We loved Trafton Academy!

We loved Trafton Academy!
The teachers were awesome and the curriculum was amazing. After graduating from Trafton, my daughter moved on to St. Agnes Academy; because of the education she received at Trafton, she was well prepared and is doing well. So if you're looking for a school with low student/teacher ratio, a nice campus, and an outstanding curriculum Trafton is it!

The focus on academic and emotional success of each student is unparallaled. Trafton has taught our children to be organized, prepared and most important- accountable for their actions. The teachers and administration are there because they love to teach and take it seriously.

Our four children all attended Trafton and were well prepared to move on to some of the best prep high schools in Houston. Beyond the strong academics, there is a sense of community that we've never found at any other schools our kids have attended. Trafton is a special place.

Both of my kids, now one in high school and one in college, attended Trafton. They also attended a Catholic school for several years before moving to Trafton. I can easily say that Trafton is a fantastic school academically. My kids learned organizational skills and how to study, which they did not get from the Catholic school and has been extremely beneficial throughout high school and college. The teachers are very consistent across grades. The administration is very professional. They understand that kids don't have to fit in a box. They are fair and firm when it comes to discipline. They will not tolerate bullying. I highly recommend Trafton for kids that need or want a smaller school and parents who expect their kids to gain life-long learning skills.

I graduated from Trafton in 2015, and it is one of the best schools in the city! They helped me prepare both academically and personally for high school applications, and they helped me get into many esteemed high schools. The students are great, and there is no stuck-up attitude here, unlike most private schools in Houston. The faculty is amazing and since the class sizes are so small, every teacher knows his or her students personally. The school has an ever-growing athletic program, and it set the foundations of sports and athletics that I will carry with me to college. When you drive by, you may see a weird-looking campus, with one side being made of a few houses fused together, and the other side some buildings with a porch connecting them, but Trafton is very special and unique. I highly recommend this school.

Trafton has perhaps the best middle school program in the city. Comparing it to other private schools my children and my friends' children have attended, Trafton's academics honestly surpass them all. And though they have such a superb curriculum, the atmosphere is not of an "elite" school and does not promote elitism in the students. Rather, it is a warm and friendly campus where the students feel known and cared about and where misbehavior is addressed and not tolerated. My daughter was exceptionally well prepared for her high school honors classes and her teachers have remarked how her writing (thanks to the wonderful English faculty) was well ahead of her peers. Truly a wonderful experience for our daughter.

I graduated from Trafton in 2015. I'm now at Episcopal High School and every single person that graduated from Trafton is doing a great job in high school. Trafton greatly prepares students for the challenges of high school while providing a family like learning environment. They have very experienced teachers who not only teach academics but also shape children into great students and people. I loved it there, and I would highly reccomend it!

I graduated last year (class of 2014) and I absolutely loved it! The teachers are very nice and understanding. The only thing I would say it don't judge a book by it's cover. Trafton isn't very pretty on the outside, but when you attend there, it doesn't even matter.

We moved our son to Trafton in 5th grade and were so impressed by the academics that we moved our 2 daughters over a year later. Trafton keeps its class size small so that teachers can give students individualized attention as needed. Trafton also excels in teaching organization and study skills. Here is a quote from a letter my daughter wrote to us last year, "Thank you for sending me to Trafton Academy. I am so happy to be here for 6th grade because of the amazing education I am getting. I will be ready for anything high school throws at me!"
