It was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend it. They ensure you are completely relaxed and there is something for everyone. The salt soaking pool is an extra charge but was an amazing unique experience! I truly loved it.

Absolutely love this spa. One of my personal favorites and I feel like a new person everytime I visit this place. Its clean, products used are very good and relaxing

First time we've been here and it was great! I wasn't sure what to expect but ended up trying a few different saunas. Recommend going early because on the day we went it got busy in the afternoon. We arrived at 9:15AM and stayed until 3:00PM. We also had massages in their chalets overlooking the grounds. Definitely worth trying but book them very early (i.e. months in advance). Our masseuses - Marie and Sarah were excellent. We'd like to go back and try it during the winter as it would be a unique experience. It wasn't cheap but worth it. We'll make going to Nordik a new habit.

Beautiful spa and resources for a decent price, it the service could be greatly improved in all areas and the place seems a bit understaffed. The spa itself seems well kept and has clean facilities. However I had a bad dining experience at the restaurant for dinner. My waitress seemed to acknowledge everyone except me and I felt neglected as she failed to ask how everything was, would walk past me several times without picking up any empty dishes, and always came to my table last if at all. But quick to cash me out and have me leave... great food but unfortunately very poor service. Aside from that, would recommend the spa itself but come early as it gets too busy throughout the day and not as peaceful and relaxing of an experience as during non peak hours

The amount of people they let in now is beyond unacceptable and completely ruins the experience. The reservation system makes no difference. This used to be a great place but has completely sold out their customers experience in exchange for a buck.

Wow. Breathtaking, relaxing, with a wonderful staff. Had an hour long feel tissue massage with many saunas and pools to choose from. Is especially romantic in the evening after a relaxing day - highly recommended

Amazing place! A bit on the expensive side but as a treat it s worth every penny. :) Has all kinda of hot tubs, temperate pools, stone beds, saunas, and even hot tubs you can drink in lol. As a caution, it s so nice there that it s easy to stay way too long and turn into a dehydrated prune, so make sure you drink water!

An amazing spot with a ton of amenities, attentive and happy staff, and great food and drink. One of a kind and worth a visit to let go and recharge.

Very enjoyable experience! The massage was amazing, I used to get stiff necks a lot and ever since I got a massage here, I haven t gotten one in over 2 months! Lots of hot & cold pools and saunas! Check the weather before you go! Will definitely visit again!

We newlyweds went to Le Nordik in Chelsea yesterday as a wedding gift from a friend (great wedding gift idea!). Neither of us had ever been to a spa. My husband was reluctant but willing and we both had no idea what to expect besides what we'd seen online the night before.

Relaxing music greeted us as we got out of our car. It continued as we climbed to the stairs to the spa on the hill. The landscaping is gorgeous and gave us the feeling of being in a forest. There was a mini waterfall cascading over rocks. Upon entering we were welcomed immediately by staff. There were at least 6 sign-in stations and each was staffed on Thursday at noontime when we arrived. The staff were amazing the whole day and they did enforce the no-talking & no-phone-or-camera policies. When our towels or bathrobes were soaked, there were always fresh warm dry ones available. We enjoyed our time and stayed for 8 hours.



The only 2 negatives: after the ritual we were all dripping with sweat (toxins flushing out of the body) and about a dozen of the attendants jumped directly into the small cold pool just outside the sauna. Between that largest sauna and the cold pool would be a GREAT place to install a row of showers along with a policy that guests must rinse off before entering the pools/tubs after the ritual. The second negative was the tapas restaurant in the socializing section. They had beautiful cloth covered benches and cushions. When we sat down to order there was a foul odour and we decided to leave the restaurant and ended up making our own supper later at home. We guessed the odour was coming from perspiration on the cushions. Perhaps covering those in a more hygienic fabric would help because people are allowed to sit there and eat without a robe in that section.

Overall we had an excellent time and will surely be back again in future. Thank you, Le Nordik!

Nice place to relax but don't get the fish tacos, expensive and no taste.

You go once and you're hooked! no joke! A truly definitive Spa experience that goes way above and beyond to meet the needs of all tastes and desires. Do not make the mistake of choosing another over Nordik Spa.

This weekend will be my fourth time going to the Nordik spa. Very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. All the different types of saunas, hot pools and comfy chairs/hammocks are just amazing. Absolutely love this place!!

Beautiful place, could use some improvement in terms of the way it is run. It is way too busy lately which ruins the whole relaxation purpose of the spa.

If you are in ottawa area, this is one of your beat spot for the winter. Caution, not all the springs are hot, make sure you read the map to see which one is hot, or dip your feet to check. I jump into one without checking, and it was COLD.

Great getaway from the hustle of the city. Bit pricy but totally worth it once in a while, summer or winter. Week days are better, less crowded.

Great spa, try not to go on the weekends it can be super busy!

I went recently and, prior to entering, was made to stand in a fully enclosed tent heated by multiple propane patio heaters. A staff member said it was so busy inside that we had to wait in the tent before going to reception.

I was worried about carbon monoxide buildup in the tent, seeing as it was fully enclosed, and expressed this concern to one of the staff. He said he does a smell test with a manager every day to safeguard against any carbon monoxide "leaks." I told him carbon monoxide is odourless and a product of incomplete combustion, not leaks. I also showed him a sticker on the side of one of the heaters clearly warning that it was only to be used outdoors.

He called his manager. I saw the manager come, talk to him, and then leave without saying anything to me. No one talked to me about this until I was in line inside at reception (which wasn't busy at all) talking about it and one of the managers happened to overhear me. The manager said, in the most patronizing way possible, that the heaters were safe. How did he know? The company that set up the tent told him they were safe. I told him the heaters were labelled for outdoor use only, which was news to him (again, the label was on the OUTSIDE of the heater). I also asked if the air inside the tent had ever been tested. He hesitated then said that it hadn't.

Clearly, no one there was aware of the risks of carbon monoxide exposure or cared, so I called the fire department and asked them to test the air inside. Once someone at the fire department got in touch with them, they fetched me and brought me to reception to talk to the same manager again. He told me they were being inspected by the fire department and would install carbon monoxide detectors. He didn't admit to any kind of fault.

Later, I saw that they had closed the tent down (reception was packed by this point) and added signs saying, "For your safety, we have installed carbon monoxide detectors." I looked inside. None in sight.

Maybe I was overreacting, but I'm still appalled by their carelessness. No one was trained on the risks of carbon monoxide exposure, and no one took even the most basic precautions, like testing the carbon monoxide levels inside the tent, until I raised a stink about it. Most people have carbon monoxide detectors in their homes. The risks of carbon monoxide building up to unsafe levels with multiple gas-burning flames in a small, enclosed space is much, much higher than in most homes.

On top of all this, no one offered me any kind of refund or discount on a future visit. Rather than enjoying the spa, I spent a significant portion of my time there worrying about a problem they should have looked after.

I'll never go back there. The management simply doesn't care about their clients' safety or the quality of their experience.

Ontarions be warned!!!

Spa was pretty nice, unfortunately I will not be returning. Two weeks after the fact I received a $452 ticket in the mail from the Municipality of Old Chelsea for my Ontario plate not having a valid tags on it. Unfortunately I had not got around to getting it done yet...(1 wk late) but that's quite a steep price. Interestingly Quebec plates don't have expiration tags, this just makes me not want to come back and I feel very targeted.

Amazing experience! I use the spa and gym regularly but this was a whole new level. Fantastic!

Hot place to be on a cold day. I really enjoyed moving between all the different places. Pools, saunas - wet and dry, the eucalyptus steambath is amazing. Spent a lot of time floating in the salt pool. That was super cool as I usually don't float. There is music "in the water". My wife and I had a small but delicious lunch. Can't wait to go back. I do wonder how much energy is consumed to generate all that

Very nice facilities however, I think its a little overpriced.

Nordik Spa-Nature is the best scandinavian spa I have been to. Clean and well maintained. So many facilities to choose from... you can easily spent 8 hours there! Food is always fresh and tasty. New outdoor massage rooms are awesome!

New "reservation" system meant a 1 hour wait just to pay to enter, and this was 10:00am on a Tuesday. Gatineau police patrol their parking lots and give out $500 tickets to anyone with expired tags, unlocked doors, or anything else they can think of. Food options are poor. Lovely saunas and pools though.

Lovely place for a day away from home. Although I am not a spa advocate I have visited on multiple occasions and never ceased to be disappointed. Wonderful staff and beautiful atmosphere. Something here for everyone

It was my fav spa in town! With renovations and allowing people to drinking in the pools it s seems like you are more in an all inclusive vacation. Good for fun definitely not for relaxing. Suggestion: make dates for people who are looking to spend a quiet day

I love this place but unfortunately I do not like the new booking policy at all. Now, even to access the baths, you must book, respect a schedule and especially give his credit card numbers (and if you change your mind because of bad weather, you will be penalized financially). they have also raised prices and I admit that from now on, I'm not sure I'll be there as often.

Absolutely amazing. Definitely would go again. Therapeutic and relaxing. So many options to choose. Salt bath was divine. Went solo first time, would like to go with my partner or my girls next time. Top notch facilities, great staff and services. Maybe rent a cabin?

Always a real treat to escape up to Nordik for a day - great new facilities and the staff always friendly. Great quick bites from the poolside snackshack - loved the tacos!

After my last time, I didn't think I'd be back. But I decided to give it another shot. I am now convinced I will never return. Change rooms were FILTHY. We were there for a total of 4 hours and not once were the change rooms cleaned. We couldn't even put our robes or towels in the bins because they were overloaded with dirty ones. And this stayed that way for over 4 hours!!! They've expanded too much and got too big for their own good and are lacking tremendously in cleanliness. Also, the wait staff in the restaurants are extremely rude and neglectful.

Quantity over quality!
This place has a lot of potential. Everything is prepared for a day of great relaxing BUT the owners seem to pack it as much as possible. Sitting like a sardeen in a sauna isn't really relaxing, nor rubbing up to people in the hot pools... Never mention the waiting and lines.

It's so easy to manage it better.

Beautiful spot, however rude and non accommodating staff, even if you speak French. Manager saved the day and was very understanding and kind. It's unfortunate most of the employees from the front desk to restaurants seemed upset to be working there.

Overall very relaxing experience. Bring your own bathrobe or pay a 12$ fee.Strongly recommend getting there at open. When there is not too many people, the place is a great experience. Around 11am a lot of people started to show up (often in groups of 5). Many of these groups didn't respect the silent areas or whispering areas. As well, keep track of your bath robe. I heard 2 people asking staff if they had been turned in a cellphone and 1 person lost their ray bans due to having grabbed the wrong robe.

Overall the saunas are wonderful, but I dont really think that the kalla is worth the extra fee. Be prepared as the food is on the expensive side. I had the nordic burger, it was nicely seasoned and loaded onto a properly toasted bun. I would have rated a 5 star except the hamburger patty tasted frozen.

Overall a 4 star experience.

Did the thermal experience as well as a deep tissue massage.
The staff are all friendly and professional.
The bars set up in the pool areas make it easy to get a glass of bubbly and enjoy a good soak.
The grounds are simply beautiful.

If you are unhappy there you probably are unhappy everywhere. Strongly recommend to have a massage to really enjoy your day. All amenities are great, be care full with your new payment bracelet method as it feels like everything is free and the money drains real fast. The food and drinks are great. It is an amazing atmosphere for both quiet and talking sections. Only negative thing are those once in a while naggy and pesky customers that don't seem to understand the rules of the sections and will sit and chat right next to the quiet signs. They added sections for a reason people !

I love the experience it was superb I'm only giving four stars because the restaurants start to close early and it kind affected the whole experience but I'll definitely suggest to have the experience amazing!!!!

Mostly positive experiences here. Would really appreciate it if the staff actually enforced the rules. Some of us actually go there to relax, and avoid loud guests or couples that think it's appropriate to fondle each other in public. Haven't decided yet if I'm going back.

It was amazing, i plan on going again and again. I was so happy on my visit that i bought several other tickets for future visits.

I booked reservation for a massage, and I had an emergency I couldn t go and I haven t get andy email reminder from the Nordik. I have been charged 100$ on my Visa and I didn t even go there, when I called the customer service she refused to do anything for me or to let me speak with her supervisor... very bad policy and customer service. By the way I am a returning client I did like 3 massages with them before, they d do something about this. Too bad!

This is a fantastic place to go relax and unwind in beautiful setting.

I really wanted to like this place because it was so expensive and I needed a self care day, but it's unfortunate that a woman is expected to wear their bathing suit all day, seems like waiting for a UTI.

The massage services were excellent.

I was very disappointed that I was not allowed to bring in food, as I do not fancy restaurant food. In order to eat our picnic lunch, we had to walk all the way down to the car.

Not accessible for anyone with any mobility concerns, lots of stairs

Very calming atmosphere. I love that I can book online, and choose a check-in that works best for me.

An overall good and clean spa retreat but has so much more potential. We came here today on the 18th of Feb 2020. It was very busy for a Tuesday. We waited for 20 mins to get our bracelet. Wishing this place would managed and limit the amount of people coming here. When it's so busy like today it doesn't really feel like a retreat but more like a tourist/amusement attraction. I would be worried how packed it would be on a weekend. Both restaurants were full and the wait was long. The cafe was the only place that we could sit but the service was also slow.

The services are lovely and I really enjoyed the sauna and exfoliating shower. However both my sister's and my masseuse were sick. Really nice ladies but probably not great to be working when you're sick. It's not nice to hear coughing and throat clearing during a relaxing massage which you pay $60 for.

Also would suggest that they provide the bath robe as part of the fee rather than people bringing their own robes. The "luxury" image is kind of lost when you see people walking around in unicorn colour robes.

My husband and I go often. It keeps expanding and adding more amenities. In the summer they had a cute outdoor trendy bar area with snack food. Its so beautiful there and relaxing.
