Wow, One outstanding hotel. It was extremely difficult having to leave the Hotel to attend conference days. Would have been lovely just to stay in the room or in the hotel itself. Maybe next time LOL

Our room was beautiful and service was amazing! We had a spectacular dinner and breakfast at Al Fiori -impeccable service, would highly recommend the 4 course dinner. The wine list was over 100 pages with a selection satisfying all.

Exclusive and Discreet Hotel in the exact location necessary for my meetings. Attentive and Professional staff with matching attitudes and energy for all is demanding guests. Extremely comfortable rooms with energizing showers. Exquisite and efficient room service. Simply, a delight.

A very good five star hotel

A very good five star hotel
The rooms are spacious and of a good standard and well equipped with the latest amenities according to the type of hotel reservation
The hotel does not have a swimming pool, although it is five stars and that bothered me too lol
It has a medium quality restaurant
Its location is important, as it is close to Times Square (10 minutes walk), as well as close to the Square Garden, the public library and other important places on Fifth Avenue and others. And surrounded by a large number of shops and restaurants

This is by far my favorite hotel in New York City and I've stayed in many including Essex House, the Waldorf Astoria, The Dominic, The Plaza, and the Four Seasons. The location is perfect as we like to visit Midtown, SoHo, and Central Park. As part of Langham's1865 loyalty program we are able to check in early and check out late. The staff at the desk and concierge is always the same group so we've come to know them. One of my favorite things about this hotel is the room cleaning service and turn down service at night. I've never stayed in any hotel where the cleaning staff is as good. Room service is fine, the gym is very good and never too busy.

Had dinner at Ai Fiori. Beautiful hotel lobby and a great restaurant. Was there for a company holiday dinner. The group price was surprisingly in line with other lesser restaurants in the area but the finishing touches were that of hi quality dining. Service was a little slow for a large group but the food was delicious.

On busy 5th Avenue, this elegant hotel in a modern tower is a 6-minute walk from Bryant Park and 5 minutes on foot from the Empire State Building. It's also a 12-minute walk from the Theater District.

The understated rooms have wood accents and marble bathrooms, as well as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers. Suites, all on upper floors, have kitchens and city views.

A contemporary bar serves casual food and drink, while a chic restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining. Other amenities include a luxury spa, a 24-hour fitness center and a hair salon, plus 7,500 sq ft of event space.

Whether it is being welcomed home every time you enter the lobby, or the fresh baked cookies at bedtime and complementary Evian water at every turn this is a marvelous NYC hotel. Clean, luxurious rooms, Frette linens, a wonderful restaurant. There are few alternatives that beat this hotel in Midtown Manhattan

The restaurant on the second level was fantastic. It was quite packed. We were greeted immediately, but had to wait 30 minutes despite having reservations. The high quality food was delicious and the service was on point.

I originally gave the Langham NYC fewer stars, but was reminded of how they treat their guests when I had an issue with my bill: something was charged to my room in error, and when I called to get it corrected they immediately removed the charge without any hesitation or questions.

I had a couple issues with my room (dead lights, missing ironing board etc.) - nothing major, but I expected more from the Langham based on their reputation, previous reviews, and rate. The staff responded to my calls immediately, and even though they were unable to fix some of the issues immediately, they were very responsive and courteous - I felt like they earnestly wanted to fix the issues.

That is what I remember most about my stay at the Langham - the way the staff made me feel like they really cared about the quality of my stay. The room was very nice, don't get me wrong, but definitely the Langham's greatest asset is its staff.

Thank you Langham NYC team for a great experience!

An opening disclaimer for this review: I never write reviews for products and services. I read them all the time, naturally; I have to in order to help separate the BS from the truth. Rarely, however, do I ever take the time (or finish if I choose to start) to write a review for the benefit of others. Hell, this may not even really be for anybody's benefit...this may just be an outlet for me to gush while I stare at inadequate hotel listings in a less world-renowned region.

Here's the meat of the story. In 2012, I booked a special promotion, directly via the hotel, for a two-nights-for-one price on one of their suites. Though the circumstances (and name/ownership) may have changed since my stay nearly three years ago, I have never (and may never again) stayed at a better hotel, despite my best efforts stateside and abroad.

The suites here sport unparallelled sophistication, with room designs that scream luxury while never crossing the line into frivolity. The concept of having a dedicated assistant separated from the primary duties of the front desk is put to excellent use here, and further magnifies the exemplary level of round-the-clock service already evidenced in a top-notch room service menu (at an incredibly reasonable price, to my surprise), the provision and replenishment of room amenities, and friendly/helpful attitudes of every employee I encountered. I am not nor did I ever look the part of wealthy businessman or royalty, but over the course of my stay here I always FELT like one. It looked and felt like I was 100% provided for, like there was no request I could have that would go unfulfilled. This hotel single-handedly instilled in me a craving for and discerning attitude towards quality that has yet to be completely satisfied by any hotel since.

Perhaps when you're dropping as much dough as you drop at a place like this, everything I've said simply goes without saying, and the opinions of one as pedestrian as I bear less gravity than a feather floating in the exosphere. Furthermore, I'm sure that with even more money, I would've found some place even more breathtaking. Nevertheless, as I sit here at this moment searching somewhat frustratedly for passably similar four/five-star locations in the smaller city of Baltimore (which includes a Four Seasons that was MORE expensive and LESS amazing during my last stay), I can't help but think back to my amazing time at the Setai and wonder when I'll be in the position to come back.

This is by far the best and most luxurious hotel in the Greater Los Angeles area! The rooms are beyond elegant with the finest decor and materials. Service is exceptional everywhere in the hotel and it's restaurant, while very expensive, deserves at least 1 Michelin star. Expensive parking.

Great hotel, I came here after I couldn't stay in a smaller hotel and this place was worth the money. It was a bit expensive, but my room had a TV inside of the mirror in the bathroom (like a 50" flat screen) and the room was HUGE! The service here is 5 star and meets your ever whim, plus the staff is extremely friendly. Also, it is in a nice location and walking distance to everywhere. This is by far my favorite hotel in New York City.

It was great, I loved the service I was given and the people were nicer than I could have imagined. I really really enjoyed the view and location as it was close to everything though my room was never cleaned.

Hotel simply amazing. It starts with the location on 5th Avenue, passes through the excellent service of all the staff and finally closes with a very large and new room! Must see and no chance of mistake!

A stunning property, situated on Fifth Avenue and in easy reach of some of New York's most interesting and unusual sites. Elegant, refined and with stunning art pieces dotting the property, it's a feast for the eyes

What about this very luxurious hotel except that it is exceptional in everything: in its location (on the Fifth, next to the Empire); in the service (you will not only be satisfied in all your requests, but even pampered by chocolates on the pillow, by the always full drinks fridge, by the Nespresso coffee always available in the room, by the newspaper in the morning); in the cleanliness and size of the rooms (including bathrooms, with TV in the mirror); in the quality of the breakfasts and lunches at the restaurant "Ai Fiori" (agreement). In short, a true five-star!
Finally, the trendy venue on the 'groundfloor' is very welcoming and offers interesting jazz concerts at least three times a week.

Five star experience at this midtown hotel. Room and bathroom were exceptionally large (stayed in a family room with 2 queen beds); though on the 6th floor you could hear city traffic. Concierge service was the highlight of our visit at The Langham. From restaurant recommendations and reservations to finding an Alexander Hamilton walking tour to finding a watch repair man concierge service was wonderful.

Hotel bar is ok. It s part of the restaurant so closes earlier than one might want but the service was outstanding. Wait staff at the restaurant are obviously well trained.

Recommendation to the hotel: bathroom needs more lighting, especially for applying makeup. Provide two vanity mirrors. Wish the toilet was sectioned off for more privacy. Room needs more drawer space. Also, a lumbar pillow on the large chair would make the chair more comfortable.
