Wanted to get out of Baltimore for a while to relax. Choose this place because of the amenities and location. We golfed at Robert Trent II, laid around the pool, used the spa, and brunched every day. Close to shopping, wineries, and Top Golf.

Nice pools, great service a carnival and food mall 15minutes away by car so you can eat out and enjoy activities after swimming, playing tennis, and/or a game of basketball. There are free drinks to keep you hydrated and great channels to keep you in. You'll love your stay.

As a resort, it does not offer too many options other than golf and a driving range. The property is not very scenic, no great trails or good bike paths. Did not see tennis courts either. They wanted to charge even for using a ping pong table. There is a spa, but in terms of outdoors, there isn't much to recommend outside of golf.

I was here on a work trip. Really slow wifi and unreliable TV. The hallway on the 3rd floor smelled a bit like old milk. Not really the premium hotel it advertises itself to be. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants, so they may be great, I don't know. Decent coffee in the lobby in the morning was nice. I probably won't stay here next time.

Overall a nice place, great food. Ac in room 711 will not hold temp, it fluctuates a good bit. Wifi was bad at times in room, and horrible in the amphitheater room. Amphitheater meeting room was very uncomfortable temperature wise, it was hot and stuffy

Beautiful location.

Beautiful location.
Attended a reception event in the ballroom. Food and drinks were excellent!

It was winter, did not use any resort services

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice as well. It was very clean and new. I enjoyed my stay. There are 3 restaurants: a $25 buffet, a poolside restaurant and the restaurant of the golf club.

Overall I had a nice stay, but I find it very odd that they have several eateries yet no book in the room that gives details such as hours or menus. I had to go online to their website to find out most of the information I needed to know. They do provide a newsletter in the room which gives some information that's helpful, but not everything that you need to know if you've never been there before. Also, the hot tub at the spa was out of order and I was not informed of it when I booked my massage. Not a deal-breaker but it would have been nice for them to mention. Aside from that, the room was fine and the staff was exceptionally pleasant.

Lansdowne has an excellent staff and I experienced excellent customer service during my time there. The facilities are well kept and everything was very clean. The location is convenient to DC and Dulles and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

We came here with two kids and three adults and the place was amazing they have an awesome pool outside which wasn't too cold and it had a slide that the toddlers can go on there was also some sort of kids club we opted out of the food was great and kids eat for free I would highly recommend this place for a family and the staff here was amazing there was this one guy named menath from Istanbul and he got right to my rescue when one of my glass plates accidentally broke and I was with my two kids barefoot he picked up one of the kids and walked all the way to my room and help me out that was very helpful in conclusion this place has everything you need in the right price

We stayed for Valentine s day, also celebrating our Anniversary with the romance package. The room was nice, but Valentine s dinner was horrible.

We payed $247 for what was advertised to us as a 4 course meal, which we reserved over the phone. Horrible service, horrible ambiance. We passed by the bar, which had nice table cloths and good ambiance, only to enter the Valentine restaurant, which looked like a cafeteria. There was no drink menu except for four choices of wine and when we selected a wine the waiter said let me see if we have that . We ordered a gin and soda and received a ginger ale, even after the waiter came back and asked cola or club soda? . My water was not refilled until we flagged down the waiter halfway through the meal. Our plates and empty glasses were not cleared. The entree was good (except for my husbands lobster, which was just shell), but the seafood buffet was a pile of shrimp next to a plate of salmon and a pile of salami (I m pretty sure on the phone there was mention of seafood salad and scallops). The salad was another station, with either a tiny plate of mixed greens, or small slab of romaine sitting next to croutons. The Valentine desert was an assortment of mini cupcakes and cheesy decorated sugar cookies, with an underwhelming crepe station. We left feeling disappointed and cheated out of what we thought was going to be a nice meal and getaway.

The other part of the romance package was s mores, but it was 28 degrees outside and windy with no contingency plan for weather.

Very clean, very hospitable staff. The property is beautiful. The breakfast at the country club terrace was beyond awesome, we took sunrise platter and Belgian waffles.
The wedding was in clubhouse ballroom that we attended and it was beautiful. The guest were 70 in the capacity of 300 people hall.
Everything was perfect and the staff was very good and accommodating.

Poor guest service. Beds are not comfortable. Breakfast buffet was beautiful, but not staffed properly for the crowd - making it impossible to truly enjoy it. The spa was nice, but I had issues there that were not properly resolved. I saw many intoxicated people, some looked like they could have been minors. The pool closed at 9pm? That made no sense. My overall frustrating experience was 'disappointing' - sad because the location is beautiful. It's apparent management needs to get it act together so that there is more consistency in the overall guest experience. I have been to many 5-star resorts and this one fails epically.

Peaceful and beautiful. It's only 30 minutes outside of the city, but feels world's away. We went for an anniversary weekend and appreciated the great food, the excellent pools for kids and adults, and the many programs available.

We attended a professional luncheon. The service was excellent, food was very good and the facility was very pleasant. My only concern is that they could direct you to the correct banquet hall a little more effectively

Great location in Leesburg, Virginia for a ladies getaway with wonderful wineries close by. The staff was super friendly, the restaurant on site was great with an amazing option of farm to table.
Although it rained, we still had a great time minus the outdoor s'mores making (we'll come back for that). Walked the trails that led down to the Potomac River and the loop around trail. Great golf course with beautiful views.
We got a chance to relax by the indoor fire place at night with drinks.

Beautiful location food great very spacious. Wireless internet is slow generally and at times very very slow sometimes unusable
Air conditioning not very well in our room seems to be set so it wouldn't cool down as needed and I the meeting rooms it is very stuffy

Such a beautiful property! Stayed her on 2 separate occasions. Both times our room was not clean and the bathroom was full of hair. Dispensers in shower are poor. I dropped the soap and - you can imagine. We had to call desk because we only had room temp water for 2 nights. I ve been told they are under new management. I wish them the best.

A jewel in the middle of community/commercial area. Huge space. Great amenieties. Friendly staff and great facilities. The food was good from both the restaurants. The overlook scenery was also great. Slightly on the expensive side but worth visiting

I was here for a conference. The seminar auditorium i was in was excellent. Comfortable chair and temperature was well moderated. Some of the best snack and drink options I have ever had at a conference. Restrooms were clean. It appears that the hotel allows dogs which was nice to see. I did not stay at the hotel as I am a local but it was an excellent venue for a conference.

A little disappointed for the price. Comfy beds, and clean rooms. Attentive and helpful staff. Lovely lobby spaces , but lots of little inconsistencies. To get to the main restaurant there is a grand main stair, which is lovely, but not safe for a member of our party with a disability, after asking a staff member we were lead to an elevator down two hallways and through two event spaces, where events were taking place to finally reach the restaurant. The main restaurant has lovely large windows but the room is always cold, my table was cracked and chipped and there was a large stain on the ceiling. The food was hit or miss. Some excellent stuff, some...not so much. The hotel pool was ok, the hot tub was sad (I did not visit the mineral spa). There is a disability lift-chair for the pool and hot tub, but in rather poor repair, functional, but made be very nervous. It was too cold for outdoor activities during my stay.

Excellent location for a spa retreat close to home. The grounds are beautiful, spacious. The management and staff were attentive, warm and welcoming - displaying lovely southern hospitality. The gym is fully equipped and employs excellent trainers. The spa is large but cozy, and boasts several beneficial facilities. My guest room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. I really enjoyed the Pub on the grounds. My only complaint is that the food was tasty but always lukewarm, never piping hot like I prefer it.

This was a great resort that I stayed at for a training. Perfect cozy atmosphere for the winter session. This location was used by Prosci to host their Change Management Certification course over 4 days. We were provided breakfast, lunch and dinner which all were delicious and delightful. The short rib, prime rib and lamb were the best! Omelette stations with an array of breakfast items warmed us up every morning. The room I stayed in was very spacious, comfortable and clean. I'm disappointed I didn't get a chance to enjoy the spa, gym or the pool. The rooms where the training was held were also comfortable and the accommodations were sufficient. There was a coffee and tea bar with snacks likes pastries, chips and treats along with a Coke soft drink dispenser and water. My only complaint is that there was a bit of renovation construction going on that was kind of distracting and hard to focus at times. Overall the service was on point from the front desk attendants to our servers for the meals and the housekeeping staff. A+ service! Go check em out!
