It's a good way to spend a hot day. The wave pool is my favorite. Last time we went, many of the rides were shut down but their Magical night of lights event is always a blast... We take the kids every year!

Just ok new company is better than old managing company still 150 for each person per year is a little steep. You do get pritty good things with it bit still...i guess they are tring to keep the RIFF RAFF out. Plans to improove park on the way. Maybe next year I might consider a membership. Still clean and looks fun for the kids.

I'm not super crazy about them putting Santa inside the "bar and grill". That doesn't seem very kid friendly. Clearly it's to bring people inside the bar to spend money. Not sure that we'll be back next year.

Pricing is high & not clearly advertised. $15 parking fee per car in addition to a $10 entrance fee per person where you have access to the beach, Land Shark restaurant, several tiki/walk-up bars & fast food type vendors. You also have the option to purchase the water park wrist band if you choose. There are a ton of stairs to get down to the entrance, so be prepared if you plan to pack a lot for the beach. We got there early enough, so we waited for about 25mins to gain entry, but the line was a mile long by the time we got in & moving very slowly.

There is not an actual Margaritaville on-site; turns out the park is just under the Margaritaville name. This was disappointing, as it was honestly the reason we decided to come here.

Overall we had a nice time enjoying our drinks & music on the beach, but we felt it wasn t worth the $35 for 2 people just to walk in the door.

I came from Alabama to ride the boat. My cousin son was murdered that morning. I called & spoke with them about a refund. The lady was very rude to me. She kept cutting me off. I understand there policy. Under the circumstances y all should honor it.

**This review is about the restaurant only**

Food was good. HOWEVER, why should I have to pay $15 to get to a restaurant to eat and spend another $60!? This is ridiculous! I was told they don t know what you re doing in the park so they charge everyone the $15 entry fee. Ok... give a PASS to hang on the mirror for people to go to the restaurant and an arm band for them to wear. If you re caught out of the restaurant area you get told to leave, easy enough.

We have been coming here for a few years now and really enjoy the place. Had dinner at the Land Shark Grill and were pleasantly surprised how much better things have gotten. The Hostess Abbey greeted us with a smile, was polite and accommodating with a seating request. Service was timely and the food was really good. After dinner the Manager Chip came by to introduce himself, asked about our experience and was genuinely interested on how his team performed. Keep up the good work.

Great place to take the kids for a holiday night out, plenty of rides to choose from, and awesome light displays.A little expensive as far as food and drinks go,but that is something you pay for everywhere else also so not much different than any other attraction.

There are many water actiivities at this water park. They cover all age groups. The owners have invested quite a bit of money to improve the property. We have been season pass holders for a number of years.

Seems as though the lights were cut in half not as many as usual. No signs to the restrooms or not existing. No signs for parking for the Santa area posted. But from years have passed just generally disappointed to the amount of lights that was available for the price I had to pay. And I've never had a problem paying in years past, always felt I got my money's worth. But not able to see Santa this year what's a very big disappointment

Well the website states they open at 8 am so when I arrived at 8 am we found out that they didn't open until 10. A little frustrating having to wait around until 10, but if you open the calendar it says 10 but didn't find that out until we were waiting for 1.5 hours. We drove a good ways away too so it wasn't like we could just go back home. This needs to be changed on the website to be more clearer.

Lots of fun! Much to do, nice lake beaches with marinas and many things to enjoy yourself with your partner or wife! Also, a mountain of fun for kids!!! Zip lines going over the water and beach is my favorite one! Huge video screen playing music videos all day long, places to eat and drink, rent boats, water slides, you name it!

Way over price for a low income family. $45.00 to go in plus $2.50 a ticket for the rides and once inside everything cost. May as well go drive around neighborhoods for free that paying $45 to not so magical few lights.

My family and I visit Lake Lanier often. We are season pass holders, in the summer we spend numerous weekends there and rent a lake house or villa. I have never had a bad experience in the 5 years in which we've visited. Looking forward to my getaway there this weekend with my husband.

There is nothing magical about the Christmas lights display they offer for $42 PER CAR! The path you must take to view the Christmas lights have a lot of turns & roundabouts, so it s highly unenjoyable for the driver & passengers. The 7 miles of lights include a lot of twists and turns around roads that do not have Christmas lights to see. It s going to seem super short!! The bonfires & s mores kit they offer at the end towards the carnival rides is a nice touch, but everything is extra money. We spend $60+ for a group of 4 to stay for about 30 minutes. & That s because we looked around to see the lights twice & stayed to check out the bonfires.

There have been some changes from last year to this year. Tiki huts, palm trees and new paint on some of the buildings. The staff is service focused. Impressively focused. Staff members with management badges are everywhere attending to customers and the facility. One guy BJ even went so far as to refund our $1 tube deposit after the register was closed for the day. He walked us across the park to where we had parked and authorized an associate to refund the deposit from another register. Come on! Now that's service!! They are all working so hard to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Thank you BJ and team. Because of your service we decided to purchase season passes.

This place is very relaxing... drinks to help relax even more. I didn't get a chance to go zip lining while I was there but I plan to. Parking was $15 and the umbrellas were $20 didn't care too much for those prices but its still a great place to visit and very family friendly.

We went to Lake Lanier for the snow festivities only to find out the power was out after we paid. There is a height requirement for the snow tubing leaving those under 5 out of the fun. The wait for one time down the snow tube was almost an hour. We did enjoy the snow play areas to simply throw snow. The food at Land shark was sub par bar food. I would certainly bring a cooler on the boat next time.

I can t wait to go back in the summer time, they certainly have an amazing set up for the summer months.

The food has definitely taken a steep dive since summer 2017. What happened to Tads by the wave pool? - simple yet delicious. It is all becoming very branded and it is obvious the food is all frozen. We bought season passes for 2018. 2019 is highly questionable. The previous turn-around coo did an excellent job. A lot of it has been undone. Quel domage!

Spent a beautiful fall afternoon watching the Panthers on the big screen (Atlanta wasn't play that afternoon) at Lake Lanier Island's Margaritaville. Worth a drive to check out this up and coming venue for outdoor activities with plenty of food available

Best place to visit during Christmas time! Not only are the lights great, but the other activities are fun too. The rides are great and the snow tubing is awesome. And they have the best Santa! Highly recommend!

Park is pretty fun, but some dude with a superiority complex came over and threatened to kick us out over us holding a tin of mustard? I understand if he'd just ask us politely to put the mustard back, but he was insanely confrontational and seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Made our experience significantly worse than it could've been otherwise, but still a relatively nice park.
