was wonderful; very warm, caring and personable, and the FNP Jo Ann who examined and prescribed treatment for my eye had a warm and factual bedside manner.
I was very pleased with my experience.
Thank you!

Stopped by with my 9 yr old son this morning, he was suffering with acute altitude sickness. Nurse Jay was amazing!!!! Dr. Cooper was knowledgeable and ensured he wasn't also dealing with an asthma situation as well. I could not have been happier with the attention and care he recieved. Everyone was incredibly friendly as well.Thank you to all who helped us this morning at North Country Healthcare!
Longest office visit I've ever experienced. There was only one person ahead of us and we waited over 1.5 hours to be seen by the doctor. Meanwhile they also let a woman who was throwing up in a bag sit in the small waiting room with us. The doctor himself was nice enough but he rambled on about every different little thing, I see why the wait was so long. I had to cut him off to get to the point multiple times, and our room visit was still about 45 minutes long. He also made several oddly opinionated comments completely unrelated to the reason for the visit, I was not impressed. Then their pharmacy didn't carry a Tamiflu prescription so I'd have to drive to Flagstaff to fill it. Very annoying, frustrating, long visit - should have just driven to Flagstaff to see a regular doctor in the first place.
The care and the staff are great now have to find a cardiologist in the area do to high altitude affecting heart issues.
I had an amazing and pleasant experience with Dr. Myers. I was seen on an emergency basis and was diagnosed with Influenza A. I was there visiting from out of town and was worried I wouldn t be able to fly home. I am really grateful to Dr. Myer s. His exam was thorough; his plan was well thought out; and his care delivered very kindly. Thank you so much.
Don't get sick here or have an emergency here.
The PA or NP named Teresa was absolutely judgemental of me. I have a disorder in my bile duct that makes me very sick from time to time. Had to take an ambulance over to the clinic and then call another ambulance to treat me. The 2nd ambulance professional knows me, and let me know that Teresa was not treating me well, and was making fun of my pain. Unbelievable. The ambulance professional had to let Teresa know that I needed more pain medication before our 83 mile drive, otherwise she wouldn't have cared if i suffered. You should be ashamed of your actions. I pray i never have to go to this clinic again. It is your right, as a patient, to be TREATED. TREATED WITHOUT YOUR JUDGEMENT. Janet on the other hand...the RN, is amazing!
Should be open 24 hours, or have someone on call. Went camping 4th of July weekend at Mather campground. My Wife busted her elbow in the shower and was bleeding really bad. This caused her to faint and fall on her face. She ended up having a really bad black eye, a cut on her hand, and a gash in her elbow. This happened at 6:30, I showed up to the clinic to see that it had been closed for 30 mins. I live over 500 miles away and I had zero cell service so I had zero clue where the nearest hospital was. All of this information should be listed on the clinic door.
Our care was unbelievable, Dr. Laurie Sharrow was the most helpful, caring, and competent health professional we have ever had contact with. We are so grateful to everyone at the clinic.
New girl Tammy at pharmacy failed to call me back regarding insurance problems I was having getting an Rx filled. If she had called me to begin with or returned my calls in a timely fashion I could have fixed the issues sooner but because she never did my Rx is going to be 5-6 days late. She said she called my cell but I never got a call or a voicemail. I called multiple times and even requested that she communicate better as my Rx is a time sensitive issue. I tried confirming my number 3-4 times on the phone and in person. For some reason she ended up calling my work (I number I didn't give out), on my day off. All these problems could have been avoided if she called me back at the right number and left a voicemail on day 1.
I visited this office in late October of 2019 and was provided with good care. Everyone was very nice and good at their jobs and the wait wasn't too bad. About an hour with four people before me and only 1 doctor. Dr Cooper was great. He was knowledgeable about my issue and I felt very comfortable with him and appreciated the help I received.
Had some type of flu they were able to set an IV there to rehydrate and I didn't have to go to the hospital. Doctor Myers was great and seemed to do a thorough exam. Gave me samples and a script. Sent me on my way. I'm from out of town and had an eight hour drive ahead of me so it was a big deal to be able to get going as soon as possible. I truly appreciate the care that was given to me.
