Landmark Americana Review

The food was fairly good as well as the atmosphere. The staff did their job until we got the bill. Our bill came up to be a little bit higher than we expected because the gratuity was already added into the bill. But when I paid using my debit card they still left the option open of giving a tip. Why would you try to trick us into giving you another said when you already included that in our bill without letting us know. Nor did it even say gratuity is included on the bill on the menu. Which most restaurants usually do. That was completely disrespectful. We work just as hard as you do. That does not mean to take advantage of our money.

Really good food, great service & the atmosphere is comfortable.

I often choose to go here. They have great food, especially the wings, desserts and drinks. Not too pricey, good music, and great specials. Very fast and great service.

Just dissatisfied and my waiter came to our table 2x the whole night o had to give tip to another waitress he said he was busy with an attitude not to mention food in my chk that wasn't supposed to be there

My children took me there to celebrate my birthday, I have to say it was a last minute decision, and that none of us had ever been there before or knew anyone who went there. It was the best decision we could have made everything we delicious, all the staff we wonderful and friendly and nice, can't wait to go back. I have to add the the Salmon was the best I ever had.

Landmark was the place in which I went to get awesome food now when I visited Landmark about a month ago I was disappointed and it was because of the waitresses couldn't figure out whose food was for what table so while they're figuring it out my fries was cooling down so by the time that I got my fries and my tacos they were Luke cold so I will say landmark get your life right when it comes down to servicing many people when you are busy make sure that you have your orders right so this way you can get to the correct tables in a correct time my advice to those who are looking at this rating order order your food to go you might get it a lot for sure cuz then sitting inside and waiting

Waited half an hour to get service . We asked the bartender twice for our server. nothing .
And then we saw people who came after us get service . On top of that .
We spoke to the manager and he didn't help at all .
Said I apologize for the tardyness . Tardyness isn't half AN HOUR ! It's ridiculous that I even feel like this is a problem . It's diligence

Foods is average just like the service.
Beer list definitely caters to the college crowd.

Oof went here for a work brunch. I would stick to the most basic diner type menu items as some folks in our group had some pretty poorly c executed dishes: "poached" eggs that were almost hard boiled, tofu that wasn't drained so it leaked flavorless water when they cut into it and overall everyone's food lacked basic seasoning. I'm sure it's popular with students but I was underwhelmed with the food and the draft list is also just meh.

I like Landmark in general, but I tried the bean burger today and it was nothing short of disgusting. Safe to say never again, and the prices here are kinda steep. Overall the food is okay here, I'll just never and I mean never ever ever try the bean grossness again

Used to work here. Great place to bring the girlfriend or whoever you're looking to slay that night

I am extremely disappointed by the service that I received here both from the waiter and as a response from the managers.

The server was new, which is understandable, but after multiple reminders and more than an hour, my food order still was not placed despite the promise from the waiter and the manager that the order had been placed.

The waiter often took the wrong food and drinks to the wrong tables. We were only offered plastic forks and knives as if this were McDonald's.

The food was acceptable at best, but it is difficult to judge because of the amount of time it took to get each item.

The manager comped one drink per person after offering a desert that we turned down. The part that was extremely offensive to me was that despite the numerous complaints to the manager and the acknowledgment of extremely poor service, our party of five was charged an automatic gratuity.

I understand that waiters in America are unfortunately not paid minimum wage, but our party should not have been forced to "tip" for inadequate service.

I am very disappointed at what took place here today. Don't let the 3 stars here fool you. This restaurant is unfortunately not worth the one star that I just give it.

My wife and I stopped here on 5/21/19 for an after work bite to eat and chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather. We ordered drinks and food, at the bar and sat down to enjoy the seating around the firepit. Things went downhill from there ...once we received our drinks and sat down , almost immediately a huge bug flew right into my fresh drink. I returned to the bar and informed the female bartender, she gave a weird smirk, giggled and said " we're outside what do you want me to do" ? I was confused and said I wanted a fresh drink. To which she replied " I could purchase another drink " ????? I was shocked , so, I didn't make a scene I just ordered another drink. I subsequently looked for and spoke to the manager "Joe", and told him what happened.He cosigned her response. Additionally , I inquired what is the policy if a bug gets into your food/drink on the inside of the restaurant. He told me it would be replaced but since I was outdoors , the policy is, it's not their responsibility ?????? Bad , bad ,bad customer service from "Joe " the manager at Landmark....Bad customer service policy from Landmark the restaurant !!!! Beware !!!

The BEST happy hour deals in the area! I mainly began going here for the reasonable prices. But continued to come back because of the service and food. The nachos are to die for and such a nice size and great value. Come here any day for a good time!

Our waitress Erin was outstanding food and service excellent

The food I have had here has been really bad. Definitely the worst chili and pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted, and I have always considered those impossible to mess up. The chili was unbearably sweet, they seem to add a lot of sugar to all their food. The pulled pork was just the greasiest, but not in a good way. It tasted like the pork was dipped in vegetable oil instead of BBQ sauce.

The wings are pretty good and the special for them is good. The drink specials are ok too.

Large place. Friendly staff. They put us in a section with no windows and it felt a little claustrophobic. My friend asked for a medium rare burger and we received an extremely well done slab of meat. Why ask the customer how they want their meat, then? I ordered a crab cake sandwich that tasted like freezer burn and a whole lot of seasonings and spices. Our waitress was nice and very personable. She made the experience tolerable for us.

The bar smells bad enough to make you sick but if it doesn't, the food will absolutely do the trick- they need to CLEAN, I will never eat here again.

Classic fast food ... average American food lacks wine and beer !!!!

Had the worst experience. Went to the Landmark on 34th street first, went and got out on the list for a table, waited 35 minutes for a text saying my table was ready. Never received it, went to the waiter and he never put my name on the list. It was 4 other parties complaining about the same thing. Left there and went to the Landmark on City Ave. Got seated quickly the waiter came and took our order for drinks and appetizers. When the food came the waiter left and never came back. We waited 40 minutes still no waiter, wereacked another waiter down to get our waiter so we could order our food. Our waiter finally came we placed our order and after waiting 30 minutes for our dinner my burger came uncooked. The waiter never refilled our beverages never asked if we were ik as we waited. When the waiter finally returned he gave us a bill with $20 gratuity added to our bill. We had a party of 3. I'll do everyone a favor, please don't go to any of their locations. The food was bad the service was bad and the manager states even if it was a party of 1 they would add gratuity. Save your money or choose another restaurant that has better service.

Good food and service. Decent prices. Good specials. Nice clean ambiance. Not particularly impressed by anything. Ahi tuna was way overcooked.

Nice environment with surprisingly above-average food. The prices are ok but it's better to go for the specials which are always happening.

Basic sports bar; just a place to watch games and have a beer on Drexel campus; nothing special about it.

Little pricey, but it's a great place to go with friends. Definitely recommend getting the sweet potato fries!

The manager is completely disrespectful and has absolutely no knowledge of her own menu. My friends and myself received slow service and people around us complained about having cold food. Before today I haven t had bad service. I will be calling my bank to get my money back one way or another.

Great spot to grab a quick drink or bite. They have good happy hour specials, great performers for the outside area, and fun events during the week, like their music bingo.

This has been a favorite of mine for two years now. Great atmosphere as a whole. Great staff, food, music and clean !

Never had a bad experience here. Great food, drinks, and service!

Been coming here for almost 10 years, only out of habit, and most likely will not be back. My daughter and her friend were seated in the back bar area, which is fine if they are full. They don t seem to care about the back area though, as apparent by the poor state of the tables (constantly moving, wobbling, put 2 tables of different heights together to make 1 table, etc). Waited longer than expected for simple finger food...waitress came over a few times to apologize for the wait. When they finally got the food, 2/3 final items were cold. Asked to comp the 2 items, stating the long wait time. Manager literally fought over it...like is $20 really going to break your day? Instead, left a bad impression on the kids and they don t feel like going back anymore. They ve gone there all through college, and Landmark has been a regular meet up spot since they graduated, but this interaction has ruined it for them.

I don t blame them for wanting to move away from Landmark. Food quality hasn t improved, prices constantly increase (and GrubHub prices are higher than in-restaurant prices), service is lacking. It s nice to visit once if you re in the area, but will be a waste of money.

It was quite amazing to visit the Landmark Americana for the first time.
The food presentation, and quality was 10 out of 10, and the drinks held there own to ensure it gave your a great buzz.
I recommend this to anyone wants great tasting food,and drinks at a fun location.

Our waitress Erin forgot to put our order in, after waiting for 45 minutes and then tells us she lost our order form... then added $34 for gratuity when she barely did anything. When we finally did get out food our table was filled with dishes and she never came and cleared them off... poor service... very poor service... Erin gave waitresses and the location a bad rep...

landmark is a good place to go mello environment me and my family enjoys going

The lunch was very good and the waitress was extremely nice!

We had the Main Street Burger, and the Spare Ribs Cheesesteak, and neither was worth a second visit. The local pilsner beer was fine although not super cold.

Drinks were so so , but the wings and mac n che were perfect

A great place in University City with a good and sufficiently long selection of beer. They have nice outdoor spot with fire place, which makes it a great spot to enjoy beer and food even in winter. The fries are not on the menu but ask your server for them.

Landmark is good place to go to for good food and a great atmosphere. It has numerous TV's and three bars.
