Food is very over priced. Bed is uncomfortable. Staff isn't very helpful.
We ate at the southern kitchen place inside for breakfast. Took 5 minutes for anyone to bring us menus or water AND I had to ask a busser to get our waitress. $3 for a cup of coffee that I never got a refill on. $7 for 3 strips of really greasy bacon. My French toast did not taste like they cooked it...
Had a similar experience as the Jack Daniels grill. I asked for the sourdough bun instead of the brioche bun and was guaranteed by my waitress that I would get the sourdough bun. She didn't know the difference between the two and I ended up with a brioche bun. But since she disappeared for the next 20 minutes i just ate it. She also didn't know the difference between beef and pork ribs.
We previously had very friendly and sociable dealers but that wasn't the case this time. The "dealer" at the roulette wheel had 0 personality and was rather rude with his broken English. We decided to come back hours later to a different dealer but even those were robotic and mute.
Our King suite was VERY HUMID and musty. The are no fans in the restroom! Also no tub. Just a stand up coffin shower. No fridge. No mini bar.
We had to sign a waiver just to go to the pool in case someone slipped.
We like going for the casino but this last experience was very lackluster. I'll be trying the Golden Nugget on my next visit to Lake Charles.
