Le Bilboquet Buckhead Atlanta Review

Always a great dining experience, we even enjoyed a wonderful New Years Eve here. The atmosphere is perfect and the food is amazing. Definitely the best restaurant in the shops.

I wish my boyfriend and I had a better experience. We went to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and wish we chose another restaurant. We didn't feel welcomed by the staff and also were forgotten about by our waiter. He hardly came to our table and when he was there, couldn't say more than two words to us. We never received any bread which looked like all other tables did.. We skipped straight to the entree. Our food was just okay. Certainly not worth the price. Our waiter forgot our dessert so we ended up just asking for the check to go.

Five stars to Bria, Brae and Rabby our fav team with Christiana, always a piece of cake when they are around. Special thanks to MarK for his help .

The only thing is why, why being turned down at 5h30 pm, for early diner when most tables are opened and empty. I understand taking booking depending on how staffed you are, but it is frustrating to see empty tables being said no when you are come back clients.

I was extremely disappointed by my experience. This was the second time I had horrible service and an extremely snobby attitude by the staff. I have eaten here at least 10 times and keep giving it another chance because the food is amazing. I brought a friend who has never eaten here for a girls lunch and was mortified that this is the place I suggested. We would have at least 25 minutes (that's being kind) between waitress sightings and even ordered a lunch salad and was told 35 minutes later that it was no longer available. I want this place to succeed even when others have shared similar experiences, but am not likely to return. I hope management actually cares that their staff is extremely rude and stuck up.

I wasn't so impressed, been to better French restaurants.

Service was iffy. I wasn't exactly pleased with my initial entree choice and was told that I still had to pay for my meal despite my disdain. Didn't want to raise a big fuss about it, but will probably never go back because of that.

I used to drive by and be turned off that it was in the center of the drive with cars going by, but once I gave it a try and sat outside it was a charming spot. Excellent and helpful staff from hostess, server, and manager.

Great service and wine selection. Steak was lovely.

I've been several times. Today, I came to meet someone who was unable to make it so, alone I sat at the bar and was welcomed by Chris and other staff who made me feel very comfortable. My salad was delicious and abundant. This joint is everything it tries to be: sophisticated, uplifting, and friendly with great food!

Fine dining at it's best. Started with the cooked to perfection risotto. Then the cajun chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was tender with touch of spiciness. The mashed potatoes was smooth and delicious. No room for dessert. Also a very comfortable environment.

4.5 Stars, but probably not 5-stars. We had a very good meal with great wine and a superb server. This place was very busy and it located in the heart of the shops in Buckhead. Very good food and wine. Prices were a bit too high, especially the wine. Tables are close together.

Food is consistent and the atmosphere is upbeat. Great outdoor patio.

It was my first time in Atlanta with my family
We walked in as a party of 3 at 11 am on sunday December 23. The restaurant was empty. I was so excited to try out this location since we ve been to others in ny and texas. The hostess couldn't accommodate us a table even though the whole restaurant was empty. She said there is a wait and first reservation is at 12. Such bad service from her part. I was really disappointed

Stumbled across Le Bilboquet while shopping at the Shops of Buckhead. Enjoyed a late lunch on a Monday and was pleasantly surprised: The food, service and atmosphere was just what we needed for a girls day out. The staff seemed genuinely happy to be there which made our visit that much more enjoyable. Compliments to our server Elise. We enjoyed all of her recommendations. Can t wait to return with the mister.

Lunch not good. Could not eat salad that was swimming in curry. Pricey place too. Buckhead has some really good restaurants. This is not one of them.

My customer service experience was horrible and the food was horrible. On August 10, 2018 I had lunch at Le Bilboquet. I arrived at 12:30 and I left at 1:55 pm because of the late arrival of my food. Unfortunately my strip steak was rough, tough and overcooked too hard. The waitress saw me struggling trying to cut my steak but the food took so long to arrive that I had to box it up and go to a meeting back at my office. I had to leave the restaurant quickly.
I called back the next morning on August 11, 2018 and I spoke to a Jennifer. She stated that she would replace my meal and give me a call back.
I called back on August 13, 2018 approx. 6:00pm and I spoke to a Mark. He placed me on hold and he spoke to the General Manager and Jennifer. Apparently Jennifer was dishonest and lied and stated that she called me back. She did not call me and I proof per my phone calls activity I did not receive a phone call from her. Then Mark stated that I ate half of my steak but that s another lie and I have attached a picture. Mark later stated in a rude manner over the phone that I should have said something sooner than a day. I explained to him that is very rude and discourteous.
Also he refused to allow me to speak to the General Manager.
Please look at the picture how Tough and Overcooked a $50.00 steak.
I never asked for my money back. I only asked if they would prepare a better at my next visit.
This is a classless and overrated restaurant.

A very bad experience today, a Manager with the name Jennifer made my family and I feel unwelcome for wearing sport type clothing. She mentioned us the dress code but as we left I saw other people at the restaurant dressed like us and it made us feel like she was trying to kick us out specifically. We went back to tell her and she gave us a cold response by proceeding to tell us again that they had no space to sit us. I can t believe such a nice restaurant is run by people who don t do anything to ensure that their customers come back by their great service. Truly a sad experience. She as the manager represents the Restaurant and Her attitude today made it look so bad.

Great place to go for a drink or a night on the town.

Dissapointing experience. We had 8:45 dinner reservations for 4 and then they sat us at this tiny table. We politely asked for one of the other, larger, and open tables, but they refused: "those are reserved". Baffled on what it means to them to make a reservation, we took this selfie and promptly left, disappointed.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at Le Bilboquet. My husband ordered the Cajun Chicken and I ordered the Salmon. Both selections were exceptional. We cannot wait to spend the evening here again!

This place is so fresh and breezy! I swear there's nothing like a spring day on their terrace! My favorite things here are the white wines, champagne and I get a salad topped with salmon. Perfecto!

View and location were awesome and the rooms are modern. Would recommend to everyone. Food is delicious and fair well priced when compared with others in the area. This place simply knows how to please their customers.

Very good food, a bit overpriced for the overall quality. I order mussels, which were delicious and in a generous portion, but very small and a lot of work for tiny bites of meat. Wait staff is fantastic - most concerned with the customers enjoyment. They make suggestions based on the customers taste and not just on the menu price. That and the atmosphere is what is makes this place stand out.

Really unimpressed with service here. It's a fancy looking place with hefty prices, but I've gotten way better service at Olive Garden. So many things went wrong with our dinner. Just to mention a few: my drink took about 15 minutes to be fixed (extremely bitter), after waiting a while for our server to fix our wobbly table we had to slip a napkin underneath ourselves, our appetizer plates weren't cleared before bringing entrees, I had to ask for a spoon for my soup, my friends weren't given steak knives with their steaks, one of our side orders was wrong, we were never really asked if our food was good, the list goes on. To top it all off after consuming $400+ of food and drinks we were charged for a birthday dessert. The food was average, certainly not worth the price. Would not recommend.

Extraordinary! The cajun chicken is to die for! It looks like an angel came right from heaven and cooked that exquisite plate...

Escargot was outstanding. Service was subpar at best. The rest was average. I wouldn t recommend this place to a friend.

A preferred place for tasty French food. I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. I look forward to a return visit. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. This place has positive reviews for a reason.

Attended a graduation brunch, did not care for the waitress but I highly recommend the salmon and Rose'. This is also a good date day/night spot, very intimate

Love this place in Buckhead. Always buzzing, great service and wonderful food.

Only two stars because the service was very attentive, the staff did their best to make our visit enjoyable. However, the noise level was deafening and the food abysmal. Not intimate, not charming. If you're well-heeled and looking for an over-40 bar scene, this is it.

If you have some extra cash in your pocket, this is a nice French Bistro to wet the appetite. The lunch menu worked surprisingly well for my mother inlaw who is a gluten free vegan. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere does feel like you've found your way to Paris. Enjoy.

Le Bilboquet was amazing. The food was perfectly cooked. Their French Fries are also very good. I would go to that place over and over again. The Cajun chicken was awesome.

This place was amazing. I usually never do reviews but I had to take the time out just to say how phonomenal this place was. My gf loved it. Its worth absolutely every penny and you will not be disappointed... Service was beyond 5 star

Surely a place worth trying, the food is awesome and fresh, the rates are affordable and it is constantly neat in here. Highly recommended.

1 star based on the dress code alone. It's 2021. When we pointed out that another patron was not in-line with said dress code, we were informed it was the manager. The manager was violating the restaurant's strict dress code as our business was turned away. This type of shallow discrimination says a lot about their unhealthy culture and honestly I feel bad for their staff being put in a position to enforce such an outdated policy. You should not have to look wealthy to enjoy a casual lunch.

Nice ambiance. However, the service wasn t all that great. We had to flag our waitress down a few times. I noticed most of the waitresses and waiters were huddled up chatting. Not a good look.

Nestled in the heart of the new #BuckheadAtlanta, Le Bilboquet brings France to Atlanta. Bright and light during the daytime, it beams of a traditional French cafe adorned with yellow lilies. Butter is decorated with the restaurant name, water is served in wine glasses, white cotton napkins for use, and set silver is nothing short of Buckhead expectations. The kale/quinoa salad was incredible with a nice lemony zest and the apple tart dessert was prepared just as is in Paris. I can't wait to come back in for dinner. A perfect date spot or place to take your parents while they're in town.

First time here. But it was very delicious. The service was immaculate and an overall wonderful experience.

french food, yeah, so good. visited on a wednesday i think. this place has a cool atmosphere.

The butter and bread was delicious! I also had a lavender cocktail that was so refreshing, just like the atmosphere here.

I m being kind. It s a lovely spot with a cheery and attentive staff and we had fun. But don t go for authentic French food-go for tasty food and bougie ambience and you ll be happy. We ordered the steak frite and asked for aioli for the frites, and the server didn t know what it was. He said, We got ketchup, mustard and mayo!

If you're looking for perfectly prepared French cuisine, this is not it. Not a good value, really ordinary menu.

I love that the chef is Burkina Faso, the food is delicious the service is so so, depending on who you get. Celeste is the best waitress there and a beautiful tall lady who speaks french is also very pleasant.

Not sure if the Cajun chicken is a traditional French dish but enjoyed it. Very selective beer menu here.

Food was very good, although wife got the mussels and said they had no flavor. Very nice spot as it feels like you are in a corner cafe in Paris.

Not a very good experience the other evening... The loud, obnoxious drunk lady at the bar should have been our indication to run. Regardless, a couple of mediocre appetizers and a couple of acceptable entrees thereafter. Service toward the end was challenging as it took extraordinary efforts to get our waiter s attention. He seemed confused that our 20-minute staring at our finished plates meant we were done eating... just wanted the check and to get out of there. First online review in quite a while but felt the experience deserved documenting. Will not return.

This place is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a decent meal, this is the place that comes right away to my mind. excellent and many types of food and a rich cuisine.professional team, and nice vibes. And very important, the tariff is reasonable. I tell about this place with no hesitation.
