PastorJoel, I trust you as a senior Pastor of one of the biggest and best Church in the world. Please, talk to Kanye about humbleness. His arrogance is not what I want my child to follow. He has an enormous following. I don't want my kid to think he has to have his shoes that cost way too much for the average person. He could knock the worlds socks off. Please give him some HONEST advice. You are so humble. And look what all you have? God Bless you as you serve as a mentor to this baby Christian.

I love the Osteen family & Lakewood Church..I attended in 1999-2001, before I returned to North Carolina.I was blessed to have inspirational teachings & being in a building where everyone worshipped GOD whole-heartedly was what I needed to learn to live drug free...it gave me courage & a sense of belonging to GOD....seven years later I had a deadly diagnosis of stage 4 cancer..Mother Osteens healing scriptures brought me into victory..I love Lakewood.GOD dwells there..HE has the final say.

Yall can say whatever you want about Joel, but do NOT take away from the fact that he exposed us to an amazing preacher , John Grey. That man is truly blessed and reads right out of the Bible. I don't even listen to Joel anymore for the gospel , I do read his inspirational quotes daily tho cuz what harm can that do? ?

This was our first time at Lakewood, and it was more than I expected. I'm sad we missed Pastor Joel, but was greatly blessed by seeing Pastor Prince.

Absolutely disgusting church, if you can really call it that at all. I will never forget how they let a "pastor" spew on stage his homophobic hate and mock gay men, going as far as literally mocking our voices with a high pitched, effeminate tone. You do not treat people that way. Deplorable! Zero Stars.

The worship music is top notch! The messages and guest speakers are always a treat. Services are even better in person than online or on T.V.

Good place to worship , kind of on the run service but good bible teaching, I have to be clear on this SPANISH service is more Biblical inclined than the motivational service in English than Joel has... just saying

This is the biggest church, but still such a warm church. You always feel the presence of God. I have never gone to a bad service. And child care is an easy process.

Im here every sunday for the early service. Come on by, you will feel right at home.

I've been going to Lakewood for about 10 years. The atmosphere is awe inspiring. If you've never visited Lakewood Church I challenge anyone to visit and see what I'm talking about.

I changed my life since I was going here in Lake Wood Church. I also baptized here. And Everytime Joel Olsteen give a message he will look into my eyes eyes to eyes. He is putting his messesages in my heart all the messages just like he is talking to me face to face in person. I love Lake Wood Church.

This is the only church that I have felt such power and therefore I had got baptized by Pastor Joel Osteen. I gave my repentance and was Babtised here after 38 years of waiting on the right pastor and church. Thank you God for leading me here. Forever thankful to Jesus the Messiah to be living my new life.

Pastor Victoria brings exciting incites and wisdom for daily living. Then Pastor Joel brings the Word with love, compassion, hope, and healing as Jesus did in Luke 4:18. You will definitely return!

I always wanted to visit here to hear some of that good ole Joel Olsteen WISDOM ... Unfortunately the services was cancelled due to COVID-19, but the feeling of being there alone was good enough for my spirit. I felt all positive energies at Lakewood Church, so I decided to do a slight photo shoot. Check it out guys.

Simply the best food, drinks and workout for your soul. If you are in the Houston area, make it a priority to stop by for Saturday or Sunday or Wednesday service.

I had the worse experience. First time to this church, tried to find a seat, and if you're not a regular member of this church, you're not made to feel welcomed. Every available seat, I was told by rude ushers and prayer partners, that seats were reserved for there friends. After countless attempts to sit down, I finally found a seat that I wasn't attacked for attempting to sit. There is nothing Christian about this church, the staff there are the rudest people. This place is just a big social scene, I will never be back after how I treated and made to feel so unwelcomed. It's all just a big production for the TV audience, and for Pastor Osteen to sell books. If you come in person to this church, all I was made to feel like was a seat filler for TV. After each service is ended, you are immediately ushered out for the next cattle call, looking for the next group of seat fillers to fill there offering buckets. Its sad how this so call church operates.

I've been here a year now and the love at this church is incredible. You not only hear in Pulpit but you actually see it in action in the lives of the many people that go there which is rare. I have served at a few different ministries that speak in tongues ( I do this and love it), know this and that revelation from the bible and do all these church activities but their lives. and they're heart sing a different tune. You CANNOT claim you know all revelation from God but can't even walk in the BASIC PRINCIPLE that Jesus lived by of walking in love towards the people. I have been in ministries smaller than lakewood where the Pastor would HURRY UP and leave before a member would want to speak to them or ask them for prayer but Joel meets his members EVERY SUNDAY when he's in town to at least introduce himself. He's now made a meeting every Sunday evening for anyone to met him as his wife after church hours and that's in addition to meeting after every service. That's unprecedented from coming from the ministries i was apart that made you feel the minister was untouchable and unreachable to you. Some ministers claim they know word and scripture but could care less about their members well being and talk about them when they leave. That's not how our Lord functions. As a leader in ministries I've seen it all and asked where is the LOVE!I've FINALLY through Gods glory found a church that allows me number one to be who GOD has called me to be WITHOUT ANY CHURCH AGENDA ATTACHED just Pure love with my AUTHENTIC OWN PERSONALITY that is God given and building my relationship with God NOT WITH FLESH MAN RULES but with ALL HUMBLENESS AND MEEKNESS.
From being in those other ministries I was Taught to WORK to get for God and not just seeing him as my father who has already done it all for me. You want to grow in God not because of your FEAR for him but because of your LOVE for him. Since being in this ministry i have come back to my first love with child like faith. I thank God for this ministry. It is The Best for everyone's growth: young,old, seasoned christians, young in Christ, all cultures,single and family based and they do good inside and outside the community. Get off the television; Its worth a visit . And please come as you are. There is freedom in Christ here.

Lakewood is an amazing chuch! Its DIVERSE, non- judgmental, acceptance to all, and LOVING. It welcomes ALL! the only down side is there is not much reading of the bible in depth as I was used to.

Those of you who have convicted Joey you haven't read the bible and we- I see no heart.

I started coming to this church with a friend a whillle back after I lost my brother. We were raised in a strict Christian household, but not until I had my daughter and moved to midtown did I recently begin attending regularly. She is 4 now and she loves her sunday school classes. Within 2 visits, I knew I wanted to be a part of something bigger so as I was filling out volunteer papers I spoke with a man and him and his wife offered to sponsor me on a women's retreat. Although I wasnt able to attend I have been coming every Sunday. I just LOVE the look on my daughter's face when she jumps on my bed every Sunday ready for church. I'd say my only concern is the church is SOOO big, that it seems the people wouldn't be able to connect on that huge of scale, but the members and staff are ALL amazingly heartwarming and no matter the question or how many questions, they are peaceful and kind. It's a great environment and I will keep returning!

I love attending this church, this is what I call home were you feel so welcome and so much in peace. I don't care what people have said about this church because usually those that speak don't even attend the church. I don't understand how can people say that to be close to GOD you do not need a church to attend , I think you do just the point of coming and listening to the word of GOD just makes the day the week go perfect. I recommend Lakewood to be your home like it has been mine for the past 7yrs.

Pastor Joel Osteen is truly anointed and a true vessel for The Lord! Attending service just to hear him preach is truly worth your time. The church is massive, so prepare yourself for crowds of people up entry and dismissal. It took me an hour to get out of the parking lot after service. That is the only reason why I didn't get it 5 stars, parking is horrendous. But then again, that's Houston!

I live in Melbourne Australia. Never been to Houston, but consider Lakewood Church my own - I watch and listen to the online display of the service every week!

I believe the entire Osteen family to be very much Godly people, dedicated to doing God's work.

I can't imagine how anyone could find anything negative to say about them! It must be a tremendous experience for all the people living in Houston who are lucky to attend this church.

Too big of a church. Needs to have another location. Pastor didn't go to seminary school. Had to go to restroom after service and wasn't able to because of long lines.

I love Lakewood bc of my pastor Joel and Mrs. Victor the Osteens period walk in love they teach and inspire they are God s people and life s are changed souls are being saved people need to understand God s people and we are going hard to teach the love and greatness of our father son and what it s like to be covered by the Holy Spirit !!! Keep up the good work pastor we love you and what you stand for!!! .

I feel overwhelmed but by the people.. they are not really that friendly but the message it's clear and the place looks fantastic. They really put there effort to making sure everything goes smoothly from the start to the end of the service.

Had friends drowning in the streets and came to this "house of God" for shelter and were turned away.
