Like a circus. People couldn t get their vehicle and had wedding so man was yelling. Girl who insisted she was hotel manager, Gabrielle, and refused to give me her name in writing so I could report her. They messed up my reservation but Gabrielle blamed it on other Corp but I had copy of confirmation. She insisted there was not a single room with two beds to accommodate my family after driving half a day to get to New Orleans. I had to leave and go back home! Would Never Ever Recommend this hotel!!!!!BAD Business. No other hotel has ever been so NonAccommodating!

We evacuated here to escape hurricane Delta. From the first phone call I made to them 2 days ago they were so genuinely nice and accommodating. They allowed us to check in very early and only charge a $50.00 pet fee. It is located across the street from Harrah's and a short walking distance from the aquarium and the Riverwalk. This is definitely the hotel I will use when visiting NOLA. Super clean, super cold a/c and great shower water pressure

The service is excellent! The room was clean, smelled good and housekeeping was very nice.. I would have given it 5 stars, but parking was $45 a night, the bathroom was small and there was no refrigerator(only a cooler) or microwave.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. I had a problem with the check-in since the hotel I originally booked with overbooked and switched my group to this hotel but they took care of us. The only issue was I used coporate card for the stay and used personal card for incidentals, hotel charged the room to my personal card two weeks later and a refund will take up to a week longer for a refund and to charge tje correct card.

Stayed week before fat tuesday 2019 and had a blast. Our room looked out on the parade route, which made our stay extra special. Plus we were next door to Mothers Restaurant, another bonus. Rooms were modern and clean. No microwave, but we had a small fridge to keep leftovers and drinks. Overall we loved the location and the city views and would definitely stay again.

I would like the chance to express my dissatisfaction with the Marriott group as a whole. I landed in New Orleans and found out that Le Meridien had been involved in a fire several days before my arrival. Fortunately, no one died from what I could tell. I did not receive any email or contact in an attempt to relocate me. In fact, I did receive an email 24hours ahead of check-in asking if I would like to check-in online. After arrival and realizing that the hotel was closed, I was constantly speaking to people who did not know anything about why the hotel was closed and insisted that I had cancelled the reservation myself. They offered to find other availabilities, but they would not honor my rate and would often recommend hotels multiple miles from my original location. I was able to find another hotel myself with a comparable rate. I cannot believe how unorganized this experience was and the lack of hospitality that was offered. Even if you did not wish to assist with relocating me, a courtesy email saying that the hotel could no longer offer me a place to stay would have at least allowed me to plan ahead and find somewhere else without paying the last minute reservation costs.

Beautiful hotel. Unique lobby with a relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. Outstanding service. Food is delicious and fresh. Outgoing baristas and service providers. Reminiscent of a European destination.

The hotel is very nice. My personal experience of it has been very good, however they do seem to have problems with getting the rooms right. Make sure you call in and confirm your bedding arrangements!

Worst experience ever!! We stayed in a suite and the television nor the phone in the bedroom worked. The entire room had a strong smell of paint and we were awaken by construction! Informed the front desk and they only compensated the $40 parking fee for a $490.00 room! We will NEVER stay here again. Truly disappointed in this experience as the spg brand is typically an awesome experience...

Modern ballroom which served perfectly as our wedding venue. We instantly fell in love with the ballroom because of how modern it was and the neutral colored carpet and beautiful silver, shimmer walls. The space is nice and so are the steps leading up to the space (perfect for engagement pics and day of bridal party photos) as the whole second floor was reserved for our guests and cocktail hour. From the front desk to the bellmen, housemen, chefs, and sales manager, the Le Meridian houses a great staff. The sales manager also served as our wedding coordinator which was a big help and relief as wedding planning is stressful! Overall, we enjoyed hosting our wedding here! It is also hard for most hotels to live up to the New Orleans food standard (flavor and spice) but all of the food at our wedding was amazing! The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. The location was also perfect for our wedding as it is in the French Quarters where you can party all night!

I stayed at this hotel during Jazz Fest 2017 and I must say it was a Memorable Experience. The Entire staff including the Manager the Condition of the Hotel room as well as the Bar area the Dining area to the Front Desk was first class Starwood all the way. Special thanks to Kevin , Lawrence and Jamal. I have never in all of my travels encountered a more caring yet totally professional staff in a Hotel. These gentleman are the very reason I look for a Starwood property first when I look at booking a hotel. Can not wait to return to New Orleans as I already know where I will be staying

Excellent staff, quick and easy checkin process. Overlooking the casino and river. You can see the cruise ship terminal and tugboats pushing barges up the mississipi from the upper level rooms. I found the room to be very quiet and comfortable. The mattress was also very nice.

Great hotel in a great location a little away from the French quarter (which is good if you like quite to sleep)! Only problem was my room not being ready for check in at 5 pm local time but not a big deal they checked my bags and I explored for a little while.

Really nice modem hotel great staff. Loved our first bellhop he was great. Complaints air freshener in lobby area was really strong, our frig too a while to cool, and the air unit made this horrible clunk nose when the room next to ours ac cut on. Layout of our room was a little strange but it was not a deal breaker

Disgusting! I left my favorite coat in the closet.. but when I called the lost and found the next days, they said it was gone. No one stayed in the bedroom after us, and the last person to have ran into my coat was one of the maids who cleaned the bedroom, who apparently stole it and I am 100% sure about it. It's sad that the hotel staff doesn't inspect the maids when they leave from work place... I am sure they stole other people before too. I have lost my confidence in this hotel and will never stay again. I would suggest everyone to not leave anything in your rooms if you stay in this hotel... not even clothes.. bcus nothing is safe there anymore!

I was pretty excited with my fiance and I were going to New Orleans and staying here but ended up a disappointed. Le Meridien took over the old W Hotel and did a massive renovation $22 million according to the Starwood website. We had looked over the pictures a few months before and the place looked really nice. The decor and ambiance looked very slick and modern. We decided not to rent a car because it was $50 a night to park which is loco (The Andaz in Maui only charges $30 a night).

When we came, I was a bit disappointed how close our room door was from the neighboring rooms. We could hear the TV blaring from the other rooms and people talking loudly. The bathroom looked nice however the light on top of the shower did not have a cover? Plus there wasn't much space when you opened the door to the bathroom. I feel they could've redesigned the bathroom a bit better. Bathroom amenities weren't that good. I would think Le Meriden would have nicer brand name soaps and stuff but nope just shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap (I think I miss the Japanese Hotels because they had a ton of amenities). Kinda of peeved the cleaning crew didn't clean our bathroom the first day. We had to call to get new towels. Not sure if they're doing a great job service wise. The location is great and you can walk your way to Bourbon Street and French Quarter. Front desk area is pretty nice and really elegant. One perk to staying to the hotel is you can get free complimentary tickets to 3 New Orleans museums (New Orleans Museum of Art, Contemporary Art, and another one I forgot). You just need to ask the front desk for tickets. The hotel has more ways to go if they want to be considered a high end hotel.

This hotel is simply wonderful. The entrance is made me feel like I was in a movie because there were two large automatic doors that opened when I walked up to them. The lobby had an indescribably good smell the moment I walked in. The music playing was good and contemporary. Some of the songs that were played were The Chainsmoker's "Something Just Like This" and a remix of "Paris." The lobby was well decorated. The rooms were nice and clean. The entire expirencing was great. I give this place a 6/5 stars.

It was terrible. I didn't stay and they charged me for the room anyway. The lady that done the reservation lied about the room having a Jacuzzi. That policy is not fair. Why would you have a policy. that charges you for a room that you didn't stay in. I want my money.

We staying at this hotel the week after Mardi Gras. Staff was friendly. But no coffee maker in room and most days no one downstairs to make the coffee and have it ready by 6:00. The last day we were there, no one showed up at all and several people were still waiting at 6:30. Our bed was terrible. I had a curve in the middle so when you lie down you found yourself rolling toward the middle of the bed. We also found the hallway paint job depressing and dark.

This hotel is staffed by thieves. My wife and I hung our NFL jerseys up in the closet in our room. They end up missing. The management excused this situation by saying the hotel insurance doesn't cover our lost or stolen items. What a poor experience. Do not stay here!!! Le Pavillon is way better.

Very nice hotel with a very friendly crew running the place. From the check in people to the bell crew to the bar tenders. The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. Location location location. Closer to the harrah's casino than the harrah's hotel. And easier to park.

Overpriced for two night stay but it is the W. Overall the experience was pleasant and the hotel was far enough away, while still being close enough to the all of the parades in the location for Mardis Gras. The lobby and front "porch" (lack of a better word right now) is relatively small, as compared with the pictures shown. Still all in all I was pleased with my stay in this hotel.

Great location with very comfortable beds. However the trendy bathroom lighting is atrocious, and if you are given room 501, be sure to ask for another. It s right above the entrance to the pool and fitness center, so you will hear the door slamming regularly (even when they re not filming a morning television show poolside starting at 5:00 am like they were a couple days ago.)

The team at Longitude 90 are amazing! Darrien and Heather will give you the best service, and they make excellent drinks. This was my first time to the city and they made us feel really welcome. Beyond that, the hotel is really nice as well. The new rooms look great and they have comfy beds. Definitely coming back on my best visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Le Meridien and enjoyed our stay. It's a great location in Downtown and close to lots of great places. We got a classic room but to our surprise ended up in one of the luxury suites. The room was huge but it did smell a bit moldy. We didn't sleep very well that night. Although the room was 70 degrees we both woke up sweating. Not sure if the bedding wasn't breathable or if it was because of the humidity. Overall nice stay, recommend the Luxury Suites if you can get them!

I chose to stay at this hotel because it had a good rate and close location to the French quarters. The room was a bit small for my liking and the bathroom was extremely small. The housekeeping was bad . I had to call the front desk after coming back of exploring the city all day because the room had not been made. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and never cleaned. Also the restaurant in the hotel was closed.

The staff is so very helpful. The bellman Randy reminded me to check closet and lo and behold i had left a dress jn there. Also everything very neat snd clean. Right across street from casino.

Kevin (bell captain) was a big help to my friends and I who had never been to New Orleans. Provided info and good directions to get us where we wanted to go! And with a smile!
Hallways could use some sprucing up!

It's nice and the people are super friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but a few other people did with valet not being able to find their car. Some waited 30 mins to an hour. Very clean, prompt and courteous!

Simply Amazing! From check in, the bellman Bryan so patient, to the young lady who checked me in, she was fast, very nice, and gave me all the information Le Meriden has to offer. I enjoyed the great view I had and the room was very clean and welcoming.

For the price I had an amazing experience. Great service from the front desk and housekeeping. Had a tiny issue with the billing but it was resolved after a quick email. Highly recommend!

The staff here I felt were cold..aside from Darian at the bar & Devante at the desk. As the girlfriend of a gold SPG member were completely underwhelmed here. The female barstaff were rude, cold, and inattentive. For a place that has had a beautiful renovation I feel a staff overhaul or hospitality class is in order.
