Recently purchased a Precision Matthews PM932 Mill/Drill. I received it in a timely manner as promised. The machine quality is as expected for the price range. There were a couple problems but Quality Machine Tools immediately took care of them. Great company with great customer service.
I broke a threading tool and they sent me the replacement part first class and free of charge. Top notch customer service, I told them what my issue was and they didn't even mention cost. They just said "We've got them, we'll get one in the mail today." 10/10 fellas!
I bought a 1440GS lathe in April 2018 the staff is knowledgable and professional. When I recieved the lathe a couple of the parts were either wrong or missing.
To date August 4.2018 I"m still waiting on a cover bolt. I was told the equipment was run before shipment to ensure everything is as it should be. I don't know how this could be as some of the safety switches were not properly located and the only way you could start the machine is to over ride the safety switch. and somebody installed a cover bolt that was so short it fell off the machine when the cover was removed.
My overview of the machine is it is a high value lathe you might have to do some of the final fitting to get it up and running.
Staff is helpful but follow through needs impovement, I would buy from Mattehws Precision again.
Matt is a great guy to work with. He met me on a Saturday on his own time to help me load the lathe a purchased. I am very happy with the lathe at this price point I believe it is the most competitive one out there.
