Of the pizza was so good. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce. I have had a better crust. The pizza was solid. But the wings are why I would go back. The wings are so good you want everybody to try it. Great job Big Al's. I also love the diversity and the sign promoting inclusion.

It was good enough to put it in my hand among the museums I had. It is a museum where you can see various exhibitions throughout 5 buildings. There are various exhibitions of famous painters. Please come.

This is only for the Friday jazz concerts. I have not actually been inside the museum but have gone several times for the free jazz concert. It is a great place to bring a blanket and picnic. The seating fills up fast, but there is usually some space you can find on the grass to the sides. We go not because we listed to the quality of the music. It is more a great place to have some pleasant music in the background while chatting with friends. Parking can be tough if you get there late.

LACMA is not an easy museum to review especially now that it is undergoing a major redevelopment. LACMA is very good for kids and their Nextgen program that allows kids and an accompanying adult free admission is wonderful. They also have very good art classes for kids and adults.

The collection itself is of mixed quality and the old exhibition space definitely needed upgrading. I look forward to what the new LACMA will look and feel like!

If you're traveling with children, the Boone Children's Gallery is the perfect place to chill with the littles on your next trip to LACMA. The museum is generally kid-friendly, and there's plenty of space to run around in the outdoor areas.

The staff and layout here are specially designed to assure you a worse experience. The collection here is hardly ordinary. I would suggest anyone to spend time at The Getty Center instead of here even after you've already stayed in the Getty for a day.

Probably the largest art gallery in Los Angeles, filled with both European and American classical and contemporary art. I probably spent about 4 hours looking through the vast amount of artworks, so that $25 admission fee is justified. Keep in mind though their parking is incredibly expensive.

I didn't get to see everything. They let local students (LA area) in for free after 3 pm. I really enjoyed what I got to see in the two hours before they closed. I'll probably come by again and pay for a full day.

It was my first time ever at the LACMA. It was 7pm and there were so many people there. I don't know what the Sunday hours for the museum are, but there were people inside as well as outside taking photos and selfies at the Urban Lights display right on front of the museum. The energy was palpable, there were a few food trucks available. The LACMA has an outdoor bar and restaurantwas. I didn't go outside the museum, we just stopped by for the photo op with the Urban Lights. I plan on going inside in the future.

Melrose Street - Farmers Market - Los Angeles Museum. It was a bit late because I could not see inside. The pillar on the main gate was gathering people from all over the world and taking pictures. Of course my wife and I also joined in there :)

Came to Lacma around 9pm? I ve heard to come at 1030pm to have a better chance at a more private photo. Anyways it was nice to look at and then leave or people watch. Plenty of free parking around the area at night.

Great place to visit when you're in L.A. There is already a lot to see just outside the museums like the giant big rock called Levitated Mass, the Urban Lights, La Brea Tar Pits and Garden, and nearby museums. When you're inside the museum, there are a lot to see and do and everything is done so beautifully and artistically.

I'm sure this is a wonderful museum, when the exhibits are actually open. Considering the Getty is free and this museum has a $25 fee for non LA county residents I wouldn't say it's worth it at this time.
There is at 1-3 security guards per room, and some wander from room to room. It may be just because we were under the age of 40, but we had a very uncomfortable experience in many of the rooms. Being stared down like we were there to ruin the pieces. There are also a few exhibits that do not allow photography, but it's not very clearly posted. It's in small print (english only, no imagery) on sides of the wall. We didn't notice until partway through one of the exhibits and got snapped at that photography was not allowed. Several others did as well, since signs were not plainly visible and photography is allowed in the majority of the museum. Some of the security guards were very nice though, and gave valuable information on the pieces.
There are some wonderful pieces in this museum. Some Picassos that were amazing to experience in person, and many beautiful sculptures. The 150 Portrait Tone piece by Mark Bradford is chilling and a must see. However this is the most unwelcome I have ever felt in any art museum. I have been to art museums in Boston, Minneapolis, Milwauke, and many other large art museums and never seen the level of security as this one. It felt like we weren't supposed to be here. If all the exhibits were open I would imagine this is a wonderful museum. However in it's current state, I would recommend other museums in Los Angeles before coming to this one.
