Place is nice and relaxing. The grounds are very nice and well kept. Only issue is the food. They seem to keep getting cheaper and cheaper. I'd stere clear of the charcuterie board. Each visit I get one. And each time I become more disappointed in it. The hard bread taste like pool water. And they give just a few slices of bread to eat with the food. They dont put anything special on it. It's very basic and for 25+ quebec tax, I'd expect something a little more palatable. They used to have this mango chutney which was amazing. Now they serve mustard. For a place that makes literally millions per year in revenue. Make the food good, give us what we pay for. Or next visit I'll just do the thermal experience and skip any drinks and food and save myself 150$. As on the corner you can hit a local restaurant and have drinks and food which are much better in flavour and quality at a fraction of the cost. Disappointed in this. Womt be getting food or drinks next time. Waste.

First time for me .Lineup was a one hour and thirty min to get in on a cool sunny Saturday afternoon. I m a 3xl jacket so I Was a bit disappointed about them only having a one size fits all robe left when the wife and i arrived . I managed with what they had . It was close enough I guess . Once in I was not disappointed . Enjoyed every moment of it . We stayed into the late evening and with the cool night and the lights and the steam rising from the warm water made the night even better . The food was a bit pricy but for some reason didn t mind . Definitely want to go back but probably will be bringing my own robe . My only reason for a 4 Star .

I spent a day at Nordik on Sunday with my boyfriend, and we both really enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are beautiful, there's lots to do, I would go again. Only downfall I can think of is the food is over priced for what you get. Portions are small. I would consider lowering prices a little and maybe adding a bit more option to the menu. It's a pretty quiet place during the early morning, to early afternoon, but gets quite busy as the day goes on, and it gets loud. I personally don't care about the noise, but I can see how it would bother some people when they are expecting a quiet atmosphere.

Blissful! Day or night, any season. Saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, cold plunge, warm salt water pool, exfoliating scrubs, heated stone beds, hammocks, muskoka chairs, lounge chairs, campfires, and lots of delicious options for food and drink! Beautiful view from the infinity pool overlooking the Gatineau Hills. Options for quiet areas or a more party-like atmosphere. Bring sunscreen in the summer and a warm robe in the winter.

Absolutely wonderful spa! We went on an especially busy day (the weekend before Valentine's day) and only felt crowded a couple of times. There is plenty of space to walk and the wait to get in was not too long.
The lockers are nice and large and changing areas are kept clean. The baths and saunas were all fantastic and each one was different from the last. A truly relaxing daily getaway can be found here :)

Very great spa!! Probably the best I had the chance to go.... until they boosted their price to almost 100$ per person only for the bath section... a regular couple day now cost over 300$ easily if you wanna grab a glass of wine and eat.

Loved our visit here. Book any services and extras that you want well in advance. Massages and facials book fast. I chose to try the Kalla pool. It was incredible. Kalla is a epsom salt saturated pool where your body is neutrally buoyant. The temperature is perfectly matched with your body. Music plays softly beneath the water's surface. If you close your eyes you lose all sense of space. Pure release and relaxation combined with the healing effects of epsom salts make this a worth while experience. The pool is unique to North America and it was well worth the trip.

Very nice. It would be even better if they picked one of the warm pools and cranked it up a few more degrees. Maybe the quiet one.

Great place to relax, was just what we needed. Went in winter surrounded by snow, which made it especially special. Loved the hot tubs and auromatic suanas, the salt scrubs, the lemongrass tea, and the cheese platter at the restaurant was amazing. Will definitely be back.
Only negative feedback was it would have been nice to have more fresh towels, as they get wet quite easily. The showers in the change rooms were also cold and dissapointing.

A very interesting experience. Too noisy for a relaxing day. Staff should advise to stay quiet....when I get out the bracelet scanner did not work. I was lucky I didn't have money on it. I really like the salted spa. Being floated in a bath only your head out was so relaxing. Overall I will go back again however on a weekday without this much of people. March break was not a good timing for relaxing at this place

Spent an entire day there and it was a very relaxing experience. As many others have said it is better to be there early in the morning but the only line up was at the entrance and the place did not feel too crowded at any point during the day. Even though it is a bit pricey compared to other places, I would highly recommend getting a massage from here because there were some excellent massage therapists here and the quality of the sessions are significantly better.
My wife and I visit the Spa almost every 3 months....
My wife and I visit the Spa almost every 3 months. On a regular base we buy a dozen of passes in advance for several hundred dollars. We did this in September as well. We went to Spa on last Saturday. Unfortunately the place was overcrowded and the manager refused let us enter the Spa even though we have passes bought a couple of months in advance. He told us that a new reservation system was introduced in June and we need a reservation. We were not aware of this change and nobody inform us for it even thought the Nordik Spa collected our phone numbers, e-mails and address during the first visit. Moreover, there was no any sign, label, or slide, in the constantly running presentation on the TVs in the front office, informing the visitors about the reservation system. On the passes were explicitly written that the reservation is required only for massage but not for thermal experience. When we bought all these passes in September, a couple of months after that reservation system was introduced, nobody informed us that we need a reservation. We discussed the issue with the manager (Mr. H. Dechatelets) on place but he didn't cooperate at all. He not only didn t allow us to use the Spa, but also he refused to reimbursed us for all these passes which we have, which contradicts to Consumer Protection Act. His answer was to come other day or after 8.00 pm. We felt very disappointed, embarrassed and humiliated. We will NOT return, and certainly will not be purchasing the several hundred dollars worth of yearly Nordic gifts we typically do. What a shame!!!!!

My friends and I took an evening to spend at this spa thinking that it would be enough, but we all regretted when it closed and we had to leave. The place is beautiful, so many different areas to enjoy. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit, just plan to spend at least half a day there.

This was my first massage ever and when I called I knew I wanted a deep tissue massage cause I m a bigger guy and was very sore as I m pretty active. The person who took my call strongly suggested I get the tonic massage saying the deep tissue would be too much for my first massage and that the tonic was very similar and very strong. Unfortunately the massage was not. Even after asking the massage therapist to do max strength it did not leave me feeling relaxed or any less tight. No fault to the massage therapist as she was working very hard and was sweating and did a great job for the style she was trained in. But I don t appreciate being pushed to the tonic with the promise that it was similar to the deep tissue. After the massage was done the massage therapist lady strongly suggested I get deep tissue next time.

We visited during COVID. Felt very safe since they were following all protocols. They had masks available for everyone. Alll the staff were wearing masks.
We visited during the week and it wasn t really crowded.
The food menu is not good and for the price we are paying, they should have better foods.
Definitely one of the best places for a couple s gateway. We did Kalla. It s good to try it once. Good experience.
If you re looking for a stress-free getaway then t...
If you re looking for a stress-free getaway then this spa is NOT the place go. I purchased the Signature Spa Package for my girlfriend and I which includes the Thermal Experience, Table D Hote Dinner and a one night stay at Auberge Old Chelsea B&B. We drove up from Toronto and arrived to Le Nordik at around 5pm to a long lineup that curled around the room back to the entrance door where we were greeted by an employee who told us that we had to be placed on a two hour waiting list before we could enter the check-in line and that we also had to receive a text message notification before we were allowed to come back. I was slightly irritated by this since I had already paid for the package ahead of time but shrugged it off and headed back to our lodging to kill the time. I decided to call customer service to make sure that there was no misunderstanding about the waiting list since I had already paid for the package, but when I spoke to the representative she said to me (in a rather rude tone) that because I didn t have an appointment for a massage, I would have to wait like everyone else. Two hours pass by, its 7pm and still no text message notification from them so we decide to head back to the Spa with expectations that they will notify us any minute. We didn t receive any notification at all. We walked into the lobby and there was still a long lineup, but there was no longer an employee tending the door to stop anyone from entering the lobby, so we got ourselves into the lineup. The wait in line took another hour before we reached the front of the line as there were only 2 out of 3 check-in counters open. Some of the guests who had already been at the Spa for some time had decided to bypass the lineup to the front desk so that they could inquire about their individual matters. The girl waiting in line behind me didn t appreciate this, so she went up to the guests that cut the line and asked if they could wait in line like everyone else. One of the receptionists then said to the girl They have already paid, so they are allowed to come up rightaway. We finally reached the check-in counter and I explained the issues that we were dealing with for the past 3 hours (in a polite and respectful manner, of course), but receptionist just brushed it off as if there were no problems at all, no apologies for any delays or anything. They finally opened up the third check-in counter for the rest of the guests in line just as we finished checking in. I also ran into some technical issues with the locker I was assigned to which set us back another 20-30 mins (My RFID wristband would not open my locker). However, the locker room staff was helpful and finally assigned me a new locker after several attempts at solving the problem. We finally got changed and our belongings stored away and made it just in time to dinner before the Table D Hote cutoff time (9pm). Although the food was delicious and thermal environments were nice and relaxing, I won t come back here because of the lack of hospitality shown to us. Basically, the relaxation time that I received here was used to relieve the stress gained from checking-in.

Spectacular. I start with this word because it was what I thought, I was left wanting more. It is an enclosure with pools of hot, cold water and relaxation areas. The experience of being in a place full of snow, inside a pool of hot water, the surroundings, music, lights ... Simply great. I went at 6 in the afternoon, which was already night until 11PM. I recommend spending the whole day.

I used to love going to the nordik, I find it's overrated now. Too crowded. We paid an additional 100 for the kalla treatment and we had to wait a very long time before being allowed in. Once in, the water was cold, people were constantly going in and out and you couldn't hear the music. Big waste of money, and wasn't very relaxing.

A great place to go to unwind and relax -- alone or with friends. BYO flip flops and robe to avoid extra fees. They give you one towel, so bring another to leave in your locker. That way you don't have to towel off at the end of the day with a soggy towel!

Nordik spa is a fabulous place to relax, rejuvenate, spend quality time with friends/family, have a girlfriends day, etc. Or spend a "me" day. Bring a book ! The hot tubs (for silent, whispering and social guests), infinity pool, floating kalle treatment pool, exfoliation area, sauna, massage therapy, restaurants with delicious food, service excellence by staff !!! The list goes on. Next date already booked.

Love the spa but the wait in the mornings has gotten out of control! You book a day off and head there for a relaxing day just to stand in line for 1-2 hours! They keep on expanding but won't work on a better system on getting everyone in! We waited in a cold muddy tent with a hundred other people with the line continuing down the path, and that was just to get in the line up that was in the building!!! For what was supposed to be a relaxing day, it became really aggrivating and will make me think twice about if it's worth returning.

It was a first good experience! The massage i took was incredible! It was really relaxing. A great environment to relax.
BUT, there is too many people for the sauna s and pool capacity. It s not enjoyable. You pay a lot to wait for your turn and not being able to enjoy your experience to the fullest. I was really disappointed. I got there at the opening, and we had time to have some space to ourselves and relax but in the afternoon, forget it, too much people. Sure it s on the weekend but they should put a capacity limit. It was ridiculous! It was my first time and probably the very last!

I ve had a very stressful experience. The staff was not able to find my reservations (which was booked and paid in advance) and I was charged twice.
This was a very bad experience overall.
Nothing nice to say. I got my money back in the form of a voucher that I have no intention on using in that stressful place, so basically they just stole almost $200 from my hard earned money.
The one star is for the beautiful place, too bad I never did enjoy it.

Absolutely Love Nordik! Reception is always a hassle but once you're through it's all good after that! Thermal pools and saunas await. I always get a massage treatment aswell, it combines well with the thermal cycles. Take a break in the infinity pool with a beverage of choice. Don't forget to respect the quieter or silent areas.

Amazing place to relax and enjoy. Had a Banya experience and it was truly great! The only thing was that reserving time online didnt really do anything. There was no separate line for booking the time in advance so not too sure what the purpose was. Also the quiet area isn't really followed. But my husband and I really enjoyed the day. Cant wait for it to be opened in Whitby!

Great place for a girls day or a couples retreat! They had a wide variety of saunas, hot and cold pools as well as a great selection of massage treatments. The staff were friendly and helpful. And their were little to no lines for the more popular attractions (ie the salt bath). Food and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are also served. Defiantly will visit again!

Really nice but way too expensive. Robes should atleast be included in the price.. . I also noticed you were not aloud phones which was great, but the amount of people with their phones was ridiculous even with the "security" around.. they saw them and didnt say anything?? the resturant food was mediocre at best. The charcuterie board was the worst I've ever had.. no cheese or anything on the board except a few meats with barley any bread or spreads. I saw everyone around running out of bread and you have to pay 2$ for an extra 5 tiny pieces of bread. What a joke when you already paying 100$ . They should really start putting some more as everybody requests it.

I do not recommend anyone to praise your bathrobes, my last experience was through my throat.I was stolen my prescription glasses worth $ 700 who were in the pocket of my bathrobe I left it time for a cold bath. The employees unhook the bathrobes to wash without checking in your pockets and that I'm bath I reported but nothing has been done 2 days after I call the mr of the shop says I found them, I I pointed out more glasses I asked them to listen to my phone conversation or he said to have seen that it is recorded but until then not following

Located in Chelsea, PQ. We have heard from many friends and family members about this spa, so when we received gift certificates to enjoy the spa we were excited for a relaxing afternoon. We were not disappointed. They have many different saunas and hot tub's. You have a choice between steam, dry, aroma and fire. The pools, you have a choice of varying sizes, temperature. We did get to try the indoor higher concentrated salt pool, where you can effortlessly float on your back. The salt pool does cost a bit extra.
You can enjoy drinks and food in between your different experiences. The drinks were a little pricey, but the food was fairly reasonably priced.
We found there were hardly no clocks to be found, but I guess they want you to forget about all time from your outside world and to focus just on relaxing. We had a massage scheduled, so we had to ask attendants for the time to be not late.
Everything was amazing and would have given this place 5 stars, but the checkin and checkout was painful. A long line to checkin, which took 20 minutes in line, then another 15 minutes at the desk. Upon checking out, the line was short, but only 2 attendants, so a long wait.

Had a horrible experience. It was my wife's first time at a spa and I was raving about how great of an experience it would be. The day we went there was a huge line up so I felt like I was at an amusement park waiting for a ride. We finally get into the overcrowded Nordic Spa and the hot baths are luke warm at best. It was -20 degrees that day and we couldn't get warm. We were on the hunt for something warm! I thought maybe the dry saunas, it was crowded like a can of sardines! Next was the steam room, nope! It was down also. Finally a guy approaches us to see how everything was going, we found out that a fuse blew that morning and which allowed everything to cool off. No mention of it at the front desk earlier. No mention of possible refund. We finally ended up leaving after an hour and a half and did not have a relaxing time for the money we spent. If you like overcrowded spas you might like this place.
