An upscale French restaurant in the heart of the streets of buckhead. Food is reasonably good at reasonable prices. Elegant but simple. Consistently good food and service. Not 100% authentic French food, but the closest you ll find in Atlanta.

One of my favorites. The most friendly and professional staff you will find in the city. Risotto, crab and avocado salad and the cajun chicken. The atmosphere of the patio on a warm day is second to none. Great place for a special birthday with a sparkler brought to your table. Bar is open from lunch onwards .

Very bad customer service, waiter was rude and in general badly trained behavior, outfit like this would go out of business in 1 week in France.

He told us to leave because we arrived there and waited a very long time to be served, when he finally came he said why we are eating our gelato there, and asked us to leave. Really not acceptable.

One of the best restaurants in Atlanta - located in the heart of the new Buckhead Atlanta premium outdoor mall, this French Bistro has out-of-this-world filets and their fries are crispy and delicious! A woman two tables down from us just had fries for dinner - they're that good! We'll certainly be back and can't wait for round TWO!

It's a fancy high end dinner associated with Chanel. French restaurant with lots of classics. Food was amazing because it accentuated the freshness of the ingredients. The seasoning was minimal on the skirt steak but chimichurri sauce highlights the meat. Definitely recommend the charcuterie for appetizers. We also got the duck and it rich and savory.

On my birthday, I visited Le Bilboquet with app. 15 other people. It was my first visit. Although they are not set up for large parties, they were very accommodating. My grandmother (dementia) and deaf aunt were with me. Our server took his time with them. They also had an enjoyable evening. The food was awesome. Our server was OUTSTANDING. It was a fun rewarding experience. The food, ambience, and service is worth the cost.

Food very delicious. I split the mussels entre and they put it in separate bowls, gave separate ketchup for the fries. They got that extra 2% level of service. Made sure our waters were filled and removed dishes that were finished right away. Asked in a timely manner if we needed anything else. Never had to flag our server down. I believe his name was Phillip. He was very professional and such a wonder server. Made my experience here such a good one.
I also came again and sat at the bar (table) and the bartender was our server and did not rush us when we wanted recommendations for drinks and heard what we liked to drink and recommended the best cocktails they have. Highly recommend!
For fruity cocktail lovers, Afternoon in Nice is great. For light and refreshing cocktail lovers, I highly recommend the pamplemousse Royal. Can't wait to go back!
Not to mention the ambiance and aesthetics of the restaurant is super cute.

Slow service, too expensive, didn t get our reservation for 8 people outside correct. Said it wasn t possible to reposition a heater even though it had been requested in our reservation. I was expecting an experience and I didn t get it. Especially for the price. Unfortunately the staff just dropped the ball.

When our charcuterie board was brought out they didn t even present the items on the board. I know that sounds silly... but when you re paying top dollar at a 4$$$$ location you should expect good service!

Consistently rude, obnoxious service.. and a $13 latte! The food can be decent here but every time I'm here, the service is atrocious. Furthermore, $13 for a latte with an extra shot?! literal daylight robbery... I'm done.

We came in for dinner on Sunday night with some folks who can be picky eaters. We've only been here for lunch and always have had a great experience. Dinner was wonderful. The menu has something for everyone. We had a vegan, pescatarian and a meat eater Service is top notch and you can't beat the mussels. We ordered dessert for the first time and had the napoleon. It's so light and fluffy! We will definitely be back. Everyone was happy. Thanks for being so consistent in a cozy setting.

Pros-

Pros-
The server was polite
Our water glasses were never empty
The hostess was polite
Outdoor seating was available, though hot, they can't control the weather

Cons-
The duck was over cooked and dry
The foie gras was under seasoned
The overall meal was bland

To be a French restaurant the DUCK and the FOIE GRAS have to be up to par.

We went yesterday, and while I waited on my boyfriend to arrive, I was provided bread so that was a treat. However, the location is in Buckhead Shops so the quality has to be outstanding, and they were just meh.
For the price point- which isn't ridiculous- the food was just very disappointing.

I had a nice bone to give to my dogs and fed them the dry meat from the duck. Such a shame because I wanted to "splurge" and as I am a pescatarian and I feel like I wasted my splurge on rubbery, bland food.

WOW is the only word that comes to mind. The atmosphere of the place was great, the food was absolutely spectacular, we had escargot, fois gras and beets for an appetizer, for our main course we had the duck which was incredible and the mussels which were the best mussels Ive ever had. The service was amazing as well. Literally, a five star experience.

Not worth the hype. We went for a birthday dinner on 04/18 with great expectations given the good reviews. I had made reservations over two weeks in advance, yet they didn t have a table available when we got to the restaurant. The drinks took forever to come and were not good at all, even though the place was not full (seemingly removed tables for added spacing). Our table was uneven, and our very inattentive server never fixed the issue. We had to repeatedly ask for our drinks (over 20 minutes wait!) and correct our food orders more than once. Common high end restaurant service was severely lacking from this place: no proper table service, no adequate silverware and glassware, no suitable utensils (steak knife), and a scarce service. To top it off, it was a warm evening, and they kept the doors open and the AC off, making the place hot and uncomfortable for indoor guests. Would not return and would definitely NOT RECOMMEND.

Located in the new Buckhead, this quaint but thoroughly modern, beautifully finished, elegantly appointed little French oasis is quite simply a joy to behold. With the classic selection of breads including croissants, brioche, and baguette, a wonderfully prepared selection of French entrees with a decidedly Americanized touch, creatively prepared omelettes with fresh ingredients of your choosing, there are few better ways to spend Sunday brunch.

Can't beat the patio in the late afternoon/evening for ambience. Charcuterie was priced well with little room for improvement. The salmon, however, I cannot stop thinking about that perfect sear. Highly recommend.

My wife and I shared the crab and tuna apps. Both were great. Crab highly recommended. For the main course, we split the cajun chicken and prime NY strip, both with frites. Solid portions and both were perfectly prepared and excellent with a nice sized leftover nosh. Outdoor seating and impeccable service rounded a good Covid outing.

My wife and I dined here for our Anniversary. We had been looking for a place that served mussels and escargot. We thought we had found the perfect place. However, we will not be returning here due to the horrible service we received.
We ordered a bottle of Champagne to celebrate and we were presented with white wine glasses. We thought it was a little weird they didn't provide champagne flutes. This was overlooked until later on in our meal, when we noticed other tables with flutes. We asked our server for flutes and she provided them just in time for our last glass. Not sure if the server was not trained properly (she also struggled with opening the bottle) or just an oversight.
The escargot was just meh. Not sure if the snails were fresh, we have had better. The foie gras was tasty. We then ordered the mussels and Jackpot!!! This was what we had been waiting for. They tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned and it was divine. It was so delicious, we ordered another order with our entree course. Steak tartare was good as well. We had ordered a bottle of wine with our entree and it went downhill from here. After our entree course, our server pulled a disappearing act. Not to be seen!!!! We even poured our own wine during dinner. The kicker was we wanted to take the left over mussels home and we asked for our food to be packaged. Rather than pack our food, we busser brought us a togo deli cup dropped it off on our table and just left. It seemed odd that other tables had their food packed. For all their policies and standards on trying to keep this restaurant upscale, they should really focus on their service first!!! I have had better service at WAFFLE HOUSE compared to this establishment.

Duck confit was over-cooked, completely dried out and very chewy. Waiter then had the audacity to say it s supposed to be dry and chewy. Have you never had duck confit before? HA! Gordon Ramsay would ve thrown him and the dish in the trash.

Worst duck and experience I've had. More disappointing than the final season of Game of Thrones. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Don t trust these google reviews - check out yelp.

Laughable.

French fries were decent - tasted like a fancy take on Burger King and McDonalds if I m being completely honest.

UPSIDE: Escargot and chicken were delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked.

All in all, should ve stuck with Bistro Niko! Much better at actually being authentically French.

Ps. To be fair, since this place had no A/C in the dead of summer, the real chefs may have stepped outside to cool down and forgot that the duck was cooking.

This restaurant is in the middle of an outdoor shopping area. There is valet parking for the shopping center not the restaurant, on a Saturday night it was very busy and slow. There is no dedicated restaurant valet, so you pay for it More

Had a very disappointing experience today at Le Bilboquet. Do not go here if you have any kind of dietary restriction because apparently the "chef" will not accommodate any modifications of the menu. Our waiter was also unsympathetic. He did not even ask what temperature for salmon so had to send it back. Will definitely never go back!

We always come here for casual meals while shopping and never had a bad experience. The food is always on point. I love mushroom risotto and tabouleh for appetizers. Bread is really good. Fish dishes and duck are terrific. Coffee is great and cucumber martinis are stellar. This place allows dogs inside its dining room, which I absolutely love and my pooch appreciates. The restaurant is also an amazing (quirky) people watching spot.

Just a disappointment. I read the reviews and was looking forward to a pleasant experience and it never came. There was one large occupied table at the time we got there, our party of two, and they sat us next to them ? The rest of the place was empty.
Sunday service was lacking good waitstaff. We got the preloaded everything ok . My veal was floating in sauce? And sadly the manager never even acknowledged our presence.
The location was convenient, music was fun, great mix, and the place was pretty. Maybe it was a Sunday and the B team was working?

Everything was so good. Risotto was out of this world, Cajun chicken was perfectly cooked, chocolate mousse was amazing, even the bread and butter was top notch. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint was the bussers were a little too aggressive. Would clear things while I was literally chewing my last bite, or in the case of our bread, took it before we were done. Minor annoyance though, the food made up for the service timing issues.

Great food and decor. Servers were Great. Had a reservation for 6:00. Were seated away from others. This was easy as few people there. At 7, as our main came, out a table of 4 was seated next to us. They were not 6 feet away, did not have masks and were enjoying themselves. This was unsettling to us as we are seniors and it was so unnecessary as the place was at most 30% capacity. We questioned the young lady who seated us as we left, why. She said it was for the servers convience , as the tables were close together. WOW. THE SERVERS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CUSTOERS. Guess while we love the place, we will not be back any time soon.
