In 7 day tour they nly hav sight seeing for 4 days rest 3 days is just accommodation and getting bugged in the bus !! And that too accommodation is in such a way that u vl always get a room which is unwanted by every1 in a corner which vl be the cheapest room ! I give it a zero star and wont ever recommend it to any1
I took a 2 day tour to Yosemite and Sequoia Park. It was the worse experince ever: we spent the days on the bus, few stops in the parks of only half an hour (shameful). The guide was having an Asian accent and not always clear. In the hotel were we stayed I got bed bugs. Requested a refund for the inconvenience with pictures to prove it and they denied it with a document stating there were no bugs (after 2 weeks of the accident...of course there were nine after they cleaned the room).

We had taken San Francisco to Los Angeles 4 days tour from Lassen tours and it was nicely managed and guided.
One of their bus drivers stopped at a stop light taking up the entire area of the cross walk, endangering pedestrians by making them walk in traffic to cross the street.
Its very Bad experience I had. I don't think this people knows Human values.
Awful experience! I participated their Oregon, Crater Lake National Park three day tour. Every day, we spent 7 hours on the bus, but only got 2 stops with total of 2 hours to enjoy the view. It s entirely a waste of time! The surface of my brand new Samsite suitcase was totally ruined by the drivers careless push. But they declared that since my suitcase was not completely cracked, they would not compensate a cent at all.
It was horrible tour the guide didn't even speak proper English, he talked Chinese and a few words in English, the only thing he talked about in the tour was money and nothing more. He also made us tip him for nothing that he did and asked for more money then usual. In the tour we had only few stops (4/3 depends on the day) ech of them wasn't more then 15 minutes and we paid alot for this tour. If you're not Chinese people don't ever do it.
Horrible travel agency. Booked an Antelope Canyon tour three months in advance, only to be told that tickets were sold out the day before we were supposed to go. Very disorganized. Doesn't care about customers.
I called Lassen Tour to get help on a Chinese visa and they went out of their way to help me. The travel agent on phone was extremely helpful in explaining our specific issues, even though I had booked my trip through another company. Wish I had used them from the beginning.
Lassen tours are one of the horrible tour operators. Bad service and mostly cater to Chinese folks. The tour operators, bus Driver and guide are all chinese. Minimal respect to passengers, keep shifting passengers from bus to bus and waste all touring time. Skip places on Itinerary to make up time. Stops only at Chinese complexes for food, don't even provide water in bus. Tour operator Bruce - Chinese guy will dictate who should sit were and will not let use the bathroom in bus. He will change passenger seats as and when he feels like. I got a headache with his Chinese and English announcements one after the other. Very poor presentation skills and takes the mandatory tip before next days service. Please never book through - Take tours who put you through LASSEN Tours. My total $300 wasted on Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia national park tour from SFO.

Extremely rude operators. I was on time for the pick up in the morning and the guide is screaming early morning! Driver is extra rude and refused to open the bus door so you can sit inside while the others finish dinner.
The bus didn't pick us up that morning. Instead we were picked up by a nice guy in a van, driven one hour to SF to pick up another couple then driven to meet the bus in Oakland Chinatown. The lady tour guide checked us in without saying hello or introduced herself and the bus driver nicely so we could remember their names. You spent a lot of time on the bus and when the bus stopped we were rushed like schoolchildren on field trips. The tour guide didn't pronounce location names correctly and she treated us like we were all dumb. She was outright rude and mean sometimes, she must know most Asian customers rarely complain. On second day we had to rush through lunch to buy stuff for dinner because she told us there were no restaurants near our hotel that night. When we almost got there she told us there are actually some restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. The manager at the Days Inn in Klamath Falls were very nice at the breakfast buffet. On the way back to drop us off, the driver ran into some dangerous looking dead end corner where some homeless guys could have thrown things at our bus. This trip was more suitable for people who speak little English and have little knowledge of the US. We had been on other tours before and know the differences. We are not dumb but we gave the guide tips anyway because we are decent people while she asked for tips without showing grace or gratitude.
1 day tours are not that great as explanations were minimal. Great places during the tour though.
Tours4fun = Tours4scam. Stay away, the cheap prices are not worth it if your holidays get ruined.

Dont go on the bus if you want to live. don't go on the lassen bus in san Francisco bus number 56147 the driver is driving 80miles in the fast lane , over taking cars, trucks and swerving left and right.

PART 2 of previous review
The 3d day we chosen the South Rim, so it took 4 hours (in one side) to ride there from Las Vegas. Hoover Dam we haven t seen as Tour Guide said that we don t have time and possibility to stay there we are in hurry to South Rim. The Grand Canyon was really amazing place to visit, but as usual we had only 1 hour to spent there and took photos. Also we had 1 hour to eat the lunch in a small visitor centre of National Geographic. That day we also stayed in Las Vegas. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is no hot tea in Las Vegas and our guide Jack said that we could buy hot water (!!) for 1$ in Starbucks.
The 4th day the meeting with guide and departure from hotel was at 6:30 a.m.(!!!!), so check out you would need to do earlier. We felt like soldiers in the Chinese army with our luggage at 6:30 a.m. because other people were also all ready, waiting near the bus with luggage. We were moving by a small bus to Los Angeles (4 hours ride) with a friend of me and all our Asian group decided to come back to San Francisco (12 hours ride by bus). I don t know why should we check out so early if we could have some rest and move to LA without stressful awakening in the early morning. Our guide Jack was deaf for any hard-hitting question and just gave us a big smile instead of answer. We were happy to arrive to LA Train station and escape from those incomprehensible Asian tourcompany and people.
I have participated in the 4days Death Valley, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon Tour and it was awesome. The tour guide, Mr Raymond Tse, was very accommodating and understanding and evaluated options on the tour for each individual. Definitely taking his duties to a higher level by giving a good preview and description on the places of interest.

Grand Canyon Circle tour from Las Vegas was a good value. The pace was quick but we covered a lot of ground. What really made the tour outstanding was our guide, Raymond. Very organized and well informed about the national parks he also kept a large group on time and on task. Raymond was helpful, friendly and very focused when it came to directions and information. Thanks, Raymond for giving us a great travel experience!

Your bus #56148 on 6/18/17 headed south on I - 5 is driving recklessly. Passing people unnecessarily and then slowing down for no apparent reason. Definitely recommending your tours to NOBODY!!!!!!
Garbage tour. Never recommend it if you are going to California. The tour guide brings us to dirty restaurants with foods that were eaten before.
Just saw a bus pass about 40 cars on the left on Hwy 46 then cut off a bunch more cars to make a right hand turn on Hwy 1. Bus number 56168. Hope all their drivers don t drive like that.
I would like to say thanks to these guys , because the tour was AWESOME! It was very well organized. The tour guides and driver's are very cool, friendly and knowledgeble . You get fair amount for the price you are paying . I highly recommend them !
We hat a great experience on our 7 day tour.
We did our tour from SFO to LA and then to LV. We had John, Bruce, Shawn and Mike as driver/tour guide. They all had exceptional people skills.
They were knowledgeable to give us historical background. All our journeys were restful and comfortable including our the hotels and restaurants we stayed/visited.
We are glad that we selected Lassen Tours inspite of all the negative comments.

They are abducted. 6 days of Huangshi travel, only half a day in Yellowstone Park, and the trip is very large, the tour guide also gives a variety of rubbish reasons to compress the trip lazy

Took the three day Crater Lake Tour. The tour was ok but poorly managed. The tour guide's was bilinguial but his english was poor. They manage to completely ruin my experience on the last day by changing their route to make the first stop to drop us off into the last stop without any notice. The most puzzling aspect of this change was that the first stop was right when you come back from North. But we had to go 80 miles south to San Jose and then come back all the way to El Cerrito to be dropped off. So we were on the bus for 6 hours without any bathroom or meal breaks waiting to be dropped off. The most dissappointing thing was that the tour guides did this for their own convenience (they were going home in San Jose). Good for them to go home early but let their customers suffer...
This is a Scam, Avoid it. They are trained to squeeze money from you in all possible ways.
The worst experience I've ever had with a tour company. I did the two day Yosemite tour and barely got to see the park. First of all, the tour guide, Mike, is a Chinese guy who can barely string together a sentance in English. He took us to literally 3 spots of the park and gave us 15 mins to see it. The entire time is wasted in driving around in an extremely uncomfortable bus. It's an absolute waste of time and money. I would give negative stars for this if I could.
They are the worst tour company out there. I've taken many tours over the years and this, that I am on right now, is the worst one to date. The tour guides are extremely rude to non-mandarin speakers since they do not understand any other language better. They make you pay $7 gratuity per person per day in addition to all the money you're already paying them for no reason- they are NOT disabled friendly, not language friendly and not family friendly. If you're coming to the US specially as a family for a trip, this should not be your choice. I've taken many tours with them giving them the benefit of the doubt but they don't deserve it. Stay away.
The most disappointed "guided" tour ever! Basically only transportation & accommodations were provided. Needed to transfer different buses in between. Night tour in LV were not an option. Tour guide only wanted us to watch shows in LV to make money. All tickets and entrance fees were higher than you buy online or at door. After a long day ride and we got only 50 mins free time on Hollywood main street, including restroom time. Drove us to downtown LA, looped around Music Center and the park next to it which the "tour guide" said they were both under remodeled and nothing to see. And that was our downtown sightseeing on the bus. Back to the hotel and the first day ended. Second day was only traveling on bus except 2.5 hrs of shopping in outlet (commissions to the guide). Arrived LV at 4:30 and the 2nd day ended and we're on our own. The guide tried to convince everyone to watch shows to make money. Night tour was not available since 6 people were talked into watching a show and left only 2 of us. We bought 2 tickets at box office in our hotel at lower price than the tour guide offered for better seats (we talked to other tourist to compare the seats). 3rd day was west rim Grand Canyon on a hot hot day. New tour guide was better. Again he talked people into helicopter rides. A few people went for it and again the price was higher than at door. Entrance fees were mandatory $90 lunch included but not skywalk. Hoover Dam stop was too hot too climb stairs to look at the dam. We didn't get to go inside. After that we went back to the hotel and no night tour was available again. 3rd day ended. 4th day was on bus to go home. It was the worst "guided" tour ever! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
Worst service..made for only chinese people.. too much charge.. the behaviour of the drivers and tours assistents are aweful. They ask for tips and untill you give them they will stand on top of your head and keep on asking for it. Even if something (food items) accidently fall off from your hand in the floor they will force you to clean the car floor. They will threaten you that they will fine you if you dont clean it.
2 days yesomite tour is worth of actually 1 day. The second day is completely wastage. Whole journey you will listen only chinese.

We joined a Lessan Tours to Vagas/Zion/Bryce/Antelope Canyon. When we were made a ware of their abysmal reviews, we were a little nervous. Fortunately, we had a great time Thank to Johnny Hu (tour guide ) and Benny May drove safely , and Johnny was honest, attentive and informative, We could not have asked for better experience.
We had booked 8 days tour through Lassen Tours. I share my experience with you guys. Lassen buses are comfortable. Hotels/ Motels were clen n nice. They stopped for food (lunch) at Chinese restaurants mostly. Being a vegetarian, I had limited choices. While waiting for the bus to arrive, we saw this gentleman Bruce Chang coordinating the passengers. We came to know that he was our tour guide. And for next 8 days he was with us. He is fluent in Mandarin n English as well. He is witty, knowledgeable about the places. He has sense of humor....helpful person, he never lost his cool. And the driver David Pang was a simple n nice person. He didn t know English well, but could manage passengers with cool attitude. We had nice time with them. Over all we enjoyed the tour.
Horrible. Drove over the mountain on 128 heading from fairfield to Napa. Crossed over double yellow lines at least 20x damn near hitting multiple cars & motorcyclists!
