We went there on Saturday night for the tasting menu and wine pairing. Food was good but did not WOW me. Wine with food was done right. For 300E thought the food would be better. Service was very good.

The overall dish was excellent in proportion to the price.

This is an exceptional experience and be prepared to pay for it. The setting is spectacular and the whole experience simply pretty much perfect. The canadian sommelier clearly knows his stuff and each of the wine flight selections are clearly explained. We had the confiance menu which means you trust in the chef to deliver an experience to you and he certainly did that.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Le Chapon Fin. The decor hasn't changed since the 20s, and everything about the atmosphere has such a classic vintage feel. The food is great, the cheese and wine selection is divine. Recommend checking out the lunch as they have a special menu that is reasonably priced.

We ate a la carte in this restaurant whose decor is superb. All our dishes were bluffing and delicious, it was perfect, congratulations to the chef. Small flat on one of our entry, a piece of plastic surrounding the foie gras to give it a rounded shape had not been removed. We did not return the dish, just report it to the waitress who appeared very shocked by this error and she would inform the kitchen. We thought that the chef or anyone by delicacy would come to apologize, but alas we have settled and leave this restaurant without the slightest excuse, gesture or attention. Conclusion big lack of politeness, see class, for a leader who aims excellence and the stars ... .. can do better

Extraordinary! We made food and wine pairings, with for each glass its history and the same for the dishes. We had explosions to know about flavors and chords that we did not expect: brie with a lemon confit. The service is great and I'm not talking about the magical setting. Having visited many Michelin Guide restaurants, Le Chapon Fin stands out with their finesse, in both service and food. Their wine list is superb and their sommelier is knowledgable. Highly recommend.

A young but very knowledgeable and competent sommelier will be able to recommend the best wines to enhance your dishes! This added to a wine list more than provided (hundreds of references)!

Sensory experience and exceptional taste! All dishes are perfectly associated with wines. The staff is charming. And the decor very nice.
I urge you to do this experience at least once in your life.

Let me get this out of the way: if you are a seasoned fine dining enthusiast you won't find here dishes that will blow your mind. That is simply not the intention of this place.

It's French cuisine with a few twists, in an unique setting and absolutely incredible wine pairings.

So if you make it here: make sure to ask for one of the tasting menus AND make sure you splurge the extra for the custom pairings. We had a grapefruit starter +white wine combo that exploded in our mouths into orgasmic delight, another white that tasted like zesty passion fruit when accompanied by our fish dish, a red that infinitely prolonged the feel of our cheese board and a Sauternes that made a "5 way" Orange dessert come to life.

Service was kind and genuine, always happy to help and answer any questions. Both Sommeliers were very helpful in explaining their choices as well.

Overall price was very acceptable taking into account the overall experience.

So if you are looking to indulge in fine cuisine and wine, this is a good choice. It's also a classic19th century joint, originally frequented by the likes of artist Toulouse-Lautrec, and the unique interior decor is barely changed from 1901, when the whole back of the room was infused with "rocaille", a sprawling rock that makes dining in the room so iconic.

The whole experience was great. The food was marvelous, I had the degustation it was superb all the way to dessert. The price was worth it. I just found the interior a bit tacky with the heavy stone textured wall which didn't feel so clean, plus the carpet slightly smells old. Otherwise it's a 5 star.

On the traditional side of things, great food and service

We fully understand the "loss of the star" chick dishes (portions of the main course are as small as an entry), the service orderly and rough (we had at our table 4 different people without coordination ... ), our bottle of wine deposited far from our table (it took every time to challenge a server to be served again!), the dishes absolutely not transcendent ... It was a "first" and a "last" in this establishment!
