Lauberge casino and resort Review

Lauberge has been there for a little while, they have always had excellent customer service and they maintain their entire indoor and outdoor grounds to impress. If I had one complaint it'd definitely be the smoke smell in and around the casino area. I'm not sure what they could do to fix it other than remove carpet and improve smoke ventilation, I understand why they want to keep it, to keep smokers from leaving the table to smoke to continue to drain them. But I can't even eat at the restaurants near the casino entrance!

Won 700 bucks here! Was surprisingly nice until they shut down bar at 11pm on the weekend!!??
Louisiana has current law curfew for 11pm for alcohol.. kind of weird..next time byob.. that was a bummer for me and my crew. Overall, nice ppl & Place...

They are giving away a truck with 750 horsepower on July 3rd.

Easy access from the boardwalk and plenty of parking, this hotel/casino was great. There is lots of restaurants and shopping. The whole area is well maintained.

On our way back home from vacationing in Texas we decided to stop at a casino along the way back to Florida. First we stopped at the Golden Nugget because of our past experience in Vegas. When we arrived we were informed that there was no room for our RV (we even called first and they said no problem just check in with security and let them know). When we went to security officers they said no Rv parking Friday Saturday or Sunday. We explained that we called ahead of time before coming and were told differently. They didn't care at all so we left spending nothing...

We proceeded to L'Auberge. They didn't mind our RV at all. They just told us where to park and we were good to play. Wow what a Great GREAT time we had. The buffet was delicious (thank you Grace for your warm smile and keeping our drink cups full) the gaming (slots) were ok, But the craps table was amazing. The staff was incredible. Our drinks were always coming, the pit boss (John), Charles, and Joseph were fantastic!!! We played all night made some money and decided to stay at the hotel instead of our RV. The hotel room was spotless, and very comfortable.
Thank you all for everything!!!! We definitely will be back next time we are traveling down I-10. Thanks for making us feel at home

They do not give any rooms to me so I go to the other casinos.

The drinks by the casino were nice, sadly the pool closed at 8 so i couldnt go for a night swim

Room rates were not bad at all, cocktail waitresses in the casino are terrible and rude, if you are not happy their then dont work there. All your customers arent the same so maybe you shouldn't treat them that way

This hotel turned out to be great than I thought. Nice room : fluffy bed/pillow/comforter and clean. Free internet. The lazy river was open but too cold for December, but there was a heated pool. The gym was acceptable. Staff were very courteous. There's a trolley every 15 mins to golden nuggets or you can walk. I would stay there again if visit lake Charles again.

Bed bugs! I stay there for a night and notice skin rash the next days. Hotel was not helpful with my complain, wanted me to return to Lake Charles and file a report.

Absolutely had a great time this past weekend. All the staff was super friendly. I may not have won big but our time there was better than enjoyable!

Exellent clean environment i highly recommend this casino the ribs at Jack Daniel's bar and grill are delicious and the buffet is the best from all the Casinos in lake Charles Louisiana area

Food is very over priced. Bed is uncomfortable. Staff isn't very helpful.
We ate at the southern kitchen place inside for breakfast. Took 5 minutes for anyone to bring us menus or water AND I had to ask a busser to get our waitress. $3 for a cup of coffee that I never got a refill on. $7 for 3 strips of really greasy bacon. My French toast did not taste like they cooked it...
Had a similar experience as the Jack Daniels grill. I asked for the sourdough bun instead of the brioche bun and was guaranteed by my waitress that I would get the sourdough bun. She didn't know the difference between the two and I ended up with a brioche bun. But since she disappeared for the next 20 minutes i just ate it. She also didn't know the difference between beef and pork ribs.
We previously had very friendly and sociable dealers but that wasn't the case this time. The "dealer" at the roulette wheel had 0 personality and was rather rude with his broken English. We decided to come back hours later to a different dealer but even those were robotic and mute.
Our King suite was VERY HUMID and musty. The are no fans in the restroom! Also no tub. Just a stand up coffin shower. No fridge. No mini bar.
We had to sign a waiver just to go to the pool in case someone slipped.
We like going for the casino but this last experience was very lackluster. I'll be trying the Golden Nugget on my next visit to Lake Charles.

Had a great time Dec 25-Dec 29. Even hit a $2000. jackpot. Thanks for everything.

I come here a few times a year for the holidays and everything is good. Nice clean rooms, nice staff, and service.

Spa Du Lac Millie is my favorite hairdresser. She is talented, knowledgeable, and honest when I ask advice about options with my hair. She is exceptionally great at time management and a great conversationalist. I highly recommend Millie Lewis to anyone seeking to receive a true professional experience at their salon.

Buffet did not have King crab yesterday. Instead it only had snow crab and crawfish. Service was great during dinner. Always got what we needed on time and came by often.

Had a great time on there dime, stayed and saw Ron White compliments of the LAuberge. We had a great weekend they did get a little of my money but worth the fun we had will be back soon!

Horrible service I agree with many of the reviews. I came here for my 21st birthday thinking i was going to have a great time, and i was until we received the worst service from a bartender. We had been playing for atleast 5 hours tipping every bartender at least $10 for every round. Until we got to one of the last sections of the casino. As we were walking to that secetion to play the slot machine we wanted to we poliletly asked one of the bartender for drinks. Her response " yall have to be playing to get drinks" with a big smirk on her face. As we got to the slot machine we asked for drinks we had been getting at every other section of the casino. She said some of the drinks were not available once again with a rude attitude and her smirk. We then told her we didnt want anything from her because of her attitude. Then she came back as she was walking away and gets in my friends face and tell asked if she had anything to say. We felt sooooo disrespected after playing for 6 hours dropping lots of money. We called the manager and absolutely NOTHING was done. He said that was her area and he could not move her, he offered to get us our drinks and never came back. I thought this was going to be a great experience but turned into a disappointing 21st birthday. We wont be coming back, if you want terrible service i suggest to come to L'abergue.

Went for my Husbands birthday weekend. Very nice, gave us a free cupcake. Really grand and beautiful.

Great stay! Rooms clean relaxing roomy. The pool great fun, beach area clean & beautiful.
