Great Experience when buying a RV, but after that ...

Great Experience when buying a RV, but after that good luck. I purchased my Class A motorhome on April 15 2017 and as expected there are a few things that need to be fixed. So I had an appt on June 8 to address these issues. One of the issues was that the shades on driver and passenger sides do not go all the way down. (They are not long enough) Should be a simple fix. Anyways they did not get fixed that day. My service advisor Shawn Glasgow told me they had to get the measurements and that he would order the parts and get back to me. Waited a couple weeks and tried to call Shawn to find out if he ordered the shades. Called twice and left a message but no call back so I emailed my delivery advisor Marroe Gladstone on 6/22 and told her, she emailed me back before the end of the day (thanks) and told me if I do not hear from Shawn to email her back. So I waited til 6/27 and did not hear from Shawn so I emailed Marroe again and later that day Shawn calls me and leaves a message saying he forgot to order the shades and he would order them tomorrow. OK. On 7/11 I called Shawn and left a message for him to call me back. No call back. So on 7/17 I called to Meagan to complain about Shawn not calling back and to see if he indeed ordered the shades. SURPRISE!!! Come to find out he didn't order them. So Meagan assigned me another advisor Mike Herndon and they were gonna order the shades. So we set up another appt on 8/24 and Meagan said to call a week or two before the appt to make sure the shades were there, so I did and they were. 8/24 comes around and bring my RV in after sitting there all day when I pick it up they tell me that they ordered the wrong size. (are you kidding me) And they tell me they will get back to me. 9/18 I called and left message for Mike Herdon, no call back. 9/21 I called and left Mike another message, guess what no call back. 9/22 I decided to call Forest River I left a message and within a hour or two they called me back.So I tell them what is going on and they tell me that Lazy Days has still not ordered the part from them. This is ridiculous. I also had some screws fall out of the dinette and had them fix that while it was there the last time. They just put the same screws back in and as soon as I touched the dinette the screws fell right back out. I could go on but...

I have purchased 6 RV's-3 from LazyDays and 3 from other dealerships.
The 3 other dealerships can not hold a candle to LazyDays inventory, customer service etc.
If there is a 7th, it will be from LazyDays.

We stopped in yesterday to start our research in a future purchase of a fifth wheel. We got paired with Leigh upon arrival. Leigh was fantastic! She spent time with us understanding what we are looking for and then helped us narrow down what we really needed and wanted. She let us pelt her with questions as we are first time RV buyers. She communicated in a way that was FOR us and not trying to sell us on something. We appreciate that greatly.

We look forward to having her help us once we are ready to buy. Thanks Leigh for the time and great customer service!

There sales team was first rate. The new trailer we ordered was ready for us, no failures of any kind. The lot at Lazydays enabled us to park our old rig next to the new and we were able to stay overnight while we transferred our stuff. Outstanding!

Got our Exit Pass today after staying overnight and are glad we chose LazyDays Tampa. Jeri Abell started our journey by ordering online to her wonderful partner Leo Hill who saw to it that everything moved smoothly. Janice Patterson always greeted us at the lobby with a smile and gave us a welcome feeling. Jennifer Lewis was our Customer Care Specialist and always went above and beyond to make sure every step was moving forward. Her care for all was observed and we appreciated it very much ourselves. George Matt is was our Business Manger and gave us the best deal anyone could ever imagine. Our Benefits Coordinator Ashley Riley helped us greatly with extras like free camping for the next 13 months, she was very nice. Nicole Lipsey was so cool as our Insurance Agent and got us an unbelievable deal for our Travel Trailer giving us the assurance that we are covered. Pedro Irigoyen was our Walk Through specialist that we video recorded every little detail about our Travel Trailer we would ever need to know. And last but not least was the man the insured EVERY little detail was met beyond our expectations was Andy Woods. Hats off to the GREATEST TEAM we have ever encountered and are greatful for this expert team of professionals. It made our new life adventure start out with a great beginning. Tim and I are more than greatful and can never thank you so much

The Crown Club service staff is excellent starting with Precious scheduling your service appointments. She understands your service needs and identifies items that need immediate attention. Precious is always pleasant and makes you feel like a valued customer. Our 2018 Tiffin Allegro Red has been serviced 3 times for minor warranty items. Charles Woods, Crown Club Advisor, is very professional, follows-up regarding the status of your service items and provides excellent customer service. The service technicians (cabinets, windows, installation of Blue OX toad system) are awesome. They provide quality work, remove their shoes inside your motorhome and take pride in their work. Highly recommend Lazydays RV of Tampa

After the deal was made, we were treated like tras...

After the deal was made, we were treated like trash. My husband and I are wintering in Florida, escaping from the Minnesota cold. We have been dreaming of buying an RV for a long time. Yesterday that dream almost came true. We put money down on a wonderful Synergy. There were some problems that needed to be resolved, but they were minor. Our salesman did not even have the courtesy to congratulate us, say good buy or check on our progress, etc. We were left to fend for our selves. When we got back to the condo, we researched diesel gas engines, biodiesel, where to get the Mercedes engine serviced, etc, in Minnesota and discovered it is not as easy as we thought. We decided that maybe we jumped the gun, and decided to not get the RV. We went back as soon as Lazydays opened, so they could put the vehicle back on the market.
Our sales person was mad at us. Called us liars, and left us to sit in the lobby for 40 minutes. It was not until I went looking for him in his office, that I discovered he supposedly processed the refund immediately. We had been sitting wasting our time for nothing. When I asked for a receipt, he said he doesn't do receipts. Needless to say, we went to the sells manager. He seemed to defend the sales person, though did process the refund,( after asking for our credit card, which our salesperson did not ask for, so he lied), and presented us with a receipt. We will never do business with lazydays. Once the deal was made, we were treated like trash.

Awesome experience at Lazydays Tampa Sales and Delivery! I came from a service industry - beverage. I compare Lazydays to Publix Supermarkets where employees openly seem to enjoy where they work. They work cohesively, They are a team. They make customers feel appreciated. They always are customer first. Anthony Smith our Sales Representative convinced us that Lazydays was where we should purchase our Tiffin coach. Dana Smith, our Delivery Advisor made it all happen. Great experience! We look forward to a long relationship with Lazydays! Ralph Eckles

Over the years I have visited Lazy days for a multiple of service reasons. The first couple years dealing with Jimmy Assad was always a pleasant experience. As my coach aged and the Crown Club was not a service option any longer I had a number of service advisiors, some good ,some not so good. Recently I have experience with Ms Samantha Watson and I cannot be more happy with her service. She kept me informed every step of the way. Mike the tech repaired the service I required. and prior to picking up my coach Samantha explained the service I had done. Just a comment, most service repairs that I need occur while I'm on the road and if I can wait I always take it back to Lazy days then I put it away until the next trip. Needless to say with a 90 day warranty on service normally runs out before I use the coach again. It would be nice, if possible to add a mileage warranty to the service warranty for people like myself who may not use the coach for months after repairs. Any future service I require I will ask for Samantha Watson, I truly believe she makes an effort to provide the best service, a service advisior can provide

This place is great! We brought six kids and they had a blast. Only two complaints are the hot tub wasn't warm and on the last day it broke. But the pool was a hit with the kids and the staff was friendly and helpful. They accommodated us for an extra day stay at the last minute. There is a lot to do for kids as wel . They have tennis courts, screened in pool and hot tub, clubhouse with lots of games, pool, ping-pong, etc. Busch Gardens is only about 20 minutes away.

We bought our first Class A recently. We made several trips there to look at all the units. When we found one that we liked our salesmen Bob & George went above and beyond to take care of us through the whole process. Everyone from the sales team, finance team to the insurance folks, were so pleasant. We would defiantly recommend Lazydays for any of your RV needs. Great experience all around!!!

My wife and I recently purchased our 6th motor home through Lazy Days in Tampa, FL. We have been purchasing RV's through them since 2002, starting with an American Coach, which was a Crown Club unit. We continued to go bigger and better through the years. We have been contemplating downsizing as we have homes in the North and South, have traveled 48 states and no longer spend months traveling. We met with Lazy Days sales consultant Maurice Summers. He made this process so comfortable, without the usual pressure, that we thoroughly enjoyed the process. In fact we can honestly say that dealing with Maurice was the most pleasant experience we ever had at Lazy Days. He is a true credit to their organization. He is thoughtful, courteous and FOLLOWS THROUGH even after the sale. Very refreshing. We can honestly refer anyone looking for an RV to visit Mr. Summers for fair and honest representation.

I want to say that Clay Rush is hands down the most AMAZING sales associate EVER! If I could give him 100,000 stars I would. He was so patient, he listened to every word and worked so hard to make it all happen. We can't thank him enough. He had a new employee shadow him today, his name was Quentin. If Quentin learns from Clay, he will be a very successful sales associate. Thank you Clay, for making our day! *****************************

Super great location. Had the pleasure of visiting this location on a class trip while at RV technician school. This experience was great, every section of this RV City was organized and served a great purpose, everything from the cleaning of the RV's to the mechanical portion. Parking was very spacious, employees very helpful and knowledgeable, and safety is always paramount. Bathrooms are sort of hard to find while walking the yard though, other than that, A+. ..... Thank you, I was trying to become part of the team but i guess the photography/cinematography/drone pilot slot was already taken up by a big company

Thank you Phil and Nicole for your fantastic customer service and going out of our way to give us such a great deal. We purchased a 2013 Class A Georgetown 335 DDS. Phil went out of his way to make sure that we were happy with our purchase and did a phenomenal job. He is one of the best salespeople I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. We purchased the RV 8 months ago and it's still in fantastic condition and everything works great. Just for fun, my wife and I have been looking to see if we could find the same RV we purchased for a lower price and we have not even come close. We have been to every dealership in the central Florida area and lazy days had the best customer service, best deal, and the nicest salespeople by far. Thank you again for a wonderful purchase and buying experience!

Top notch! My whole experience in purchasing my new motorhome was excellent. My salesman, Tracy Elliot (Bama) was so helpful in finding just the RV I wanted. No high pressure sales, just a very comfortable experience. When I returned to take delivery, I felt like every person I encountered with Lazy Days made me feel like they were there to serve me and make my purchase pleasant. They had classes to learn about driving the RV and seminars on different aspects of camping. When I was greeted each time with "Welcome to Lazy Days", I was really made to feel welcomed.

We bought our RV there 2 weeks and 1 day ago. The sales girl (Rebecca) was on the phone with me when I was looking at it. She's in the internet department so her office was down the street. She had me looking for water damage all throughout the rig. Walking on floors for soft spots, looking at panels, the whole thing. I asked her why and she said she was just asking. I found it odd because after looking at several rigs throughout the week, she never asked me those questions before. But, she swore that the RV was in good shape. Fast forward to after we bought it. Within the first 2 weeks a pipe in our bathroom busted. I text my sales people (Rebecca) who never responded or acknowledged the text and Alec (who told me to talk to a manager). We decided to fix it ourselves. Well, a few days later, the lights in the ceiling and the AC are leaking during a rain. I call a manager named Joe, and am explaining my situation. A few minutes into the call he tells me not to get "huffy". And "bring it in". I asked when (because every time I've been there I've never left before spending at least 6 hours). He refused to give a time. Well, what a class act!! Don't shop here. Do. Not. Shop. Here.

Unless you are going to buy a 200 thousand dollar ...

Unless you are going to buy a 200 thousand dollar rv I feel you are going to be spending that on just the maintenance of a fifth whell or travel trailer . We were in the process of jumping in to the rv experience but after doing thorough research the unfortunate fact is that the travel trailers are cheaply made and it takes preventative measures to ensure the trailer is kept in shape ie Eco Pro annual roof maintenance just to name a few. The particular WildCat we were about to hand over 47000 dollars for looked as if was glued together, "in fact it was". Also I think the model we wanted was used as a demo, the a.c. had appeared to been in use for a extended length of time being the drip/condensation trail was obvious and it had water in the tanks. We were advised that if we were not going to buy it allow someone else to buy it. I'm sure it is still sitting on the lot as it appears it has been for a extended length of time. Due to Personal matters we were not able to take possession for 4 months so I contacted Airstream to order a fresh model that will take the same length of time . We had misgivings once we moved to North Florida we noticed so many travel trailers and fifth whell travel trailers bleached out by the sun rotting on the sides of most people's homes or simply abandoned . Travel trailers prices are based on what is inside of them other than it being on a Z Frame or if it has independent suspension. The shower walls were extremely flimsy as well, higher end modles have a single insert. I questioned that fact and the salesman suggested not to take steamy showers Lol .We moved to North Florida for the sole purpose of acquiring a rv. Be wise and research what you may purchase and not just take the person's word that is trying to sale it to you. And yes the slide outs are known to leak over time. Airstream puts their trailers through a soaking process to find any leaks if any. I hope my review doesn't rub any one the wrong way, I'm only stating what is factual. The staff at Lazy Days was very kind in helping us with no pressure. If you are a thorough person whom looks to the far future of your investment as I have be wise about what you may purchase. It may cost you more money initially but who has 50 grand or more to hand over these days? The best thing I've heard from Lazy Days is the statement: We put our customers safety first and our promises second. And yes manufactures have a msrp and a dealers price , and the price the dealership is able to buy it for from the manufacturer. I was saddened to notice most of the people in the lobby were there waiting for some kind of maintenance being done on their RV . Its a luxury item that has its luxury cost . The unfortunate thing is most businesses lost their way and it's all about how much a business can get out of the customers pockets.

We had to trade our new camper from another dealership as it was to heavy for our truck, even though was told we could tow. Kevin Slane was our sales person at Lazydays. He was professional and knew what he was trying to sell us. We purchased a 5th wheel that was designed for a half ton pickup. We had Christine Kovacs and Mike Herndon as our delivery advisors. They both went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience and to make sure we were shown how to operate everything. We would highly recommend Lazydays RV.
Thank you.

Our search for a new RV started about 3 months ago...

Our search for a new RV started about 3 months ago and included trips to Myrtle Beach, Jacksonville and Orlando. We discovered Lazydays while conducting online searches for RVs, and requested pricing and details on a variety of units...Angie Bostick was awesome in getting back to us with the info and went above and beyond to make sure our questions were answered. Eventually we made the trip down to Tampa from Savannah GA, and waiting for us at the front door was Spencer Julius, he is an awesome salesmen. He asked the right questions regarding what we were looking for, how often we would use it and then found a few models for us to look at...funny, we looked at numerous units, but it was the first one he took us to see that ended up being the best fit for us....he had listened!! The entire visit was very stress free, even when the "sales manager" Joe came into the final sales negotiations....low stress and we think we got an awesome deal! We had to return for the delivery the next Sat, and again we where met at the door, this time by JP Panagoulis, the Delivery Advisor. Through out the day we walked thru every detail of our new RV with Pedro and JP, learning how to use the rig, and even how to hook it up to the new 5th wheel hitch.
If you are considering buying an RV, there is only one place where you can get this kind of service! Believe me, we walked many hours at other dealers, might be some as good as Lazydays, buy you wont find any that are better. First class all the way! Thanks to everyone who worked with us along the way.

After almost 2 years living full time in a Class A...

After almost 2 years living full time in a Class A, we bought a home and decided to trade the RV for a part time weekender Toy Hauler. Jeri at Lazydays was very informative and helped us out with our needs. She made sure we got the information that we needed and responded to phone calls and emails quickly. The day we arrived for our trade in, they had it all set up. They had us park our RV door to door to our Toy Hauler so that moving from one to another was easier. The whole process of checking in, orientation to the Toy hauler (Kathy was amazing), showing us how to hook up (Martin was great) and through finance (Jason was thorough) was seemless. We stayed the night moving and getting to know our trailer.... They even offered to have us stay for the weekend. Everything was well coordinated. The only hiccup was that we had to go and search for someone to get our exit ticket and temporary tag.

Purchased a 2018 Lance 4 weeks ago--bought and paid for same day. Had advised the staff that I would be picking up in 2 weeks and noted the minor things that needed to be fixed prior to delivery.

Included in one of the items to be corrected was a broken electric stabilizer jack.

2 weeks later we showed up to take delivery. It took approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes after walking in and telling the front desk we're here to take delivery before we actually got to our travel trailer. We sat and waited, and waited with our 4 month our little one.

Finally we arrive at our unit, nice red bows on it and as the instructor was showing us the ins and outs with the unit, the very first thing noticed was a gob of wires dangling inches from the ground--it was the wiring for the stabilizer jacks.

Then as we move forward I notice the outside of the coach had some foreign stick material stuck to the outside, where as if they washed it, should of be noticed then. Next I look up and see rust all over the outside TV antenna in plain site.

Then we move forward to one of the storage bins on the outside slide out and see two covers are laying on the floor for to cover the screws.

Now we move on to the front pull through storage bin and a access cover and four screws are on the floor. We move on to the inside and it wasn't vacuumed out.

There were a couple of more things, but first impression was terrible, bowtie on a turd. Yes they did correct what they could while on site, but seriously anybody that cared would have noticed and corrected this before presenting. It should have never came to this.

Ever walk in to a house and the first thing someone says, oh we just moved in, or my wife........we been busy and the place is a mess? Thats the impression we got when taken delivery of our travel trailer.

I feel that Lazy Days is a big place, the Wal-Mart of RV's, but I wonder if they are just too big for their britches.

Possibly a smaller dealer with values would have been better.

note: been 4 weeks exactly and I still don't have my license plate.

I purchased a 2006 Damon Daybreak in October of 2017. I left the dealership after spending 2 Days getting safety issues fixed. I financed this RV through their finance department and had the name of the bank that held the note and date of first payment . I waited to receive paperwork from the bank and began calling them only to be told they did not have an account with my name on it. I called Lazydays only to receive a call from them stating that the original paperwork was mishandled. I received new paperwork in a fedex pouch signed and sent back to them delaying the first payment by a month. I live in AZ and was 1st given 30 temp tags for FL and I waited again for what I expected to be permanent AZ tags which never came. I again called Lazydays and spoke with a very confused lady who stated she was somewhat confused over handling an out of state title. I waited and a week went by when I received 90 day temp tags from AZ. I left a job early to return to AZ prior to the temp tags expiring went and had emissions test walked into motor vehicle presented my emission test and asked to get plates to be told we need the title. I called the bank and they didn t have the title. I then called Lazydays and talked to same lady and was told in no uncertain terms that she had sent everything to AZ motor vehicle department referenceing an address that I know was not the dmv. I contacted this company by looking their address up to find out it was a 3 d party who remembered the transaction and did issue the temp tags but received no other paperwork. They followed up with Lazydays and still have not received title so I can get plates. It seems no one wants to follow through on something so basic to the sale of a vehicle. I m still without plates and the second temporary tags I ve got are quickly approaching expiration. The bad part of this whole fiasco is the time spent running around and calling with no resolution. I will keep trying to find someone who cares at Lazydays.

Just purchased a pop up camper and could not be happier with it and the experience I had at Lazy Days Tampa. Lynn my sales guy was super friendly and knowledgeable, he was even able to negotiate the price down even more with his managers than I was. Tony the delivery manager was also great and was able to fix any issues that I had with the camper within an hour. My service tech Rodney was also super helpful in making adjustments that had to be made. What impressed me the most was how caring they were even on a small purchase like a pop up camper, I felt like I was treated as if I bought a million dollar coach. I would highly recommend Lazy Days Tampa !!!! Keep up the good work !!!!

I really love to compliment when service is great, but it unfortunately is not the case with Lazydays for me. Over the past nine months, we have been there 5 times. We knew we were going to purchase our 5th wheel by June of 2018. We have been completely honest about this. But as soon as we have become honest, whatever sales person we had been talking to would rush us out so he could get to the next sale. We actually made sure we were getting a different person every time to see if we would be treated differently and with a little bit of respect, and to have someone whom would want to build a relationship with us. They do have a ton of inventory. That's why they get two stars from me, but we ended up going to Camping World.... where they have the exact same 5th wheel as Lazydays that we have decided to purchase, for $20,000 less. Yes, $20,000 less. Exact same 5th wheel.... Sorry Lazydays, you would have had my business, but I gave way to many chances for your sales people to even be nice.

We have had a great experience purchasing our new Montana 5th wheel from Lazydays. I would like to recognize a few people which we feel went above and beyond in customer service. Dan Potter our sale person never pressured us and took all the time needed to answer questions and show us lots of options. We feel Dan would be a great asset to anyone looking to buy or just to look. Also, Mark Cohen did a great job helping us. One of the great qualities was the number of employed military veterans at the Tampa location. I support any company which supports our veterans!!!

That's great ! Very good staff, great location, water, coffee, all kinds of lemonades for free. Huge selection of motorhome and trailers. Take your old trailer ore motorhome at a bargain price. They promised to give us 2 thousand more than we wanted)))). And the cost that we want to buy Very good . They will check all and clean and repair everything that is broken. Full inspection and repair! After , you can live for three days at their campsite and check the work of all the equipment. If something is wrong you will replace everything. Bonus! What is about 300 days free stay in campgrounds USA! And this is usually $ 50 a day! We are taking our motorhome next week. I'll write how it all went.

! , , . . . 2 )))) . 3000 . . ! . . ! 300 ! 50$ ! . .

Abysmal. Dropped of our RV to the service department, and discussed our needs with the service advisor(Darnell). Three weeks later not even a phone call to give us a status update. I call in and they tell me it s done. Would have been nice to get a call letting me know. So I drive across town to pick it up. We get there and they now tell us that they didn t even address the main reason we brought it in. Complete waste of time and money. Never again...I used Camping World for service previously and have always had a good experience. Looks like I m going back to Camping World.
