Largest RV dealer EQUALS huge headaches on any kind of service. Make an appointment, lol that s a joke. They overbook themselves so an appointment has very little meaning. It s ran like a circus show. If you want disorganization and have time to waste this is your place. Absolutely horrible, buyer beware

Advertised as the largest RV dealer in the US, so I was surprised they had such a small inventory of class Bs & B+. Not a lot of choices. Salesman was friendly enough, but pretty negative when talking about models we might be interested in.

Just want to pass on my experience at Lazy Days Ta...

Just want to pass on my experience at Lazy Days Tampa. My wife, brother in law and I was looking for a travel trailer/5th wheel for my brother in law to live in. Our budget was small so options were limited. We had been at Lazy Days a month or so ago to look around and the salesman at that time really did not have an interest in helping us in any way. Basically wanted to get rid of us so that he could move on to a bigger deal. I wish I remembered his name but I don't. Today was completely different. The receptionist put us with Darin Touchton. I had printed out a couple of options off the website that I showed him. He took the time to review his inventory then we went back to his office. Again options were limited in our budget range, but he took the time to look and found another unit that might fit the bill. He took us out to look at the units we wanted to look at and on the way he took the time to tell us a little about himself and Lazy Days. He provided great information about Lazy Days that I found interesting. We then arrived at the units and he did not rush us let us look and ask questions. Again very helpful. We did decide on a newly received used 5th wheel which was out of our price range, but he though he could get us to where we needed to be budget wise. He went through the process of writing up the deal and of course the sales manager song and dance. Brought us back an proposal, we counter offered which they accepted, thus we purchased the 5th wheel. Darin was incredibly helpful and even though it was a smaller purchase, I don't believe he looked at it much different than a million deal. Lazy Days is very lucky to have a salesman like Darin. He is knowledgeable about RV'x and try's to help even those with a lesser budget. In a few years when I retire my wife and I want a travel trailer/5th wheen to do some traveling. Lazy Days will definitely be a stop in our purchase of an RV. And I hope Darin is still at Lazy Days, as I will definitely be asking for him as my salesperson. He was outstanding.

Just wanted to add to my review of my Lazy Days experience. Worked with several of your staff the day we did the walk through of the unit prior to Lazy Days delivery of unit. Of course, when we arrived at Lazy Days we were greeted by the receptionist. I asked for Darin and the receptionist called him and he came right out. He initially turned us over to Markle Janner, Business Manager. He was very professional with handling of the finalization of the deal. Informed us of important information we needed to know and had us in and out very quickly. Next was insurance, not much interaction there as the lady, don't remember her name, after a short discussion, she took my brother-in-laws email and said she could email us quotes. Had to wait for a little bit for somebody to do the walk through, but that is understandable as to the number of units going through Lazy Days. George Charneco took us on the walk through and he was very helpful going over various aspects of the coach. He answered any questions we had and was very thorough. While going through the walk through, Andy Woods stopped in to see how things were going. He and my brother-in-law had spoken on Thursday by phone to schedule the delivery. Andy again was very helpful and said the unit had not been detailed yet but it was going to be and not to worry about delivery. He was good for his words. Finally Ron, and I believe his last name is Bowman, contacted us on Saturday morning to let us know he was leaving Lazy Days with the trailer and that he would call when he was about 10 minutes out, which he did. We met up with Ron who introduced himself and was very pleasant to deal with. Took him to trailer site, where he backed the unit in assisted us in getting it set on site properly, which did not take much time. He made some recommendations concerning various aspects of the unit. Ron was very courteous and friendly and was willing to help. Again I give your team an A+ for the whole experience, I will be back in the future.

I visited lazy days-Tampa on June 9. I'm an 8 month pregnant female that was in email communication with a sales rep= Mike. I informed him, that I had a business meeting & I could allot 2.5 total hours there to view trailer I already knew I wanted. I previously did my research/homework & confirmed 3 days prior to arriving, if a price match guarantee could be done, with a dealer out of florida, because they were drastically lower in cost. I informed Mike I was coming from Gainesville. After emailing me a website policy about their price match, it was determined, what I needed to make this easy. I gathered all papers, out the door quotes, web links, company letterhead breakdown of prices. We brought a check to write a deposit on trailer. We had a different sales person who showed us the trailer= Pascal. I informed him that I wanted to confirm layout, I was ready to make a deal, as long as he could price match. Lazy days website states: WE BEAT ANY PRICE, ANYTIME! we had to wait in the office over 2 hours. I repeated 7x to him, I was going to be late for my business meeting & if he could not do the deal, not to waste time. After searching hallways for him after a very long delay, a random salesman paged him to return. 10 mins later, Pascal & manager Desmond returned. Upon shaking Desmond s hand, I said: I have a meeting & have to leave in 10 mins. Desmond went on for 20 mins chatting on everything else besides trailer, which was annoying-it wasted more time. doing nothing but smiling at me with big eyes & randomly talking on personal stuff, I stopped listening, as it did not pertain to price match on trailer. giving me the manager s spiel on advertising, marketing, & business accounts he could pull money from , he said I needed to sign by 6p or deal was off. Interesting thing: when I asked for the manufacturer specs on cost of amenities in unit, it was like pulling teeth. All I was verbally told by Desmond was I WAS GETTING THE BEST DEAL THROUGH HIM & my negotiation skills got me a 2500$ lower on the price. Desmond assured that I was receiving way more for my money there buying at their higher price. When I asked for their specs to compare to specs from the competitor for price match, I was not given it. I told him I wanted to see with my own eyes why their price was higher. What Desmond did not realize, was that my research, homework, & efforts of trailer comparisons on ABSOLUTE identical models, available all online, was what should have got me a lower price by 4300.00$, then my negotiation skills would have kicked in for anything extra. The fact of not showing me specs on paper & just telling me i was being duped by another dealer, which provided me everything with ease when I asked for it & was extremely easy to work with on finalized prices, using outside bank financing, I had a horrible taste in my mouth at that point from lazy days. I did not like Desmond or Mike s, 1st impressions towards me, addressing me like I was inferior in negotiating & ill-equipped to make best deal for my family on a trailer & then actually telling me there is no findings of what I was talking about for the competitor, when Pascal pulled it up himself online. I finally got the specs of the lazy days unit, from a nicer salesman, named Rob A. It was proven, I was getting a better deal & a more upgraded unit, with $4300.00 lower price tag on the identical trailer, just had to go to Alabama. I had the dishonor of working with Mike & Desmond, & then called back & Rob was very informative/helpful in information. I was NOT able to make a deal, no matter how I tried to go about it or how much effort I put in to gathering everything lazy days asked me for, regarding the price match. AN ENORMOUS WASTE OF MY TRAVEL EXPENSE TO TAMPA & MY TIME is literally an understatement, especially when I was nothing but truthful & honest from the start of reaching out to them. I personally DID NOT receive the decency, respect, or assurances I was told I could when deciding to work with Lazy days. Sorry my experience was way less than satisfactory!!! :(

Our experience was horrible! We are in the market for a fifth wheel and couldn't find anyone to help us! Multiple employees walked by us and other than saying "welcome to lazy days" they didn't bother to see if we needed help or not. Finally we asked a guy outside if he could show us some used fifth wheels and he dropped us off and left us there (which is no where near where the parking lot is)! Then he never came back to check on us and we had to call him to get a ride back to the main office; since, yet again, multiple employees rode by on golf carts but no one bothered to ask if we needed a ride. I will never again consider lazy days for my rv needs after this horrible experience!

We arrived 30 minutes before closing time inquiring about upgrading our current motorhome. The secretary was very kind and said she'd have a salesman right with us. Shortly after that up walks David Underwood. His personality and energy were very engaging and made us feel right at home. What surprised us most about David is though it was closing time, and he understood we were only looking, he did the best he could in a story time to present our best options. If and when we decide to purchase a different motorhome, it will be with David and Lazy Days RV.

Had to wait 30 minutes to get a salesman to help after the original salesman was on a road test. Told the unit was available only to find out after driving an hour to their facility that someone else had a depsoit on the unit we were interested in. Then took 2+ hours to look at the unit and get pressure to leave $1000 deposit even though I was now the backup person to the unit .Told the salesman and Finance people I needed to get home as it was my sons birthday that day but did not matter to them as getting my money was priority. Now, when the deal did not work out it has been 3 weeks today still waiting for my $1000 deposit to be returned. Emailed the person who sent me the email stating he turned it in that day for my refund and asked if the refund would be a credit to my account or a mailed check and no response. Needless to say I would not return even if they have the best price and to be honest I got a better unit at a lower price at RV One in Tampa.

Went to buy our first used RV we got a sales person that was new ,we should have asked for some one else . He kept showing us more pricey and new ones and not what we were looking for . Finally after 2 visit we found a new one on there web site .That's when things turned bad . We were taken over to their loan guy (BEWARE) not a good person ! After that we could not get any questions really answered , they just wanted us to show up BLIND and sign everything . When we finally got them to email us the paper work so we could review it before the pick up date , it was wrong and more money . We ask for our deposit back .

After looking at and researching MANY RVs, we finally found ours at LazyDays (online). We drove over 3.5 hours because even the online and phone service was worth it! Kelly Kelley was the most INCREDIBLE sales person. He was a great listener, remained attentive throughout the entire process, and didn't push us for anything. I could talk about his excellence and care for far too long, so I want to make sure that he is recognized for the personal care he gave us and for the extended amount of time and patience he offered to us as we were getting everything in order. This is our first rig and Kelly Kelley and the LazyDays team has launched us into camping bliss.

Just wanted to share my purchase experiance and warn any potential buyers about Lazy Days in Tampa Florida. Less than a month ago I purchased a used DP. It supposedly came with a 30 day warranty from them. Within the first week, they claimed I had a power surge at my house and put 480 volts to my coach which resulted in a $7800 claim against my insurance. They made this claim stating that I could not run the generator and have it plugged into shore power at the same time. What is the transfer switch for? They provided no reasonable explanation, although when I picked it, there was a different transfer switch installed, with a manufactured date of 3/2012. How did that end up in a coach built in 2002? Then yesterday, the 30 second timer delay board in the transfer switch burnt up because of a loose neutral connection made in the transfer switch. The timer board is only a $30 part from esco and all I wanted was to have the piece shipped to me so I could replace it. Why drive 3 hours for a $30 part that takes 5 minutes to switch. All I got was another run around from them about getting that replacement part.

I have no interest in ever doing business again with a company that operates this way.

Was extremely excited

Was extremely excited
was going to pick up my brand new RV today. Waited for over an hour in the lobby just to have somebody help me to my RV and do the initial walkthrough. Sales associate was extremely helpful showing the different features of the trailer. But much to my dismay upon entering the RV the three things that were on my list to have fixed we're never attended to. So after waiting 10 days to pick up my RV I will now wait an additional 3 more days and I got to spend eight hours at the dealership today. So that's why I am only giving them 3 stars hopefully I can update this with more stars on Tuesday. I will never buy from lazy days again. Customer service is lackadaisical at best. Once they get your money their done with you.

We have always been big fans of Lazy Days but we bought a new motor home from them in early February. The sales person was wonderful. We have needed a number of warranty punch list items done on our RV. We have had 3 service advisors over the last 6 months. All except the first one have done a terrible job of keeping us informed of the progress on the work on our rv, they have given us incorrect information about when parts are in and, most importantly, they do not proactively call us with any information. And usually I have to call the service advisor 3 or 4 times before I get a call back.

We are still waiting for more than a month for them to send us parts so we can have the work done else where. I can not recommend them because their customer service has gotten so bad. I will be buying my rvs elsewhere in the future.

Was not impressed. Salesman and staff not so interested in those of us wanting pre-owned RVs. Raining the day we were there and not once were we offered a ride in the DOZENS of parked/empty golf carts. We were told to drive around on our own.
They were, however more than happy to take our contact information. I'm sure I'm going to get calls and emails ad nauseum. I guess I will spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.

Very very nice park. The blacktop is nice and flat. Reasonable rates. Front office is very friendly, and very safe with Covid protocol. It was our first time camping so they gave us a spot that was easy to get in and out of at no extra charge. Bathrooms and pool are extremely clean. Wi-fi is pretty bad, and that is the only reason I can't do 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great buying experience for my wife and I. There was a little negotiation needed to get our trade where we wanted it, but they came through, thank you Orondae. We purchased a brand new trailer and the delivery was professional, however the unit was dirty, but I was going to detail it anyway. We decided not to stay the night being we lived in clearwater, so I would assume everything worked. The microwave was the only issue of which their service department did fix it in a timely manner. Thanks to Sean and Mike. Would definitely buy from them again.

Great place to look at RV's and get ignored. Only get two stars for having lots of RV's to look at. We walked around two miles and only got talked to by a very nice guy repairing an rv and got a hello when I went in to the main area to use the restroom. We drove an hour and a half to get there. If you wanna look at RV's go here, but if you want information go elsewhere. We will be buying in a few months but not from here.

Walked in and my wife and I felt ignored and awkward. The person at the front desk stared at us when we said we wanted to look at 5th wheels. Instead of giving us a sales person we were given a card and asked to call if we saw something we liked (even though there were people available). Pretty sad because we had high expectations from such a large dealer. The only positive was the very nice lady handing out drinks.

Awesome experience , sad to see bad reviews. I think to often people that have a great experience forget to review. Tim Taylor in sales was awesome. Very patient and listened to find just the right coach for us. Dana our adviser responded quickly to every question we had. Jan in delivery was so knowledgeable about the product we felt completely comfortable driving away, and last but not least was Shannon in service , long after the sale he has been there to answer every question for us and quick to respond. Jeff the GM took the time to meet with us to give us
the personal touch. Everyone went over and above , I cannot say enough good about our experience at Lazy Days. Highly recommend this dealer.

Do not use this dealer!!!!!!! I purchased a used RV (2011 Keystone Montana) from Lazy Days in early 2018. i spent an additional $1500.00 + to have a secondary air conditioner put into the bedroom area. i just found out today that they did a very poor job installing it which has caused the roof in the RV to leak and now I have to have the roof replaced as it has apparently been leaking all the while but we didn't know it until it was so bad it leaked onto the bed. Here we go another 5k or so out of my pocket because of someone else's shoddy workmanship. I also had several issues right after purchase that they didn't address either. Once they have your money they do not care or take any responsibility. They are really very nice until they cash your check, they they could care less. if i could give them minus stars I would.

We had our 5th wheel in service for very minor repairs. We were quoted 2000. But most would be covered by warranty. We never could get chad to give us updates on cost Took a week and a half longer than told because parts weren t ordered( we made appointment a month before). When we picked it up our part was over 2800 that we had to pay. Chad just shrugs shoulders and said. That s what it cost! We asked to speak to his supervisor Linda. She finally calls us back after 2 weeks of phone tag. Her only response was what do you want! The were very unprofessional! I would never do service work at lazy days again! There all about the sale no service!

I was very much satisfied with Ms Samantha for the service she provided. She kept me well informed and fixed things that I did not even see was wrong. My fifth wheel is a Grand Design Solitude and I use it for hunting, fishing, and trips to the beach. The inside of my unit was a sportsman's paradise. I had deer hunting equipment, fishing rods and tackle boxes, knifes, flashlights, and all types of camping gear. All the personnel working on my unit were very professional and not take one thing. The repair was done so professionally you could not see where there had been any damage. If I have another mishap I can assure you that I will take my coach to Lazydays.
Thank you,
By the way my name is Ken Roberts not Aaron Roberts.

Stay Away.

Stay Away.
During the buying process, they were great, .post-sale however, when things are breaking (4.5 months after delivery) they tend to just bounce you around on the phone for a while until finally just telling you to schedule time with their service group. This is the third issue we have had to deal with so now it's time to speak up.

We live in our rig full-time so when the refrigerator fails, it is kind of a big deal. I called to schedule an appointment with their service group who informs me the earliest they can squeeze us in is mid-November, today is October the 15th. They expect us to live full-time, (in Florida no less) without a refrigerator for A MONTH!

I have already diagnosed the issue and verified my findings with Dometic Support so I am confident in my assessment, all I need now is the part. I am also very capable of replacing the board myself but to do so would void my warranty. So, what am I supposed to do... Very, very disappointed.

Update: They 'ordered' the replcacement board on last Friday, I called today (Tuesday) to get the tracking number only to find out they never ordered it!!!

For RVers and/or those looking to buy an RV this is THE place in Florida. The one star short is because of the parts/supply store. The store is nice but I was a little disappointed in the expert desk area -- the guy who waited on me was less than enthusiastic about helping me and also provided incorrect information. And the return policy on items in sealed packaging (if you open and it doesn't work, can't return) is absurd. On the sales floor ask for Rico - he knows his stuff.

If you are looking to buy an RV, Lazy days RV of Tampa is the place to go.
They knock it out of the park as far as customer service, knowledgeable on there units, and after buying a unit, weather it is new or used, they go above and beyond making sure everything is in working order and you are happy with your purchase. They have an area that you stay overnight or a couple nights if need be to try everything out and make a list of things that need fixing. There not happy until you are happy. From begining to end they have a stellar operation and I can't praise them enough for there overall service. From the salesman, to the finance person, to the tech that worked on our unit to the adviser that makes sure everything gets done, it is just awesome!
So if your in the market to buy an RV, this is the place you want to go. P. S. Brent was our adviser, and he went out of his way to fix everything we listed. Never made us feel like we were just knit picking.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Last week we were camping at Ft DeSoto County Park...

Last week we were camping at Ft DeSoto County Park in St. Petersburg and just went in to Lazy Days to shop around and get an idea of what we wanted to purchase in the future to trade our travel trailer. We were assisted by Kelly Brantley. She got an idea of what we wanted and guess what, we purchased a new RV that day! After our stay at Ft DeSoto, we went to Lazy Days to take delivery of our new RV that was purchased 3 days before and stayed the night for a "shake down" of the RV at the change over pavilion. We found a couple of very minor items, most of which were learning the operation of the RV. I cannot say enough about Kelly. My wife Carol and I, always felt we were #1. She went above and beyond the above and beyond. While we were going through the purchase process, she kept checking back with us to ask if she could expedite anything. She found us just what we wanted. Brent Wiggers, Delivery Advisor, also assisted with our orientation to the new RV. I discovered that I had a faulty shore cord after I got home and Mr. Wiggers immediately shipped a new cord which I had in two days. We have contact numbers if we need anything else or have further questions. Mr Mattos also made the financial arrangements very easy. The entire experience at Lazy Days was totally positive. I will refer people there to purchase RV's and specifically to Kelly Brantley as their Sales Consultant. She is one hard working caring soul.

Thank you for a great experience,
Richard & Carol Poole, Lake City FL

We were very impressed with every facet of Lazy Days. Dan Porter of the Lazy Days internet department assisted us with great patience and professionalism as we picked just the right trailer for our needs. Especially noteworthy was the delivery of our Grand Design Reflection. Dakota took his time to explain all the details, and we felt quite enlightened by the end of his tour. Jimmy was exceptionally professional in explaining the equalizer hitch, and fielded our other first-time RVer questions with confidence and patience. In short, everyone with whom we came in contact was professional. This is a first-class company. We got a great price, but, just as importantly, great service.

We recently purchased a used 2016 DRV Elite Suites from Lazy Days. Jonathan Dent, our salesman was great to work with! He responded to our questions even after the sale was done; we highly recommend him.

Although we waited 6 weeks to actually pick up the unit (a window had gotten broken and it took several weeks to get a replacement from the manufacturer), we were very happy with the customer service we received overall. Manny in the service department installed our Andersen hitch king pin connector and gave us a hitching demonstration. After hitching up, we realized that the brakes to the coach weren't working. He and his foreman Andy worked very hard trying to troubleshoot the problem. They discovered the brake actuator wasn't working properly with our truck and they immediately replaced it. Andy realized that due to the height of our truck, we would not clear the Tonneau cover on the bed rail if we made a 90 degree turn. Again, he and Manny lowered the MorRyde King Pin and raised the ball on the hitch to make it safe for us. We were very appreciative that they stayed late to get us on the road after the initial 6-week wait.

On another note in case anyone else has this problem; we were still concerned about the clearance of the king pin and we contacted Andersen who referred us to a technician. He told us to reverse the king pin connector to provide more clearance. Though we haven't tested it out in the field, my husband measured the new distance and it looks like we should have no issues.

5 Stars for RV Buying Experience. We saw the Tiffin RV we loved at the Hershey PA RV show. Rather than accept the "Show Special", we called around, and Lazy Days was able to deliver the best pricing for a unit we wished to special order.
When the RV came in in December, we headed down there. After reading many internet boards about new RV issues, we were very satisfied with Lazy Days delivery process. With most dealers, you drive the RV off the lot after a brief introduction, and it is up to you start uncovering issues after you have possession. Lazy Days is different than other dealers.

Lazy Days had plugged in and ran all systems in the RV for a few days before our arrival. They have a long pre-delivery check list that includes plumbing, electrical, appliances, generator, lighting, HVAC, and cosmetic issues. Their technicians uncovered issues and fixed them before we even arrived.
When we arrived, we stayed in the RV for 3 nights, plugged in on their lot, to try everything out. The few issues we uncovered on our own were fixed as soon as we uncovered them.
While we were there, we took some of their on site classes, such as a new driver class.
When we left, they had filled the gas tank (big $$$) and we drove home trouble free and happy. No wonder they are the biggest and the best.

Great, Troy DeClair didn't make us felling pressured, or rushed, took his time talking to us getting a feel of what we are looking for. Then he showed us about 6 units in our price range. We didn't buy today we are just RV Shopping. But, We were really impressed with his sales knowledge. Said he knows what we want and will be keeping an eye out for us. We will be back and buying a unit soon. Thanks so much Lazydays RV of Tampa..

We had a great experience purchasing our RV at Lazy Days. People were great, the most friendly of any dealer I visited. Low pressure and took the time to answer any questions we had. After sale issues are handled with constant communication until resole. This goes for the sales team to the sales manager to the business manager to the delivery advisor who spent 4 plus making sure we understood and were comfortable with all the systems. They also allowed us to stay on property for the weekend in the new RV to make sure everything was OK. Give them a try if you want honesty.

Today my husband and I decided to look at new recliners for our RV. Diane was our associate and an absolute sweetheart! My husband had a question and she radioed a gentleman named Rico Holton. He came right over to help even though he was on his way to lunch! Diane showed us some recliners and some were just not right. Let's buzz Rico! He was right there to help. He explained that there were some kids playing on them and broke them. (Why do some parents allow kids to do that?) Mike (hubby) wanted lunch so we told Diane we'd be back. We weren't sure if the one chair would fit in my spot because of the slide. Rico (poor sweet Rico) came to our RV to measure. I was right! Mike and Rico went to the store, got the right chairs, Rico removed the old recliners, installed the new and just had a fabulous personality! Awesome experience! Thank you for all your help!

We went on a whim to one of their free lunch Satur...

We went on a whim to one of their free lunch Saturday events. Really loved our camper, but it's fun to look. We met Brandon Denny, part of the sales team. After talking with him he began to show us a few used 5th wheels. As we were leaving one, I noticed a Mesa Ridge. It was not on his list, but he looked up the info real quick and it was in the ballpark. Needless to say we fell in love. After negotiating a deal was struck. That's when things began to happen. All of which were beyond his control. Brandon stood by our side, had our best interest at heart and worked non-stop, going well above what others would have. Several times I asked myself if it was worth it. Brandon steps up and saves the day. After almost three weeks we finally brought it home. This man should get sales person of the year. Having bought campers, cars, boats I have never had such a great person helping through the process. If you are looking for a RV now is a good time, LazyDays has a great selection, and Brandon is the best salesperson by far. You can have confidence that he will treat you right.

I would not recommend purchasing any RV from Lazy ...

I would not recommend purchasing any RV from Lazy Days. I recently purchased a RV from them less than 1 year ago and now have major floor issues. The RV is a 2013 and was supposed to be reviewed by Lazy Days before I have gotten it. They will tell you that they do a inspection on every RV, but the truth is we had issues before we even gotten it off of the lot. Bottom line they want $5,000 to fix it. Thats almost 20% of what I pay for it. I am so disappointed..
