Sam and Joshua professional and all around happy people. Gave me a call when they arrived. Scouted the best area in my house for the delivery. Asked if everything was to my liking. And the delivery was right on time!

These guys are incredible. That literally saved me! Very highly recommend!!

I ve used Schlep two times and on both occasions they were dependable and very careful with the items they delivered. I always ask for DJ...he s so sweet and thoughtful. Both times I had large bulky items that had to be maneuvered through a tight space and they were careful not to damage my newly painted walls!! I highly recommend them!!

Holy smokes do these guys rock. I have used these guys three times and every time they somehow find a way to impress me. I know right, that s weird to say about a company that moves things.

Today they moved me into a new building and the freight elevator for some reason didn t fit what I would deem is a normal size couch. Without blinking they said let s go up the stairs - which for some buildings is no big deal but I live on the 12th floor.

For context, another guy was getting a couch delivered at the same time, and the moving company refused to go up 15 flights with his couch. That s the difference when you hire these pros to move your stuff. Always on time, friendly staff and great energy. Will be using them again for next time I have anything I need to move.

Sam and Max brought in and assembled a large table and sofa. They were very professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend this service again.

So so great! Mike and Chris delivered an incredibly heavy sleeper sofa up to my second floor apartment- very diligent and careful not to damage the narrow hallway.

I only recently learned about Schlep and I'm glad I did! We booked a Schlep for a dresser and were very happy with the process from start to finish. The booking process was easy, and I appreciated the text message updates along the way. Our crew, Jake and Darryl, was prompt, friendly, and professional.

The delivery was timely and the delivery guys were very polite; however, they ended up scratching my brand new floors pretty badly. When I sent a complaint to Schlep, they never responded for a month. When they finally did, they told me that my complaint was closed. I forwarded them pictures and they were kind enough to reopen my case. After a ton of back and forth, and Schlep asking to see multiple pictures from multiple angles, they told me that there was nothing they could do for me and that I couldn't show that the scratches (which they admitted were really deep) were caused by Schlep. Now my brand new floors are scratched and Schlep charged me $110 for a delivery of a buffet less than 4 miles away. NOT worth it!

UPDATE: Schlep's response again fails to acknowledge what happened. I had absolutely no problem with the delivery guys. They were extremely polite and courteous and we even had great conversation in the 5 minutes they were at my place. I'm not sure what other facts Schlep operations needed. Simply put, before the Schlep delivery arrived, I didn't have a scratch on my floors. That evening, I noticed a scratch. And it was in the exact spot where the team slid over the buffet. Not sure what else these guys needed. Schlep said it didn't match their photo, but yeah, their photo was taken BEFORE the buffet was slid over.

I appreciate Schlep's gesture for the discount (and I won't be using it) but more than anything, I just wanted my floors fixed. Never had this much of an issue with a delivery group over a scratch. Any other company would've been a 100x more courteous in dealing with a customer issue. Their customer service is abysmal.

I've used Schlep several times to move heavy furniture. Once across town and the other to a storage unit on site. Both times the teams were really great very professional, friendly and handled my items with care. Requesting a Schlep was easy and cost effective too. Mike and Alex were beasts. The item was bulky, heavy, and somewhat fragile. They got it up three flights of tight stairs without a scratch. They were friendly and great to work with. Would ask them to move any of my stuff.

The M&M team (Michael & Morgan) in Chicago are great. They delivered my highboy w/care and moved it to the spot where I wanted it. I"d definitely use schlept it again!

Starting with Omar, who answered the phone after hours, Schlep has been the most easy and professional movers I have ever dealt with! Seemingly a small move, after 20 years of teaching, the small bins add up, the big bins add up faster and the next thing you know we filled a 14 foot van/truck. Luckily, Omar appropriately guesstimated my needs and sent Angels named Darryl and Dan!!! They loaded bins of books, after bins of books, ohh the bins of books they loaded. And then, just when we think we're done, Darryl and Dan had to unload book bin after book bin, up porch stairs and then down, old thin, duck your head into the basement stairs! Never a complaint, worked endlessly with one well deserved break. My goodness these Men worked hard for us! 60 plus bins, heavy as hell, the price was unbelievably low! So worth every dollar! Ask for Darryl and Dan, professional beyond professional! Either way. Omar will hook you up! These Guys are the Best! Thank you! C and J

I had the Team of Morgan and Sam help me with my current moves. They were professional and courteous. They kept me up to date as to where they were and when they would arrive. Once they arrived they quickly wrapped up everything securely and got it to the truck and moved into my space. Highly recommend them for any type of move you have. Will use again in the future

We had a great experience with Schlep. Our team, Mike and DJ, were able to get a large buffet up three flights of stairs efficiently and without issue. They were super friendly and made everything easy - will definitely use Schlep again!

First time working with Schlep - Team of DJ, Malik, Mike were great, super fast, careful. considerate. They coordinated a two-item (upright piano and sofa), two-stop pick-up, and smooth delivery.

Moving can be a very frustrating experience, but with Schlep it was fantastic. Jarrod and Tywone move all my furniture very carefully, but also complete the job quickly. I will be using the service for my future moves and hope to have the same team!

Very friendly and professional team! Picked up and transported a mattress to donate. They wrapped it in wrapping to protect the mattress and were careful in transporting it in my home not to knock down anything.

Just used Schlep to deliver a few barstools we ordered from Blue Dot and I am extremely pleased with the service. Sam was professional, efficient and punctual with the delivery. We had a window from 4-6 and Sam arrived 15 minutes early at 3:45. Seldom do you have a delivery service come on time let alone early. I'd highly recommend Sam for any future deliveries and really appreciate his services. Thanks Sam!

Sam & Lamont's crew were absolutely amazing. We had a huge sleeper sofa that needed to go up 4 flights of stairs with tight clearance. They realized they needed additional help and called 2 more guys in for backup.

They were thoughtful, careful not to damage anything, and had a pleasant attitude even though the couch was a BEAST.

Would recommend Schlep to anyone in Chicago for heavy moving.

Sam and Jay moved a one -piece oak Barrister Bookcase with glass fronts. They double wrapped bookcase with blankets and a layer of plastic wrap. I asked them if there was felt pads on the bottom of the bookcase and they said "No". I handed them the felt pads and they attached them at the truck before placing bookcase in my home. They were courteous, worked as a team to move efficiently. They texted me when they were on their way and upon arrival. It was a smooth move.

Received my first Schlep delivery today and it was great! I was so impressed with the service, and even in gross snowy weather everything went perfectly! Elijah and Morgan were great!

Schlep saved the day! Our team was friendly and efficient. They completed our schlepping task in an hour, and we were all smiles along the way. No stress, fair price and we didn't have to lift a finger. I can't recommend this service enough!! Thanks, Darryl and Richard!

I've used Schlep for both professional and personal reasons on a variety of occasions. Whether its moving the heaviest of furniture for a large event or helping me with a move, Schlep has been flexible, prompt (even early!) and friendly. I had a great experience with Mike and Morgan this morning, they even let me ride along. :)! Highly rec. for all your manual labor needs!

So glad to submit this review I've used Schlep twice now for deliveries from retail stores. Each store (West Elm and Blu Dot) recommended them (which was validating) and each experience was phenomenal. I say that because I never would imagine a delivery experience to be fun. With Schlep it is! Thanks to Jonathan, Jose and Fernando for bringing my new sofa and bedframe home safely.

Team Morgan and Michael easily and quickly moved my large window A/C and portable A/C units from basement storage to my third floor apartment. Easy booking, timely updates via phone and text about their arrival, and great moving service. Definitely would recommend.
