Kelly was very easy to work with didn't feel like I was dealing with the dreaded car sales person!
When I got home my 2018 vehicle that had 20,000 miles on it was leaking oil!
They called me first thing towed my car in and it was just the washer on the oil pan plug! Easy fix and Tim the service manager put the gas back in that I used to get back home! Great service!

I was mislead and taken advantage by Kira the sale...

I was mislead and taken advantage by Kira the salesman and Mario in financing while purchasing my first vehicle. I wish I had someone to go with me to help me through the process and to ask the necessary questions that have left me in a bad contract with 2010 vehicle that has too many miles (116,XXX ) and paying a total of $19,910. The contract doesn t have the correct miles ( 49,889) and the color of the vehicle is wrong when I called to correct it since I have warranty through Wynn s Plus ( which none of this was gone over with me in addition to the $1,500 warranty an additional $500 to Lawrence Kia not sure what for again none of this was gone over ) they said they couldn t fix the contract.......... so the warranty says I have 24/m or 24,000 miles all based around 49,889 miles and not the actual mileage 115178 ( at time of purchase).... I ve called and called and Kira is no help she does nothing more then pick a vehicle and Mario seems to never be at his desk, I love out of town so it s not as simple as driving right up there to inquire about my vehicle and contract and all the details that should have been gone over when and before I purchased the vehicle. However I was told that after 14 days it s too late and there s nothing I can do but pay off a high mileages over priced vehicle. I ve learned and still am learning how to buy my 2 vehicle ( no time soon) and the necessary questions to ask and proper steps to take before jumping into a bad contract. I wanna thank Lawrence Kia for that.

Took my KIA Sportage in today for an oil change...this was the first since I bought it. I didn't make an appointment because I thought it was one of those quick lane things. Since they can be super busy I would highly suggest an appointment. Scott Essex got me hooked up anyway. I think I challenged him a little and caused some extra work...I had a $20 coupon for logging into Yelp while I waited...we laughed! Scott was a pleasure and their service department was awesome! Check them out!

This dealer is the worst kind of a car dealer ship...

This dealer is the worst kind of a car dealer ships, I ever had the pleasure to deal with. I would not even refer him to my enemy. There are scam artist of the worst kind. They like to prey on first time car buyers and young inexperience buyers. We went there on a Saturday to buy a used car. After a lot of dancing around the price and the other entire well-known sales tactic, we finally had the loan payment, the way we needed it. We wasted 3 hours there. We sign the contract, but decided to drive the car of the lot on Monday, because my child needed insurance first. Came in on Monday to get the car and the contract was changed. The payment and interest rate was higher, than agreed and sign on Sunday. Again, the Sales clerk was trying to dance around the issue and trying to convince us that this was the best deal in town. We walked out and didn t buy the car. Later we found out, the Kelly blue book retail value for this car was $ 4000.00 less than it was offered to us. We should have walked away from this dealer, the moment we notice, none of the cars had sale prices visible marked. My advice to anyone in the business to buy a car run from this one. They are crooks of the worst kind.

Lawrence Kia did a great job for me on a recall item and regular service. Will was particularly helpful in explaining to me what would need to be addressed in the future, with regards to service of my Optima. The crew worked fast and I was in and out in no time. Thank you Lawrence Kia!!!!!

I leased a Kia Forte for the last three years and absolutely loved the car and how easy the process was. My three year lease was ending so we came back to trade in vehicles. Nick Williams was incredible! He was very helpful and worked through every situation that we asked about to help me find the perfect fit! Not only was he helpful with the car situation but very easy to talk to and made us feel right at home! We would recommend him and Kia to everyone!

We were very close to finish a deal with the agent...

We were very close to finish a deal with the agent that we were negotiating with, while another guy just jumped into our conversation and made our deal not to happen. I do not know what was wrong with him. The agent himself was a patient, super nice guy but we were offended by the way the other guy treated the deal which was almost done. I was told that people at this dealership are professional but I am totally disappointed today.

Nick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in assisting us in making a car purchase! We came with so many questions about the Acura and he did not hesitate to answer every question. Nick was very personable and friendly. He immediately made us feel comfortable and connected! Trust is really important to me, ESPECIALLY when making a big purchase like this. Nick was easy to trust because he was forthright and honest in the information he gave us. He worked with us to get a price we could afford and ran back and forth until we were satisfied. Don t waste your time here! They certainly wasted mine. The worst customer service. We had an appointment wanting to buy two cars. They were 30 min late for our appointment. When Tyrone was finally ready, he kept helping other customers making us wait for simple things like unlocking a car to see inside. We felt like his last priority. We were so frustrated we left and gave Shawnee Mission Kia our business instead.

My boyfriend and I came here to buy our first car from a dealership together. We already had a couple cars in mind, and had done a virtual tour on them before hand. We had a scheduled appointment and came in 30 minutes early only to be told that the two people I had been talking to before hand were not there. Instead we were buying our with Nick. Nick first collected all our information and ran it through the bank to see what the monthly payments and interest rate would be on the car we were wanting. After about two hours, he just told us that it was "not in our price range" and never told us any of the numbers. Okay, so then he gave us 3 cars that would be. He pulled up one of the cars and took us outside to show us it. We weren't happiest with it... but we ended up buying it because he never showed us the other two cars, and he kept telling us "this is the only thing you can get right now with your budget".
The car is rusting, and very dinged up. It also does not have a warranty, and he way overcharged us for it. I'm giving this review 2 stars because this whole visit was a very stressful time, and I felt like he didn't want to work with us. He also did not give us accurate prices on the car, monthly payments, or interest rates.

My experience today at Lawrence Kia has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. Chris Winans is amazing. He was to the point, listened to my needs and held the bs. He got me in a much lower payment than I excepted and as I was dealing with a personal matter while there he was understanding and literally put me in tears (in a good way) without being pushy. I was also in and out in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Lawrence Kia but even more so, don t forgot to ask for Chris Winans, you won t regret it!!

Horrible. Purchased a 2005 Nissan Frontier from them and in the month I've owned it, it's been in the shop more times than not. Avoid this dealership like the plague. The "inspection" they do is totally bogus and was told by another mechanic that these issues should have been very noticeable and should have been handled before the sale was complete. Why wouldn't I use their service shop? Because a good portion of the time it's been in the shop, it was because of their own doing. Kia just wants your money. Save your money and go somewhere else.

If I could give Lawrence Kia 10 stars I would. We bought a used vehicle from them a few weeks ago that only came with a 30 day engine and power train warranty. About 2 weeks after we bought the vehicle, the power steering went out. Under no obligation, Lawrence Kia had us bring the car in and they replaced the power steering pump and the rack and pinion AT NO COST TO ME!!! Way above and beyond what I expected. Our salesman was fantastic and their finance team worked with us to get the best deal possible. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. Well done Lawrence Kia and THANK YOU!!

Nick was super nice and very professional. He explained the dealership s warranty I m detail and answered every question we had. We had a great test drive and enjoyed visiting with him. He had great customer service and made the whole experience enjoyable and as streamlined as possible. Would definitely recommend Nick and Kia of Lawrence to anyone looking for a vehicle!

Horrible. Typical car sales experience. Wasting your time after a long drive. Sales rep lured us in with assurances over the phone. Vehicle was sold before we even drove it. Perhaps we want to buy something else on the lot? The typical sleezy greasy car salesmen game. Their mothers would be devastated if the knew how there sons operated. Also, surprise $399 dollar paperwork fee, which is twice that of any other car dealership (typically $199 max and usually they will wave it if you ask). Finally, Lawrence KS has the HIGHEST sales tax rate that I coukd find at 9.3%. That means you pay $550 more in tax (or more) on a $28K transaction versus buying in Kansas City. All around, don t get caught buying from this sneaky circus.

Absolute liars! Leslie lied, she pretty much guaranteed me what I was looking for and delivered on nothing! Still considered buying a different vehicle that i was qualified for, got lied to over the phone by one of the employees there covering for Destiny whom I'd been working with. Told me he'd sell me the middle packaged 2018 kia forte for 1000 down. Get there they bring me base model. Ask the guy whose offering base model, what about what I was told over the phone? Can't help you, need more money down. He couldn't care less what I was told. Complete waste of time!!

This was my first experience buying a car. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly throughout the process! I was a little disappointed though after I took the car home, I noticed that the back seat had some stains and the cup holders were sticky. I was able to easily clean it all and get the stains out but that seems like something the dealership should ve been able to do beforehand. The car also didn t come with floor mats which also seems like something the dealership could ve easily fixed. Overall the dealership was easy to work with though.

My engine was compromised during a repair. KIA service center took it to Honda to have the factory engine "overhauled". I was without a car for three weeks. I was not offered a warranty for the work and I was being charged more than the normal amount for the original, ordered repair. I was treated very poorly by Scott Duroe and Duane Roberts. I was in fact verbally abused and assaulted by Mr. Roberts not too mention defamed and personally attacked with false accusations. Chin Rajapaksha was able to remedy the situation and I was not charged and I was given an alleged warranty by Honda although I have no paperwork to back this up. I was without a car for nearly one month for what should have been a one day repair! I didn't get an apology from the minority owner nor service director that attacked me. I was "begged" by Mr. Rajapaksha to give them another chance. Today when my son attempted to get a brake job at the KIA service center I was called by the same Mr. Rajapaksha and told they didn't want to do business with me! WOW pretty much sums this craziness up. NO WAY, NO WAY I will ever do business there again. I will be sharing this story in detail with any and everyone. I would encourage you to find an alternative KIA dealership and service center. This place supports abusive behavior and kicks long term, good paying customers to the curb!

Maybe Kia has gotten some bad press lately with sales tactics, but I've had nothing but excellent service from Darren and the mechanics in the service department since I bought my vehicle in 2012. Have never had any major issues with my Sorento other than an airbag recall, but last week at almost 97,000 miles, my engine needed to be replaced. Darren sent me straight to Avis for a complementary rental and I had a new engine 4 business days later. It was all covered at no charge under Kia's great warranty.

Purchased a 2017 Kia Optima last year and had a good experience, so we went back this year to purchase a Sorento. My wife and I test drove a couple and found one we liked (2018 sorento). After we signed papers and started to drive away we noticed a chip with small cracks in the windshield called dealership and they told us to bring it back and they would look at it. We took it back in and wasn t able to get it fixed the service department said it was repaired before and the pit fell out of the chip. I was able to speak with Logan Martin about the situation and we will be able to get the windshield replaced without cost. Very pleased they were able to take care of the damage for us. We have been happy with both the optima and sorento purchased from Lawrence Kia.

OK they responded that " Our records show Mr.Bahman purchased a vehicle late 2015. THIS is LIE , THERE IS NO Mr.Bahman . I Just created this profile because my warranty with them still is valid. So There is no such a IMAGINARY purchaser and it showed me that you used even lie to keep your rating high.
You can be legally sued for publishing lie to cheat potential customers. This is lie to all customers. If you are honest publish your record. Probably they would say this is confidential. I wish I could rate you -5 . Respect your customers.

My family and I were looking to buy a 9,800 ford focus. When we finally go to the part where we were going to make an offer they said with was close 13,000. we negotiated down, but the process was awful, they were deceiving and we felt like we were being cheated. Multiple counter offers they made did not add up correctly and when I called them out on it they came up with some excuse to make it see like we did not give them the right information. Our sales guy Ken was fantastic, it was the rest of the company what we did not like, we were 300 dollars away from making a deal and they would not negotiate. the sales people would get our hopes up by saying what if it was this would we say yes? and we told them yes we would, but then they would come back and say sorry we are not going down at all. needless to say we did not purchase a car from here and I would not recommend anyone else buy a care here either.
They will try to sell you on there life time warranty and say they are the only one who offers this, but actually most dealers will offer this warranty as well. And they will act like they never do anything wrong, we were willing to pay a full cash offer. they are jerks who act all nice until they figure out that you are someone who does not like being cheated. I am editing this post because i just read there response, I can do simple math, it was the fact that you guys couldn't, one of your sales reps even agreed with me that they weren't sure how you got that number. I am glad I never bought a car from here, best decision I made. terrible customer service.

Matt U is great! Before I had even had a chance to make it to the dealership, I had received multiple emails of 15+ vehicles based on the specifications I was looking for. He did a fabulous job providing me with all of the information I needed as well as answering all of my questions. I have been here twice now to look at cars & have even been on a test drive. He has thoroughly gone over every detail of the model that I m interested in as well as the different package options. I m still making my decision on a vehicle choice, but even if I don t choose Kia, I wanted Matt to get the recognition he deserves! He is the only sales representative that has spoken with me and not at me. I also feel no pressure at all about buying a vehicle with I appreciate so much as that kind of aggressiveness has turned me off from other dealerships in the past. I live in Overland Park and still make the drive to Lawrence instead of a local dealer simply to work with Matt. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new car goes to him!
