Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Would've given 5 stars but service was sometimes slow, never did get ketchup. But mostly pretty good.

Delicious and friendly. The owner's are super kind and friendly. The Bloody Mary is top notch. Live the shrimp and grits too.

We have been to Houndstooth before with poor service, but last week in our return visit takes the cake. I waited for 15 minutes ACTUALLY to get my water, while tables that had been seated after me were being handed their waters and a man had managed to get 3 beers while I still have no water. When I asked can I order I got a finger put up in my face telling me to hang on. When asked about what is going on, the same waitress replied we are busy. (Mind you it s maybe 20 people with 2 people manning the bar) when we looked surprised and said, busy? said waitress ran to the back of the bar mimicking us and being rude in her LOUD discussion with the other bartender. All of this attitude and hassle for awful food. Overall, our experience here left us wondering why this is a neighborhood favorite and we will likely never return.

I love the grouper fingers they have. My friend had the po boy sandwich. After 2 bites he said it wasn't good at all so he ordered quesadilla (bbq) and lived it. My other buddy ordered bbq quesadilla and loved it. The ticket times were unnecessarily long. We sat at the bar which was a different room than dining room. This was my first time at this place. I will go back and dine again. Maybe dining experience would be different. Will let you know.

It's good food at decent prices. Nothing fancy or amazing, just good.

Denise was our server more than a dozen times and consistently provides Fantastic Service every time, has great people skills and makes our experience excellent every time!

Ordered a take out order tonight and all I can say is "WOW", it's hard to say which was better, the ribeye, the calamri or the shrimp. Great service as well, but the food, just WOW. Longhorns lost a customer tonight when they refused a take out order, their loss is definitely my gain. I can't recommend the Houndstooth enough.

Horrible service. Waited 15 minutes to have someone take our drink order.... and then an hour and a half to get food.

First time in...the parmesan crusted grouper was what I ordered....DELICIOUS.

We've been here about 6 times now and have never been disappointed. The food is great and so is the service.

This place is unquestionably one of the finest restaurants in the region. Every time I visit this place I am awfully happy. They preserve their very high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they serve. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Very recommended.

Great food with reasonable prices. I went at 5pm before the dinner rush and got in and out in an hour.

So disappointed on Father's Day. Anticipated a great buffet but waited and waited for fresh food. Our large party was stuck in a room with another large party and the room had NO A/C. It was broken and when we asked about repairs we were given the silent treatment. 87 degrees in the room. Service was good considering the crowd.

I would like to have Mother's Day brunch at your restaurant, but I am concerned about the negative reviews. They all seem to have the same issues with your service, which is a big deal to me. The last response to a complaint was over two months ago. Give me a great reason to dine at your restaurant and I'll be there!

I ate grouper fingers, fries, and slaw. Delicious!! Great food, great service.

The prices were good but the food was overcooked and dry. I would give it another chance though, it would have just been a bad day for the cook

If you're looking for a really delightful dining experience in a local restaurant, I highly recommend the Houndstooth Grill & Tavern. It is definitely at the top of our favorite five! Delicious food, very nice atmosphere and great service.

I used to eat here all the time and loved it. Overall great food even though the Cajun Pasta (one of my favorite items) was lacking flavor this time around. The grouper fingers are always a great choice and overall it was a good experience.

Food was fantastic. LOVED the smoked salmon baguettes.. They were wonderful about accommodating 18 people. Everyone had a great time and everyone enjoyed their meals

Romantic, good food, clean, very attentive probably a soft music in the place could be good. Un lugar muy lindo y especial los mozos muy buenos, quizas hace falta una musica suave.
Being here 3 times last two time has some issues with the food, they just change the food and said sorry, not going any more.

Food was great. Office Christmas party in the back room.. It was cold to begin with until everyone got there. The only issue was the lights kept flicking.

1st and last visit. Ordered the Reuben sandwich. Brisket was cut in large slices. Meat full of fat a gristle. Worst Reuben sandwich ever made as far as I'm concerned. Save yourself the trouble, don't eat here!

We were out as a group, running errands in that area, and stumbled across this location. The food that we each had was good, the portions were well sized. However, my burger came out to the table a bit "naked" when I had ordered it with everything. A few other things were incorrect, but nothing big enough that anyone wished to complain.
Our waiter was a clean cut guy whose personality seemed to be better suited to a hippie. He was good, but just a bit off.

Awesome spot to eat food when in a rush. The customer service is rapid, pricing is fair, fantastic character. I highly recommend this place

I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. All 3 of us enjoyed our dinner. Nice atmosphere, if I'm in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Certainly adequate, I loved the interior decor. I would stop here again if I were in the area and hungry.

Very lovely place to dine. Romantic setting that is very warm feeling to the soul. Very suitable for any occasion. Well trained staff members and very engaged owners. You will not be disappointed. The food is always cooked with care and precision.

I have to believe we just came on the wrong day. We ordered a type of seafood dip and it was served just luke warm with the hardest tortilla chips you could imagine.. I ordered a side salad and it never came until I asked the waitress to please box it up when she was putting our entrees down. Then I look at my entree and I asked the french fries be substituted for broccoli. No broccoli and a whole pile of fries. My husband ordered this fancy fish dish that had a type of seafood stuffing on top. It probably would have been wonderful had it not been the very same luke warm seafood dip we had started the meal with. I was very disapointed when I had to put my card out to pay for that meal.

Needs to be taken off the doordash platform! They don t even get the orders when we do and it takes them almost 45 minutes past our pick up and drop off time to make us late to other orders. Please go ahead and just take off the restaurant itself

Service was slow but food was good. Nice looking place.

We have done the drive up curbside take out now twice in the last couple of weeks. The first was good. Not fast but the food was well prepared. The second experience was last night and it was pretty bad. Burgers burned to where they are pretty much charcoal, fried shrimp were over fried. It was a large order and quite honestly very disappointing.

Now in fairness, we have eaten here server times where the experience was decent. I didn t give them a lower score simply because my over all experience has been ok. This last time was not.

Worth trying out IMHO but I hope they tighten up on quality during this super difficult time.

Food was honestly not very good at all for the price. I ordered the Ahi Tuna appetizer as a meal. It read on the menu that it was served with Siracha Mayo I believe. The sauce was ranch dressing with a little bit of siracha mixed in. Ranch and raw tuna are not a good combo. It was the worse Ahi Tuna I ve ever had. The other sauce it was served with tasted like Worcestershire sauce. They don t have a good choice of sides either. A person I was with ordered fish and it was over cooked and dry. The steak another friend of mine ordered was good though. The service was okay as well. But overall I would go elsewhere for a nice dinner there are much better places for the price.

Inconsistent. We have great experiences and then we have bad experiences. Our last visit was unfortunately a bad one. I ordered the artichoke chicken, one of my favorites, and while the chicken was perfect the sides were terrible. My steamed broccoli was completely raw and the green beans were flavorless and tasted as though they were cooked in the microwave. Not to mention their air conditioning was dripping all over our table and in our food. This place is usually one of our favorites, but after this last experience I don't think I will be returning.

Look. The food was pretty tasty I won't lie. BUT the service was horrible. They left our poor waiter to handle our group of 13 by himself even though we were nearly the only ones in the restaurant. I can't blame him for the service because he should have had major help but my drink was continually dry and I think I got only one refill the entire dinner. The bar is a JOKE! Super tiny booths that we managed to jam 2 people per side into but really seem to be made for one person. The bar didn't have any ciders to offer (one if the fastest growing segments of "beer" by the way) and they couldn't make a Moscow mule for lack of ginger beer which is probably THE most popular drink right now. Only 6 options on tap? Really? Got to the table and the limited wine selection didn't give us many good options but we ordered 2 of the best red on the list and needed a third but of course, they didn't have anymore. It was like a circus in this place. Doubt I would ever go back unless reviews to the opposite of mine start piling up.

Menu looked great but the service and food were not on par at all.

Stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed it. We had burgers and sandwiches. Service was quick without being rushed and pricing was good. Not far from interstate 85 exit near Chateau Elan.

My wife and I love having date nights here. LOVE their buffalo chicken quesadilla!

The food was not to the par of the last few Mother's Day buffets. More options lower quality due to being over cooked.

Terrible customer service. Wings are breaded. There was no choice to have naked wings. Will never eat there again.

Food is mediocre. We were not greeted at the door by the 2 hostess. They just stared at the table chart as we stood there. We were taken to a table that had sugar packet leftovers on it. We were however greeted by our waiter. Who was a good waiter. However is apron had obviously been thru a few days of wear. It starts the whole meal off with a dirty feel. We experienced flys at our table during the meal. My Cesar salad was swimming in dressing. Who puts grapes on Cesar salads? My wife had a chicken Alfredo that had crushed red pepper in it. It was way to spicy for her.

It's too bad. They have a great location and could use a make over and menu refresh.

Think they are going for an old English pub type of atmosphere but not quite what it should be. Food is a little uninspired and I had their signature "long island ice tea" and it was made with sweet tea instead of cola not good to me at all. Food was really not bad but maybe just a little boring.

This place has excellent wings! The grouper sandwich is good, but a little smaller than expected. The classic burger was not that good. The patty is thin and flavored with some marinade that was kind of basic. It didn't help that it was a little undercooked. Table service was good. Bathrooms had some calcium or lime build up on the faucets, but otherwise clean.

Amazing flavor! Great service! Beautifully decorated and good atmosphere. The steaks are good and the mashed potatoes are out of this world! Our waitress Shellum was very attentive and had a humbleness about her that you just don't see anymore. Can't wait to go back!

We went to the restaurant with my wife and mother for a meal. Now, my wife and I had been up all night with my brother-in-law who was in an accident and is in the hospital so we were not our sharpest with about 2 hours rest. Were greeted and seated promptly. The waitress arrived and took our drink orders, they arrived correctly. While looking over the very tattered and falling apart menu I opted for the Stuffed Grouper. I requested some bread and received some grilled sandwich buns with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it, I think. BIG MISTAKE ordering the grouper. While others ordered a burger and a vegetable platter. The fish arrived and looked bland and white with something drizzled on the end. The fish was not grouper, maybe Tallapia, but that was the least of my problems. The crabmeat that was brought out to me had a odor that smelt rancid and looked slimy in appearance, but I was not positive what was bad. So I started to eat the fish and soon the odor drifted across the table to the other diners and they inquired about it. Once the looked a little closer at it they realized that the fish or crabmeat was rancid. I called the waitress back over and requested a manger to visit the table. A young man came over and asked if there was a problem. I showed him the plate with the rancid food on it and asked him to take a smell, he said that it smelled bad. I asked him if he would eat it and he said definitely not, yet you brought this to my table and expected me to eat it? He said he would replace it with another, meal but I chose not to eat anything else if such little care and concern was taken with the first meal. Soon after I left the restaurant I became to feel nauseous and with in twenty minutes of leaving the restaurant I was vomiting. I feel that the entire meal should of been comp't but they decide to only comp the fish portion. Sadly I will never ever step foot into this restaurant again. Even though they said the would like me to return, REALLY , After I was Poisoned with what you served me. Thanks, but now Thanks

Good food! All sorts of things on the menu: great salad, good seafood/ chicken entrees. Something for everyone. Usually easy to get a table.
Nice atmosphere. However service can be spotty. I've been there before and waited 30min to get entrees when the place was empty, though that is not typical.

The food was great but the service was less than stellar. Aside from the extended wait time, which could easily be attributed to fresh, made-to-order food, the server was less than engaging nor attentive. As a result, I had to borrow my wife's butter knife to cut my food and often times, was without a drink.

Closes at 10 but we were there til 11. No one tried to rush us out. Had a great time. Service was good despite how busy they were earlier in the evening. Plenty of good food choices.

I have never written a bad review on a restaurant but this needs to be said. I have come in here for door dash multiple times when it is not even busy and have had to wait and sit there for 20-30 minutes atleast. This affects my pay, time and ratings on the app. If you can t get the food out then please stop partnering with door dash. This is the only restaurant I have this problem with in all of braselton.

Very nice restaurant with polite staff. Sweet tea perfect which is very important to me when I go out. I recommend this place.

Awesome food and great service. We had over 16 people at our table and everyone loved their food and the service...Highly recommend the shrimp and the stuffed chicken..oh and you must go for the dessert...Carrot cake and Chocolate cake was DELIGHTFUL!!!!

Have chosen Houndstooth to bring out of town family for a nice lunch after church, and the service and food have been excellent. I love having a nice restaurant in the neighborhood!!

I recently started working in the area and was referred to the Houndstooth Grill by my Boss.

Wonderful atmosphere, great service and one of the best French Dip sandwiches I have ever had. I was so impressed that the next day, on my day off, I drove my best friend over 20 miles for him to try it.

Going back today.
