I did a training at the Comptoir des Langues as part of my CPF last year. My training included classes with a face-to-face teacher (I had an American named Michael, he's a great teacher who helped me a lot), as well as E-Learning (it's a good tool but requires great rigor.If you play the game it is effective.)
I was able to pass a TOEIC at the end of training and I got 750, so I recommend the method.

I did the training by my company. Private lessons were great with my great teacher :) By cons, the e learning is not terrible. Finally, it is the communication with CDL which is the most negative point. Having finished my classes early enough, I had to pass the BULLATS but I never had an answer to my mails and never had access to the passage of the BULLATS.

I am extremely disappointed by the follow-up of my training. In the end, I lost all the benefit of my achievements. I nevertheless thank Nevena for his professionalism. Immersion in the body is a joke. I spent a week revising the notions already seen during my private lessons. This training cost 9000 to my OPCA. I would have preferred to keep them for something else. Scammers in my opinion. To flee

I am very satisfied with my intensive English week. The trainers are great, very knowledgeable and attentive. The training adapts to the group's needs, taking into account the feedback and remarks given at the end of each day. A tip that I can give to people who are trying to improve their oral skills: a week alone may not be enough. One should think of completing it either with particular courses or to do at least two, for example. So according to your objectives, choose your training formula!

Very effective method. The modules are very well done. But beware, you need rigor, free time and commitment. The intensive weekend was very revealing of the work provided. The e-learning courses are very well done and easy to understand.
The teacher I had for my face-to-face classes was very educated and took the time I needed to understand the lessons.
I recommend Le Comptoir des Langues to all this allowed me to be more comfortable in English especially oral which is my weak point.

I was looking for a structure that allowed me to be more conversational English and I found a great compromise. We start with e-learning at our pace (the evening after work or the weekend), courses with English teachers, we really learn the subtlety of the language and to finish skype lessons or I can deepen in my professional field (real estate).
They adapt to our schedules, the content is fun and I do it all at 800 kms.
So YES I recommend because with an intensive week and the result is already there!

I had a great week of English immersion.
For a week, in a group of 6, I was able to progress (especially oral) with each day a different teacher, a different accent, and a different teaching. Ideal conditions for learning and having a great time. Without forgetting lunch all together with the obligation to speak in English, a real pleasure!

I can spend 2 days without having worked the Weekend for example and the following Monday is going rather well to my surprise. Memorization of natural texts without the need to learn. Very happy with the teaching team that worries that I'm not connected! I recommend this method which seems to me fruitful. I will be in a better position to affirm my statements when I have finished my Year. I will hopefully put the last star to my final success.

The learning method proposed by e-learning allows me to progress slowly but surely today, as part of my work (reception of merchandise) I dare to engage in a dialogue in this language with foreign drivers without going through google translation. I am very satisfied with my various exchanges with people who are listening and full of good advice, skype lessons with a person of English nationality very effective - I particularly appreciated their listening and their understanding on a difficult period of my life that I had to go through making me leave aside the training, without my asking them, they extended my subscription to e-learning to allow me to achieve my goals. Thank you to all people at the language desk for having a spirit that prioritizes the human and the training before the financial results (which is rare nowadays). it's a reason for me to recommend the language desk to learn English no matter what your age.

When it comes to genuine....I must say CDL is great. From the intake evaluation to the planning team to the teachers, I have observed a genuine care for the student and teacher relationship.
There may be better schools....but I have no complants about CDL.

A formidable method which counteracts all the misdeeds of the approach to languages of the French school system (force-feeding theory with grammar and Shakespearean texts, lack of oral practice, linguistic and syntactic approach too detailed to be effective and motivating).

In short, learning with comics, oral and visual and all this with a solid scientific basis on the study of memory and based on the approach of learning the language as in real life ( oral comprehension and oral expression first = like babies; then move on to writing but with contextual and visual supports!

I currently work with an English instructor and certain grammatical aspects for which my understanding was not acquired, I must now say that it is that I can better express myself more fluently now.

DANGER SOCIETY THAT PRACTICES MASSIVE SPAM: NEVER LEAVE THEM NO CONTACT

Following my interest in learning English again, I contacted the language counter by taking advantage of my cpf to subsidize my training.
The language counter offered me a training course that I accepted and followed, but it is not necessarily in line with my expectations or needs (even if my expectation is to learn as much as possible to evolve) but knowing how much of hours I had on my cpf account which is ultimately quite different ... by exchanging with the other trainees, the approach was identical. So the main goal of the school is to find out how much it is possible to take in cpf hours to bill the maximum.
In my case, I did not have a contact person throughout my training unlike other trainees. The only approach was to sell the training and that's it.
I started with e-learning then I followed 2 weeks of remote face-to-face time. I have made good progress on my level. It takes a lot of rigor to evolve and improve your skills.
As e-learning is not a blocked counter, it is useless to take the maximum. Do not hesitate to do it frequently on a daily basis ... it allowed me to get my English basics back pretty quickly.
Face-to-face in groups is very beneficial because the exchanges / discussions are enriching with the trainers and the other trainees. Each time it was 4 people in face-to-face and one person in skype video I had several trainers over my 2 weeks of face-to-face, until I had one per day. It was nevertheless interesting and thus being able to deal with different personalities, with different accents, with a method of different learning The trainers are very competent and their exercises very informative It is much more beneficial if the trainer knows how to speak a minimum of French to lay the foundations or to explain an English not understood, something where it has not always been the case and the learning day is a little more difficult. Contrary to what is said on their site, there are no linguistic lunches with the trainers, and it has nothing to do with the Covid, it doesn't is simply not on the program.
My 1st week of face-to-face was disrupted by one of the trainees (but also by the 2 other trainees present). After my comments on the week's review, it was a CDL intern who contacted me and not even one of the managers, and commercially nothing was done. Listening and customer satisfaction are apparently not essential ...
Other trainees have benefited from individual training where the trainer comes at home, it seems to be very rich in teaching.
I do not know the other language training schools, but I will not return to this one if my apprenticeship was to be completed I am not completely satisfied

The exam is much less pleasant, little preparation on this side, unfortunately. Too complex. But getting all the same. Learning is fun and makes you want to push further. I was a studious pupil, and believe me, I swallowed some grammar. The follow-ups are encouraging, we do not leave you alone in your difficulties of the moment.
