Any issues we were having with the vehicles were thoroughly looked over and fixed in a timely matter. Jaguar Land Rover Hinsdale has a very up to date - great facility to present the luxury "brands" it represents - our experience was guided by Jeffrey Swift, Sales Guide. I didn't buy a car from them, thankfully. But I got literally to the finance office to write a check and asked to see the carfax, only to find out it had been in an accident. I couldn't believe a franchised dealer would sell a car like that. There was another one on the lot that I liked so I asked about that one instead - their response - "it's been in an accident too." Looks like this place buys the cars others won't at auction and probably buys them very cheap.

Be cautious when you buy a car from Land Rover Hinsdale. We bought a used car, and we were told that it was a one owner vehicle with no accidents. The carfax was provided. Two days ago, we tried to sell that car to carmax, and one accident was reported with frame damage and paint work. The car now has less value, and I am not even sure if it is a safe car to drive. I was shocked and disappointed. We went to the dealership yesterday and spoke to the manager, and it seemed like it was not a big deal to them. I am going back this Saturday, and hopefully, this big issue will be resolved in a proper manner. Once again, I am shocked because this car is our daughters car, and it is all about the safety. I will keep you posted.
LRH had the right truck for us. Jason was great...spending time to find us what we wanted and explaining all of the featured that interested us. He was patient and knowledgeable and ultimately we closed the deal. Great price, financing options and service!

I was just there with my husband . Terrible service and not helpful at all. We wanted to buy a car here since its the closest location we came here . We will never return to this location ever again. Terrible service.
I wish I would have read the terrible reviews before I even walked into this dealership. They have been nothing but a headache. After many long hours of them helping everyone but us we purchased a 2017 Cadillac Escalade from them. We took it for a short test drive before this and asked the sales person about the air-conditioning not feeling cold and he assured us that we just had the settings incorrect, but once we got back on the road it was clear the air conditioning did not work at all. So at nine months pregnant, in the heat of July we drive four hours home with no air-conditioning. That was just the beginning. Since then we ve had the vehicle in the shop several times and had to have the struts replaced, and have the vehicle realigned. The signal on the left rear view mirror does not work. They had assured us that they had gone through the car with a fine tooth comb in their service department. That was obviously a lie.
When we finally received our license plates several weeks after our temporary plates had expired, we had one week until the license and registration expired despite having paid the dealership to pay for an additional year since we were so close to the renewal time. We called to ask them for a refund of our 600+ dollars that paid the next year s registration fee. They agreed to do so but here we are three months later and have not received that money back. They claim that check will come from a third-party processing company but we don t have it. So I ve had to pay another $600+ to my local county for the money that I m waiting to get back from them. Also their finance department is a joke. Despite having more than sufficient income and a credit score that hovers around 800 they couldn t finance my loan for less than 5% interest I think it was 5.6%. So now I m working with my local credit union to refinance the vehicle I just purchased. I m guessing Wells Fargo gave them the best kickback on the loan so they picked what was most beneficial to them. All in all I would say this was the worst experience I ve ever had with a dealership and I ve had some pretty bad experiences.
Unless the $600+ is returned soon, I plan to take legal action.

Gigi went above and beyond all lengths to get our vehicle serviced properly and to work with Insurers and Warrantors to make sure we were covered fairly. Highly recommend Land Rover of Hinsdale and especially recommend working with Gigi Lopez for coordinating service needs.

If i can put 0 stars i would, dropped my car off to have the transmission replaced ( i'm in the auto industry i knew what needed to be done) Initially everything was fine, dropped off, get a loaner, and was waiting to hear back after they diagnosed the truck. The original Service advisor was very good with updates, however he had mentioned a "handling fee" that my extended warranty company would cover a portion of but not al. My extended warranty company paid for and shipped the trans at $0 to the dealer, however since it was a recycled part and not a brand new OEM from them, they charged a fee for a signature essentially
As i stated i am in the auto industry, over 18 years, have had previous vehicles get service done via a extended warranty at major dealers, never had a problem, here though it was nothing but a pain and struggle to get answers and a real explanation.
My original Service Advisor left the company, didn't hear from anyone for over a week, and only when I called, . did i get an update. Mike who handled the claim after the initial person, stated he felt he did a great job updating me, basically disclaiming how i felt about being updated. If the customer has to call to get an update on their vehicle, that is a problem and unacceptable in a business setting.
The way their service department conducts business is one of the worst I've ever seen. They don't care about the customer, their care about what they can squeeze out of the customer. I even went as far as to call 5 other Land Rover dealers on the matter of the "handling fee: and they all stated that it is something they can charge but almost NEVER charge it. I went into the repair not expecting a brand new part for a 8 year old vehicle with over 100k miles. That just makes no sense.
Bottom line, i highly suggest you take your service needs elsewhere unless you enjoy being told you are wrong about being updated, when you, the customer, had to call in for updates, and enjoy hidden fee's. I will NEVER get service done here again. I'm sure im missing things, but this is already long enough, you get the point.

My friend who has Jaguar, takes his car to Jaguar-Land Rover Hinsdale dealership for services. He highly spoke of them to me. One day he took me along to show me their line of vehicles. As soon as we entered the show room a jentleman approach us and introduced himself as Michael Logan and gladly offered his assistance. We thanked him and told him we like to browse. Again very politely with professional mannerisms made himself available for any question we might have and left us alone. That interaction was a bit surprising but was very delightful, because of my past experience in car dealerships which I felt many times I was a prey and the saleman was a predator. That day after driven different car and checking prices we went home. Couple days later after I decided to go back and make a deal Mike made the transaction as smooth as possible. The next day I had to go back to put remote app on my mobile phone, Mike couldn't be there. He made sure that his associate Jeff Swift take care of me. Jeff like Mike tried to show me everything I have to know. Again I enjoy such team work among themselves and made me comfortable that I won't be alone during the time of owning this car. I had a terrible experience to own a brand new Land Rover discovery sport HSE, I owned it about two and halt months, I had to go back for service four times. First time, after I had the car one week, I found the warm up system is not working, I went back to fix it, after 4 days later, I got back my car, I found they scratch my car, I had to go back for second time service, they sprayed the liquid to fix the scratch, make it lighter, but I still can see it. Two weeks later, I heard the noise from the front of the car, also, the ECO system was not working, I had to go back for the third time service. They told me they changed some parts of my car, there was the long wait, after 21 days, they sent back the car for me, but the ECO system still wasn't working, I call back to the service manager, but he told me ECO only work for spring and summer time, I didn't believe them. After two weeks, that was the fourth time service, I went to different location dealer to fix the ECO problem, finally, the problem was fix, but I am still afraid the car will have more problem come out. The total service time was 26 days. I waste lots of time and gasoline to go back for servers. People who want to buy this kind the car need to consider about my experience before to buy.
We bought a used car from Brian Collins and everything was fine until the purchase was completed. We bought the car with accessories included in the price and when the car arrived in our state, the accessories were missing even though we were assured they were in the car. Hoping this was a simple mistake, we called Brian to see if they could be mailed to us. He has not returned any of our calls or emails and when my husband did talk to him, he was rude saying, we were a deal that just won t go away. We still do not have accessories that were paid for which is completely unprofessional. I am sorry but working with a couple for less than a few weeks to buy a high end vehicle does not sound like a major inconvenience. Very disappointed and hope this kind of treatment and experience does not persist to others and through other land rover dealerships. This was our first buying experience through Land Rover and we are disappointed to say the least.
I want to update my review since I posted it 3 months ago. We have been in contact with the dealership and they have since made adjustments and listened to us about our experience. They have been professional and tried to address our concerns.
Avoid this service department. Short story: They gave me a $19,000 incorrect diagnosis, made my truck's issues worse, refused to acknowledge it. I subsequently fixed at an independent shop for under $1000 that exposed their incompetence. Long story: I brought my 05 Ranger Rover (one that I purchased at this location, Dan in sales is great 5 stars for him) for an intermittent problem I was having with ABS, Air Suspension, HDC related to CAN communication errors. Joe, service rep requested 4 hours of diagnostic time, which I agreed to. Joe gives me a diagnosis of bad wiring harness with a price tag of $19,000. I decline repairs and ask to pick up my car. Porter brings the car and I notice the panels in the trunk , center console are not properly fastened, I asked the service manager(Lori?) come see the condition of the vehicle. She was apologetic, and offered to take back (nice gesture). Frustrated I left. On my drive home I notice that my intermittent problem is now constant. I call Joe on my way home to tell him that the car is not functioning the way it was when I brought to them- it is worse. He tells me that it must be because the deteriorating wiring harness and I should consider selling or junking the car. I requested a refund for damaging my car and not putting it back together they refused. I took my vehicle to a local shop in the city and he diagnosed and repaired for under $1000. Said that the CAN connections were gapped by improper probing likely during "diagnosis" by Hinsdale service leading to continuous problem.
Eric is fantastic! Super personable, and makes you feel comfortable the second you speak with him. I would go back any day under any circumstance just to deal with him. I may even stop in to say hi sometimes since I m always in the Hinsdale/Oak Brook area. He is understanding of situations, and is willing to work with you. Everyone at Land Rover Hinsdale is very cooperative and appreciative. I always remember people who go out of their way to genuinely help another. Eric did just that. In the future, I can confidently say I look forward to always working with Land Rover Hinsdale...because just like me, they understand that sometimes in life...timing really is everything. Thank you Eric for all that you have done and continue to do to help me out whether it is tomorrow or next year. I will simply never forget you.
3rd car in 3 years from Land Rover Hinsdale. Have loved every one of them. All different. All head turners. They ve all been by special order through Dan Gallovitch who is knowledgeable, professional and has great follow through. Special orders in these times are sometimes draining due to uncertainty in availability and delivery. But when you have someone that helps you get the options that you want, is usually already on top of what s coming out, and knows the importance of communication, there s no reason to go anywhere else! Picked up the new Defender today! Awesome!

My parent bought our 1996 Land Rover Discovery, 2010 Range Rover Supercharged, and 2006 Land Rover LR3 from this dealership. I can't say much about the Discovery but I can tell you that when we were purchasing the Range Rover we originally went to the Jaguar of Naperville but after realizing that they knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle its self we decided to come here. The service here was great and when they showed us the car they knew what they were talking about and they knew what was on the car and what would be on the car. I do recommend taking and or purchasing your next Land Rover or Range Rover here.

The whole experience at this dealership was wonderful Jeffrey Swift was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Range Rover Velar Autobiography vehicle. He had the service team pull the car out of the showroom so I could test drive it! I was sold! David was involved with the lease agreement and Chris handled the paperwork professionally! Upon delivery, the enormous white bow was on my SVR and photos taken. Delsie went over all the great features with me. In summary, Bill Jacobs team is Definitely a 5+ STAR rating

Owner of a 2020 evoque HSE that had few issues since the purchase, I've purchased mine at different location since we couldn't land a happy medium between sales team and my self at the Hinsdale location, also previously done services were at location closer by me in Merrillville, however the service manager flat lied to my face about worked they did and trying to find an issue, it was easy to find out by looking at the logs, also getting a loaner was a big issue and required me to leave work early, so never again, Northfield where I purchased vehicle from told me to wait two weeks before they can give me a loaner, two week, that's a luxury brand dealership and service? my hopes were low, called Hinsdale, and spoke with someone who tolde they can get me in next day which was a relief, however next day the issue went away so I canceled appointment in the morning, I spoke with service advisor, explained the issue and was told there's is an update and they can take care that issue within hour, so I got appointment for Saturday morning, everyone was super nice, there was few more issues I've talked to the advisor about, and since they were out of loaners, they had enterprise bring me a car so I don't have to wait there all day and they can make sure all the issues were taken care of, that's a great service and amazing people, also good dealership policies, wish other locations learn a bit more from Bill Jacob's place, that's all she wrote folks.
