My son wants to give, Joel Osteen his prayer request in person.
It would mean a lot to my son, if he could meet Joel Osteen and give him his personal prayer request.

Though a large church, the support and classes offer a much more intimate feel and meet the needs for any person, christian or not. Struggling in your life or just want to spiritually grow, lakewood can meet those needs

I haven't visit Lakewood church though I really want too, I watch it on tv and enjoy every moment of it, to the people who speaks negative about Joel and when he talks about the compack center,do you talk about your blessings? I sure talk about mine, shame on the people who talk bad talk, God doesn't like ugly

This church has saved my life. I know people like to call Joel Osteen fake. But he really motivates and inspires me. He wants me to follow my dreams, pray bold prayers, and believe in the most high GOD. He said give him one year and he promises my life would change. I have to admit I am a much better person since I've been attending. I have been every Sunday since the last Sunday of the year 2019. He always has great guest speakers and singers. I encourage you to come join one of the services. I promise you will enjoy yourself.

Service was great...I don't like big churches much but I really enjoyed myself.

Best place I have ever been. I used to hate church until my wife took me to Lakewood. I was baptized that same night. Joel is awesome. His family is awesome. Pastor Gray is awesome. Pastor Steve Austin is (yep, you guessed it) awesome. People that hate Pastor Joel and Lakewood have never been there.

We have been there many times, and we always enjoy the services. Joel Osteen never closes a service without an offer to invite Jesus into ones life. We have seen Hillsong United & Danny Gokey, both unannounced-what a treat!

Good morning, I am Hernan de Jesus Ospina Rivera Colombian living in Brazil for 5 years now, I am looking forward to visiting his Igesia in Houston. I have been listening to the preachings of Joel Osteen for more than two years, which have made a very representative change in my life, both spiritually and economically. For which I need an invitation to process my visa, I have been saving money for this purpose since 2 years ago, and I know that because of God's favor I will be there in person at one of the Pastor's preachings.

The hospitality and the organization was wonderful.

Lakewood is, as Pastor Joel describes it, a place where they make you feel at home. It's a great home church, though I never thought this would be possible given how huge it is. There's a sense of intimacy that only the anointing could accomplish in such a setting. Pastors Joel and Victoria, the entire Osteen family including spouses, have a legacy that has become a huge blessing to this world, raised up for such a time as this. The opportunities to get involved are myriad and many. You cannot beat the comfort and beauty of the auditorium with it's amazing sound system. Many small groups meet, too many to count. Very few churches preach the true grace message in America, but Pastors Joel and Victoria do, as do Mama Dodie and Israel Houghton. Joel is always right on. His preaching contains many scriptures. One could easily not notice this. He understands the mission and the message of Jesus and the context of Bible passages. He is an activator, an encourager, and his messages will take you higher in your walk and life with Christ. Victoria is, too.

I've never before seen a church that I could recommend to anyone of any nationality or age. I've been to churches that were very alive and for-the-under-35. All ages are served here, from the very wee young to those magnificently full of days. People of all backgrounds from all parts of the world worship here. Women and men preach here. Yet there is unity! Sure you see people at all stages of growth, but that's what a church should be. There's a lot of teaching on what living the Christian life means, it keeps people on track with each other, as our Lord desired.

BTW if you watch online, you should try to visit. The sense of the Presence of God here is exponentially more powerful. You're literally drenched in the Spirit of God at every service, regardless of who is preaching. Wonderful guest speakers too. I used to be disappointed when Joel didn't preach on Sunday but now I trust that they have appointed someone almost as good when there's a guest.

Parking is like parking at a concert. Plenty of signage to direct you to the parking garage areas that the church uses and shares with the Doubletree next door. Be sure you remember where you parked as it can be a challenge to find your car after the service. I've spent 15 minutes looking for mine a couple of times. It's worth it.

I noticed many of the reviews about the church and Joel Osteen were "motivational preacher", "lifts my spirits up", "makes me feel good", "great experience", etc. I also noticed many reviews were very ambiguous about Joel's preaching, such as "God came into my life, and I changed" or "Once I knew Jesus, my life was different". Those are not bad things, but please keep in mind the Christian faith is not, has not, never will be solely about "your feelings and your experiences". It is about the salvation plan that God has set forth for His creation through Jesus Christ, and how that truth affects and influences us. I will let every person for himself/herself to ponder this "WHY do you believe WHAT you believe?" I hope the answer is not "Because it makes me feel good, and Joel Osteen says things that makes me feel that way". The true emotion we should feel is humility and subservience, knowing that we as sinners, who were meant for hell, were looked upon by the Lord that He should send His Son to die for us, and for all who believe to come to the cross knowing we were blessed with undeserved grace. May the Holy Spirit fill our lives with this humility, and may we spread the truth to unbelievers. Joel Osteen has carefully crafted his words and his ministry as "it is not up to me to judge whether you sin or not sin, my ministry is just show love. I don't preach about hell or sin because that's not my ministry." That is not the whole gospel, and what is not the whole gospel is not the gospel at all. I'm glad people experienced Jesus and Jesus changed their lives...but HOW? UNDERSTAND what you are believing, RESEARCH what Jesus is, WHO God is...the Trinity is not a FEELING, it is a Person, like a friend, who you need to understand, and only by understanding will you be able to develop a relationship...just like any relationships you have with other people (except this one is probably of insurmountable importance). Anyway, this is all to say that if you listen to Joel Osteen, please listen carefully and read between the lines; there is only ONE correct gospel, merely "quoting from Scripture and relating to message" does not qualify as Bible-based preaching. It is very easy to quote out of context, and Joel Osteen is notorious for this. For instance, "Jesus wept" can easily be interpreted as "it's okay to cry, so when you're feeling down cry it out, let your emotions flow." That is using Scripture out of context but still "relating to my message". Correct Bible-based preaching uses the entire context of the Bible, so when "Jesus wept" why did he cry? In the context of the whole Bible, his ministry, his life, and his origin why is "Jesus crying" important? And if you've noticed, Joel doesn't talk about hell, or the wages of sin. Is it important? YES, IT IS! For only when we know the depravity of our human natures can we begin to fully appreciate the undeserving grace God has given us. Christian faith is not a feel-good route, it is a route of absolute truth based on a book compiled with reliable sources from different authors with different languages within different time periods. It is a disservice and a grave sin to not preach the entire Bible.

"a social media narrative made lies about your church. that's a lie. if your chruch was flooded or fear of flooding why are people being let it now? you're liars and were shammed into helping people. this is your town, you should be ashamed.

Everyday i thought about killing myself i could only turn to drugs to not feel anything. Eventually i lost my job, car, apartment, girlfriend, and my drugs lol just about everything. I decided to put on something "Holley" while i kill myself and after listening to Joel Osteen on I'm still living and living 110 times better then ever. Thank you God for putting this person in my life...

There's no better place to be than the house of God and Lakewood Church is the perfect place to feel at home. Trust me that you go there you will wanna go again & again because you will have an encounter with God.

I wanted to see Joel Osteen live art Lakewood Church for many years, and really glad that I finally made it to a service there. I hope that I get to experience it again one day.

My children and I love coming here. We love hearing the word of God and feel the holy spirit.

Broad is the way that leads to destruction. Anyone who believes there are many paths to the father is going straight to hell. Joel Osteen is truly a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Services are well organized to handle large crowds. Very inspiring.

Spark and the Saturday evening service were great. Meeting Pastor Joel was special as we had missed getting in line due to my service dog needing to be walked, but he and his staff went out of their wzy to make sure myself and others who waited had a chance to get their books signed and the staff took pictures. I admire that he took his personal time to spend with the l people.

I fell for the old Joel Osteen con. Good thing I never sent in a dime. All that charm and constant smile covers something sinister deep inside him, I think. Plus, he has the oddest looking hair. I think it's as fake as he is. Take off the mask and wig, Joel, and let us see the real you.

Joel Osteen doesn't care about any of his members of that church. The only thing that matters to him, is that almighty dollar. It's easier to smile and preach the word when there are cameras on you, Joel doesn't believe hardly anything he says. Yes, the church is phenomenal inside....that's the trick of a mega church, to splurge on luxury, to grab you in and take your money blind. Go to a small town church, you'd probably get treated better.

We re a fellowship of men yearning to be more like Christ about the business of building His Kingdom.

I came here to see a man by the name of Joel, and I wasn't disappointed. We went to both the Saturday evening service and the Sunday morning service without knowing that they were the same. As a first-time visitor, it was a pleasant surprise to be able to meet Joel after the service.

Parking wasn't bad at all. You had to park in a parking garage and walk about a block or two, but you can drop off elderly or handicapped passengers at the front entrance. We arrived half an hour early and had no problem finding good parking and seats. It seemed like the visitors showed up early while the regular attendees shuffled in during the hour-long worship.

I'd definitely come back if I were visiting the Houston area, but due to the "light and airy" nature of Joel's sermons, I don't think I'd make my regular attendance here.

The security guys and the Ushers were top notch customer service....100% excellent. Loved it.

The most false shepherds preach here. It is amazing how the devil has blinded so many thousands of people and they cannot discern between the false and the truth. This was preached by our Lord Jesus Christ, that many would come in his name and commission many. Profession fulfilled.

The people there are really loving and willing to help others that need help. When I went I experienced that love. Feeling truly wanted and not rejected thank you Lakewood Church for welcoming me with open arms great ministry and praise and worship teams

There is a site online for victoria's face cream called suisse.
It is supposed to be $5 for a sample so I did sign up because I wanted to support her business plus it was affordable.
I did not realize it was a scam. They charged my account 3 times and the outstanding charge was $90.
Supposedly the $5 was shipping and handling and the $90 is for the face cream. And the other charge was not even mentioned, but I have proof of the charge.
I feel pretty foolish, but hopefully others can read my situation and not fall into the scam.
