My wife and I recently purchased a 2012 Subaru WRX STI from Land Rover Roaring Fork and can't say enough about the professionalism and overall attention paid to our sales experience. Although the STI would not be considered "their typical inventory" our salesman, Robert Penland, was extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to perform the required research to answer all the questions we had on the vehicle. This was of the utmost importance as we were traveling from Boulder all the way to Glenwood Springs to purchase the vehicle. Bob not only addressed any questions we had but also took the time to properly photo any small damage he could find so we knew exactly what we were getting into before deciding to make the 6 hour round trip for the vehicle.

Both Robert and the finance manager Dave Toro, opened the dealership early on a Saturday to accommodate the scheduling constraints my wife and I had. This was just another example of how they were able to go above and beyond to make sure our experience was one of ease. Mr Toro handled our financing with promptness and professionalism clearly explaining what each of the documents we signed meant in both legal and layman's terms. Prior experience with buying vehicles at dealerships made us think it was going to be a multi-hour ordeal but we were pleasantly surprised that after deciding to purchase the vehicle we were finished and on the road in just under an hour!

I would highly recommend giving Land Rover Roaring Fork a shot at earning your business if they have a vehicle that you are interested in. I would just like to advise people not to purchase a vehicle at this dealership due to their employees not knowing anything about pre-owned or new vehicles extended warranty coverages, and not owning up to their mistakes and trying to keep their customers happy. In my case it was a very dangerous experience I could have had if my vehicle wouldn't have the proper care to replace repairs now my vehicle is very well taken care of by a different dealership. I have provided everything they asked, to this day have not own up to their mistake and try to fix it just basically throwing it under the rug & blaming a customer for something that could have been prevented when they had the vehicle in hand. I was informed there was something on the report when they did an inspection on my vehicle but to this day will not give me the explanation of what was popping up in the inspection.

Nothing but good things to say about Nick Mitros and Land Rover Roaring Fork. We were interested in an older LR3 they had. Unfortunately the truck sold the day before we were scheduled to go look at it, but since then Nick has been supremely helpful in trying to locate another vehicle that would work for us. I've always had exceptional sales experiences with Land Rover dealerships, but really didn't expect this level of service on a vehicle that's literally 10% the price of what they normally sell.
