It is in December, it is cold even in the hotel the heating is supposedly maximum and we are still obliged to lunch with scarf and coat, otherwise we must book the restaurant at least 3 days before even for people Who are at the hotel and the room service with a 1h30 wait, on the whole we are very far from a 5 star ....

5 star hotel well worth its 5 stars.
All the staff is very careful, you can go there with your eyes closed!
We stayed at 2 and only took advantage of the SPA area (marine baths, hammam, and sauna). A solarium is available with a sea view and the fitness room is available 24 hours a day.
As for the bar, nothing to complain about, you can go and sip your cocktail by the sea or sit inside.

Everything is well established regarding the COVID health measures.

If I had to make a criticism, I found a lack of clarity in the room service, there is a sign in the minibar that tells me the water and free coffee available, I was told to go through room service and I had to pay the bill at the end of my stay, I think it would be good to clarify this point

Very welcoming staff.
Poorly maintained room, parquet with deteriorated planks, bathroom with blackened seal and toilet filled with limestone.
Meals via room service extremely expensive given the quality of the meal.
Very pleasant and appreciable pool spa.

Overall pleasant hotel but not in relation to price and quality compared to other establishments.

The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the staff is smiling and very nice but the food at the Brasserie is simply an insult to the customer. A disaster! Despite all the negative comments, the management seems to have nothing to do with it. She thanks for the remarks and promises to improve as this should be part of their customer service policy: Make believe the customer is listened to. It is simply unacceptable to have such a Brasserie for a hotel of this category!

More than a month ago I informed the hotel that for professional reasons I was unable to come to Trouville and that I should cancel my reservation. Unfortunately I made a non-cancellable booking and this was the attitude of the hotel, despite the long notice. The answer of the hotel was that I could try to recover part of my reservation by my cancellation insurance, which is wrong, because only valid for medical reasons.
I must admit that I absolutely do not appreciate the attitude of the hotel and Sofitel will not be my first choice in the future.

Excellent stay and was met by a very friendly person at the doors who parked our car for us. We arrived at 5pm and picked up our keys. We had a 6yr old and 4yr old. It would have been nice to have their Spa robes and slippers waiting for us in the room along with the adult ones rather than having to ring down and wait 1hr for them to arrive. I would have liked to have been told about the 25 Euro charge for the parking before checking out. If you are paying 400 Euro's for a room then I believe complimentary paring would be of benefit. You should have USB charging facilities for phones available for customers in the bedrooms, I had to call down for a charger that didn't end up working. An alarm clock in the room would be great.

We had a great stay and your staff were excellent, the above are not meant to be criticism's but ways you might be able to improve an already great hotel.

Wonderful hotel!
We had a very good stay. The team is young but caring for you and very professional.
The rooms are elegantly decorated with sea view.
We particularly appreciated the spa area and seawater pool, despite all the constraints imposed by COVID.
Unmissable address to stay in Normandy!

A mixed stay, a little incoherent. A superior room with a view of the port. Not even 1m between the bed and the wall or cabinet. The lamp above the bed is not straight, On the other hand very spacious bathroom!
We had announced that we were married 2 days before, we were offered a bottle of cider (thank you!) But we have a word of happy wedding anniversary ...
We were on the 5th floor, from the 4th to the 5th no elevator, either we are young no problem, but the stairs were not worthy of a 5 star ... Paint crumbling everywhere, black marks everywhere on the walls...
We want to put the breakfast order card and in fact ours is already filled ... The staff being top we take a new one. Still the same nothing serious but not worthy of a 5 *
In the evening, head to the bar, the decor is superb, the staff perfect, then the restaurant. The star restaurant being closed from Monday to Wednesday, we have dinner at the first restaurant. Furniture worthy of a banal brasserie, white table without tablecloth, white chair without fabrics, Cold. on the other hand the meal is just extra!
The next day direction the care again the elevator not worthy of a 5 stars, rust all over the door ...
The treatments are quite pleasant.
Finally here at 1500euros the 2 nights with meals and treatments we expected much better for a 5 *. The staff are up to par anyway.

Good morning all
We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Cures Marines from July 11-14, 2020.
This hotel is certainly pleasant and well placed, but the service is far from the standard of the 5 stars that we are used to frequenting.
To begin with, the hotel restaurant was simply closed during the July 14 bridge, obviously the management invokes the covid and the staff rest, but must be reminded that we are in a seaside resort at a very busy period. high attendance and not assuming the service of the restaurant on the eve of a public holiday is just unacceptable when one calls oneself a "luxury establishment".
And what about the breakfast service on Monday July 13 where the coffee arrives when we don't have the cups, the omelets arrive without the cutlery, and when the cutlery and the cups arrive, the omelets and the coffee are largely cold? , while our pastries are found on the table next door. Obviously it was a bit the same at all the tables and we saw an episode worthy of "wing or thigh" but not 5 star.
And it is not the snacking service that will restore the image, where the snack ordered with the drinks arrives with such a delay that you even had time to have forgotten your order.
Let's not talk about the access to the swimming pool, of which we inform you of the restrictions ... by email ... charming for a 5 stars where we could at least inform the customers on their arrival by offering access slots .
During this stay, we had the impression of a "sloppy" service, and if we fully understand that it is necessary to make up for the margins lost due to the confinement, we accept it for the neighborhood pizzeria but not in a establishment with 5 stars.

A very good hotel, well placed with a very good quality service, a pleasant spa despite the spa time limitation of 1h00.
The only downside is the room service which is not up to the level of such a beautiful hotel. A little more diversity in the choice of drinks as well as on the menu would be appreciated.

Hello.
My stay was great. The staff was eager to make me feel at home.
And it's successful. I really felt at home.
The whole hotel gives the feeling that we were the only guests. So much attention was there.
It's a great experience. A good example of high-end French hospitality.
Hat. I recommend your establishment.
I know this is not the purpose of your establishment but I would have liked a classic pool to do some swimming.

For this Valentine's Day weekend and the reopening of this beautiful establishment, everything was absolutely perfect.
Spacious room and modern and elegant decoration.
Very attentive staff, a young and very motivated team, meals served in room service (necessarily) a short menu but fine and very delicately prepared dishes.
The breakfast and meal ordering system, very efficient and easy to use.
Of course, we would have liked to take advantage of the restaurant and the Thalasso area, but we have the firm intention of coming back to prolong the pleasure.

After several stays, we are finally disappointed. Always a detail or a missing service: order of birthday flowers delivered 2 days later and invoiced. Complaint from us for a commercial gesture. Last stay, the bar closes at 11:30 p.m. during an extended weekend and exceptional weather conditions. No longer possible to have a cocktail or a glass of champagne, even in room service. Bottle compulsory for room service.
Since its opening, the setting of the bar has been very pleasant, but without exceptional cocktails. Only great classics, just correct. What a shame in such a beautiful setting .....

An impressive hotel with an exceptional spa with sea water, a multitude of seaweed treatments, seawater and innovative treatments such as whole body cryotherapy are offered and are worthwhile . By far the best breakfast I've had in a long time with a fruit bar, a very high quality table service. The only dark spot is unfortunately the price of the stay but it is largely understood given the happiness that reigns in this place.

I loved this restored hotel on the seafront next to the Casino. Our room was delightful, breakfast was a little puzzling but good once sorted, they may have reorganised this as others found it the same.

Ideal location excellent bedding, some architectural fads in the design of the bathroom, a reading lamp HS, super pedestrian access super lousy = a kind of small terrace abandoned that must serve as a smoking room staff shows you the way, a constant stink in the lobby. A second 5-star opinion because we sincerely believe me and my wife that this hotel deserves two opinions and we are happy to share our experience :) the suite is great (322) the barman (Jean baptiste) gave us nice surprises with beautiful creations in terms of cocktails and really surprised us really happy and happy with this little break, the restaurant is simply divine on all points. For the place, almost nothing to complain about, the hotel is beautiful, the brasserie modern and beautiful, BUT HERE WE came eat at Gastro, we are already being asked to come for 7:30 p.m. after that it's impossible (there are not several services it seems to me in a gastro so still not understood this schedule ........)
We arrive, the staff is friendly, and we say the evening will be up to the setting ........
Although we are by the sea, not everyone likes seafood, I would like to point out, I do not like land-sea mix or seafood at all ......... .... Overall I'd say we had an okay stay, not super nice not great, okay. On arrival we we're told our room wouldn't be ready by 4 o'clock so they took our bags and suggested a drink on the terrace. No one to be seen outside, tables filled with dirty dishes and empty cups so we decided to walk along the beach and come back 20 minutes later. Only to be told you're supposed to seat yourself. 15 minutes later a waitress arrived and served 2 tables who arrived after us before and once finally served she had to return 2 minutes later to confirm my cocktail. Room check in fine, only our bags weren't in our room on arrival which made us late for our pool rdv(you have to book before). Pool tricky to get to with hardly any signs and no one at all to help us as we entered. Quite confusing to find entrance, showers to the pool etc. Salt water pools are nice and the parcours.

Room service man had a mistake with our order(Which the whole meal was refunded later to be fair) and had no idea what the vegan options were for the breakfast and did not offer to find out for me. Breakfast in the morning, avoid the scrambled eggs they are disgusting and totally inedible, bacon was cold. (Again had this meal refunded as it was no where near up to standard.) Buffet breakfast is much better than the room breakfast, but again avoid the scrambled eggs. We had a great time at the spa for a couples massage, very realxing and nice but not a super intense massage.

Our room was not as clean as we would have thought for a 5 star hotel, see pictures, coffee stained tables, carpet marks, curtains not clean and bathroom not up to scratch.
All in all we had an okay stay, but wouldn't come again.
