Don't go there! It is a disappointment. There are other and better places for fish soup. Overrated, too expensive and terrible atmosphere...

This is the absolute scam at a golden price! ... a bouillabaisse has nearly 70 euros with a soup of industrial fish very red and thick, the odds of provence to 68 euros the minimum bottle (qques others a little less expensive but not available (exhausted ...!) And to close the list, customers smoke while the heated terrace where we are installed is completely closed for the winter.This forces me to leave urgently leaving the care to my marry the care to adjust the note (464 for 4 people). ABSOLUTELY avoid.

Sun and explosion of flavors! We had lunch at Christmas Town, outside in bright sunshine. Marseille cuisine, that is without subtle feint, with a lot of flavors, freshness. Good products well prepared without too much fuss. Of course it is not cheap and we wait a little, but it's the price to pay for fresh products and a real kitchen: 173 for two with starters, dishes, desserts, mineral water.

If you want to eat a very good bouillabaisse book quickly a table.

Exceptional bouillabaisse friendly and attentive staff

Food is over priced and poor quality... showing choice of 1 lobster with 1 claw then getting one that was totally different and smaller but being charged 96 euros for poor quality. Total rip off place. Wine overpriced... will never eat here again. Be forewarned you will be disappointed. The fish soup was also over powered with dill. Impossible to eat it all.

I have had much better elsewhere. I am not an expert in this cuisine and maybe it was authentic however I thought the bouillabaisse was tasteless and overpriced given the bit of fish and a muscle that were included. Wine was good but also overpriced. Total 87eu for a glass of wine (18) and Bouillabaisse (69) dissapointed me. Tourist trap I reckon.

Marseille institution must to eat good fish. Their capon or scorpion stuffed with Raimu is to recommend, for the greedy gourmets !! And their rum baba reconciles you with desserts. 5 stars without hesitation, and the staff are friendly, too.

The Miranar is a restaurant well placed at the seaside with a breathtaking view. But also with an amazing menu. I ate plancha tuna at noon which must have come on foot. of digested power, not to mention the price. Avoid at all costs before they are still sick just good for a drink

Then. It doesn't look like that but it's a great restaurant. The team is efficient and the chef is a CHEF. THE MEAL IS DIVINE FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. IT IS A FAULTY. THE RATES ARE UP TO THE QUALITY OF THE SERVICE.

What a pity ! This restaurant was recommended by our hotel.
The aioli served was excellent but it is the only positive thing that I learned from this dinner.
The staff is scorning and very little available.
The kitsch frame is unworthy of the prices displayed on the map.
No bottle of wine less than 50 (prefer a glass of wine, which remains affordable).

Bouillabaisse to fall! A very famous establishment that does not detonate with its reputation. Only downside, the decor, maybe a little old or loaded for my taste .. but it does not detract from the quality of the dishes and the good evening!

I just finished having my worst experience at a French restaurant. The Miramar is completely overrated for bouillabaisse, the broth tasted like dishwater, the fish over cooked, and the wine over priced. What to say ... I was a little disconcerted by the prices at the start but once the dish chosen ... perfect from the beginning to the end. Amusement mouths of a finesse and exquisite taste, the dish was perfect, brought under the bell and presented as I had never seen. Miniardises and a very good dessert. We were advised for the wine and the advice was paid. Very good evening with waiters and waitresses very nice and nice.

Decent food, nice setting, nice staff, can be a little overwhelmed by the crowds.

Expensive ( 69 for bouillabaisse and minimum 50 for a bottle of wine), bad service, bad food. Not worth it.

Absolutely terrible service and the place Smells Like dead fish. Food safety issues abound! Avoid at all costs!

- Waiters treated us as WE were there to serve them
- Air conditioning consisted of a couple of fans placed in front of the front door

Every dish was perfect and between each of them there was always a surprise: an amouse-bouche, a palate cleanser, a last minute sweet. Highly recommended for a special occasion, the quality will not disappoint.

The course cost about 60 euros.
The taste was so strong that I got a little tired of it in the latter half, but it had the taste of seafood that I can't eat in Japan.

I can only confirm the many reviews saying that this establishment declines. In 10 years of interval it has changed. The bouillabaisse remains good despite the many stops in the fish but the service leaves something to be desired (impersonal, argument between waitress, etc ...). All this for a note more than salty.

Without reservation to Miramar. The terrace was full but they made every effort to give us a place. The amuses are beautiful. The bouillabaisse is super. Tasty fresh fish in a delicious soup. Generous portions. Super friendly service. Very classic kitchen .... There is certainly nothing wrong with that. We have certainly enjoyed it!

At the beginning the servers were rude with us. They even changed us table because that made a mistake and assigned us the wrong table. Later on service improved and dinner was first class

Great restaurant serving fish and seafood. It serves real, and the best in Marseille, bouillabaisse. The price segment of the restaurant is from 100 euros per person. But this restaurant has a Michelin star, so it's worth it.

One of the must-visit restaurants for tourists, there are many portions, the price is on the high side, the two people eat about 120, and the waiter's attitude is very good.

Is this a delicious bouillabaisse?
There are two types of bouillabaisse, but I didn't know the difference in taste. The clerk's attitude is not good, and the words may just sound like that? Anyway, it was a store that Japanese women praise, and I feel it's expensive and worthless. Having entered the restaurant with my husband we ask a table for four people accompanied by our children. The server totally obscures them and only looks at the couple behind us.
He confirms us a table and available and invites us to follow him. Once in the center of the restaurant he becomes aware of the presence of our children and looking at us with the greatest contempt announces us gloriously "there is no more room, we are complete" and shows us the exit.
This restaurant is BANNIR your address book when you come to Marseille especially with your family. The staff is a priori contemptuous of others of their superior.

The Miramar of Marseille

Recommended by our hotel, we made a reservation in this gastronomic place in Marseille. Along the way I looked at the reviews of Google and TripAdvisor, but we, my wife and I gave it a try.
What to say about it objectively?
In one evening we have gathered almost all the criticisms emitted.
Over an hour to get served, but that was expected.
Staff who speak little or no French, for a gastro it becomes complicated.
Gastronomic, let's talk about it, Christian Buffalo chef of this restaurant leaves us clean, tasty dishes, a little salty, of course, but really good.
Alas that does not make forgotten the wait for these.
But what makes us scandalous in the restaurant is the quality of service which has nothing to do with a gourmet restaurant.
We were seated on a table barely cleared.
We only set my place for my wife, she can have dinner later.
The plates are thrown at us, my wife and I are strewn with stains.

Well, nothing to do with gastronomy, but rather with a good restaurant a little overwhelmed by events.
So to sum up at Miramar, the food is good, but for the rest everything is overdone, therefore unacceptable.

Ordered bouillabaisse for two. Good taste and fulfilling.

Also ordered the seafood platter and was told it includes crab. When the waiter brought it over, there's no crab. We asked what happened to the crab, and then was told they sold out. Instead they gave us prawns.

The staff should have come back and inform us that crabs were sold out and asked if we still want the order. I find this a bit unprofessional for an establishment.
The staff did try to make it up by offering drinks or desserts at then on the house.
