I have been using the Bell 4G connection for more than 05 years and have been paying my bills without any outstanding. This is to bring to notice that when I called the hotline number 1575 on 15th of February at 8.55 a.m the staff named Mr. Thiva was very rude and I have never experienced such a harsh call center service from Lanka bell. Actually my complaint was that I'm unable to activate extra GB since the online app is out of service from monday this week, but when I called to raise my question this so called staff was answering my questions disrespectfully and in a don't care voice.
I request you to take immediate action against the staff Mr. Thiva because due to such attitudes you may lose customers and may get a bad reputation to your LANKA BELL SERVICE.
VERY DISAPPOINTED ON THIS CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE.
WE ARE CUSTOMERS AND WE ARE NOT REQUESTING ANY SERVICE FOR FREE SO PLEASE TRY TO RESPECT THE CUSTOMERS.

I had a really bad experience with lankabell. I tried to check the bill through online billing and on 01/06/2016, it was 4300 and today it is 8300. It should have changed on 28/05/2016 but now they updated new rental with added government tax. And when I called them to ask the new rental , they told me it won't have much change. And their reason was Lankabell is goverment owned organisation. It was my fault to believe everything customer service say.
I was cut down without internet for 4 days & stomper service was sending me around. As a person work from home loss due to this poor net work was huge. I couldn t communicate with my clients during this period & Dialog came to rescue. 4-5 times I have spoke to customer care & they were not supportive, disconnecting line several times to avoid me, without cross checking they closed my complains. I faced the most poor service ever. Technical people crying that they can t help on this as it s island wide break down. I think kanaka bell management is becoming weak. That is why staff act like this. I have sent 3 Emails & still waiting for feedback from them. I strongly suggest not to go for this network who is not taking care of their customers. Hope some one will contact me to discuss my experience.
I really love their service. I use a PABX system for my company. They allowed to customize the call answering method as per my wish. Amazing service! I recommend for business use!
I appreciate their charges on 4G connection, which is very reasonable and now they have started a unique support service where you have assigned contact person for queries on your connection. This branch in particular is proffetional and offers good service to their customers.
Has few parking space . Service is good . I used bell4G for 1.5 years. Had to cancel the connection as it has no signal in Ratmalana . To everyone who buy the bell 4G router , though it mentions as free router ,you got to return the router in order to disconnect the connection . So keep the box and the cables safe without throwing . Its buy far has the cheapest Rates ,though its not fast enough to compete with the other connections .
Made a complaint about my internet connection everyday for more than a week but it not attended to. Finally decided to call the customer care manager Mrs. Deepashika but she refused to come to the phone and said she was unavailable. When I called the customer service hotline again and asked to speak to the customer care manager they kept cutting the line.
I have never experienced such bad customer care before. Hopefully the management will take the necessary action to improve their customer service!!!
Worst telecommunication service provider ever. Tried calling customer service many times still they are busy. Having lots of issues in their bell 4g portal. Time to time signal dropping etc.
Somewhat ok.but when ti a conbection ascertain signal level in ur area before d purchase.some places tis really good.packages r .reasonable compared to other networks
One of the worst internet services ever. I am regretting taking Lanka Bell. Very slow internet or no internet at all at day times. Very low signal. Very bad customer service. Will never recomend anybody for Lanka Bell. And i wonder how they call their routers 4G. Not even close to 2G at times.
Worst service in the hotline number. For 45mins I was in the line no one answers the phone. Most of all there is an issue in online payment for router billings since now it has not been made. We can't do our online payment and get the router line back. Please try to satisfy the customer first to develop your business.
Lanka bell office in kollupity. I went to deactivate my Bell 4G account. It's WiFi is by far the cheapest than any other providers but It comes with cost which It's the slowest network.
The worst internet service provider in srilanka. It take more than 30 mins to load google even... what the hell is wrong lanka bell cant even talk to a customer service rep.. please do not subscribe to this its a waste of money

Very very very upset with their customer service. Hot line 1575 is not answering in last 3 weeks. I have waited everyday more than 10 mins but no one answered.
At first i was only disappointed about the service and the internet speed. Now it's become the level which i hate lanka bell. i regret i chose lankabell over dialog. i can't do anything with this freaking internet connection . can't even load a twitter page let alone youtube. it seems like they only care about having customers not keeping them.
Believe it or not you call this the head office for lanka bell. Walk into it, you will see less glorious ambience. Laid back staff. Credit card machine didn't work on that day.

Visited few days ago.its called headoffice of lankabell.only two girls in front office customer care.one was calling someone and gossiping other ones busy with customer.they have no idea whats customer care
I complained for the poor internet connection many times in my bell 4G they came to my home after 4 months and they just reset my router and it is more slow dammmn service please improve the coverage in maradana. I had another with the head office that they never response for the customers they think they provide better service but never.! Customer service ZERO thru phone 1575. No one will answer the hotline except you will drain your funding on the mobile. My monthly allocated data over before the period, I was trying to get into customer portal to increase my data but it never appeared.
I purchased lankabell broadban connection and used it for around 6months without any issue. But we had to chage my recident and the new house premises didnt have lanka bell 4g cinnection. Then I had toreturn the device. At the time I purchase their connection, they said that they will refund 2500 cash deposit at the time of disconnection . But, they dont dobthat. They will say that they refund money only if you disconnectt within 2weeks of time inly. V
Worst Internet provider in Sri Lanka. Today Internet was interrupted several times. And when I call they told me there is an issue in the base center. And the customer service is very bad and unprofessional. If you are going to buy a service from Lanka Bell, you should think twice. I pay Rs. 3000 for this connection and it even can't load a search result properly.
Worst Internet provider in Sri Lanka...!!! Yesterday I was having issue with the connection, Then contacted customer care, they said that they will inform relevant team so far not even one call. They offers Cheap 4G packages, and with the package you get the cheap customer Service as well.. Do not go for Lanka bell 4g Guys..!!!
Internet service is good. When we call cus.service during a connection broblem due to tower failure or any other system problem in their side they know nothing. They talk rubbish and talk completely irrelevant simple things. Customer service ppl do not have any technical knowhow and give foolish solutions wasting our time.

I had a Bell 4G router. There were virtually no signal. Consuming internet via router was a pain. Bell did not address the complaints. I returned the router. The front office staff is slower than their router speed. I think sloths are faster than the staff at the head office. No emotions. Very poor service.
