I've been here 3 times but the last time was soooo loud I could barely hear the lyrics or the instruments for that matter. I'm a regular concert goer and this was just unacceptable. I left one of my favorite artists early because the terrible quality of sound and the EXTREMELY high volume that distorted every band's music and gave me a crazy bad headache.

*the sound is good and thwt's the only reason I'll give them 2 stars.

The Henry Fonda Theatre aka The Music Box has been one of my favorite concert venues in LA for the 20 years I've been attending concerts. I've seen big bands in this small space. From Green Day to Andrew WK a few weeks ago, you will never have a bad seat. Events tend to be General Admission and no matter where you end up you will have a great view of the stage and bleeding ears (kidding of course). The lower level has two bars, one facing the stage and one facing the entrance. There is also a balcony area that has a bar and another set of stairs leading to the second floor patio. [Note: The upper levels were closed for Andrew WK :( ] But they have a couple of bars and it's okay to smoke if you for some reason still do that. Great venue that should be on the list for any music lover.

Beautiful venue. The rooftop bar is awesome! Great place to hangout before the show. Saw Margo Price here. It's a really intimate place to see a show. The acoustics were great. The architecture of the place is pretty eye catching. Do try and catch a show here if you get the chance.

Excellent venue to see a show. They even have seated balcony for us old folks. It is pretty small so it seems intimate. The bar is expensive and the bathroom is tiny though. But it all was clean and the staff was nice.

I've seen so many shows including my first date with my highschool sweetheart/wife. Cradle of filth, steel panther... This place rocks and never let's down. It's just a solid venue for a show.

Great venue! Beautiful old theater. No seating in the main area. There are seats, some with tables, in the balcony, but it looked like people had camped out for the seats with tables. A large open air second floor patio for chilling and smoking with cabanas and a cool view.

Awesome venue. Beautiful, low key, great staff, had such a great time. Attracts great artists, and a really cool crowd, makes it enjoyable. And, parking isn't that horrible, you just have to suck it up and pay the the $20-$25 bucks. Which is honestly not that horrible compared to Downtown. Or most parking structures... 2 thumbs way up. Best concert I've been to in years!

There venue is located in a great part of Hollywood. I often get lucky with street parking and in around the location. The venue itself is ornate, historic, and intimate. I've seen a few shows here and attended a few events in this space, and I'm always impressed with the venue and the sound quality. The venue doesn't have the greatest lighting technology, but this doesn't seem to impact the types of shows or intimate experience that it does cater to.

The theater was not very big. There was a bar area towards the back right in the center of the floor area. No seats, except up in the balcony. I went to the KPP concert . The floor was pretty crowded and hot. I'm surprised no one passed out. Kyary was soooooooooo adorable!

Such an amazing place. Right off the red line so you don't need to worry about driving and I loved how there was outside space with it's own bar as well as multiple levels to watch the show. What a cool theater

Beautiful interior! Security was thorough, efficient, and friendly. Bar was easy to get to and the Id check+ wristband to buy alcohol was fast as well. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Sound was perfect! Bring some earplugs to protect your ears. Definitely looking forward to my next show here.

Still one of my favorite venues in Los Angeles to see live music. Sight lines are great from pretty much everywhere (unlike some others *coughWILTERNcough*...), sound is always on point, the rooftop bar area is a great way to kill time before the show or between sets, AND you can go between the venue and Blue Palms next door if you want some really good beers and/or food. If you like a band and they're playing at the Fonda, definitely get tix.

The Fonda Theater is an amazing venue to see live music. The place isn't to small and has a warm, inviting, intimate atmosphere for your listening pleaser. I enjoy the option of the general admission standing 1st floor or the second floor, first come first serve seats. Only negative: drinks are on the pricey side.

My first time at the Fonda Theatre and it was superb. It's is a great place to catch a live performance of a band because the venue us small. You can also choose between sitting on the balcony where they have seats or watching performances on the floor, which is a standing room, first come basis. It's casual but also classy. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Great acoustics and the stage is small so if you're looking for an intimate concert, that s is your place. I had s great time. Definitely recommend it to see your favorite up and coming band.
